Recently got an amazing tattoo from Jake who is guest spotting. If you’re looking for some sick american traditional, this is your artist! I have a couple from him now and he just keeps getting better. Cannot say enough good things about the piercers at this shop as well - Jetta and Jazzy are very kind and professional. The whole staff is amazing!

This review is wayyyyy overdue! (My apologies!) My daughter and I received our first tattoos back in May of this year (2024). We both came in with ideas of what we wanted. We had a brief and thorough consultation before our service by Jetta (the owner). Jetta took our ideas and made them BETTER! She was so professional and accommodating! Jetta also was the one who did our actual tattoos! My daughter and I were both so nervous! She talked to each of us during our service to keep us calm and distracted. ❤️ My daughter came in with an original digital drawing, that she drew herself of what she wanted. Jetta was able to print out her design on transfer paper and tattoo my daughter’s work on her! I just wanted a simple outline of Lake George. (specifically Bolton Landing). Jetta was able to accurately locate where Bolton Landing was on Lake George and thought a little “heart” would be cute to mark it! Both our tattoos came out AWESOME!We loved A Vita’s service so much my other daughter got her first nose piercing from Jazz. She loved her nose piercing so much, she went back to have her septum pierced by Jazz! I would give more starts if I could!

We got our 5 year olds ears pierced here today. Scheduling was super easy, staff was AMAZING, couldnt have had a better experience. Amazing with our kids and just a really pleasant time. My husband is already making plans to return for tattoos

I was greeted with a smile and positivity when walking into the shop. I had a facial by Kendra, it was amazing! She was so informative and answered all my questions with ease. She was super personable and I loved her vibe. Definitely recommend!!I did the flash tattoo and piercing.. if I remember correctly the woman who did my piercing was named Jazz, she was also super personable. Overall experience was awesome 💖

Been there twice. Both times, friendly professional and excellent work. Went for piercings but would go back for tat next time.

Love the personalities here! Very accommodating and did a good job relaxing me prior to my piercing. I would definitely return for piercings in the future. Nice clean shop, COVID conscious and relaxing. Remember to bring cash to not be charged extra for using a credit/debit card.

Jasmin did so well!! My kids got their tongues pierced and one got their ear done! She is so sweet and makes you so comfortable!!

I got my ears re-pierced/tapered by Jazz! Everyone was so welcoming and professional here, the environment was so relaxed. I’ve had problems in the past with having my ears done with piercing guns, and decided to go a different route. I have had absolutely no issue with the piercings I just got at A Vita! They pierce the professional way, which is so much better for the body.I will be coming back to get more piercings done!!

Got a piercing there came out a day later when I was gently brushing my teeth. Then they wanna charge me to repeirce it. Place sucks since john left!

I had an idea and some photos of what I wanted done. I arrived for my appointment, Jocelyn had a drawing all ready and she got right to work. When she finished the tattoo was exactly what I wanted, her work was excellent and it healed perfectly. Jocelyn was kind and professional and the price was exactly what I wanted to spend. Im definitely going back for my next tattoo!

So I went in to get my ear lobes pierced. And everything went relatively smoothly. However after 2 nights my left stud fell out while I was sleeping. I called to inquire about this and the women spoke to was insisting that I just needed to come in and get a new one put in. I was attempting to explain to her that the whole was closed. It had been out for 3 days because a vita isnt open Sunday or Monday. She kept going on about a taper or something i dont know what that is but I know your piercing isnt supposed to just fall out in two nights. Really just awful for the 150 I paid after tip. Gotta leave this review, not making anything personal but youd expect a whole lot better considering the women who did my piercing has been working there since 2009. Lotta excuses and assumptions made like I would even want to step foot in this place again for anything less than a refund. Go someplace else

My girlfriend went there to get her ear pierced to stop having migraines she told me as soon as she got the piercing her migraine stop

Had an appointment this morning at 11. Went and stood outside for a half hour thinking maybe they got stuck in traffic. No they just never showed up. Usually I wouldn’t be that upset about it, but this is the second time that something similar has happened. The first time was about a year ago, I went into the shop and they asked what I was there for. I said I have an appointment and they said that they couldn’t take me because they were booked and the other person had to leave early, but never cared to reach out to me. I live a half hour away, and I decided to give them a second chance. I went to them to get piercings and never had an issue. I reached out to the owner on Facebook and she apologized and said she was going to reach out to Jocelyn, the girl who was supposed to do my tattoo. Then proceeded to never answer me back. Will not recommend, and telling everybody to never come here. Horrible, horrible business.

Took my 5 year old for her ear lobes to be pierced and the service and compassion was amazing!!!! 10/10 will DEFF recommend

I was so pleased after bringing my 9 year old daughter here last week. Jetta and Angela pierced her ears and the atmosphere was so calm and friendly. Everything was very clean and they were so attentive to my daughter and her comfort. Angela even messaged me later in the day to check on her.

Jetta was fantastic with my 8 year old daughter who’s been begging to get her ears pierced. She explained everything to her and was so gentle and patient that even when we had to have one ear redone my daughter was not nervous for it at all.

While getting my nose pierced on each side the artist did not switch needles. The second piercing ended up getting infected and a keloid grew on my nose. Still trying to get rid of it. Artist were very nice 👍🏻. Overall beautiful set up.

Jaz is the best! She is amazing at doing piercings! Me and my friend got a cartilage done at another place and both of ours got infected. It was so painful I had to take it out. Jaz re-did mine and within two day no pain and no infection! It’s healing up so well. Me and my sister both got ours ear lobes piercings done by her and no problems! she is so talented and does piercings with no pain. Also, she’s very kind and even offered to check up on my cartilage later to make sure it’s healing properly. I highly recommend this place and I will only let Jaz do my piercings! She deserves all the tips!

I wasnt able to find what I was looking for unfortunately, but, what a beautiful shop and wonderful staff. I had a great conversation with one of the artists and I was given a suggestion of where to go to find something particular. They offered to order jewelry for me as well (that was cool). Ill come say hello soon, thanks for being nice.

Super impressed. The shop is extremely clean and the atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable. The staff are all friendly, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. They know their stuff 100%, you’re in good hands here. I got piercings here today, and it could not have gone better. I was comfortable, it was done well, and I received all the information I needed.I will definitely be back. I highly recommend.

I got a double cartilage piercing on one ear and a single on the other. I was in and out within 25 minutes! Jazz was very thorough and all around fun to talk to. The whole experience was relaxing but professional and its obvious that the piercers are knowledgeable and care about their clients. Awesome job!

Just the comfyist place to have permanent make up applied.

I got both of my nîpples pierced, only to come back less then a week later to get them taken out because they were pierced too deep. One piercing was so deep that one side went straight through my areola. I got them taken out and was promised a refunded through cashapp. I’ve called at least 10 times in the past 2 months to reach out about said refund. Twice I was told they needed to talk to the piercer who promised the refund and that they would call me back. The other 8 times, I called when they were open and they didn’t pick up. Very disappointed.

My boyfriend and I got piercings here by Jetta recently. She was so professional and nice and she answered every single question we had. Jetta took really good care of me while I was getting my piercing done and she was incredibly fast and professional when I ended up passing out from the adrenaline lol. And as for the atmosphere of the place, it was incredibly welcoming. Overall, a great place especially for first timers and would recommend to a friend.

I went in for a helix piercing today and I had Jetta as my piercer. It was a very pleasant experience she talked me through it let me know what was going to happen so I didnt have any surprises. As always everyone was pleasant smiling laughing and the shop was extremely clean. I would recommend a Vita tattoo and piercing to anyone

Awesome place. Very friendly and felt very comfortable. The lady that did my piercing was super cool. I had already had it done once and it closed. Now it is fixed and she did it straight compared to the last time.

I go there for all of my piercings and I have to say I love everyone I have gotten. Everything is so clean and they really do know what theyre doing. Great atmosphere, also I really love how open everyone is in there, great way to feel at home. I already know where Im going for my 18th birthday to get a tattoo, mind set. Wouldnt go anywhere else!

Amazing 10/10 everytime i go. Theyve done 3 of my piercings. The staff is so nice and friendly. Everything is top notch and very clean. ALWAYS willing to answer questions. Ill always recommend.

Possibly the worst tattoo parlor experience Ive had. Arrived at 3:10 for a 3:15 appointment and was not seen until 4:15. I understand an event was going on, but there were no directions on where to park, making the parking lot EXTREMELY crowded and dangerous. The front desk staff was abrasive and raised their voice at me when I tried to ask why other customers were being seen before me, despite me being there first and having a sooner appointment. There was clearly very little planning put into this event and it was NOT worth the discounted piercing. Its great that theyre supporting a charity but they need to get their act together and be professional about it.

Great experience! Called in the morning and Jetta was able to squeeze our group in. Jetta was professional and calming to the new piercers. Highly recommend!

Went here in October for a piercing event. Got my naval pierced. Nothing was shown to me coming out of packaging. The clamps were not packaged. And now dealing on and off with an extremely infected Naval piercing. Would not recommend going here!!!! They didnt even explain after care!!!! Highly disappointed. Glad I found a new piercer that does an amazing job!

After having a bad experience here about 4 years ago I decided to give them a second chance and I went in to get both my nostrils pierced about 4-5 months ago. Not only did they come out wildly uneven but they were pierced at completely different angles. I got pierced by Jetta, she marked the first nostril before piercing but when it came to piercing the other one, she had another employee double check the placement of the marker as well as myself. We both agreed that it needed to be moved up more but instead of marking the new placement of the nostril piercing, she said she could eyeball it. I thought it was weird that she hadnt marked the new spot but decided to trust the piercer, I wish I had spoke up. She didnt openly admit they were uneven and blamed it on the swelling. After getting my boyfriend to take a look I back went in and had them take out on of the nostril piercings. If anything I will say that they were kind enough and understanding enough to give me a refund for the one nostril, they were ready to refund me for both but I lowkey felt bad. BUT now the one that I did keep is having problems healing due to the incorrect angle it was pierced at while the nostril I got repierced at another shop healed beautifully with no problems at all. I cant say I recommend this shop.

Was very nervous cause I dont like things near my face however Jasmine was so nice and talked me through what she was doing. Didnt hurt like I thought it would defintly would recommend

I have gotten tattoos and got my tongue pierced I also took my daughter avery and her older sister emma to get there ears done. I highly recommend them so good with me and the kids

One of my family members recommended me to come here. we both got matching tattoos that had just one word and probably took about 10-15 minutes top to do. Looked ok at first, but now that it is healing it looks very scratchy and rushed. And they don’t even match. One of her letters connect and one of mine don’t. Didn’t get told how to take care of it afterwards either. Most i can say is that they are clean which is why i’ll give them 2 stars. Other than that i’ll have to find somewhere else to get my tattoos.

1st piercing since I was 5yrs old. Jazz is great.The parlor is clean and the staff make you feel welcomed. They offer advice as to where to place a piercing but dont force their suggestions.

Wonderful place to go. Tried them out one year ago with a tattoo & a piercing. Tattoo was free-drawn and ended up more beautiful than I even hoped. VERY knowledgeable about piercing - very thorough, sterilized equipment, excellent care instructions. I will definitely be back.

The piercer made me feel completelyComfortable for being a bigger girl getting a belly piercint. $65 for titanium belly piercing. Good pricing and very professional! Will go back for my piercing needs

Went to this location when they had an event that was very dearing and I had a wonderful experience. The staff were great and super friendly. Made me feel at ease getting pierced 2x and comfortable to explain and she went. Definitely would recommend this place....

Decided to get an impromptu tattoo and tried about 4-5 places. This was the only place where the atmosphere and price felt right.

Went to A Vita for a piercing fundraiser for a victim of sexual assault, they had me at hello. A cause so close to my own heart, and piercings. I was nervous because I only like to be pierced by my friend at lark vegas, or back home in Syracuse; but I took a chance and I am glad I did! Jetta pierced my conch and my friends septum, and she made such easy work of it I think my friend thought I was a little dramatic about how much septum piercings suck! HahaJetta gave me some great tips for jewelry buying site which I promptly forgot and aftercare instructions, as usual. The shop was busy, clean, and everyone was friendly.

My partner got her septum pierced here and they did an excellent job! Quick, easy, and good location

Okay, so I only give this place a 2 star because the ladies were very nice & the shop was clean! I got my Tragus pierced here, but unfortunately it is crooked & the earring fell out within two weeks of having it.

Got my industrial pierced and had a much better experience than the first time I had it done. Love their piercing specials. Shop is very clean and staff are very professional.

The best tattoo shop that I have seen you are treated quickly depending on the tattoo that you are doing in question of size but it is the best of all the people are very good and very professional they know what they really do I recommend it very much
