I have only had excellent experiences here. I was pierced, changed out jewelry and purchased new jewelry on separate occasions. Everyone is professional and knowledgeable. They are problem solvers who will find a way to make sure you get what you need and take care of your body. Their jewelry is super high quality and they have a huge selection. You pay for the quality you are getting. Everyone has good vibes and is very understanding and accommodating.

My first visit, I got a septum piercing and chose the wrong jewelry for it. It ended up falling out the first night, and I was able to come in the next day and get a new piece of jewelry back in my nose- free of charge! Both times I was in, my piercer was very calm and explained every step of the process, answering all of my questions with confidence. Anything from piercing care to figuring out what was right for my anatomy- I got help with it all. They did an amazing job at helping me relax! The process was minimally painful. My piercing is fully healed now and Ive had no problems with it! When I get my next piercing, I will absolutely be coming here.

This is the only place I will get my ears pierced. I have never and will never go anywhere else. They do such a great job and make sure you are happy. They know exactly what they are doing and I love their jewelry. Getting pierced is permanent and I truly wouldn’t go anywhere, they are that fantastic. The only thing is, you often will end up waiting a long time (an hour plus) even if you book an appointment. I still think it is worth the wait, just good to note.

Obsessed with the service, people + jewelry selection!Sean was incredibly professional + gave me more information on how to take care of my new piercings than I’ve had for surgery in the past haha. Technology has advanced so much + I feel very informed.The shop was full of whimsy + vintage video game decor. The jewelry selection was elevated, unique + adorable. Painless… Really!My wife and I took our 17-year old to get her third ear piercing and we both ended up poking ourselves too!My last three body piercings, overseas, were alright… but this one was EXCEPTIONAL…Shon, the owner, makes sure that his team is professional and as qualified or better than him. The shop is also incredibly clean and the selection of jewelry and hardware is extensive.Andy was the expert that worked on my eyebrow and both my wife and daughter’s ears and we both agree on the positive experience!We all know one more thing: this will not be our last time going there!

They were so friendly, patient and overall amazing. Molly saw us at the front and Muffy did our piercing. Also, their selections were pretty great despite all the other reviews online.

Since Claires botched my daughters ears, we had to let them heal and redo them. Ug, why didnt we just come here in the first place. The quality of the jewelry is much better and cooler too. The dedicated time and care that the piercer offered us was fabulous with excellent home care taught. Professional for sure.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff kindly allowed us to slide into the last appointment slots. Thomas the piercer is awesome! His deft hands left us feeling like nothing had happened (yet there we were with shiny, new jewelry). That is some serious skill. Im looking forward to going back.

Just got my septum pierced by Tom and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was professional and also had a really nice, down to earth attitude that put me at ease and made for an all around positive environment. Piercing itself was fast and painless, they really stress cleanliness and sterility. Highly recommend!

The other day I went to get a second piercing on both of my earlobes. I got to say Nicholas Andre is amazing! I want to go back and get more piercing.I was a little anxious since my previous experience of getting my first ear piercings (done with a gun) was incredibly painful and resulted in soreness and irritation that lasted for days.Fast-forward to my visit to Nomad and I didn’t flinch once. Immediately afterwards there was no redness, swelling or pain. I can even sleep on my sides.So if you’re looking for top notch experience I encourage you to stop by Nomad!

EDIT: I apologize, I have been going through some stuff and reacted poorly to a completely safe and reasonable procedure when I wasnt aware of the usual price of things. I am extremely pleased with the earrings. You guys did a good job, and I have no complaints. My ears are not in pain or inflamed, so I can practically forget that theyre there. 😊I deleted the original review because it was an overreaction and isnt representative of the quality of your guys service.

Best service and selection. I went from one piercing to over 10. They have the most beautiful fine jewelry selection and everytime I come back there is new stuff. The staff are so welcoming and just good people. I cant believe I’ve lived in the area so long and didn’t find this gem sooner!! Also most comfortable piercing I ever received. Just go!!

When I got to Nomad Body Piercing, I was very surprised about how professional everyone was, it was a pleasant surprise.This place was very clean, organized, and fun with the artwork they have on the walls. It felt like I walked into a whole other world when I walked in.I got Matt as my piecer and he was supper nice, patient, and caring. He took his time with explaining the sterilizing processes of the earrings, very accommodating to me being in a wheelchair/made it work with the room space, explained every step when piercing my ears, went over aftercare and answered all my questions throughout.I felt welcomed the whole time that I was there and felt very welcomed to come back to make an appointment to help change out earring after the allowed timeframe, and to call and ask questions if need be.I can’t judge the quality of the jewelry as they were able to use my own, but I loved that they had plenty of options in different metals as well. I would definitely love to go back and buy a pair from there to support a local business.Overall this was an incredible experience and would go back and do it all over-again if I had to (hopefully I don’t have to though.)

I know Andy did my ears to a size 4 and I believe he did one of my nose piercings.. anywho, I went in for my septum today (I have had 13 piercings in total) and for some reason I’ve just been terrified of getting my septum done but he was incredible as always. Really accommodating, knowledgeable, professional, and kind.Prior to me ever getting pierced at Nomads I went in twice for concerns over other piercings (tongue healing questions) and they talked me through that too. They are just all around awesome.

They charged me $150 for earrings that I later found for $15 online—same metal, same brand. I love to shop local but I felt scammed. Very disappointed that they didn’t let me return them according to their policy.

I love this place, I got my doubles done here, and recently my septum by Matt! Although I have a low pain tolerance they make the experience very positive. My sister and my friends and I love this place. The jewelry they provide is high quality and they can even change the color of your jewelry. I don’t think I could go anywhere else:

Great experience! They were able squeeze me in for an ear pierce appointment same day. Shon was very nice and knowledgeable, and Matt made the ear pierce process as pain-free and easy as possible. I also really appreciate all the Covid precautions they take, including keeping their door open, and air filter and fan running. Thanks guys!

Got both my nipples pierced on 7.24.2022. Cost $130 total. Did a great job explaining the procedure and costs. The piercer was very thorough with the steps. I love the results!

I brought my teenage son in for a septum piercing and was totally impressed with the operation. They’re safe, clean and friendly. My kids’ septum healed perfectly - no issues. We’re going back for more next week.

This place is absolitley flawless. My boyfriend made an appointment with Gary and we were late to our appointment. When we showed up there were about 10 walk ins at the same time. We were welcomed by the staff and were updated on the wait times even though we were willing to wait as long as needed. There is a huge collection of absolutley GORGEOUS body jewlery hand made from all over the US. Quality metals and mind blowing designs. We drooled over everything in the parlor until it was our time. Each guest gets time unrushed to talk about what they want and pick out some cool jewlery to go with the piercing. After that Gary was ready and walked us over to the private piercing stations that had couches and all this rad art on the walls, clean and comfortable hang out spaces. I was super impressed by this place and recommend it to anyone looking for piercers that really care about your experience and the outcome of your piercing. These guys seriously deserve a million stars. A spot like no other, quit scrolling and goooo!

Came in wanting to get a nose piercing but did not find the jewelry I wanted to get, the lady kept offering the most expensive thing ofcourse & kept saying oh yeah come back when you have they money when I told her they didn’t have the size & form I wanted. Rude. Money is not a problem but their service for sure it is

I had the most wonderful experience going to Nomad. They saw me same day I called to switch out a very old piercing and fit me for a new one. Sarah and Shon were so friendly and helpful! It was my first time going and I will be going back if I ever need anything else!

This company and Shon are pretty good people. But their new hire, Gary. Is an absolute wreck. Hence the one star.Maybe Shon didnt supervise Gary and see how gary works, because I came in with my girlfriend for her birthday to get a septum piercing, her first piercing.Everybody else was so nice and saying that it will be the fastest one to heal, the best one to get, and showed the beautiful overpriced jewelry they had.But Gary absolutely messed up the piercing while having my girlfriend dangle her head off the table so he could get the angle right. This dude slid the needle in a very crooked way with no explanation during the piercing process to where the piercing is visibly crooked. It ruined our whole day.I understand people make mistakes, but for a person whos been doing piercings for awhile, doesnt talk through anything hes doing while in her nose, having her body in an uncomfortable way to where all the blood goes to your head, and doesnt give proper cleaning instructions for a person getting their first piercing. Should not be working there. Or be retrained.After the piercing healed with major numbness in her upper nose and lip, she took the piercing out herself, the hole healed. We later went to Zebra Tattoo and body piercing to get her ceptum redone. Best service, great prices, and the lady also explained how Gary shouldnt have hung her head off the table and also gave her very bad cleaning instructions, I havent heard something like that for the 20 years of piercing people I do not recommend getting pierced by Gary. Fin. But I do recommend Zebra, 10/10 spot, they also have a day care for kids and a really cool waiting room. 20 min away from this spot, go check them outEarings. Nose piercings. Nose pierced. Dont get pierced by Garry. Or dont even get a ceptum piercing here.They dont have the correct methods and their jewelery is over priced for how much it hurts to take out earings.They hang your head upside down, which makes no sense because all the blood goes to your head. My girlfriend got a ceptum piercing I got for her birthday, first one. So we thought it was normal 🤔 but Garry pierced her nose totally crooked and at an angle while she was upside down. Almost passed out because he didnt give her any directions. Her lip and nose was numb for 2 months, she took it out by herself, let it heel. We went to Zebra piercing in walnut creek, Oakland. 10/10 recommend them. ZEBRA told us youre supposed to be sitting up and Nomad doesnt have experience in nose piercings. 2 stars for Nomad because the owner is real nice and I know they try. But Im very disappointed 😞

This was my 4th piercing done here (out of 9 total) and I love this place! Andy has always done mine and I honestly wouldnt trust anyone else but him to do it. I made the trip all the way from San Francisco to here JUST to get my Septum done by Andy! I do NOT regret it! Hes the best! 💕

Got my septum pierced here. I was really anxious but the staff was really nice and very helpful and thorough on what the entire process and healing would be like. It was a very sanitary and clean facility, and i would definitely recommend to everyone!

Myself, my 17 year old sister, and her boyfriend all got pierced here. Andy, a very helpful and experienced piercer- made our whole experience very relaxed and great. He was helpful, and understanding. Patient with all of our many questions, also! I would highly suggest going to visit this shop.

I went to this piercing place and was totally horrified. Its so unsanitary. Every single employee had better things to do then help me I guess! They were all very arrogant and stuck up. Especially the owner I had the honor of meeting, not. Shon Dolcini was his name if I remember correctly. I got 2 piercings and both got infected. I followed their care instructions perfectly but still screwed up ended up taking it out. I strongly advise that u all take your business somewhere else.

Best piercing shop in Marin so far. They really know what they are doing, there professional but still make you laugh and they are very very well rounded piercers with consistency. There prices are pretty decent for being genuine metals too, sized accordingly to your face shape or just how big or small you want it to be from super basic to really ornate gorgeous pieces. I will go to this shop over and over again whenever I need something from jewelry to instilations. I love giving them my support.

I really REALLY want to like and support this place but in the end its been a bit of a disaster. There is one female piercer who is absolutely AWESOME and she gets the only star Im willing to give this place.The rest of the staff are completely rude, arrogant, and simply cannot be bothered to help you. Ive been there about six times and each time theyve been super rude. The lost my drivers license and refused to even apologize or even sympathize.y daughter got both her nose and ears pierced there. They gave her TERRIBLE healing advice which was no big deal because I have much experience with piercings (and also nurse so know very well how to heal wounds) and I got her properly healed. But, one of my daughters pals was pierced there (nose) and they gave her such bad advice she just has to let the piercing close and when she called to tell them how infected it was they scolded her for not taking care of it. She did EXACTLY what they told her to do. She got it pierced by the again and it again got infected. This time I told them what to do and its now properly healed. Each times weve been there we walk in and are treated like we are vermin rather than valued customers.A few weeks ago I called to get Jewelry and they told me they were out. I lost the jewelry in my nose and really needed a replacement. They said theyd take my name and call me. THey never called. I tried to stop by during their advertised hours of operation (twice) and they were closed. I finally caught them open and they were STILL out of jewelry. And I got treated like dirt. They KNOW me. Ive been there a ton and Ive sadly referred business to them and those people also had bad experiences. The dude at the counter put my name on a list and promised he would call me. Its a week later and Ive still not received a call. The dude at the counter gave me some lame line about how there was a piercing show in Nevada and all the jewelry was caught up there. I called four other shops and they all said, uh, no, weve got plenty of jewelry.So, Im done with them and will take my business to the East Bay. I really wanted this place to be awesome and theyre just not. Oh - when I got my nose jewelry changed out there, I took my nostril screw out by myself and the guy yelled at me for spreading germs. (Im nurse, recall, and the first thing I did when I walked in was to use the hand sanitizer before I removed the screw)So, save yourself the trouble and go to the East Bay to Industrial. They ROCK. Theyre at Dwight and Telegraph and theyre super nice, very professional, and crazy clean and never out of stock on anything.

Passive Agressive Customer Service. I went there with my friend cause she wanted to put a piercing on her nose... the guy was rude and passive agressive all the time... he was acting like he didn’t want to make his work... when we asked to see the piercing options, he put the piercings on the table and when my friend was going to see , he held the piercing plate so tight that probably he thought we would steal it from him... I’m glad that we decided to go out of there!!!!!! We’re paying an expensive amount for a service so I think the minimum we deserve is a good treatment!

I CAME HERE BEFORE CLOSING AND THE OPEN SIGN WAS ON AND THE DOORS WERE LOCKED. I just needed to buy piercing spray. It would have taken one minute.
