Got a tattoo from here a few years ago of a feather my sister drew. He used the thickest needle and doesnt look like a feather. I was only in town for a few days or Id get my money back.

This is one of the best tattoo places I have been to. Pat an mike are one of the top tattoo artists I have seen. They made you feel at home an very fun to be around. There art work is by far outstanding. An there prices are great.they are far but well worth the ride. Pat redone my black panther an it is amazing love it. So if you want a good tattoo artists these two guys are the best an they are also handsome . Great guys though.

Just left Pat’s shop a couple hours ago and I gotta say that he is FANTASTIC! He held great conversation and his work is amazing. I left more than satisfied with his work he did on me. I would definitely come again and would recommend him to anyone who asks. 5/5 stars, if I could give more I would.

Mike is an amazing artist, I am thrilled with my new tattoo. The shop was super clean, and the owner Pat was friendly and took time to visit with me. Pricing was very reasonable and the service was prompt. I look forward to going back for another great looking tattoo.

My son and I both showed up on a whim. Lucky for us Pat had the day and night to do our tattoos, Because his plans fell through for the Megadeth concert. ABSOLUTELY Amazing Work!! The atmosphere was great, along with all the great conversations with Pat and amongst the rest of the shop. We traveled 2.5 hours and would do it all over again. And plan too!!!

I gave it a 3 star because, when we first got there the service was horrible! My mom, sister an I had appointments made for 6 weeks- when we got there at 11:55a (our appointment was at noon) we stood outside freezing til 12:05 then when they let us in, she said the artist just woke up and needed an hour to get around, as weve had this appointment for 6 weeks my mom was up from North Carolina we kindly patiently waited the hour and went and got something to eat, when we come back at 12:50, he was still NOT ready, we had to sit inside the shop for another 40 minutes until he got ready, finally at 1:35p the first tattoo started! he needed a break after every 20 mins tattoo session, we legit didnt get outta here til 430p!! && There was only 3 - 20mins tattoos.The work is great- but the wait time EVEN with a appointment is CRAZY!!!I may be back cause dude is chill an down to earth but the service in the beginning was horrible!

He inked me yesterday and Im extremely happy with the result. I booked another appointment with him for my husband. We will definitely be spending time at The Dark Horse.

My fiance and I hot our wedding bands tattooed the week of the wedding. Pat was fully booked but he opened the shop early to squeeze us in. He was super cool and really enjoyed talking to him. Gave us a great rate too!

Horrible Customer Service!!! Dude at Counter couldnt barely look up from his phone long enough to answer me and when he did the shop music was so loud I couldnt here a word he said. Tattoo guy never came out of his hole to give me a price, mind you shop was empty!! But oh well their loss, I was going to give them my money no matter the cost cause I need some ink therapy right now!! Do better guys then you might not be sitting there ignoring patrons and actually making some quid!!!

Ive always got my tattoos done from Pat, hes the best. A nice clean environment as soon as you walk in, hes creative and hell work with you to come up with the best possible experience and always does amazing top notch work.

Montana was great! Very knowledgeable, professional and took the time to make sure I was comfortable. He has some great Dad jokes! I will be going back to get a tattoo in a few months.

A wrong turn gone right. I made a wrong turn and went to turn around in a parking lot. I turned around in The Dark Horse tattoo shop parking lot. I have had an old tattoo that faded and aged over the years. I have had different shops look at it and no one seemed to know how to cover it. I talked to the owner Pat and he said he could cover it and was known as the Cover Up King. He not only deserves that title, he excelled past the limits. He created a memorial State of Michigan tattoo to remind me of all the memories of the many relatives of mine, including my parents, who are all buried there. He worked me in on what was supposed to day off and created a masterpiece. He transformed my blob of a tattoo that I was embarrassed of into a beautiful piece that I cannot wait to show off. I would recommend him to anyone.

Pat is great. He worked me, my husband and my brother-in-law into his very busy day. His work is awesome will definitely be coming back again.

Tried the place out and couldn’t be more happy. Five of us walked in and we all got tattoos. We only had appointments for two of us but they accommodated all of us. Super cool guys that work there. They were super fun and did excellent work. If I could give more stars I would.

Got a vertical labret piercing and I was so nervous on my way in, but once I sat in the chair I was totally comfortable. Watched him sanitize the tools and he waited until I was ready which was awesome. I’ve been to many places up north Michigan and this is my go to now! I

Work is amazing my husband has had a couple pieces done and plans to go back for more.

Stopped friday night at 7 and he was closed even though hours said open till 9. Stopped at 330 Saturday and got a price for our drawings that we wanted do e and he said he had a few ahead of us and that he would call later that afternoon after he got his others done. Left our drawings with him. Drove by later on about 730 and he was closed. Still had kur drawings. Tried calling on up till about 930 that evening with no responses. Very disappointed cause it looked lime his work was very good.

I cant believe some of the tattoos I see come out of this place. With each picture posted the longer you look the worse it gets. Recently saw a heart tattoo on someones throat that had terrible line work, was way too dark and was completely lopsided. The heart wasnt even the same shape on both sides. Im not sure why people keep going here. The work is so bad it must be pretty cheap.
