Dinky Dachshund Tattoo Parlor

I got a get what you get tattoo from here and while I like the concept from the stencil the line work is the sloppiest I’ve ever seen or received from anyone who considers themselves a professional artist. I have had starters and apprentices complete better work. this is shaky and not even straight. not to mention it doesn’t match the stencil I had either. I thought this would be a fun experience but both artists there performed equally as bad work on both me and my friend. We do NOT recommend this location for your tattooing.

I recently visited Dinky Dachshund Tattoo Parlor for a micro-dermal piercing removal. This was a first for both myself and Lily, the piercer. She thoroughly researched the process and did an INCREDIBLE job! She was so friendly, professional, gentle & precise with a scalpel and well-prepared for the task (she even had numbing cream - I was prepared to tough it out, not even thinking that this was an option!). Lily explained what she was doing throughout each step and was very conscious of my comfortability. I highly recommend Lily, she certainly goes above and beyond for her clients!!

Alex,He was a fantastic artist. He was amazing professional and knowledgeable of the industry and regulations. He went above and beyond to maintain cleanliness between tattoos. His flexibility to accommodate our schedule was amazing. If you are looking for a tattoo while in town this is the place you need to go, no questions asked.

I would give 10 STARS if I could!!! I had a wonderful experience here with a landscaping tattoo. The artist, Angela Bartolone, is brilliant!! Look at the detail and depth of this tattoo. Angela did exceptional work on my arm--beyond my expectations. I cant wait for her to finish the other side. This is a true art at its finest!!! I am telling you--you want a fantastic tattoo?--dont look any further--DINKY DACHSHUND TATTOO PARLOR is where you want to go!!!!

My daughter and I went got tattoos together. Angela was amazing she was so patient with me being my first tattoo.Tattoos turned out great! Definitely will go back when I decide on what I want next!

My experience at this shop was phenomenal! Wil is such a great artist and everyone in the shop was so friendly and easy to talk to. The shop is full of intrigue (keeping your mind busy while sitting) and it’s very clean. Sometimes have bad reactions to ink causing the tattoo to rise and itch but so far I’ve had no issues and Rocket has healed beautifully! Thank you guys so much, I will recommend you guys forever!

Got the other side of my nose pierced here! Lily lined it up perfectly and made me comfortable throughout the whole experience.

Will and the whole crew are a group of remarkable people who are all incredibly talented. Will worked on my sleeve and was the most significant help in transferring my ideas into the tattoo medium. I plan on getting more work done at Dinky Dachshund in the future.

I came here last week and got the rose tattoo on my knee by mike. I liked his work so much I scheduled another appointment and got the skull with the palm tree. They’re super laid back and professional. I’m glad I found a place to go to now instead of finding an artist!

Do NOT come here if you want your tattoo to match the stencil. I was getting a linework tattoo assuming it would be just line work as there were no shadows or detailing in the stencil. however my artist Will took it upon himself to add shading and details freehand. this ruined the tattoo, the shadows made what was a rocket look like a football and he added a single line of detail flame to the flame. it looks like something a child would have drawn and is on my body forever now and doesnt match the aesthetics of my 11 other tattoos bc of the shading. I will never come here again or recommend to literally anyone interested in tattooing in slippery rock. you are better making the trip to Zelinople to go to Boney Joes where they actually listen to their clients and create beautiful finished work.

Lily is simply amazing! She’s done 3 of my piercings & she was absolutely professional with them. She explained clear as day & then some on what to expect. Her attitude & demeanor both were very pleasant & she’s simply just so sweet. I’ll be back!

Wil had a great shop with talented staff!! He’s my go to artist for all my work! Just finished a full sleeve and can’t wait to start my next tattoo. Lily is a great piercer too! She pierced my cartilage that I was missing since my last had closed up. Great atmosphere with wonderful people!!

This is now the second piercing Lily has done for me. She repierced my belly button, which now looks fantastic and has healed wonderfully. I just got my industrial pierced by her today and she was so caring when I felt dizzy and didn’t make me feel embarrassed about it. She also switched out some jewelry on old piercings and made me refall in love with them. Definitely recommend Lily if you’re looking for a piercing or new jewelry :) The pricing isn’t bad at all either!!Update:: It’s now March of ‘24 and both have healed wonderfully! I’ll be back:)

The artists here are all very professional and do great work! This is definitely the place to go for tattoos and piercings!

Had a lovely experience here. I came to get my tongue piercing switched out because another shop had put in one that was much too short, and Lily was very accommodating and friendly. She switched my piercing to a longer bar, and explained in detail about the medical aspects involved with tongue piercings. I left feeling much more educated on my piercing, and will definitely come back for any future piercing needs.

I got my industrial piercing done here a little over a week ago. I was able to walk in and get my piercing done within 15 minutes. Every step of the way, Lily made sure that I was comfortable and checked in on how I was feeling multiple times. I would highly recommend Lily if you’re looking to get a new piercing!

Wil did my Edgar Allan Poe Raven turned out just amazing, its my 2nd favorite tattoo, after my Phoenix.

Called several days in advanced to see if walk in are a ptsd and if an appointment would be necessary for the small tattoo I wanted. The lady I spoke too endured me taht Saturday afternoon they had many opening and would most definitely have time. I told them I would definitely be in Saturday afternoon. I made sure I was off work in time. Drive 45minutes to be told they couldnt do my small tattoo.I have many tattoos. I would never recommend this shop.Not to mention the place smelled like weed and was disorderly.

I had Lily do my lobe piercing and she was so nice and fun! I told her I was nervous and she made me feel very comfortable! My friends came as well and got piercings from Lily as well and they all had such a great experience. I would definitely recommend coming here for any piercings!

Ive had easily had over 100 hours with Jason. He did my entire sleeve and chest and stomach tattoos. His work and detailing are phenomenal! He is also very friendly and easy going dude. Ive always recommended him to others who complimented my tats and will continue to.

These people are very professional and work in a super clean environment (Will was teaching an employee how to clean their equipment). The pictures are 1 of 2 tattoos I got today. Alex was my artist and pieced together the flowers to make this masterpiece. He’s working on additions in his spare time for my next visit in 2 weeks.I highly recommend this place for any tattoo anyone wants to get. They also do piercings which I’m considering.

I got my first tattoo done by Jason, the owner, and it looks absolutely stunning!! He put a lot of time and effort into making sure it turned out nicely. Everyone there is super nice and really fun to talk to. Everything was very reasonably priced and all the work was done in a very timely manner. The tattooing process was very sanitary and he worked hard to make sure that I felt at-home while getting it done. I will definitely be returning for future tattoos

Took my niece to get her ears pierced, they were very nice. Very helpful, informative, and did great walking an eight year old through thr process.

Went here today with my daughter. Walk in surprise for her bday. We were welcomed by Wil and Lily. This little tattoo shop/piercing parlor is such a cozy chill place. Lily walked my 14 yr old thru her first piercing and made her comfortable. We will def be back for more. Pricing is on point. Better than some butler locations.

I have been in slippery rock for 3 years and have gone to multiple tattoo shops and this one is by far my favorite. The people here are so nice and great at what they do. I always feel very comfortable and welcomed. Only place I recommend around here.

Jason did an awesome job on my raptor tattoo! I love it! He was super cool and friendly and I got to hold a puppy while I was getting the work done. I refuse to go to any other artist now and I recommend him to everyone!
