Lucky Strike Tattoo and Body Piercing

I was a little nervous about getting my earlobes pierced again because the first time I got them pierced I got a terrible infection and the holes ended up closing. However, James was very professional and definitely made me less nervous about the whole thing. All of the equipment was sterilized and cleaned in front of me which made me very comfortable. He spent the time to give me detailed aftercare instructions as well. It is almost 5 months post piercing now and they have healed wonderfully. Absolutely no pain or problems when putting earrings in. Great place

Came to lucky strike on Friday seeking new 0g gauges for my ears, was tired of how metal/painted acrylics made my ears feel and trying to shop online was getting frustrating. James the piercer came up front to help and he was wonderful! Super friendly, heard what I wanted, answered any questions I had! Highly reccomend doing business here!!

When I brought my notes and design thoughts to Jessie and came in for the appointment to look at what she had drawn, I cried. It was so incredibly perfect - and she worked with the message I wanted to convey. During our session, she was fun to talk to and worked with my skin with ease. Her perfectionism is obvious, as she checked over lines; I have some loose skin due to weight loss and she worked around that obstacle. I absolutely love it. (Long Live Our Flag Means Death) - this tattoo is about self acceptance, about coming to understand your flaws, your trauma, yourself, and redeeming it. Very clean environment, nerdy, and LGBT friendly - exactly what Id want. The piece is healing beautifully. It took me a long time to decide what I wanted to do - and Im so glad I did it. We brought our 8-year-old daughter in for ear piercing, and the staff could not have been more professional. The whole store is impeccably clean and the team there is incredibly knowledgeable. James was amazing at putting our daughters fears about the process to rest. I would absolutely recommend Lucky Strike to anyone looking for quality piercing.

Love this shop! Leah is amazing, she is so talented and nice! I definitely recommend for people who are getting their first tattoo and for people looking to get more. The whole experience was very calm and relaxing. Everyone was super chill and the facility was high end and very clean. They even did free touch ups after my first appointment. I was very happy with my tattoo and will definitely be going back to Leah for more. 10/10

My artist was Richie. He has a very light hand and does really good work. He uses Starbrite inks, the brightest, longest lasting colors, which are also the best for people with metal allergies like me. I will be returning and highly recommend both artist and the shop.

I love Lucky Strike so much. I started coming here when I got my nostril pierced and since then have added several body piercings and close to a dozen tattoos. Every single time I’ve gone it it’s been clean and everyone has been so nice. The piercings were done well every time and the only time I had an issue it was just how my body reacted and they helped me heal it quickly. I’ve gotten tattoos from at least 6 different artists throughout the years and every single one has been a winner. My latest ones were from Leah and Hunter and I cannot recommend them enough!! Super fun to work with, very clean work that heals well. And they take my silly ideas and make them presentable. Love you guys!!!

Jessie has done all of my tattoos, and she is amazing. Jessie is informative, sweet and talks to you the whole time. Jessie made me feel very comfortable each time i’ve gone, especially when i went alone. I definitely recommend Jessie.

This was my first tattoo ever and I had Hunter as my artist. He did such an amazing job for a good price too. The whole process was fast and easy and he made sure to talk me through the whole thing. I would definitely come back here again, and would recommend anyone who wants a tattoo to go here!!

Great place, John restored a 33 year old tattoo that was very important to me. He did an amazing job, he was very cool to talk with and I will definitely be going back to see him when I go back to Philly for another tattoo.

We came during the earth day specials, the service we received from Jessie and Hunter was absolutely amazing! They did amazing work and very professional. Everyone we interacted with is knowledgeable and so friendly. Very clean and organized. We can’t wait to come back!

I have so much good to say about this place! i got my nose pierced by james when i was 16-17 and he was very kind and thorough! piercing healed right up! and now i keep coming back for tattoos! jessie does AMAZING work! atmosphere is great, everyone is super nice and they all do great work!

I love this studio so much! You walk in and are greeted with a bunch of smiling faces. You can tell the artists love what they do cause they will check with you through out the whole process to make sure your tattoo is what you really wanted. The studio is amazing love the way it was designed with a open layout and they always have music playing. This is my go to studio and will definitely be coming back for my next piece! Also shout out to my artist Leah absolutely love her!

Update 8/14/2023: I now am up to 21 tattoos and all but 1 have been done at this shop. I have also moved 5 hours away and do not plan on getting tattooed at any other shop than this one. My tattoo artists, Paul and Leah, are absolutely fantastic and amazing. The staff here have come to know me well and so every time I walk in, I get an amazing at home feeling. I wont ever go anywhere else and look forward to much more work being done at this shop. Thanks guys for all the amazing work you guys do! 💕I have had 6 out of my 7 tattoos done here as well as my cartilage piercing. This place is by far very friendly and clean! I plan to forever make this my perminate tattoo shop that I go to. All tattoo artists are very friendly and welcoming and care deeply about their clients.

Ive been going to Matt for years, he and his shop are the real deal. Solid work. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive, but extremely high quality. I drive an hour to come here, they are constantly booked out for months. Highly recommend.

He does a good job, and is very friendly, and easy to talk to.About a week ago Matt covered up a terrible tattoo I had gotten years ago with a Slipknot S logo. You cant tell at all that it is a coverup. I am more than happy with it. I will definitely be returning there for piercings and tattoos.

This shop is absolutely fantastic! The staff is extremely friendly, professional and truly cares for the needs of the client. The first time I went here was to have my ears pierced. The senior piercer they have on staff is outstanding and very sanitary with his work. Just be sure to brush up on your Lord of the Rings trivia before getting your piercing done, trust me. I brought my 16 year old daughter to get her first tattoo. (Yes I know I’m a crazy parent) but she is a great kid and doesn’t ask for much, and this is the one thing she really wanted. She is deathly afraid of needles so I know it was something she really wanted. Brayden our tattoo artist was the best. He put her right at ease and was so friendly. It was a great experience for her. The facilities are clean and the staff is super.

I’ve been here 4 times total and have had work done by both Emily and Leah. Everything came out exactly as I wanted. Everyone was friendly and it was a wonderful atmosphere!!

James and the staff at lucky strike was seriuolsy the best my daughter got her ears pireced for the first time and he and the staff was amazing with her she loved ever minute of it he was patience and understanding with her she told jim she was a little nervous but if he knew any jokes shed be OK. Deffinlty worth it since my daughter is 8 years old and we didnt trust the pirecing chains this was worth it!

From the staff being friendly and accommodating, to the shop being just beautiful and clean/sanitary, every part of my experiences there are amazing. They’re very community oriented as well. Overall great people. I’ve been pierced multiple times there, and most of my friends get tatted there. I just got my nose pierced there today and wouldn’t trust anyone else with my face! :^)

Did not use the business came into the shop. Wasn’t greeted and the atmosphere was depressing. The owner was making a video about wanting to hurt people that he disagreed with and came into his shady business. Don’t care what people views are, you never threaten someone. This owner needs to grow up before I let him put a needle on my skin.

I had an amazing experience with Leah! She took an idea that I could only vaguely articulate and created a beautiful piece of art which Im proud to now have tattooed on my back. She constantly checked in on me during the tattooing process and was happy to chat with me while tattooing (which I prefer instead of silence). I highly recommend Leah and Lucky Strike Tattoo!

I was honestly very wary of this place at first. I was getting my first facial piercing a few days ago and the place near me was completely booked up so I had to look somewhere else if I wanted it done soon. I found this place and it had great reviews so I thought, why not? I got a nose piercing and James was great! Very kind, made me feel very comfortable. I didnt believe my friends when they told me it wouldnt hurt bad but it honestly didnt. Theyre very clean and sanitary (at least as far as I know, my knowledge of tattoo/piercing shops doesnt stretch too far) and I love my piercing! My only bone to pick is the placement of the piercing on my nose, but James said that it would be best for hoops in the future so Ill just have to get used to it. Also, he told me to use antibacterial soap but upon further research I found that that can be super harsh so I decided to do salt soaks twice a day instead of once. Overall, five stars, a great place! Will definitely be going back if I ever want another piercing!

I love my nose piercing soo much! The service was great the guy that pierced my nose was super nice! It was my first time getting a nose piercing so I was a little nervous but he helped me through it, and i got it done a few days ago and I havent had any problems at all!

I haven’t been here in years - but when I was younger I got my nose pierced at a mall (I was young and uneducated), it eventually got infected and the piercer at lucky strike helped me figure out that I was allergic to the metal! They fixed me up and sent me on my way 😋😊 I haven’t had any problems since! 💯

I came here to get my first tattoo and I am sure glad I did. The staff were very friendly and more than willing to explain the whole process to me. Compared to some of the more extravagant tattoos I saw getting done mine was very simple and in an easy spot on my forearm, however I can say it was excellently done. My artist was Johnny X and he did an excellent time and kept the conversation up to prevent me from getting nervous at all, the time flew. I followed their instructions and it healed rather quickly without a hitch. Highly recommend this establishment!

The facility was so so clean and took really good Covid precautions! The piercer is professional and his placement is really nice! I got a septum piercing from him and Ive loved it right when I first got a glimpse of it in the mirror. He makes ya feel real comfortable and uses great techniques I think idk. I will totally come back again and I have already recommended them to two friends!

I very highly recommend going there for your tattoo/piercing needs. They always do a great job when it comes to piercings and tattoos and the staff is beyond friendly and welcoming. Ive gotten three piercings and one tattoo from Richie and could not be more impressed with the outcome. Emily did my other three tattoos, and still Im impressed with the healing. Theyre very clean and everything is done in proper procedure. Their newest piercer is very good as well! Always happy when I leave!

Emily did two incredible hip tattoos for me this winter. She took what I wanted and created designs that I loved. One one side she did a hawk with geometric shapes behind it and on the other side an owl. They were made to be semi-matching. Each is about 12-14 inches in length. I absolutely love them. She currently has the hawk posted on her instagram - it is black and white with pops of blue. Worth every penny. Already booked her for a future appointment - havent even decided what I want yet, I just know I want her to do more work for me.

I have had an awful experience with lucky strike tattoo artist Paul. He started work on my arm a few years ago and refused to get me into his schedule to finish it. Ive called the shop and personally contacted him. Its been over a year trying to get him to finish it but now Im going to have another artist do the work. I would provide one star but I am very pleased with their piercer who did my ears. So for piercings I would definitely recommend but never for tattoos!Forgot to mention the tattoo he did was too heavy handed and its my only tattoo that gets raised and itchy!

Tattoo was not bad but the whole experience was messy. I had to go back multiple times to get the very simple drawing right, and had to reschedule after waiting for an hour during my 1st appointment. The artist was good at her s craft beers t there was no conversation. Its supposed to be an overall experience, not just a quick ink.

It was the best experience I have had. Richie was very professional and courteous to me and my fiance he answered every question we both had in full. His tat came out incredibly clean and straight and all four a really great price. I am definitely going back.

James did my piercing the place was nice and clean . I originally went for a tongue piercing, unfortunately my tongue was too small lol. but I ended up getting an industrial piercing which looks amazing.Just warning you it hurts like a mother .. but he did a great job and was super friendly.

Lucky Strike Tattoo is by far my favorite tattoo/piercing parlor. I have received piercings and beautiful works of art from several of the artists. Emily being one of my favorite! She has done several of my tattoos, and is in the process of finishing another one for me. I would refer her to any one who is looking for a personal tattoo artist who wants talented, individualistic tattoos. Her artwork is magnificent and truly unique!

Clean and professional environment. The piercer made the whole experience comfortable. My one piercing did not want to go through, so that was painful. Keeping an eye on it to make sure healing goes right. Definitely planning to go back!

Let me start off by saying, this tattoo parlor is AMAZING. My sisters niece and I went to a tattoo fundraiser they were hosting for a local animal shelter and it was fun. The fundraiser was called Get Ink, Save Paws The shelter had puppies outside under a pop up pavilion and they were so cute. 100% of the profits from all tattoos sold went to the shelter to help with vet bills, food, you name it. It was an awesome experience. And my tattoo is amazing as well. I plan on going there for all my future tattoos.

Awesome artists.... Amazing. But make sure to specify absolutely EVERY SINGLE THING that irritates your skin. Bc going back and asking why what was there was... And I was talked AT and it was very uncomfortable. Ill recommend the artists bc theyre amazing, and the piercer.
