New artist here - Sam P.The owner has a more traditional style, heavy hand, whereas I asked Sam for a realistic neo traditional piece with finer lines. I love my Blood root flower!I suspect any negative reviews are concerning past employees; to my knowledge it’s just 2 artists at the moment.A small, quiet shop.

Travis is easily the best artist I’ve ever come across! Always accommodating of my hectic schedule, has taken me in on short notice and even came in early before opening to do work on me. Not to mention, he’s insanely talented! I’ll attach photos of the work he’s done on me. Every piece is absolutely stunning and exactly how I wanted it. I get compliments all the time and I couldn’t be happier with my experiences. His line work is clean and his shading is seamless. Colors are always bold and beautiful. Not only do I get to leave with a beautiful new piece of artwork that’s been carefully crafted with the utmost attention to detail, I also get to leave with a big grin on my face because he’s so funny, friendly, caring and kind. I plan on coming back again and again and even traveling to get tattooed here as I’m currently moving out of state. Definitely look no further! Go here!

I actually just got my tattoo today done with Travis. He was very respectful and it was done quick. Great experience for a first tattoo. Will definitely go back!

My experience here at Death Or Glory exceeded my expectations! The staff was knowledgeable and very professional. Travis was my tattooer and is the best around hands down. I will come back for more work in the future no questions asked.

Don did my first ever tattoo and he was great but there’s staining around my tattoo because he told me it was their policy that I had to wear second skin on it for 5 days. Then I went to Travis because don was out on injury. (He didn’t use second skin) I went with a friend. Travis took over 45 minutes to set up for my friends tattoo, took multiple phone calls completely stopping tattooing my friend, the line work and shading was very sloppy, AND HE DIDNT WEAR GLOVES WHEN HE WAS SETTING EVERYTHING UP. Then on mine he messed up the design, there’s multiple thicknesses on every line, and he took 15 MINUTES for my tattoo. I will not be going back here. Don was a great guy but my skin is stained from him and it is extremely disappointing that the OWNER does such sloppy work thats on people forever

Got my first non ear piercing done here and it was a great experience! travis and the rest of the staff were very friendly and explained the whole process for me, and they let me sit and rest for a period after to let my blood sugar come back to a normal level. definitely would come back

Drove almost 2 hours to get tattooed. Made the appointment months in advance always in contact with him. The day of the appointment Saturday May 8th, i show up, noone is at the shop. I contact him and he tells me sorry im in Massachusetts at a funeral. Sorry for your loss man, but my time and my mothers time to drive this far. Should have called and cleared your appointments.. i get it, dosent matter right. No problem now, took my buismess next door.

So I have never gotten a tattoo here before. Easy going people fun environment and great work! I love my new ink and will be returning for more.

Not very professional, but got the job done. Had to reschedule twice and they didn’t bother calling me to let me know they had cancelled. so drove all the way there from Wallingford for it to be closed
