Bombshell Tattoo & Body Piercing

I got my first piercing (septum) pierced here yesterday after a friend recommended the shop. Brad was super helpful and explained everything thoroughly; and made sure that I was suitable for the piercing I was asking for.He explained how he would be piercing as well as why.Some other shops will just pierce you anyways if you are not suitable, or pierce everyone the exact same way. Leading to wonky and offset jewelry.Brad was also very accommodating when I began to feel nauseous after the piercing.The prices! Extremley affordable for anyone especially a college student. I only needed to pay $50 (+ extra for tip).Many other shops / studios tend to advertise low piercing cost but the jewelry is super expensive; ranging from $100-$200 dollars for just a septum. Not bombshell though.

Very disappointed in my correspondence with Krissy. After going back and forth a couple times about what I wanted I started to realize she had very little artistic ability - every photo I sent her was simply cropped and added into an imagine without any actual “design” work. I began to feel very uneasy about her ability, and even more so when I looked at her posted work. Most of the images posted are not even hers, they’re just images from the internet. I was never informed that the deposit was nonrefundable, just that I needed one to secure an appointment. Regardless, the $40 it cost me to cancel was well worth it because there was no way I’d commit to what she had produced. Nothing custom. Nothing creative. Sharing my inspo photo and the image she sent me to make it “custom” which came directly off the internet (also shown below)

I love this place, I don’t think I’ll get my piercings anywhere else. The person who did my piercings, Brad I think, is super informative and helpful. He made sure I knew all about the piercings before I got them, and he taught me about how to take good care of them. He also made my sister and me comfy when we went there together. The piercings in the picture that I got there are the nostril, outer conch (which I learned from Brad is not the same as a helix piercing lol), and eyebrow (the eyebrow is already healed, and I got the nostril and outer conch piercings a few days ago.)

Worked with us on color and made up a great print to put on. Very reasonable on pricing. The tattoo was totally amazing and is rated as the best. Ive seen. The go-to place for a tattoo !

I wanted to get my septum pierced but Brad was honest about how I have a deviated septum and my jewelry wouldn’t look straight. He could have just pierced me anyways and taken my money. I appreciate the honesty because I would have hated to have some crooked jewelry in my nose. Brad you are amazing! Thank you for caring about how my piercings look! You are so professional and you seriously care about your clients being happy with their piercings before they leave the shop. I will never go to anyone else but you! Thank you for always taking care of me and my loved ones that I send your way🙏🏻

Krissi was Awesome the other day. My husband and I will definitely be going back, because we are no where near done getting colored in.They have done a couple peircings for us as well and it has always been a good experience.

Moved to the area a few weeks ago and had a good relationship with my piercer back home but won’t be making the travel to go back when there’s such a credible business right around the corner from me. All the reviews I’ve seen are great, even the VERY few not so good ones because it shows how uneducated some people are, and gave me a laugh this morning. Giving 5stars because they deserve it and I look forward to visiting them very soon.

My mom got a tattoo at this shop today and it was approximately 10 inches long and it was 5 outlined hearts with 5 names next to these hearts. My mom has previously gone to this shop and has had no complaints. This time around, they charged her $200 for such a simple piece and wanted to charge her $300 if she added color. It only took about an hour and a twenty five minutes. As someone who has a lot of tattoos myself, she was ripped off in my opinion. Most of my tattoos are from a well liked artist in Colorado Springs and she wouldn’t even charge that much for the tattoo my mom got. It’s just a shame that a small town tattoo shop is okay with ripping off its customers that have gotten tattoos there before. My mom paid the $200 but did question afterwards why is cost so much and the shop owner felt that was fair. It’s safe to say that it was not a fair price if you compare it to the many tattoos I’ve gotten, my sister have gotten and even my mom has gotten. She will be going elsewhere to get the color put on that tattoo and for futures tattoos.

I got my nose pierced here about a year ago now, and i’m so in love with it!! thank you so much scott, i can’t wait to come back and get more piercings done :)

As long as Krissy is working there, my business will be elsewhere. knowing her reputation and seeing her work done, both tattos and piercings, im sad to have to find somewhere else.

Went to get an anti-eyebrow piercing, asked what he used for jewelry and he replied a curved barbell. Any piercer should know that a curved barbell is not the correct jewelry for that piercing and will absolutely cause rejection and infection. I asked if he had a surface bar and he acted as if it was a strange request and didnt seem to want to do it that way. Took my business elsewhere.Vibes are definitely off in this shop.Also, now I can see from reading the lower rating reviews that multiple people have had a problem with infection and rejection from piercings done at this shop. I can see why, if they dont even use the proper and correct jewelry for a piercing. Especially for the prices they charge for piercings.Ill stick to driving all the way to Eau Claire to use Karma, who has pierced me multiple times and never have any issues with. Plus, they use a 90° surface bar for anti-eyebrow piercings 😉***In response to the comment from the shop: I never stormed out the door, I said I would go somewhere else and left. Quit trying to make me look like the villan when I did nothing but speak my mind on the subject in this review, which I am NOT wrong about. Your piercer is piercing with incorrect jewelry. PERIOD. Your snippy comments on Google and Facebook speak volumes about how you truly treat potential customers. Whack energy, like I said.

I recently had an appointment for a cover up and my artist Scott did an amazing job and gave me an incredible tattoo! I am more over the moon happy with it! I couldnt have asked for a better tattoo!

I stopped In turtle lake to get my piercing done and was told they couldnt do it ...So, I figured Id try bombshell and see what they said.. Sympathetic and Empathetic artist! And Roxy at front counter will guide you Im right direction with no sugar coating!! She tells you whats what and offers great advice on all expressions of body art. Scott and his staff is by far, some of the most talented artist in our area! Definitely highly recommend them. They have moved to the old Happy hour bar location south side of building across street from dollar store, main street. Rice lake, WI.

The service was okay, I got my snake bites done. I was kind of skeptical because I heard from mutuals that their piercings were crooked or got infected even with the proper aftercare. In my case I was willing to risk it. But the piercer and I had to remark the placement probably 4 times. The time where it looked the most even we got it pierced. Of course at first they were swollen, but now that it’s been over a week, I’ve noticed they’re uneven. Which I am upset about but I figured I’d say something being there isn’t much else to do other than letting it close up and getting it re-pierced. Another thing to mention: I felt rushed during my piercing and I understand if there is a time crunch but maybe my piercing would’ve been straighter if it wasn’t rushed.

Just got my tattoo done here. Second one Ive gotten from this particular shop. Had Rita as a tattooist. She was very professional and extremely talented. She was easy to talk to and would joke and tell stories of her past experiences with me. When she was concentrating, it didnt feel awkward to sit in silence and watch a true professional at work. Would definitely recommend this place. Especially Rita. Best part? Cant do dishes now because tattooist says so 😋. Thanks again Rita!!! Will definitely book with you for next piece.

I got a fairly large bicep/shoulder piece and a nose piercing the same visit. Everyone there is great. Its a nice, clean place with a great atmosphere, and friendly, professional people. Scott does really great work, with fair prices. I will definitely be going back for more ink and piercings. Bombshell Tattoo & Body Piercing is a great addition to Rice Lake!!

Havent gotten a tattoo done here yet. Just piercings. They are very knowledgeable about the piercings. Very thorough with the process and directions for after care. Both my brothers and my daughters piercings turned out great with no issues.

Very friendly staff! Apparently I had an allergic reaction from the nose ring I purchased from there. My nose then got infected. I let them know on FB and the owner Scott sent me a personal message and said he wanted to make it right again. He offered to refund me and give me a new one free-of-charge! I took him up on the free stud but declined the refund. It was such a great gesture! It was nice to get treated like a person 😊

Had cassie as a tattooist. She was fun friendly and very professional. Lines were straight and she made sure we approved 100% before even starting. Only downside was the wait, but that wasnt her fault. Would definitely go back. Liked that she would joke with us and would talk with us, without it being forced.

I got my nose pierced here about three years ago and the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable (we discussed a sleeve). I cant testify that the same piercing professional is still working there but Im sure someone of their calibre is!

Bombshell tattoo & body piercing is deffintley the place to go to for all your tattoo & piercing additctions! I heard about this place from my friend and had gotten the medusa piercing, well let me just say first that when I went in there the place was beautiful & the atmosphere was great , but what really made my whole experience comfortable and the best was the professional level of the workers i would reccomomd anyone to go here! I went here for almost all my piercings but my last trip in I paid for 4 piercings on 3 different people and they ALL got infected despite doing the proper care. It was pretty disappointing

I love it here.. I only got my piercings here. So I’m not sure about tattoos.But they are nice, friendly people.Great prices.With piercings they are great, I got 14 piercings there and they are good.So I would consider going here for piercings not sure about tattoos
