Omar at Mark’d was INCREDIBLE when I went to him asking for help in finding the best fit for what I wanted in a tribute piece for my dad, a wonderful, kind man and an amazing dad who had recently passed very suddenly.He listened when I talked, gave good input, was very considerate and the end result exceeded my expectations.I have plans for a tribute sleeve in honor of my dad and am excited and hopeful about this and have no doubt that it’s going to be perfect

Amazing experience! we’re from canada, and walked in while wondering around downtown and decided to get matching twilight tattoos! Russ fit four of us all in, did two different apple designs for us, one outline one color, and was generally a wonderful cool dude! was super clean, calm, and a comfortable environment! we all had a great time thank y’all so much!

Artists here are awesome and very talented. The 4 of us came in for walk-in tattoos and they were super welcoming and accommodating with our designs. Quick with drawing up the stencils and getting our work done. Really happy with how well each of our pieces turned out!Thanks for having us!

I saw Omar and he did the pansy on the top of my arm. It healed quickly without issues (not quite healed in the picture) and I am very satisfied. I have 4 tattoos and this one is my favorite. Omar is really cool, communicative, and has no problem being open about pricing if you ask (very fair pricing) and he was willing to make minor adjustments as we went. I will be making many more appointments with him I think.

Jon Promer was the first person to give me a tattoo, and let me just say, if i were to move i would 100% fly back to PA just to get my art done by him. He is one of many artists at Markd and they are all very talented. I make sure to recommend him to any person that is looking for ink.

My wife and I are from out of town and decided to stop in for our first tattoos. The environment in the shop was great and everyone was very friendly. Marcus did both of our tattoos and both are exactly what we wanted. We will definitely stop by again if we’re in this area again!

I’m not one to really leave reviews unless the experience left a bad taste in my mouth or it was amazing. And unfortunately, I had a less than great experience here at this shop with one artist in particular. He ended up charging me $130 for less than 20 minutes in the chair and for a three word phrase. Nothing fancy, no shading, 3 simple black words. He also took the time to pick apart what I was getting done and has, at the very least, horrible interpersonal skills with customers. I do not recommend getting tattooed by Omar Khan. The work he did wasn’t bad, but I will happily take my business to another establishment and to another artist who makes people comfortable and isn’t a douche bag for no reason. I have been thankful enough to find better artists elsewhere who charge much less.

Jon Promer is a great artist and is awesome to work with! I’ve gotten three tattoos done by him now and he never misses, it’s always a good time when I can make it in for some new ink. Definitely recommend him and the other very talented artists that are at this awesome shop!

THE NICEST PEOPLE!! my best friend and I wanted to get an impromptu tattoo and they were able to take us within an hour of the call! They were so much fun to talk to and hang out with. Such a fun vibe and you can tell the artists care about your experience at the shop. Loved all the memorabilia on the walls too! Engrained in my brain as one of my best tattoo experiences.

Amazing atmosphere, clean building, and very cool decor. Staff is very respectful and polite, and also have great communication and are flexible when scheduling. Jon has done all of my tattoos and his art quality is phenomenal, all while working very quickly. I have never had any complications during the healing process, and during the procedure, Jon packs the color in and lines very well without making it hurt very much at all. Will definitely be going back for more tattoos, and I encourage all in the Port Angeles area to get tattoos and piercings done at Mark’d Body Art!

I am so happy with my experience. Russ has been a consummate professional from the first moment we walked in. Communication has been outstanding and the cleanliness of the shop is impeccable as it should be. Russ took his time and managed to fit very fine detail into a small area. He completely exceeded my expectations for my artwork and stayed within my budget. I feel like I got my moneys worth no question. This tattoo was also without a doubt the fastest healing I have had. I have had several adventurous/dramatic aftercare experiences in my life, and this one has now set a new standard for how easy and painless it can be. We are lucky to have these guys in our town!

Got my first full colour piece done by Jon back in December, and it’s just as vibrant and colorful as the day he did it. He gives clear aftercare recommendations, and really makes sure you’re comfortable during the whole process. He’s a cool guy and an amazing artist that I’d recommend to anyone. Got a handful of tattoos here and can’t recommend Mark’d more! The artists are awesome, outgoing, kind, caring, and hilarious (Jonathan is the man). They’re willing to work with you to make sure you get what you want and won’t try to give you something you’re not 100% excited about just to get it done.The shop is super nice and clean, and they take the Coronavirus restrictions seriously! Felt very safe getting tattoos here after they reopened.Can’t wait for my next one!! 🤘🏼

Fantastic experience and one of the highlights of my trip to Northern Washington. Aaron did a fantastic job with my tattoo and I couldnt be happier. Everyone is kind. The price is great and the art is beautiful. My partner got a cover up and is delighted with the results. I got a shoulder tattoo and Im amazed with it.

I was recommended this place. Was very excited to finally get my childrens names done. Then it was difficult to get an appt. Had to be rescheduled, I brought in pics of what I wanted then it got change around, basically took the pic out and did the names. Charged $100 for a 4 letter name. He just rushed through it. Showed no concern on what I wanted. He talked to me like I had no idea what to do with it after. Mind you I have other tats. It looked decent when finished but after 1 months time it FADED so BAD. Very unhappy. Would not recommend.

Love how they did my artwork for my tattoos on me. Aaron and Russ awesome people even the manager. Theyre all lively and will give honest opinions about pricing and the artwork placing. The place is really really clean and picked up. Will be going again when I get my next tattoo drawing done. :)

Had my wife call to attempt to reschedule for me. Completely rude and unprofessional, even after I had already put a $100 deposit down. Sad to see this is a common theme with tattoo shops in this area. Not to mention I’ve had several people mention that their tattoos have faded after receiving them from here. Would not recommend.

Nice clean shop with multiple artists suiting all styles of art and piercings. Super clean shop with a friendly atmosphere. Ive had Aaron do a couple of pieces for me now and both times Ive been more than thrilled. If youre looking for an artist in PA this is the shop you want doing your work.

I was a little worried about rude treatment because of a couple reviews I had seen before I went in, but eventually I called to see when I could go in to get my nose pierced. The guy who did my piercing was nice and explained everything pretty well for me. It was overall a great experience that I was way too worried about.

Went here for my first tattoo and will be going back for more as time passes. Russ is an amazing artist. Russ went above and beyond to take something I love and tattoo it onto me in ways I didnt even dream of. He made sure I was taken care of before, during and after the whole procedure. The entire shop and all of the staff are focused on cleanliness and a healthy recovery.

They were very accommodating with walk-ins. They were able to fit in 2 small tattoos right away. They have a $60 minimum, $100 minimum on finger tattoos. I removed one star because of customer service, I felt rushed and that I didnt quite know what was going to be on my body at the end. It turned out great but I like to know what is going to be tattooed on my body forever.

Aaron just finished my first tattoo. I was a walk in with several questions. He was patient and willing to answer my questions and made absolutely sure I understood all of the aftercare instructions even though the shop was busy and he had people waiting after me.The place was clean and well set up. I would definitely recommend this place based on my experience. Thanks again!

I took my two sons in an we all ended up getting a tattoo and they turned out better then we expected they have alot of talent I will recommend to all my family and friends

I got this tattoo from Marcus around six months ago. Am still so incredibly happy with it and Im constantly getting comments on how amazing it looks and people are always asking where I got it. Marcus runs a high quality shop with some awesome people. If youre looking for some high quality ink, head their way.

These guys are great. I came in with my mom, first tattoo fir her 70th birthday. Lots of nerves, but they were kind and funny, and we were all cracking up by the end. Thank you guys for treating us so well.

Have had several tattoos done here over about a 2 year span and it only gets better every time. My latest was done by Northern Frank and I love it. Healed amazing, looks amazing. Love it here

I have not personally gotten a tattoo here yet. But, both of my parents have. They are always treated well and appointments are on time. The process was easy and thoroughly explained. Finished tattoos looked great.

I refuse to get inked anywhere else. Northern Frank is an excellent artist and 99% of the art i see get done in the shop is perfect and beautiful. They are all very good artists and a very funny bunch to be around when you are getting inked.

The shop is always clean and all the artist are welcoming and easy to talk to. Marcus has done many of my tattoos and is extremely professional and easy to collaborate with.

Went to Marcus to have a tattoo done. Scheduled an appointment for all of the work to be done at once. When I showed up he said he would only have time to do the outline because of his next appointment. Thought I was his only appointment, was disappointed but agreed. Nextappointment was his wife...not a customer. 3 weeks later returned for the color. Showed pics and described the type of shading I wanted for stars specifically... He deemed it radial shading and went to work. I had asked each star to alternate, with the shading going from light to dark for 1st star, dark to light 2nd star, etc... As i was face down and couldnt observe what he was doing I was very shocked when I was finally allowed to look in the mirror and to my horror, all the stars had been done the same WITHOUT radial shading...I TOLD Marcuss and he told me Well, it is what it is NOW... sorry No offer to help fix it or even listen to ideas. His mood changed towards me, much like a child who has made a mistake. He lost focus on me and began (while still tattooing me) dealing with all the other people in the shop and THEIR business.People showed up discussing contsruction projects that they are working on together....holding their cell phones OVER MY BACK WHILE ITS BEING TATTOOED to show him pictures...My fiancee had to push them back to a semi-sterile zone. All the while them being pushy and Marcus just carrying on with them like I wasnt even there...EXCEPT for the fact HE was ACTIVELY putting ink into my skin for $140/hour! Was horrified by my experience and super dissappointed in my tattoo...Then things got worse...Two of his employees showed up totally drunk and started tattooing eachother. They were loud, stumbling, and making it an unsafe place to be. I was vulnerable laying there on the table. One of them began beratting a fellow artist and tattooist that was working on a customer at the time, saying he wasnt a decent artist and had never done a decent tattoo... This made me feel worse because the tattoist being attacked was the first guy I had gone to in the shop and he had done bracelets on me.This is a WALK-IN, storefront business, DOWNTOWN that is supposed to provide services to children:i.e. earpiercings.I brought my mom-in-law to have her ears pierced 2 weeks ago...Thank God this wasnt going on then. I would have been humiliated and its not even my business, just one I USED to recommend.Marcus Tannerto meAnd I hope you dont think that you are anything but a narcissistic nightmare of a client. Nearly every review you have left on Google is a 1 star, showcasing that you only know how to speak for yourself from behind a keyboard. If you had any substance, character, or conviction you would have brought your concerns to me directly where I would have apologized for my distant behavior that was caused by a personal crisis I learned of that day that was taking up my attention, as well as let you know that both Russ and Aaron were placed on probation as soon as the shop emptied that night due to their poor behavior and judgment. My wife is co-owner of the business and as a family establishment all of our spouses and children regularly stop in. Clients are expected to come back and chat during brief consultations, something you yourself did when approaching me about your project. None of that is your business however.Not only are you a judgmental, reactionary coward, but you are the worst kind of client anyone in the service industry can encounter. Someone who is too afraid to speak for themselves and give the employee a chance to fix the situation, and rushes to publicly shame people for being human. For having off days, and for not being perfect.Much of what happend the day in question could have been addressed and resolved maturely but you chose instead to try and drag myself, my staff, and my family through the mud. Emailing me personally to make sure I saw your review is not only petulant and childish but entirely unnecessary as your review will do nothing to hurt either my feelings or my livelihood.

I walked into MarkD yesterday and was greeted promptly and Russ who waited on me answered all my questions, he also did a fantastic job on the tatto that I wanted and went above and beyond the basic tattoo that I thought I wanted. I will recommend MarkD to anyone as everyone was very professional and nice.
