Siobhan is an incredibly talented artist--so much so that Ive driven 3.5hrs from Boston in one day/weekend TWICE to get my tattoos done by her (including my first ever), and I receive so many compliments on them.Siobhan and Hailee are amazing at putting folks at ease with the parlors great (and clean!) decor/atmosphere and their relaxed personalities, and they also support local artists in their gallery. Siobhans designs and style are unique. She nailed both of my tattoo design concepts in ways that I wouldnt have imagined but were exactly what I wanted. The consultation was easy, my tattoo quotes were on point, and Im in love with the final products.Im always blown away with Siobhans portfolio, and I cannot say enough great things about these two women and their art.Please note that this is not a parlor/gallery that can accommodate walk-in appointments, as Siobhan is the only artist, is quickly becoming well-known (for terrific reason!), and opens and fills her books a few months ahead of time on a first-come, first-serve basis. Her work is 100% worth the wait! Im sure Ill be back.

Ive now gotten multiple tattoos from multiple studios/artists and Siobhan/Birds & Bones has by far been the best experience Ive had! She spent a lot of time on the tattoo design, making sure she was happy with it, never making me feel like I was just another paycheck! The tattoo itself came out incredible and now the proudest peice I have! Cant wait to get more work done by her and I couldnt recommend her work enough!

I have several tattoos that I love from different artists, however, I planned this important tattoo design for over a year and chose Birds & Bones after very high references from several friends. I was not disappointed in this choice. Hailee exceeded my expectations on every level. She listened to what I wanted, made alterations to the design as we went, and created a very relaxing and comfortable environment. I honestly could not be happier and would give 10 stars if given the option! I highly recommend her and any wait time for an appointment is well, well worth it! I wouldn’t go anywhere else in the future!!

I came to Hailee for my first tattoo ever. She was super friendly and easy-going, but most importantly incredibly talented! They did such an amazing job and brought my vision to life perfectly. I would definitely recommend this studio to anyone who asked.

Hailee did an incredible job accommodating my request, providing professional feedback on design choices and produced a tattoo that I am incredibly happy with. Kristy (spelling?) at the front desk was fantastic and kind as well! 100% recommend the shop if you have the opportunity, you wont regret the experience.

Hailey is such a friendly, welcoming and talented tattoo artist. My best friend and I came to visit Maine for the first time, (me from North Carolina and my best friend from Colorado) and scheduled our appointment weeks before our visit. Hailey did an amazingly beautiful job and made the experience so much fun! She gave us recommendations for restaurants and shops around Bangor that we really appreciated and even walked with us to show us where some of the places are. We are so glad we got our tattoos at Birds and Bones and highly recommend them. Thank you Hailey for a great experience and for our beautiful tattoos.

Hailee was amazing! I absolutely love my tattoo and would love to come back. The atmosphere was so fun and cozy and the staff was really easygoing. I called at noon to see if they were taking walking ins and they had me come in at 4 the same day. 10/10 recommend. Best tattoo experience I’ve had so far.

Hailee was wonderful! I love my tattoo and the whole process was very smooth. I went in with my friend and they agreed to do a tattoo for me if I ended up wanting one as I was unsure at first which was so kind!! While I was waiting for my friends tattoo to be done, the staff member at the desk was friendly and made waiting enjoyable. The whole vibe of the shop was great and I would absolutely recommend birds and bones tattoo to everyone!! Overall a great experience.

My new favorite tattoo!I came to Hailee with a simple idea of moose antlers around my ankle. She took my input, asked questions, and added her creative jazz. Friendly receptionist, fun personalities, talented artist, and an overall terrific experience!

The best best BEST tattoo shop in the entire world! Hailee did an amazing job on my tattoo even with no references and was such a kind and helpful soul. Hunter was also there for emotional support, and we had great conversations! Will be going back as soon as I can afford to add some more of Hailees amazing art to my body :-)

Just had a tattoo and done with Hailee and she is great. She is kind and welcoming. She takes pride in her work and makes sure the client is satisfied. Also, the shop is a relaxed environment and everything is clean.

Siobhan is the most talented artist in the Bangor area. I got a truly original and creative design that far surpassed what I had envisioned. Her watercolor tattoo work is absolutely amazing. The friendly environment is homey, welcoming and warm. They make you feel super comfortable and at ease. Best shop around!!! I cant say enough.

Finally went ahead with my first tattoo at age 47 - the experience was so good, Im already thinking about tattoo #2! The shop is a cool, comfortable, and unique space - exposed brick, wood floors, tin ceilings and art from local artists showcased on the walls. Every interaction from initial inquiry to consult to tattoo day was handled professionally. I felt so at home and at ease on tattoo day that any lingering nerves disappeared. Siobhan has a gently touch and her artistry is amazing. The final result was more beautiful than I had even hoped for.

Shaaaady people. The highly sought after artist here talked trash about other clients while I was being tattooed by the other artist. When I was trying to schedule an appointment the earliest date they had was one year out, and when I expressed hesitancy they coerced me into setting the appointment regardless. So I did. $50 deposit down—I didn’t sign anything saying this was non refundable. I wasn’t able to make my appointment so I cancelled in advance. They have denied my request for refund and ignored my emails. Extremely poor communication skills and very unprofessional. Go to timber hearth or forecastle instead.

Hailee gave me a mountain landscape around my arm and Im obsessed! She is the kindest, goofiest gal on the block. She was super sweet, open to making changes, and just a delight to spend the day with. My husband and I came from out of town and selected Birds and Bones because of its charm! Its like no tattoo shop Ive been to before because theyre super warm and welcoming. Highly recommend checking out this dope shop!

I can not recommend Siobhan’s work enough. I’ve gotten several pieces from her and have recommend her to many friends and colleagues. So thrilled she has a shop of her own to create beautiful art.

Hailee did a sweet spider friend for me as a little memorial for a late friend, and couldnt have been kinder. Clean, amazing space, warm and welcoming, and most of all, comfortable. I felt very safe as a client and just as a human.

Hailee was AMAZING! My skin was super sensitive and she knew when to take breaks to let it calm down and always making sure I was doing ok. I felt comfortable and welcome. Definitely will be back and recommend everyone else to as well.

This is literally one of my go to places for new ink. Siobhán, the owner is such a chill powerful woman with some amazing art talent. Hailee, the other artist is precious and radiates such positive energy. Ive been tattooed by both and I will happily go back for more stabs.

Professional, friendly, & talented from start to finish. Yes, there was a lead time from booking to the appointment, because she is in such high demand. Well worth the wait. I am awaiting her next opening for another appointment. Thank you Siobhan and Hailee.

Unimpressed. Customer service was bland and the one “artist” said she was booked up until February.......4 months from now??? Maybe... if she works 2 days a week. This is not a traditional tattoo shop. Definitely caters to an under 30 crowd.

Whether youre reading this out of curiosity or skepticism, let me go ahead and rid you of either. These people are remarkable, and its been the best tattoo experience Ive ever had. From reception (which, by the way, the receptionists are fantastic) to the chair. 100% coming back.

I went in there with a few questions and I was floored by how good the artwork was. They also took time out of their busy day to answer a number of out of ordinary questions and did it all with a smile on their faces. If I go to get a tattoo, Im sure I will go there.

Great downtown location. I had no trouble finding parking fairly close. So excited for my sitting in July. Siobhan does amazing work and has great vision
