I was incredibly lucky to nab an appointment with Cindi at the Villain Arts tattoo convention at Thompson Point in Portland this past weekend. First off wow! The even space was packed full of incredible artists and everything was just so clean and dialed. I’ve admired Cindi’s work for a while now and am in love with the character she drew up for the tattoo. She worked diligently amongst the crowds and the sounds all day, checking in with me and letting me stretch/eat when needed. 10/10 I can’t wait to get back to the folks at North Coast Tattoo, they all are talented artists!!

There is no way to adequately describe how much I adore the artwork that Cindi placed on my arm. I will forever be able remember a very meaningful trip my daughter and I took one long weekend to Maine. Traveling nearly four hours for my first tattoo from Vermont, I knew that Cindi’s style fit with what I was looking for to remember this moment in my life. I trusted her fully. I felt completely comfortable the entire time and the studio itself is clean and beautiful. I am so thankful for her experience and most of all, for her gift. Truly a piece of art on my arm!l

She was so thoughtful and created incredible art for my tattoo.This was my first time ever getting a tattoo. The space is very comfortable. I ended up watching Schitts Creek while I had my tattoo done. Cindi was excellent and checked in with me on how I was feeling.The work she did was incredible and I cant stop looking at the beautifully detailed work!

I recently booked my first tattoo with Cindi and I am still smiling from the entire experience. Cindi took the time to understand what I wanted and I walked away knowing I was being tattooed by someone who truly cares for her line of work and her clients. Got an incredible and detailed farmhouse by the genius Cindi Bonet and could not be more thrilled. It was my favorite tattoo experience and resulted in a really beautiful piece. Cindi Bonet has made the most beautiful floral (and bird and bee) tattoo for me. Her line work is perfection. I love how this whole piece evolved.

I got my first ever tattoo from Casey yesterday and I cannot overstate how happy I am with the result! I was very anxious coming into the appointment but Casey did a great job of walking me through the process and checking in with me throughout the entire session. Definitely made me feel comfortable and safe and his artwork is truly stunning. Absolutely would recommend and I hope to get some more work done by him in the future!

I had a wonderful experience at North Coast Tattoo! The shop is very clean and professional and I immediately felt welcome which isn’t always the case at other shops.Cindi is an absolutely amazing artist. I got a large floral piece on my thigh/hip that came out beautiful and I love it so much. It was my first large tattoo and she was very understanding, kind, easy to talk to, and comforting. She kept checking in during the sessions to see how I was doing and overall was a wonderful person to work with.I’m looking forward to getting more work done with her!

Just finished my second visit at Northcoast Tattoo! I have been patiently awaiting my tattoo appointment with Cindi! Amazing experience. I cannot say enough about this shop and Cindi. I have been thinking about getting a tattoo now for a few years and knew I had to find the right artist for my first one. However the tattoo’s I had done are even hard to put into words how amazing and the exact footprint of what I wanted to represent in my life. What a great experience! I emailed Cindi, got an automatic response and followed the prompts from there. I was seen relatively quickly for my consult on beginning a quarter sleeve which was thorough and professional, but also comfortable. My first impression was that the shop was very clean and well put together. At my actual tattoo appointment, I felt at home and welcomed. Cindi was very personable and not once did I feel awkward like I have in some other shops. She checked in with how my tattoo was going, checked on my pain level and offered up to any suggestions I might have on a specific part of my tattoo. Im looking forward to my next session and I am thrilled with the outcome of the first 3 hours of work she did! Overall, their hourly rates are worth it and reasonable for the quality. Its important to remember, you get what you pay for and this is a shop/artist worth checking out.

If I could give them 10 stars I would, every part of my experience was fantastic and the craftsmanship was amazing.

This was my first tattoo, and Cindi was great. She was so nice and welcoming, explained everything that she was doing and made sure I was comfortable. She took her time to get it right, and even though it took longer than she originally estimated, she still charged the quoted price. The tattoo turned out beautifully, and was just what I wanted. She is an excellent artist!The other artists in the studio have very different styles, as reflected by the decorations in their spaces -- one filled with pop culture figures and pictures and one with more dark images -- and everything was clean and fresh. Anyone I talked to on the phone was super nice, and the price was reasonable for such good work. As the sign on the wall says, Good tattoos arent cheap, and cheap tattoos arent good.All in all it was a great experience, and now I am not worried about getting another at this shop!

To echo all others, what a wonderful experience, start to finish. Right from the get go, the folks at North Coast were responsive and so friendly. My husband and I wanted to get a tattoo together, but we dont live in the same location so we expected coordinating appointments to be troublesome but they were flexible and so helpful and made it very easy. The shop is clean and comfortable and Cindi was AMAZING, but everyone weve met at the shop is kind and helpful. We are so happy with our tattoos and we will definitely be returning for future tattoos.

Excellent artists who are very accommodating and friendly. I went to Cindi who took my idea and made it stunning. She is super committed to creating beautiful artwork for her clients and it shows! She was also welcoming and kind right from the moment we got in touch.The environment at North Coast is very clean and comfortable. As they are a relatively new shop, all of their furnishings are fresh and bright. Each artist has a bunch of wall hangings which creates a really wonderful contrast/comparison of eachs individual styles. It gives you a lot to look at when youre sitting for a few hours!

I got this tattoo done with Cindi Bonet just over a year ago & I could NOT (!!!) recommend her MORE! Her work is incredibly beautiful - I still find myself in awe of how wonderful she did! I went to cindi at north coast tattoo for my first big piece, a scar cover up tattoo. I found cindi on Instagram and fell in love with her work, and she designed a beautiful floral piece for me! I went in the middle of the pandemic and the shop was extremely clean, everyone was professional, and cindi made sure I was comfortable the whole time! Her line work is incredible, and so many people have asked me where I got my piece done after seeing it in person! 10/10 would highly recommend and already have my next appointment booked!

I just recently got a tattoo done by Cindi. Best experience Ive had at a tattoo shop. Super clean and inviting. Cindi is such a wonderful artist and by looking at the walls/artwork Id say the same about the other tattoo artists there. The consultation was very professional and Cindi gave suggestions as well as listened to what I wanted the outcome to be. My tattoo is everything I envisioned but better. Because Im no artist. Got my first tattoo done by new artist Casey and it’s absolutely perfect !! He made me feel comfortable the entire process and truly cared that I was satisfied with the end result. His attention to detail is on point ! He has a beautiful style that’s definitely worth checking out. Overall awesome experience 😊 his books just opened so nows the time to get on booking before spots fill up in an instant !!!!

Yesterday I had my first tattoo done at north coast! I have a few others and this was by fair the best experience I have had. The atmosphere is great, the artists are friendly, the shop is clean, tidy and beautiful, and the artist work is even better. I am super impressed with the memorial piece I had done for my grandmother by frank. Out of the 10 tats I have to say it is my favorite! I would highly recommended anybody giving them a shout for your first tattoo or if you are looking to add to your collection!

I got my first tattoo at North Coast with Cindi in July 2020. The shop is super clean and professional. During my visit, they had extra precautions in place due to COVID and it felt 100% safe. Cindi was great with answering all my questions as a first timer and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Her work is amazing and I love the end result. 100% recommend.

My sister and I got matching tattoos (my first!) at North Coast from the wonderful Cindi Bonet! The shop itself is very clean and has a nice vibe, and Cindi is a very skilled artist, as well as an incredibly kind and friendly person. I was unable to do our consultation in person, and there was a communication issue with our design (the reference photos I sent didnt go through). It was difficult to get a hold of the shop via email, but Cindi completely made up for it by taking extra time to talk through the design and make tweaks with us when we got to the shop, which I really appreciated! I felt so at ease as soon as I arrived at the shop, and Im THRILLED with the final product. I would highly recommend getting a tattoo from Cindi!

North Coast Tattoo (Cindi especially!) is awesome! Friendly, clean, professional, beautiful artistry, and honestly the most comfortable tattoo process Ive ever had. Ive gotten work in 4 countries from 7 artists and this was definitely my least painful tattoo. Also, Cindi was so kind and apologetic about the delay and rescheduling due to COVID as if she had any control over it. I just got a great vibe from her from our first communication and that was 100% confirmed when we met in person, and the tattoo itself came out gorgeous and unique and perfectly rendered. A year ago I received a beautiful tattoo from Cindi Bonet. She promised within the first year I could receive free touch-ups, especially with line work being notorious for needing some attention. I am extremely disappointed that I reached out twice via email and attempted to call the shop multiple times before my one year mark and received no response from Cindi. Now I have a beautiful tattoo that I need to find another artist willing to fix. I will make sure others are aware of this when they complement the piece moving forward.Now that the owner responded - I would like to add the simple matter of fact that I didn’t receive the decency of a reply to my email or phone calls to let me know this “policy”. I found out from the response here now. Regardless of what I was told v. said I was told, the line work on half the tattoo is inconsistent & needs fixed.

I was just tattooed by Cindi last week, and it was such a great experience! She made me feel completely comfortable and offered thoughtful advice and suggestions to truly make a design that was once in my head come out so beautifully on my arm! I cant recommend her enough. Alby did an i n c r e d i b l e job on my tattoo - words can’t describe how amazing it is. He’s got an excellent eye for design and re-worked it to all my requests, even if it meant he had to freehand instead of stencil it. His artwork is beautiful and he is totally under the radar - atmosphere was great, he’s mega kind and easy to be around, and overall does wonderful work! Would recommend, would go again!!!

I can’t say enough great things about this studio. Cindi was able to create an awesome tattoo for me. It was not an easy tattoo as the detail is very fine. We worked together and I have the most beautiful tattoo that symbolizes my children.I highly recommend the studio to anybody looking for a tattoo. Cindi specializes in fine line detailed tattoos but there are other artists there that are just as friendly and have their own unique style. I will definitely be back for another tattoo.

Updated! I just had my second tattoo at North Coast on June 3, 2019 with Cindi. I am continuously blown away and thrilled by the professionalism and talent of the entire staff. Cindi was a sincere pleasure to work with and created a breathtaking piece that Ive wanted for years. Her talent is absolutely priceless. I cant wait to go back to NCT for my next one! When it comes to black/grey realism and watercolor hes the most talented artist Ive come across. He gives every piece 100% and in the end you get more than what youve paid for. I got my first tattoo here with Cindi. The atmosphere was so comfortable and clean, it calmed all of the nerves I had coming in for my appointment. North Coast Tattoo Co. is a very professional and friendly shop. Cindi does absolutely amazing work and is very accommodating. She recently finished a piece for me that totaled 14 hours worth of work. In the four sessions it required she took one break! The other artist are all very approachable. A friend of mine is currently halfway through a piece with Corin and is very satisfied.

A few weeks ago I got a tattoo that meant a lot & was really close to my heart. Cindi did an amazing job, and it came out exactly like I wanted it to. The best part was that she cared SO much about making this tattoo everything that I wanted, which shows how much she cares about her work and her clients wishes. A tattoo is on your body forever, and she really recognizes that and tries to perfect your experience along with the tattoo. Plus the whole shop was new and absolutely beatiful. I have been looking around for just the right tattoo shop for quite some time. Thanks to Yelp, I found North Coast and decided to do more research. I contacted the shop and ended up working with Corin who took my random musings and somehow formatted them into the tattoo that Id been wanting for a while now. I loved dealing with her, it was like she was an old friend and we were just hanging out one Saturday, except my old friend had a needle on my skin for two hours. Id recommend them, and have already, to anyone who asks.

I wanted to get a small tattoo in memory of my grandmother who has Alzheimer’s and has recently taken a turn for the worse. I called to see how far Lix was booking out and explained what I wanted and the situation and he got me right in for a same day appointment. I know this doesn’t always work out this way, but I was forever thankful he was exceptionally accommodating for something so much to me. Once I got to the shop he was very patient in working with me to decide the size and place my of the tattoo. I couldn’t be happier with the work he did. Lix was awesome through the entire process. I will definitely be going back for an additional work and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking an amazing tattoo experience!

I had a wonderful experience at the shop and my artist, Frank made me feel very welcome! I got one of his predrawn flash pieces and Im very happy with the artwork. The shop is clean and professional and Ive recommended them to anyone who asks.I will say, always, always list all of your allergies when prompted!! I had a minor allergic reaction to the ointment used, to no fault of the shops, because I didnt list my food allergies. Im still very happy with my tattoo and Frank was very helpful with the aftercare, but its very important that youre honest with them so they can give you the best experience.I will absolutely return to get more pieces done soon!

Attended flash Friday today and it was my first visit to the shop despite following them on Instagram for a while now. I got a beautiful delicate floral piece by Cindi and I absolutely adore it. The shop was very professional and everyone was very friendly. This is my 11th tattoo and I have never enjoyed getting a tattoo as much as I did today. Cindi was awesome! I’ll be back!

He took everything that I wanted for a tattoo and also applied his own personal touch to come up with exactly what I was looking for. I had a piece done by Cindi here today, and could not have been happier with the experience. The shop is clean and welcoming, and it is clear that everyone there loves what they are doing. I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of work that was done, or the friendliness of Cindi and the other artist who was there. I will definitely be back!

Awesome shop and artists. The shop itself is bright and super clean, feels very relaxed and homey when you go in. Ive had work from Alix and Corinne and love all my pieces. Great artists who listen and work with you to get the design you are looking for. I’ve have custom pieces done and cover-ups/reworks of existing tattoos and couldnt be happier with them. This is the only shop in the area I’ll go to.

After following Cindi Bonets work for years, it was awesome to get my 10th tattoo by her! She is incredibly kind and beyond talented, and its clear she is passionate about designing a piece her client will love.The shop was impeccably clean, organized, and clients were distanced well (during my visit there were no more than 2 clients, including myself, being tattooed at a time). Staff wore masks and cleaned their work stations thoroughly. No walk-ins were allowed either. As someone who is hyper-vigilant during this pandemic and taking precautions seriously, I felt VERY safe being tattooed at this shop. The staff are all so talented, friendly and respectful!Looking forward to going back some day for more ink!!PS: If youre going to get a tattoo, get a COVID test before out of respect to your artist risking their health to continue to make a living. Also, dont forget to tip them at least 20% or more!!

When I went in for my consult he was prepared with not only the sketch of my tattoo but multiple sizes to choose from. The day of tattoo he was fantastic! He made sure that I was comfortable and asked me multiple times during how I was doing. Hes very personable! The tattoo parlor is beautifully decorated, with each station decked out in each tattoo artists style. The parlor was immaculate. I am over the moon excited about how my tattoo came out! My sister and I were staying in OOB for the weekend and decided to get matching tattoos on a whim. After reading reviews on Google, we called North Coast. Alex answered the phone and was professional and pleasant. They asked us to come in about an hour. We arrived at the shop, which is right on route one in Scarborough. It is clean and inviting. The staff are all friendly. Frank drew up a tattoo from pictures we showed him. I cant say enough about his work! Amazing. It is well worth the drive to get your ink done here! HIghly recommended. Frank told us that North Country was just opened in April 2018 by artists who formerly worked in Portland. Come show these great artists some love, you wont be disappointed.

Got my first tattoo here with Alix today along with two of my other friends. He knew and created exactly what i wanted by just a brief description. I went for a more painful spot (ribs) though it was quick and he knew how to keep a nervous client distracted from the process and laughing. It was so worth it in the end, and i could not have asked for a better first experience. I would recommend this place to anyone, theyre so clean and well prepare you for the aftercare process not to mention the comfortable and relaxed environment. Corin Webb is my go to person for tattoos. She does an amazing job, especially with color. A few months ago I was going to do this Stitch tattoo but then I lost a family member and she was able to create a different tattoo for me. I choose a dreamcatcher with a wolf in the middle and she changed a few things with that design, that made me love it even more. She makes her tattoos high quality and beautiful. Corin is fun to talk to and she makes the whole experience fun.I highly recommend her and North Coast Tattoo. North Coast is extremely clean and is bigger than the tattoo shop I went to before. When you walk in it feels all friendly and welcomed. My #1 choice to go to.

My personal favorite is owner and fine-line extraordinaire Cindi Bonet. This woman has talent!The shop has loads of parking, which is FREE, in a normal parking lot. I know that seems like an odd thing to say, but for anyone who has gone in town and paid a premium for garage parking on a weekday, you know how big of a deal this is. The shop itself is well decorated, clean, with TVs to gaze at during your session. The first season of Walking Dead was playing a few days ago, and the time before that Cindi pulled up Game of Thrones where I have personally left off watching it years ago.Its these small details that make coming to North Coast a pleasurable experience. Add all that up and leave with a beautiful tattoo at the end... it doesnt get much better than that.

I had an existing tattoo redid and some additional features added. The shop is beautiful, clean and very updated. You feel comfortable the moment you walk in. Checking-in was done all digitally, so it was easy and paperless. ✅ As for what I got... the inside part of the tiger had already been done, what was added to the tattoo was: the actual outline on tiger, tigers ears, and everything off the tiger- so the little ferns and the green/blue coloring. This cost for those additions was $120.00 (two hours worth). I am very happy with outcome and the cleanliness. Go see Corin for the cutest tattoos!! Gorgeous shop, interesting artists, good music, got some serious talent in those doors folks.I was a quiet frustrated that one of my sessions I cleared an entire day for was used for a second consolation where i left empty handed after waiting months. A simple conversation we could have had over the phone for a creative concern.But never the less the quality of care, preperation, professionalism, atmosphere all made up for that major letdown.The quality of their art is fantastic.If your going to get something permanent. These people wont do you wrong.Cant go wrong folks.

Ive gotten a chest cover-up and bicep tatoo now from Lix and I doubt Ill ever use another studio or artist. Beside the homey and chill environment, they are mad accommodating and good hearted people. Very clean and professional. Each artist has their own unique space set up, which makes for an eclectic vibe. Frank gave me my very first tattoo and it could not have gone better. Good conversation about music, didnt rush the task at hand. He has great flash (traditional / neo-traditional), and contrary to his insta name, does not, in fact, suck. So much original flash! It will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine.

I reached out to alby via email to book an appointment, after months of no response he finally reached out and set up an appointment date roughly 3 months away. He told me he would reach out for the deposit when the appointment day got closer. I reached out to ask about the deposit when the appointment was only 30 days away and got no response. I did email him again asking about the appointment and was again ignored. The appointment day came and went and I decided to reach out on Instagram to fid out what happend. He apologized and again set an appointment day with me. I asked to prepay for 3 hours and he said he would send that over the next day. For the second time I never received a deposit request. I did reach out and cancel my appointment. This is completely unprofessional.**edit to add. **I have since talked with alby and got an appointment on the books. I am very happy with how him and the shop have handled this situation!

The artist that I worked with was Corin Webb. She did an amazing job creating the piece I requested. I did not have a picture, only an idea. She did incredible job bringing that idea to life and incorporated ideas that she had and her great sense of color and came up with a piece that I love. The atmosphere is friendly, inviting, and clean. I am a little introverted and was nervous at first but Corins friendly and knowledgeable personality put me at ease. I will be going back to Corin for all my future pieces!
