Alice was great. I had a design which she patiently worked with me on and in the end greatly improved it. Love the end product. My first significant tattoo at the ripe age of 75. Already thinking of what to do next. I highly recommend Coastline and Alice, you wont be disappointed.

Kris always does a fabulous job. I just got some poppies added to my half sleeve in progesss. He worked with me on the design until it was perfect. He’s got a soft touch and is always making sure you’re ok during the process. He’s the only one I’ll go to from now on!

A week before my tattoo, I was able to meet with Kris. I brought a small statue with me and described my vision of the details I wanted. Kris took the time to listen and hear me. He also made suggestions as to placement, color, and shading.Before he was done, I saw a beautiful Kuan Yin, witth such intricate detail, coming to fruition.I cant say enough about what a wonderful experience this was.

Had a great, spur of the moment appointment! The shop was able to take me quickly and the artist did a fantastic job! The shop was clean and everyone was very friendly. If I’m in the area again and get the tattoo itch, this is where I’ll stop!

Haden is fantastic. Hes done two pieces for me and helped expand on a previous third tattoo. Insightful, creative, and will work with you to create a design youre thrilled with. My new favorite artist and always happy to see him and get new work done when Im back in town. Check him out! :)

I had a great experience. The studio was super clean and everyone was very nice and professional. I was a walk in, but I decided to wait till the next day. Scheduling was no issue at all. Charles Rouse, who is a visiting artist, did my tattoo. He did a great job!

I worked with Haden and he was wonderful! The studio is a peaceful oasis off busy Commercial Street (and they had a killer music selection which helped me relax!) I made an appointment which was super easy, and Haden was great to discuss the design and accommodated my budget.This was my second tattoo experience and will definitely return here.

My best friend and I made an appointment with Ephy for matching tattoos while we were in Ptown for the weekend, and she agreed to take both of us and helped us come up with a design based on our ideas for what we wanted. The whole experience was awesome from start to finish, and we both are so happy with our tattoos. The shop was clean, staff were all friendly and helpful, and Ephy is so talented at what she does. I got tattooed by Haden, he was amazing and super chill, felt very comfortable the whole time. The place was super cool and it’s exactly what I wanted for my first tattoo. The store minimum is quite expensive but I don’t blame them for that. Great experience, recommend, Haden was fantastic!

Ive been going to Coast Line Tattoo for many years now.Kris does all my work. Over the past couple of years Kris restored all my tattoos. My arms & back are covered.I decided that I wanted a Tree of Life tattoo put on my right hand directly below my wrist.Once again Kris did a great job.I also just had Kris put a Sun/Moon on the back of my neck.Once you get one tattoo you will get many more . Alice was amazing! She was extremely patient and is one of the most creative/ talented tattoo artists I’ve had so work for me. She did fine line work for me, I completely trusted her input and steady hand. We worked together to create the piece! I totally would and will recommend her.

Worth the 6+hr drive! I was visiting ptown in Nov 2023 and saw they took walk-ins so it was totally a spur of the moment decision. I got Ephy and she did an amazing job. Went home and told my husband so when we wanted to do our next tattoos, it was no question we would come back to Ephy. Ephy is the best! She loves what she does and does an amazing job. My husband said of the 3 weve been to, she is the best! We highly recommend her and will be back, a 6+hr drive, to get any more tattoos from her in the future!

Clean shop, nice tattoo artists, good price! Haden was great and super patient with me, as this was my first tattoo. I wanted something custom in my late grandmothers handwriting and he helped me through the design process. Super happy with the results!

Ephy was awesome to work with. I was unsure about the details of my tattoo and she was nice enough to have me come in for a 30 minute consultation to figure out the specifics. I couldnt be happier with the quality and line work of this piece. Furthermore, Coastline is a real group of professionals. An apprentice artist was going over his sketches for the week with the rest of the team and they were doing a group critique to really hone in and help the newest artist perfect his craft. Would definitely recommend anyone in the area coming in to get work done there!

I went to Coastline for a walk in and was very happy with the work! Ephy was my artist, and I picked the line work out of a book for inspiration and she turned it into a beautiful black and gray tattoo. Good pricing and great art! Definitely recommend checking them out!

First time ever getting a tattoo and Jeff made it a breeze and relatively painless. Given how nervous I was, he made me feel at ease... plus he was very nice! And I didnt have an appointment; just walked in and walked out a little less than an hour later.

I am SO pleased with my experience at Coastline. I was served as a walk-in client, did not have to wait long at all, and walked out with a really special tattoo. Haden was the artist who did my tattoo, and I will definitely be recommending Coastline to my friends. Thank you!

I spent $100 to book an appointment for 5pm on Thursday. The appointment never happened. I arrived 5 minutes before 5 and Ephy was not ready, we were told to come back in 30 minutes. We came back in 45 to give her extra time to finish the tattoo she was already doing. We were then told “I’m not ready, i will come and get them when i am” with a bad attitude. Already 45+ minutes past the appointment time I payed to reserve, we asked for a refund. She couldn’t have cared less for our business at all. Thankfully the receptionist was able to process the refund the next day hassle free which i appreciate but the whole situation wasn’t fair. We had to pay $20 for parking in town for a waisted trip, and then of course the $100 deposit for an appointment that wasn’t properly booked. Do notttt allow people to book timed appointments if it’s not going to be honored. It’s rude.

I had a great experience with Alice this past summer. I sent her a couple of ideas for design and what she came up with was absolutely perfect. The tattoo itself turned out beautifully, and she was very friendly and professional during the process. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in the area looking for a high quality tattoo.

Set up an appointment with ephy, she was super helpful in designing what I wanted! I even changed the design a bit on the day of and she was happy to apply the stencil in multiple places so that it could look just right! the shop was super clean and comfortable. I love how it came out and everyone was super kind, ephys work is awsome! couldnt recommend this shop enough!

Staff there wasnt nice. The tattoo artist was rushing a couple who didnt seem a 100% sure of their future tattoo so she told them they didnt have time to think about it because they had appointments in more than an hour. We just left and went somewhere else. I do not recommend it. And no, its not out of context. :)

Kris is fantastic! I just had my 2nd tattoo done by him. It was a sunflower on my ankle. Kris helped me with the design and size and it came out fantastic! Highly recommend!!

Came in for a full color half sleeve coverup, Kris was excellent. Worked with me throughout the whole process to come up with the design, colors, placement, etc. He did an incredible job, and the shop atmosphere is amazing if youre looking for a more chill, relaxed, low-pressure vibe. After thinking about a very special tattoo for probably 15 years I finally went in yesterday. This was my very first tattoo so was a bit nervous not knowing what to expect. Kris is a true artist and made me feel very at ease. He has a very calming energy about him which helped me a lot! The image I had done (from a necklace my Mom wore for most of her adult life), came out exactly how I wanted it. I could not be happier with my experience and would definitely return for another!!!!

This was my 3rd tattoo with Ephy and they are outstanding! I would rather travel the 3 hours to Coastline and have her work, than have someone I don’t know that is closer to where I live.

Great service all around! Called on a whim on a Thursday for a next day appointment. Got in, gave them the art, they tweaked it to make it work, and within an hour, BOOM, a great tattoo! Kris was personable and great throughout the whole process (and patient when I kept moving the placement!). Would 100% recommend this place -- local guy, knows many of our friends; thumbs up!

Kris has given me five tattoos now, and I love all of them. My tattoos make me feel closer to my true self every time I see them, which is in large part thanks to Kriss ability to listen, process, and then create. My most recent tattoo is a good sized pink and yellow rose on a stem with some smaller buds and leaves in multiple shades of green. It is one I have been envisioning for years and it is definitely more beautiful in reality than it was in my head. I appreciate Kriss ability to talk out what you want and integrate his artistic skill to make it even better. The whole crew is welcoming and the space is safe and comfortable. My favorite tattoo spot and artist, hands down.

Ephy was awesome! She’s quick and does real quality work. Take that from someone who’s been tattooed across the world. Jose was great in maintaining clean covid procedures as well from sanitizing EVERYTHING to only allowing a certain number of people in the shop. Definitely recommend Coastline over other shops I’ve seen on the Cape.

Five star establishment and five star service!This is the fourth time Ive gone to Kris for ink and each time I have been more and more impressed. His attention to detail is second to none! The staff were very professional every time I was here. They were good artists, answered questions, and helped several people through their first tattoos.The building is a bit small and can be a bit difficult to find the first time, but after that its a breeze- and the experience inside more than makes up for it.

My experience was phenomenal. I will only be getting tattooed here by Ephy. She exceeded my expectations for my tattoo and just couldnt have been better to work with. Ephy is a 10 out of 10!

Ive been getting tattooed by the owner of Coastline since hes picked up a gun. Literally. Just by describing an idea, he was able to transform my back into a true work of art. The studio is immaculate, relaxing, and super gay friendly. They are more than willing to work with you on your original art. Trust me, this is THE place to go for the tattoo you want while visiting Ptown. Ill be traveling from the west coast to get work done there in 2 weeks. Since the studio opened I have never gone anywhere else.

Alice was professional and helpful. I gave her a photo of the tatto that I wanted and her drawing was excellent. She even made minor changes to the design that were precisely what I wanted. I would highly recommend this studio and Alice as a tattoo artist.

I absolutely love my tattoo from coastline. The price was really good. My only negative comment is to use better razors so when you have to shave people dont get ingrown hairs. Lol

Ephy is a rockstar! I came in for a tribute tattoo. I brought a photo of the last tattoo that my sister got just before she passed away. Ephy nailed it. It looks exactly the same. Plus, she and the rest of the staff were outstanding! Best place on the Cape, or anywhere in Mass, to get a tat!

Great customer service! So so friendly! Had a touch up done on a tattoo I got here 7 years ago and they were just as great to work with this time as they were when I had the tattoo done in the first place!!

The 100 dollar minimum to me was a little high..my wife got a quarter size tattoo and it took all of 5 minutes to do..we were gonna get matching tattoo but 200 for 10 minutes of work..come on ..however he did a good job and was very nice.

Came in Christmas Eve with no plans and Jef executed my vision perfectly. It was so spur of the moment I felt right at home listening to music. I will never forget this visit since I will forever have the cape on my arm. Thanks coastline!

The artists were very weird and didnt do my tattoo how i wished. i have a tattoo from mooncussers which is down the street from them and their awesome. i love how my tattoo looks from there. i would recomend mooncussers over coastline any day.
