Brittany is fantastic! I was lucky enough to fill a cancellation spot today and I’m more than thrilled with my new piece. On top of that, Brittany touched up another piece that I would say healed pretty well (minor fading) but now looks absolutely clean. she gave me a very good price, and no extra charge for the time it took to do the touch up. My only complaint about this shop is something out of her control, which is how fast her book fills up with people who think just as highly of her as I do. Thank you again Brittany!

First thing, she can be hard to get an appointment with - but for good reason (just look at her work). She will open up her books for 3 months at a time, and then close them. So you have to book well in advance, or get lucky with a cancellation. I had a small idea I wanted to be brought to life and I got lucky and emailed her right when I saw she had a same day cancellation a few months ago. The process was very quick, she was very clean and efficient and friendly! I needed some color, and sadly at the time she did not have the colors needed. No problem at all, I told her I would either book an appt when her books open, or get lucky on a cancellation again. Well, I tried a few times but was too late for some cancellations - until this past Thursday. I had reached out (late again) to jump on a cancellation time for Friday, to no avail. She not only responded right away, but offered to hold a spot on Friday that had just opened up. I needed to see if it was possible, and sadly it was not. So I emailed her to give her my bad news, only to find out she had JUST gotten a cancellation and offered it to me immediately. I was so stoked! Her pricing was and is extremely fair, you get what you pay for. Happy to find a local, small business that I can support!

I had one of the best tattooing experiences with Brittany at Pins and Needles. Not only is she a remarkably talented artist, but she was also professional, kind and courteous, made adjustments as requested, and was extremely accommodating of my physical issues and needs to take breaks throughout the session. She seemed to genuinely care about my comfort, as well as my happiness with my results. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Brit opened the first tattoo shop in Simsbury and she is setting the standard HIGH. She does amazing work, she so creative and meticulous. Plus the shop is absolutely adorable and comfortable. Makes the whole experience a lot more relaxed and fun. Highly highly recommended.

I needed help loosening the barbell in my eye brow and she took care of it fast. It was the first time I’d ever been to this place. She was very friendly and it smelled so good inside. I’m not familiar with her work but I will surely check it out and consider going here for my next tattoo.Thank you!

Reached out via the Instagram page to inquire about designing a simple tattoo and booking the appointment for it. She responded quickly, asked good questions and asked for pictures. I sent them along, no response. Followed up about 48 hours later, no response. It has been weeks and still no response. I was looking forward to supporting a new, local business, but am very disappointed with the communication (or lack thereof). If she was too busy to book me, if the tattoo design was beyond her skillset, or if Instagram was not her preferred method of communication then she should have said so instead of ghosting a potential new client. This is not a good look for a new business, nor good business practice.

Shared an idea with Brittany (the owner) and she drew me up a sketch that was EXACTLY like I wanted it. The tattoo looked absolutely amazing after she was finished 15/10 would recommend her to everyone
