My mother and I went in March to get our noses pierced. $40 bucks a person, seemed kinda steep. Did my moms no problem as hers was previously pierced. This was my first facial piercing, and I didn’t get asked about placement or anything. I’m 99% sure my piercing is in the wrong spot. Everything was clean but the lack of communication really upset me. He barely talked to me at all. I’m sure he’s a cool guy and all but 🤷‍♀️

I love true hands. No bs, great people, and amazing artists. In southeast Missouri this is the ONLY shop you should be going to. Thomas Booth is super cool and laid back. He makes sure you’re happy with whatever work you get done by him. Super solid tattoos with a great style! My girlfriend will only get pierced at true hands. Great quality jewelry and she’s never had a problem with any of her piercings done here. I can’t praise this place enough. Thanks for everything!

I decided on a random Saturday to go get my bellybutton pierced for the first time and Kelsey at True Hand sure did deliver! I was told over the phone that piercing was walk in only and once I arrived, they got me back within 10 minutes. Kelsey showed me and my husband a nice room which had a spa feel to it. I was in and out within 10 minutes. I know this is a case by case thing.. but my piercing barely bled and It was crazy how little pain there was with it. She was professional and kept a cool demeanor which kept me calm throughout the whole process. I am just two days out from my piercing but its doing amazing!

They worked with my budget and I got an amazing cover up. Tyler did an awesome job! Will be going back in the future.

This place is hands down awesome... Johnny is the best tattoo artist ever. He did my cover up and gave me the prettiest mandala tat Ive ever seen. Due to unforseen circumstances my appointment here was picked up by another artist. I cant say enough for the professional and work ethic for these people. They made the best of a bad situation and made my experience amazing. I now have an amazing piece of art on my arm. I highly recommend Ethan.

I went there to get my septum repierced and just a regular nostril piercing. I filled out the paperwork noting I am allergic to latex. Hand it back to the girl and she takes me to the back to do my piercing. She obviously didnt read it because after she got everything set up I asked her if her gloves are latex free. She said no, are you allergic? I said yes I put it on the paperwork. She went and got a man who I found out was Thomas Booth. Remember how I said I was getting my septum repierced therefore I know where it should be placed....He didnt even check to see whether or not I had enough skin there to pierce, didnt use a clamp(I know not all piercers do). He took a tube on one side of my nose and shoved the needle through....I asked if it would be worse since i had it done before he said no it shouldnt go through the same scar tissue. My eyes did not water, I didnt feel the urge to sneeze and we both heard a crunch sound.. He pierced the cartilage in the middle of my nostrils..... Anyone who has had it done knows you can not touch your nose right after.. I was able to with ease. Needless to say I left went to Cape and had Different Drummer remove it and that took about 7 minutes because it was so high up in nose. Please dont go there for piercings!! The first pic you can see how high it was. The second you can see it is not on the skin at all also while taking the second pic I wasnt in pain at all. I should not of been able to touch my nose like that and not have some sort of pain..

My personal best tattoo experience, Thomas is a master at his craft. They even had me come back to change my aftercare bandages and asked about a follow up appointment for any additional work. A+++

Tyler did an awesome job. He gives his input on what will work and what wont. All the staff seemed like a bunch of nice guys. I had a good visit and I may be back.

Johnny T is the man!!! I had a coverup done on my foot and had talked to 3 other artists before I found him. One had said I was going to have to get laser removal and it wasn’t able to be covered, another said I was unreasonable about what I had wanted. Johnny covered it up no problem and did the design that I wanted. You can’t even tell there was ever anything else there! Will definitely have Johnny doing work for me in the future!

I got my first tattoo here around my 17th birthday. I was terribly nervous but the people were super friendly and helpful in helping me make my decision on a tattoo. They were very clean and it was an overall amazing experience. Ill never go anywhere else! Not to mention theyre very reasonably priced.

Thomas did extremely good on my tattoo, the shop was very professional and had good vibes. He got me water and made sure I was comfortable. The shop was also very clean! Will be becoming back for more!

True Hand Tattoo is the hidden gem of the SEMO area. The shop was extremely clean and a great atmosphere to get tattooed in. Johnny was my tattoo artist today and he did an amazing job. Clean crisp lines. He took his time and even chatted for a few minutes after he was done. I never felt rushed and it made the experience that much better. I look forward to future visits. Seriously consider True Hand Tattoo for your next tattoo.

I got a tattoo done by one of Thomas other workers and the guy did great. Thomas did my friends tattoo and messed it up entirely it was a memorial for her dad and you cant even read what it says its just a blob. I expected more out of Thomas if he couldnt do it on the day we did it then he couldve told us no to come back another day soo i rate this place .5 stars NO WAY Ill ever go back!!

Nope dahlias wasnt dahlias and done with wrong jewelry and done too slanted and uneven. E.r. trip and piercer trip. Now an extra long heal over about 2 to 3 mnths after they were removed i gotta wait almost a year bc damage was so bad to go to My piercer to CORRECT what this shop messed up. But nice people and clean shop.

A month ago, I got a septum piercing at True Hand done by Kelsey! It was very quick and painless! The piercing is healing well and is as straight as can be!
