Red Octopus Tattoos

I came in for a jewelry change on two nose piercings and saw Cassidy. She’s so good! I’m such a baby when it comes to my nose piercings, especially with changing them. Cassidy was gentle the whole time and checked in throughout to make sure I was good. She also informed me of what she was doing so I’d be anticipating a clamp, etc. Overall 10/10 experience and so happy with the hoop options we decided on for my nose :)

I got my ears pierced today by Cassidy Jones, absolutely painless. She was very quick with it and super supportive. I got my ears pierced before at Claire’s and omg there was such a difference, so happy I went here.

Ive gotten three tattoos by Dallas(kawiikittentattoo) and couldnt have asked for a better tattoo or tattoo experience.Extremely nice human, and always asking questions to find the best tattoo possible for me - or to ask how Im doing during the tattoo.Favorite artist !!

Whichever artist you pick from any of the Red Octopus tattoos is going to be amazing.Today I had the honor and pleasure of getting a tattoo by Dallas (@kawaiikittentattoo on IG) and it my tattoo is amazing. Shes an amazing person and artist and her art reflects it. 100 out of 10 I recommend.

Red octopus looks pretty neat . My first time getting a nose piercing done there. I love it.

My 12 yo got one ear re-pierced and hoop jewelry inserted (it closed up several years ago, was originally pierced by a different shop), and and we were both very happy with the experience. Staff were nice, professional, and the lady who did the piercing put my slightly nervous kiddo at ease with her calm, friendly manner. Would definitely recommend.

Peaches did an AMAZING job with my extremely anxious 10 year old piercing her ears. My daughter did the whole 9, crying, shaking, freaking out (but very much wanted her ears pierced for her bday) and Peaches was so empathetic, understanding and made the experience wonderful for her.

Amazing experience for my very first tattoo! They already came highly recommended, and they did not disappoint. The staff is polite and helpful, the facilities are clean and have a super chill vibe, and my tattooist, Sami, worked with my ideas and gave me exactly what I wanted. The experience was quick, not nearly as painful as I thought it would be, and I was fully briefed on my aftercare. I am super pleased with how it turned out and I am already thinking of what Ill get next!

I’ve had friend(s) on multiple occasions where a piercer makes a rude comment on the shape of their noses and navel when getting them pierced. Personally I did not feel welcomed by the person doing my nose piercing. I would not recommend going to this location unless you want to feel judged.

Julie retouched my eyebrows. Wow, what an improvement. I wasnt sure that any change would make much difference to the mess I already had. How wrong was I? Not only did she distract me from the pain, but I actually have hairs where I thought Id never have hair again. I cant thank her enough for what she has done. I absolutely love my new brows!!

Lindsay does great work! I highly recommend her. She did a great job on my partial cover up.

Dave is the man!!! He helped me with my first tattoos, he is incredibly friendly and a big gaming geek like myself. He made the process simple and easy. The entire time he was doing my tattoo, we just straight up nerded out on Star wars, God of War and Elden Ring, etc. Made the time fly by and before you know it I had my tattoos done. I definitely plan on hitting Dave up again soon with some other designs. He successfully fulfilled all my requirements and beyond with his epic artwork/designs. Amazing!As a side additional review my, wife has been coming here for over a year now getting her tattoos with Dallas, and shes had an amazing experience with her. Her artwork is also amazing!

I’ve had a botched tattoo fixed here & a few piercing by Jax over the years which are some of my best piercings. I had previously had my vertical labret done at another shop and it was done horribly and ended up rejecting so when I came in to get it redone I was super super anxious but Peaches was really nice to me & tried to make me feel better. I ended up passing out because I was so anxious & making a mess with water which was super embarrassing but everyone at the shop was really nice about it 🥹 My piercing is already healing amazingly, the placement is perfect & it hurt way less than last time.10/10 will always recommend this shop couldn’t have asked for a better piercer

Absolutely outstanding! I have been to tattoo parlors up and down the East Coast and as far as Las Vegas, NV. I have never seen a cleaner place! I made an email inquiry and received a call from Ms. Sami Battle. (Awesome name!) She was extremely polite and professional.I was greeted with a smile; she was very attentive as I explained what I wanted and where. The entire experience was very pleasant and my tattoo turned out perfect. I will absolutely return to Red Octopus of Prince Frederick!

I won a VERY generous giveaway from jax for free Microblading a few weeks ago. In less than a month she had me on the books! She was professional, sweet & super personable. She explained everything to me & she’s truly an artist in her craft! I’m in love with my eyebrows, they make life so much easier. I highly recommend her & this shop in general. The environment is A++. I will be back!

I got a bridge piercing done here and they put a nipple bar in for my bridge that rejected immediately. they also pierced my dermal wrong. i wouldn’t go here for either of those piercings. especially not to get a dermal removed because i was in a lot of pain i told them to just stop and i went somewhere else for that.

Dallas is AMAZING. Shes one of the newer artists but she has the potential to be the best I swear. Her specialty is anime/cartoon/Disney, none of which is what I wanted so I wasnt sure how my idea would translate but her color was beautiful so I picked her. She has the talent to go way farther. Ive had a full color tattoo she did for 6 months, and I know that doesnt seem like a long time but the colors literally look brand new. I just went today for touch up and I needed such minimal touch up that it only took about 15 minutes for it. She definitely has a light hand and when she does single needle, you barely feel it. 11/10 would recommend her.

I got a great tattoo from Dallas. She does amazing work. The shop in Prince Frederick is super clear, well decorated beautiful little hidden spot. The service was awesome and profession and my tattoo came out personalized to me. I had an awesome experience.

Im one of those people that rate up or down from 3, not down from 5. My experience was OK, could have been better, nothing to really write home about. I was actually greeted at the front of the shop the day of my consultation with silence and a look of disdain. Maybe they didnt like what I was wearing? Im a chubby black alt girl so I get looks like that all the time. But the fact that it was at an establishment where Im giving them my money rubbed me the wrong way. Without this experience, this would probably be a 4 start review. Now onto the actual tattoo process. I emailed Dallas a month or so before going into my consultation describing what I wanted and giving a reference for her to work off of. She told me day of consultation shed work on it a bit and make it her own style. But she ended up just using the reference I emailed her line for line, cleaning up some of the line work. I have no problem with that, mind you, just a little disappointed. Actual tattooing was fine. Dallas is really light handed in my experience. Everyone seemed nice back there as opposed to when I first walked in. The tattooing area is a little claustrophobic for my likings as it was kind of narrow and the seats were really close. The tattoo itself turned out nice. It was a palm sized (actually a little smaller than) planet with stars and a ring of floating rocks. $150. I could tell the colors werent going to heal very vividly though. I dont know if Dallas isnt used to color tattooing darker skin or what have you. The blue did heal into green pretty quickly and the purple got muddy which I find odd because that shade of purple usually works really well on my skin. I was also surprised she went in with those little white dots. I knew theyd be fun to look at as it was healing but was expecting them to be absolutely obliterated by time they finished healing. Overall, alright experience. Dont know if I, personally, would go back.

I dont usually write reviews, but I had a fantastic experience getting tattooed. My tattoo looks awesome & was well done, place was clean & very professional & welcoming. Dallas gave me a tattoo & she was awesome! Would go again & would highly recommend! Also, cheaper than the tattoo I got in baltimore.

Everyone was so amazing to work with, Hannah was so kind with helping me schedule my first tattoo and explaining everything to me. I got to work with Sami who did both of my tattoos, everything was fast, very professional and very kind and welcoming to a newbie, I would recommend her right away! Thank you everyone so much and I can’t wait to come back for my next tattoo!

I came to red octopus as a walk-in for a piercing and was also hoping that maybe they’d have time for a tattoo (I figured probably not because I know they are booked solid!). The shop is very clean and had snacks, coffee, and plenty of seating. The girl at the desk were super nice and helpful. Gina did my helix and was incredibly sweet and gentle. Afterwards, the girl at the front desk informed me that they may be able to do my tattoo in 20-30 minutes. I killed some time in the area and then came back to meet with Dallas. I’m so grateful she took the time to talk with me and to do my tattoo. She was very gentle and super easy to talk to. The tattoo came out even more beautiful than I could imagine. Thank you all so so much! Already booked my next appointment.

I took my daughter there to get her septum pierced. The folks at Red Octupus were very nice and professional. They did everything they could to put my daughter at ease.

I got an industrial ear piercing done here and they were awesome! Super professional, very detailed, and gentle. Ive gotten tattoos done here prior so I highly recommend for any tattoo or piercing service!

Ive had multiple piercing and no trouble with any of them, but the rook piercing I got here wasnt the best. I know part of it was me being nervous but it didnt go great. With the rook its hard to see the dot when they place it on the ear so I kinda went in blind on the placement. But it was kinda rushed like ok, sit, pierce, leave.Its healing fine (got it done March 31) but I think if your going to go, go for a tattoo.

Sami Battle did my first ever tattoo at Red Octopus’s Prince Frederick location and it was incredible! Couldn’t recommend the shop enough, all the staff was friendly and accommodating!

This is my 5th tattoo first time at Red Octopus, I have never been treated with such respect. I am so pleased with my tattoo and the entire staff was patient and helpful. Very clean, well priced, Duffy is truly the the best artist Ive ever met. I will go back in the future for more work. This was well worth the wait. My mom and I got matching tattoos with Dallas. She was amazing!!! All of the workers were friendly, especially her, who made our first tattoo experience easygoing. Would 10/10 recommend, and will be coming back!!

Duffy is amazing. The shop is a pleasure to visit, all the staff are inviting and friendly, had an excellent time here. My wife got a tattoo and I was impressed. Duffy rocks and was awesome to work with. Great communication right on time, great A++++ experience.

I have a friend who works here and I have seen the tattoo work after finished several times over. I personally know people who have been here and had work done. Perfection at its best with reasonable pricing and very knowledgeable experienced staff. This is the only place that I will allow to do tattooing and piercings on me.

I have had two pieces done here (my first two, in fact!) both times with the artist Sammi. I found her Instagram before I knew about Red Octopus itself but my experience at the shop has been very positive. Everyone at the shop is personable and professional. I was super nervous before my first tattoo and the chill atmosphere definitely helped a lot. Their waiting space is nice and they have candy and coffee available. Plus, you can have someone sit with you without feeling crowded. I will definitely be back for more work in the future!

Even though I have several tattoos, I got my eyebrows microbladed here with Julie. I have had countless comments and positive remarks about how great they look. I highly recommend her for eyebrows. She gets the right color matched and the entire process doesnt take more than an hour. It hurts! Its definitely painful! Its worth it!

Dave and Andi are amazing artists, and Peaches has a great manner with her piercings! 👏 Proper precautions are in-place, even more so now with Covid. Already planning on making another appointment soon! 🖤

Drove friend here to get tattooed. It was the coolest place, everyone on staff is warm and welcoming. Try to make an appointment before you go but theyll work with you either way. The artist consulted with my friend about their design, came up with something they really loved, but then printed out several alternatives with minor adjustments just so they could see what other concepts would look like. Free swag with tattoo. 10/10 Would recommend. Im going there for my next tattoo!

I came here on Wed 8/15 to have my tragus hoop removed for surgery the following morning. The woman who helped me was so kind, caring, gentle and friendly. I then came back today to have the hoop replaced. It was just as they opened and it was swamped. There was a crowd waiting at the door. A different woman helped me and I received the same kind, caring, gentle and friendly service even though she was very busy. I didnt feel rushed and considering how busy she was I did not wait long at all! Thank you very much! Great service!

Definitely GREAT customer service! Great customer service is very rare these days in my opinion. Everyone was very professional and super nice!! It was very busy due to alot of walk in appointments and scheduled. The ladies at the front desk were so organized and professional the whole time. They were Rock stars ! They even Thank everyone for coming in ! I dont hear that alot when visiting a business. Also since it being during COVID everyone followed the COVID guide lines. My appointment was with Shady for my half arm sleeve. I love what he made for me and cant wait til my tattoo is completed. It looks amazing! Shady is definitely professional,gentle, and makes you comfortable. He definitely does great work!! I highly recommend him for any tattoo work you may need. When I say I highly recommend Shady. I mean it! I drove 1 hour and a half to have my tattoo done by Shady. I have recommend Shady and Red Octopus Tattoos to all my friends. I will definitely be back for more tattoo work.

One of the Best Tat shops Ive ever had the pleasure of visiting.Duffy is the Best, she is cool as can be and a truly inspirational down to earth old soul. If youve ever gotten inked by her, youll know instantly the way she listens and talks to you; its almost like she is in your head on the direction you want to go with your ink, whether its your first tat or more than what you already have.

I visited Red Octopus for a septum piercing and my third ear piercing. They pierced my ears with a gun. Way overpriced for piercings that were not done professionally considering it is a well known tattoo and piercing shop. The piercer also seemed like she had less experience while piercing my septum.

I got my labret piercing and the girls there were super helpful and went above & beyond. Highly recommend 10/10

What was supposed to be a husband and wife post covid wedding gift(we made the appointment two months out and waited till after our shots)turned into a nightmare after what was supposed to be two three hour appointments turned into one six hour appointment leaving one half inked and the other half now on a waiting list. Classic bait and switch tactic. We even offered to have her just do the outline on both of us so that we could both come back for color....but we were turned down. In greedy fashion we offered to buy the stencil so that the other half wouldnt have to wait to get theirs done and that was a no. Funny thing is what she stenciled isnt even able to be trademarked by her. The art might have been good but the customer service was trash. Try somewhere who cares about you not just your 700 dollars!!!!!!

Got an anchor piercig there. They were super accommodating and very clean. Made me feel safe per covid standards. Not local but would love to come again

The people are nice. When I got my third holes on the bottom of my earlobes, the gun messed up and the earring went in flipped up. It has been about 4-5 weeks now and both my third holes hurt really bad still
