Cannot say enough about my experience working with Bob at Red Spider Tattoo. I reached out to Bob and had an appointment scheduled within an hour of speaking. He walked me through everything, was up front with cost estimate, and gave great customer service and communication. This was my first piece, and Bob was amazing through out, explaining everything from the steps he would take, going over the design, aftercare, and even nailed everything I should expect to feel being that it was my first tattoo. He made the whole process a great experience and the piece came out perfect. I will be back to get more work done and would highly recommend Red Spider Tattoo to anyone looking for their first piece or to get new work done!

Only had minor work done by Bob. Classic old school shop. No frills. 2 chairs and a few steps below grade. Convenient spot in downtown putnam. Plenty of parking at post office and on street. Price was realistic. He is scarring your body for life so there is a cost associated with that. But he isnt gonna drain your bank account for basic work. Bob was super cool. Very laid back vibe. He was real good about taking his time and explaining step by step. I will be returning for future work. My only hesitation in giving 5 stars is entirely based on my super easy work. If I had complex ink done Id be more apt to give 5 stars. But for true transparency I had very basic work done. More elaborate review to come

Bobs done my 2 most recent tattoos. His studio is super chill, not flashy and noisy. He worked with me patiently and perceptively taking the outline of one rose and turning it into a bouquet of strength. I definitely recommend Red Spider Tattoo!

Bob runs a tight ship and has been my favorite to collaborate with on all my recent ink. Highly recommend. Conscientious, clean & carefully considered work is the norm. Both he and Tom work at a high level of art. Ty

Bob is an amazing guy! I was getting my first two tattoos at the same time and he could tell I was a little nervous. He was great at getting me to calm down and feel comfortable. And the art was better than I imagined. Works great to get you just what you want . Definitely going back for more!

5 stars! Bob did an absolutely AMAZING job on my tattoo. I based my tattoo on an old painting that my uncle drew, and he blew my expectations away. So impressed and he was extremely kind and accommodating. Would go back again and would definitely recommend to anyone who asks.

Outstanding lines and beautiful saturation of color. I had Bob do some work for me years back. I loved his work then and had to continue my leg work with him. The attention to details that makes the tattoo was all experience. His tattoo IQ amazing. Thank you Bob and Ill be seeing you after the holidays to add more.

I had Bob as my artist for a thigh piece, and he did amazing work. Throughout the whole tattoo he was very supportive and focused. The shop was also very comfortable and very clean. I would absolutely go again.

I met Bob years ago when he worked in Woonsocket, R.I. I had 8 tattoos done by him there over the years. I wanted another tattoo and found that Bob had opened up his own shop in Putnam, Conn. Due to his great work, quality, professionalism, cleanliness and other great attributes, I went to meet with him again. Another great piece of artwork done by Bob! After moving up from NC, I was dying for some new ink! Bob Lindell was able to get me penciled in at a phenomenal time, and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it every step of the way! Overall just a phenomenal experience from start to finish! The staff was personable, held great conversation, and truly made my entire experience amazing. Will 100% be going back for more work!

Great tattoo shop! Bob, the owner and solo artist, is a great guy, and does great work. I gave him a custom design and he both somehow did exactly what I wanted and made it better than I imagined at the same time. Highly recommended. Will definitely go back.

Small space, but super friendly guys and easy going. Currently adding another artist so there should be more available spots. Little tucked away but worth the drive and the work without question

Just got a tattoo yesterday from Bob at red spider and I definitely plan on finishing my arm with his work I have a bunch of tattoos and never been to the same place twice. I plan to visit again very soon he dose amazing work! Definitely recommend checking out his place.

I tried going in to get a tattoo for my younger sister. My mom tried to get her a tattoo even though she’s 16 and the law says that if she has permission by her mother, she can legally get a tattoo. If she’s a minor, they don’t except minors, even though legally she can.

Everything was great. The shop was super clean and both artists are super friendly. Bob made sure we were happy and comfortable with everything. And we both left with exactly what we came in for ❤

Ive had 7 tattoos over a 12 year span by Bob and I couldnt imagine finding a more professional person. Attention to detail and accuracy are a perfect 10.
