It was very clean, and Evil Dave was amazingly kind and helpful! Im so happy with my Helixs they look so beautiful and I couldnt be happier with the result. Everyone was so sweet, and you can tell they care about what they do. I definitely will come again!

Dave at Urban Rituals is amazing. The shop was super clean and everything he used was also super clean. Super easy booking process and nice quality jewelry to choose from. It can get a bit pricey for the nicer stuff, but super worth it for sensitive skin people like myself. Very simple aftercare instructions and gives you information to reach out to him with any questions. Highly recommend! Dont get your kids ears pierced at Claires. This is a reliable, clean shop with very kind people.

I had such a good experience here! The shop was nice and clean, I was in and out quickly, and he worked with me to make sure the piercing was in the spot I wanted. I felt so comfy and at home the whole time. I’m literally obsessed with my new piercing (the pink studded flat), and can’t wait to come back for more in the future!

I originally went in for a nose piercing. I was real nervous at first. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted respectfully. The shop was well kept and clean. Evil Dave approached me immediately after and the paperwork began. We walked back and he was sterilizing everything; which I liked he was doing it all in front of me. I had questions regarding another piercing (VCH) and he was happy to answer any questions. He even penciled me in to get both piercings done that day, making sure he had no other appoints first. He sterilized the jewelry in a machine before even starting the process. He made the whole experience as comfortable and as painless as possible. Talked me through everything and was very professional. I even purchased a aftercare kit. Evil Dave is your guy for any piercings, especially delicate areas! He knows what hes doing and if you have any questions, he has his social media available.

Clean and informative. I got my septum done and it healed very well. I just wish there were more affordable gold options... Prices for gold started over $100-150 Im pretty sure- which I understand for quality but I was still surprised there wasnt at least one on the more affordable side. All of my body jewelry was/is gold so it was disappointing/tacky to get stuck with a silver septum lol but aside from that, things were smooth.

Always a great experience when I visit the shop. Super clean and great artists. Alex has done a few tattoos for me. He is the best. Dave pierced our daughter’s ears today also. He was thorough and took great care of her.

I got my left anti eyebrow done and it was awesome. Walked me through every step and explained everything, it was quick and pretty painless! I got my belly button pierced and it looks amazing! Dave did a great job. He made sure I was always comfortable and the whole place was very sanitary. The process was very quick and only hurt a little bit. I’ve read most of the reviews on this place and this is the only shop I will ever go to. Very happy with it. :)))

Dave is the freaking BEST and Im so thankful my friend referred me to him. Hes professional and friendly and really cares about people. My first ever piercing was awful because I didnt know Dave and went somewhere else. It swoll up badly and they didnt accommodate with a longer bar even though they did so for my co-worker who got the same piercing. Ultimately it closed and rejected. I wont name and trash the other place, just know I finally came to Urban Rituals and Dave fixed everything and now I love my snake bites! 🐍

I got my septum pierced here (my first non earlobe piercing) in September of 2020. Its currently almost April 2021 and it has healed spectacularly! I had no issues with the piercing whatsoever (thanks to a clean piercing job and good aftercare). The shop is very clean and well cared for. Evil Dave is a great piercer and Id trust him to put jewelry through any part of my body. It was slightly more expensive (with tip) than I expected, but for the guarantee of a correctly done and clean experience, it was definitely worth it.

Go here! Trust me!! I got a daith piercing here today and I will forever go here! Dave was super nice, professional and friendly. Talked me through what he was going to do and aftercare (twice) and most of all, this place was clean!! One of the best experiences I have ever had! Evil Dave was so amazing in how he gave his professional opinion on which piercing was the best fit for my ear. He really cares about his work and wouldn’t want you wasting your money or time if your anatomy doesn’t work for the piercing you may want. He took care of my mother and I, and we laughed so much even through the pain. I will be returning soon!

This place is super great! Not gonna lie, I was super intimidated walking in but Dave made me feel so comfortable! He was knowledgeable about piercings, very kind and knew how to make my friend and I laugh. Dave explained step by step the piercing process and sterilized all the equipment properly (making sure to change his gloves often). The price is pretty average for exceptional service and he responded quickly and promptly to my e-mails. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to get piercings done! My piercer was great, got my septum yesterday and really didnt have high expectations for it being a shop in romulus, but greatly surprised, will not be going back to my old piercer only will be coming here.

First and foremost.... clean clean clean!! Loved that he was throughly cleaning the entrance doors before he even saw us waiting in the car. Great experience! Made us feel very comfortable and welcome. Dave was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Explained the process and procedures throughly. Changed his gloves at each step during the process and sterilized everything. Made me as a mom feel very comfortable with him doing my daughter’s piercing. Need more people like you. I will only be going to and reccommending Dave for future piercings. Super comfortable environment and friendly. He made sure everything was explained to me before the procedure. Everything was sterilized, clean, and straightforward. As someone with pretty bad social anxiety I felt super at home while getting my piercing. Definitely deserving of all the 5 star reviews.

A little less than a month ago, I got my second-hole ear piercing, and it was quick, clean, and turned out so well! I am so happy I had the option to pick the hoop earrings because that’s what I prefer. It’s healing perfectly, and I’m very happy! Would definitely recommend!

On June 4, 2021 I went in and met Dave and got my left flat piercing, first let me say he has thee best personality and I have not had any pain with this piercing AT ALL. I went here because it is a piercing shop and they also do tattoos not the other way around. The entire experience was awesome, he explained everything in detail, answered all of my questions, and my pain level was a 2 at most. I did alot of research before goetting this piercing so I pretty much knew what I had to do and what to expect but it was all still amazing. He has his sterilizing equipment in the room and he has numerous jewelry to choose from, which I might add is all beautiful. I truly recommend Urban Rituals for any piercing you may want, I may be going back soon to get my mid helix on my left ear.

Dave is the best!! I go to school out of state but whenever I’m home in michigan this is my go to place. This is the only place I go where I know the service will be awesome (even recommended my mom here lmao). Got my belly button, 4th lobe, and rook pierced over time. I went here for my nose piercing. Dave was super nice and he really gave me a good idea about piercings. He made sure I knew what I was getting and how to take care of it. I definitely won’t be going anywhere else for any of my future piercings.

I got 3 piercing on my right ear done at once. A conch and 2 helix. The piercer is fabulous. Explained all the details. Put me at ease. He is very lighted handed and made sure I was comfortable. I actually enjoyed my piercing. I will be going back for 2 more to my left ear. Happy I found this shop.

Went in to get my nips pierced. I waited years to get this done out of fear. Let me tell you- this piercer knows what he’s doing!! This is literally the best piercing experience I’ve had, and they were my NIPS! He made it quick and, my navel piercing done somewhere else hurt MORE than my nips did. I’ll never get a piercing anywhere else! Seriously, get your piercings done here. They’re amazing.

I came an got a wrist tattoo 100/10 the process was so easy an the tattoo work is amazing. And the line work is 1000/10 I would totally recommend alex to anyone in the area.

Drove 20 minutes out there and wouldn’t transfer my jewelry because I didn’t purchase it there. Never heard of a piercing shop do that; it’s okay if that’s there policy. It would have been nice to share that with me instead of wasting my time and gas.
