Absolutely LOVE this place, Lydia was amazing with my arm tattoo and helping me figure out what would look great for me on my arm. Great Atmosphere and very relaxing.My parents tattoos look phenomenal, i live 3.5 hours away but i will drive there again and again to get my work done.Can’t wait for future work!

Andrew is top notch professional, took time to brainstorm a cool idea and ended up even better. Highly recommended...... A year and a half plus later, just got done with all my work, couldnt be happier, twisted raven isnt a downtown tattoo parlor, its a studio with professional artist, Andrew and his fellow artist Lydia who apprenticed under him are amazing, you can tell Andrew has tattooed for years across America and is passing his knowledge onto his fellow artist. Lastly you dont have to book a year out, they know how to schedule and can get you in. I dont say the best but I do use top tier of the A team and thats what you can expect at twisted raven

What a amazing experience! There is literally no other Artist I will go to. My tattoo came out so much better then I had imagined. I am already planning my next one and I just got this one yesterday!. Andrew took his time and gave me breaks when I needed and was super clean. The quality of work he does is amazing. There is a reason he has a 5 start rating on Google. Hes that good!

Andrew is amazing! He is a fantastic artist and all around great guy. When I set up my consultation I thought I had a good idea of what I wanted, but Andrew took my concept and made it 10x better. His tattooing technique is incredible as well. I had a very large tattoo that took 2 sessions but it healed beautifully after both and I couldnt be more pleased with the result. Andrew is phenomenal. I highly recommend over anyone else. He makes sure you are comfortable however that may be. He double checked to make sure the tattoo was exactly what i wanted it to be before he touched me. His gun is dead silent and very relaxing. it was the best tattoo i have gotten so far and he is great with artwork and gets the tattoo done very quickly at an extremely good price.

I got my first tattoo here and the whole experience was everything I could’ve asked for and more! Andrew made SURE I was 100% content and happy with the design and kept making sure as we went along that it was everything I wanted. We even re-positioned the stencil a few times to make sure it was perfect. I showed him about 5 or 6 reference photos and he did an awesome combination of them all. I’ve been recommending Andrew to all my friends and I plan to get all my future tattoos from him!

Everyone at Twisted Raven are super professional in their craft and interactions with clients. Lauren has been my tattoo artist since getting ink, but the owner and other artists are all super friendly and create a welcoming atmosphere.The shop is very clean and sanitary and they take health and skincare very serious before and after the tattoo has been applied. Andrew is an amazing artist!!!I had a very personal tattoo done covering up some scars by someone else and it ended up okay but nothing like what I wanted.I emailed Andrew and he said yeah come on in no problem, I have to admit I was very nervous. I got there he was very professional, walked me through the tattoo and options colors, size, all that stuff. He was very confident and understood exactly what I wanted.After he was done I almost cried it was so beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Came in with a bad experience from a previous tattoo shop and he assessed all of my needs with my current tattoo I was not quite happy with. He is extremely professional, cleanly and went above and beyond what he needed to do to make sure I was happy. I came out with absolutely beautiful touch up work. If I could give Andrew more than 5 stars, I would! He has the perfect combination of customer service, creativity, execution and the ability to read the mind of the customer (which is a talent that is near and dear to my heart since I am not very creative or descriptive)! When I decided to get my first tattoo, I was not entirely certain what I wanted to get, so I took in a drawing and talked to Andrew about a few different ideas, he asked me some follow up questions about the tattoo and just about my style preferences in general. The drawing I gave to him could be called a “stick figure” at best, but what he put together was absolutely amazing! It by far exceeded my expectations and I love it to this day – the concept, the color choices and his artistic style! I also appreciated that Andrew took the time to draw up a custom design as well as to explain what to expect throughout the process, he gave me some tips to prepare for the tattoo all the way through and down to some awesome aftercare advice as well. I strongly recommend him as an artist for anyone from a beginner getting their first tattoo to someone who is interested in getting their 50 tattoo – you won’t be disappointed!

Not only was Andrew very helpful and insistent that I make sure my tattoo was exactly what I was wanting before he started, making any changes and suggestions to make sure he got it just right but he was very friendly and accommodating. He tattooed two different tattoos for me and I LOVE them both so much! He is by appointment only and well worth it, giving you his full attention while you are there! Absolutely fantastic experience! Andrew is an outstanding artist and the other reviews share my same sentiments. I have over 10 tattoos through the years different parts if the country and this was by far my best experience. Andrew was beyond my wildest dreams of being an incredible artist and a talented tattoo designer. I had a double mastectomy 11 years ago and have felt ashamed of my chest due to the scars. The tattooed nipples I had long since disappeared and for years I thought I needed something there to fill in the blank canvas. Finally (through word of mouth) I found Andrew and he created the most beautiful piece of artwork after listening to my thoughts. I have never been happier! I honestly can say that 5 stars is not a high enough rating for Andrew! This was my first tattoo and I couldnt be happier!! I was so afraid as I was getting a huge side piece but Andrew talked me through the whole thing and had a gentle touch!! There was absolutely no pressure for a timeline and he didnt try to take my ideas and turn them into his own, he just listened and enhanced them! Not only did he not pressure you, he always made it clear that he doesnt want you to get something on your body you dont love forever. He goes through many steps and is willing to change his amazing sketches as many times as you ask! He truly wants you to love the piece forever.. And with that he also explains the entire process to you so well I.e how tattooing works and different styles and all things I knew nothing about, he really knows his stuff. The line work is so amazing and its safe to say il never go anywhere else! Also- shop is very clean and hes very reachable and friendly! I would recommend him to anybody!

After several bad tattoos, I went on the hunt for a real artist. After many months of research... What I found astounded me. Andrew Trull exceeded every expectation that I ever could have hoped for. He is one of the most talented artists that I have ever encountered. His attention to detail is impeccable. He is professional, patient & most of all... He is honest. He wont tell you that something will look good in order to please you. He will tell you his thoughts, offer suggestions & he will work with you to achieve the best possible piece of art. He goes into each consultation as if each piece is a masterpiece & the end result is just that... Your own personal masterpiece. He has redone & covered every tattoo that I had before I met him. I always wanted a large piece on my side but looked for years to find an artist that I trusted... Andrew ended up being that artist. He did a large side piece for me, a large shoulder piece & added numerous smaller pieces. He knows that I dont like a lot of attention & attempted to warn me about these tattoos before I got them. I cant begin to tell you about the massive number of strangers that stop me. They all ask the same questions... They want to know who the artist is that created these wonderful pieces of art. Those are absolutely stunning, the attention to detail is amazing. The compliments never seem to stop. He is definitely a game changer. If you have any questions or concerns, he will ease your mind. If you have any doubts, he will erase them when you see what he has created for you. Not only is he an incredible artist, he is an incredible human being. A true gem. Got an intricate, lovely hand tattoo from him when he lived down in Pensacola, FL. Now, he has settled in Spokane and finally opened his own shop. LOVE LOVE LOVE his work.Twisted Raven is a hella welcoming shop that does custom-only tattoos. I have to say, I am kind of a pain in the ass. Andrew translates my way-out-there ideas into images that will work well on my body. He is a totally patient and insanely creative dude. Hes done everything from Tim Burton-esque art to ridiculously fine-lined blackwork for me.I cannot recommend this shop enough.
