CM is an incredibly talented artist and was a pleasure to work with! I had a vision for my cover up tattoo and he went above and beyond my expectations. I was looking to find the best botanical tattoo artist in the Twin Cities and came across his studio. His shop is clean and his crew are all incredibly kind. Would highly recommend this shop and would go back myself. Worth the drive across the metro!

This place is hands down the place to go! Nigh has done several people including myself over the past decade and not a single art work has came even close to being bad or messed up. Not only is he a super friendly outgoing guy, his pricing is very reasonable. And he responds fast, i was able to set up my next appointment right there.He’s very fast at his work! Everyone else in the shop is also very friendly and super awesome aswell. I truly recommend coming here!

Excellent experience. The best and most professional artist I have ever been to. Well worth any wait he has going on. They offer snacks and beverages while waiting or between breaks to ensure the blood sugar doesnt affect the canvases. I dont know if it was just me, but the needles seemed to feel like a massage instead of an attack like some places.

Super clean and welcoming place! I worked with Anna and she was amazing! My mom and I got matching tattoos here and it was her first tattoo so of course there comes with nerves and some back and forth on getting it to look exactly like she wanted it too, but Anna was super patient and helpful. Will be back here to get more work done!

My tattoo was inspired by Haku in Spirited Away His attention to detail was amazing, bringing the dragon to life with expert shading. Me And Wife was referred by a friend, heard there are some good artists that works there Name Nigh, place was a clean atmosphere and very Nice. Nigh would listen to what your ideas of what you want and he’ll sketch up what we like then, suggest where a good place to put it. CM has been “my artist” for almost 10 years now, since he gave me my first tattoo at 18, a purple carnation on my shoulder. He is an amazing artist and I can’t think of any other words to describe his work besides outstanding. He is finishing up a Toy Story sleeve for me now and I just love it! His work ethic and his dedication to his clients is awesome. His shop is comfortable and very welcoming when you walk in...I feel safe when I visit here for my sessions. That’s something that’s really important to me, I’d rather come into a small shop with a few guys and be able to get to know them on a personal level. Jimbo and CM are great! Two really cool guys running an amazing shop!Definitely recommend Lady Liberty Tattoo any chance I get and to anyone who will listen to me! :)

They did his half sleeve.I wanted a tattoo of a Pokemon.Aaron did mine. He was completely professional, Laid back and Very understanding.He definitely tries to be as accommodating as possible. His patience makes you feel welcomed and inviting.Ive had tattoos done at two other places and this experience by far outweighs anywhere else.The environment is calm and relaxed. Place is fantastic. Tattoo shops seem sketchy to me and these guys made me feel like I was at home. Place is spotless and did not make me think it was a tattoo shop. This place is absolutely amazing. I had Jimbo put a rose on my hand and I am so impressed with his work. It looked waaay better than the pictures I showed him during the consultation. The shading was unbelievable, and he even cleared his whole day to make sure he put in time and effort on my tattoo. I highly recommend this place for your tattoo, you will not regret it! I messaged the shop on yelp for an appointment request and they got back to me within the day. Jimbo was also very prompt in his response via email and was very kind and funny and made the experience really fun and enjoyable. I will be going here again for every future tattoo! I have been following CM since he worked at Beloved. I had my first tattoo done by him March 1st. I won one of his tattoo raffles... I have always been impressed with is work but I am beyond impressed with the piece we started. I threw him a couple themes he was interested in my idea on a halloween theme. So I have him creative freedom as I do not have a single artistic bone. I went for the first session he showed me what he came up with and boom we were tattooing. He made me feel comfortable, was VERY attentive to when I was starting to feel to much pain, asked several times if I needed a break. I know I found the person that will do the rest of my ink. My husband was with me and he also got tattooed by Aaron. Super impressed with him as well. My hubs was a spur of the moment and he needed an old tattoo fixed or enhanced a little. Aaron did a fantastic job on the lettering and adding highlights to the original piece. Both CM and Aaron were very nice and down to earth. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone. We drove an hour and would drive futher if we had to. Thank You CM for the awesome piece I look forward to working with you more!!!

Wow! Simply wow! I have never felt so comfortable at a tattoo business. My daughter, with over 12 tats, told me she has found her new and only tattoo biz! CM is just great, from my first call through through completion. I will be back, as will my daughter. Thanks for fitting her in btw. Small town friendly. Loved my experience with Aaron Armstrong. He was very patient with me through my first tattoo, answered any questions I had, and chatted with me through our two and half hour session. They have plenty of amenities, including refreshments and snacks for when youre sitting through a long session. Will be returning.

After 9 months and 58.5 hours in the chair with CM, this small business owner and bad ass tattoo artist earned every bit of those 5 stars. I took my time searching for the right shop, there’s plenty of options, but I quickly learned that not all are created equal. I ran the gambit of being treated like my money wasn’t green enough, to not connecting with the artist before I found Lady Liberty. I followed him on IG for a few months, reviewed his website and portfolio. I was trying to portray the story of 23 years in uniform on my left arm so I wasn’t in a hurry. I’d waited this long, I knew who’d be right for me. After the consultation I felt solid booking sessions. From the first session in November to the last in June he was never sick, late, had to reschedule, or full of superior attitudinal BS. He did provide excellent vision and skill, great conversation and some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in any industry. His head is in the game and he’s leaning forward in the right places! Give them a call, make the trek, snag some ink!
