Marvel Tattoo & Piercing

I got my nose pierced and forgot to get the name of the piercer. She was great! Walked me through everything I needed to know. The piercing was super quick. I am so happy with how it looks. There was no bleeding, minimal swelling and pain. It is healing so well. Also the store was clean and professional but they still seemed like they were having fun.

Ive gotten multiple piercings, and two tattoos from Marvel, and I have nothing but praise for this shop. They are very clean and professional, and Brooklyn, the artist Ive gotten both tattoos from, has done a a great job twice now! She assisted in designing both tattoos and is great with communication.

I have personally chosen Marvel for several of my own piercings, but today I trusted them with my little girl! We took our 6 year old to get her lobes pierced for her birthday. She said the girls made her feel very special and super cool (; Thank you ladies! They even gave her a PINK SPARKLY bag with her after care + some little trinkets that totally eased her after the piercing. Highly reccomend for first timers and enthusiasts alike.

Emilia did a fantastic job on my tattoos today. I have already told family and friends about her and Marvel Tattoo. I know she will be getting some business really soon, I will also be going back for other tattoos.

I went in to get a Naval piercing for my 16th birthday (walk in) and it went so smooth and was overall an amazing experience and I will go back for more. My blood sugar kept dropping when I stood up and I almost passed out a few times and the women there were so awesome and took care of me so well and were so nice. It looks awesome and the place was very clean.

My husband and I made an appointment for two small tattoos about a month prior. So when we both arrived early the customer service sucked as soon we walked into the business. Everyone just stares at you and no one introduces themselves. Then a young female employee behind the counter by the name Brooklyn said “Hi” in a rude tone. Almost like we were bothering her just by walking in. We communicated that we were there for our appointment and again she was snarky and rude. After we showed what we wanted (which was a small quote) she came back later and had the words completely wrong and after I pointed out she had it wrong she rolled her eyes and walked away. Once she returned she finally had the quote correct.Now I want to express here that I’m not wanting a grand entrance or anything special but when you are in a business interacting with the public you should hire people with interpersonal communication skills and make them feel welcome. This was by far not what we got from the moment we walked in to the time we left. During the tattoo appointment she didn’t talk to us or try to make conversation with us only kept speaking to the other tattoo artist next to her station. Which made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. We tried to talk to her and make conversation and she didn’t want anything to do with it. We tried to ask her about her golf cart tattoo and we went as far as trying to ease the unwanted tension with joining in on the conversation with her and her co worker. AGAIN she was incredibly rude and unprofessional.Our tattoos were both very small and Brooklyn still managed to miss a word in the quote. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TATTOO SHOP WHAT SO EVER. We will never be returning back and regret going. And we will be expressing the dissatisfaction with locals and else where.

Ive been going to Marvel for years. This time, my kiddo got his ears pierced. I wanted him to come here, especially for his first experience, because they always make you feel comfortable. The place is always super clean, and these folks here know what they are doing!

I had my tongue pierced at a different studio in the area. By the 2nd day, the swelling was out growing the bar they put in. On day 4 I was in so much pain that I called them to ask for a longer bar. They said they didn’t have any so I called around and found Marvel. Marvel switched the bar out for me and the relief was literally instant!! They said that the original bar (put in by the other studio) was even a bit shorter than a “healed” bar. I’m so glad marvel was able to help and I’ll definitely be back in the future!! They know this business. Highly recommend!!

I came in to get a matching tattoo with my sister and got charged $90 each for tattoos smaller than my pinky. The artist smelled bad and had no manners and the lines in my tattoo were to be scanned like a link, but are not straight so the code doesn’t work.

Got my lobes pierced here and the lady put the butterfly backs wayyyy too tight. I thought shed know that they obviously need room for swelling but she didnt know. I told her that and she said I was wrong... so a few days later they got super irritated and infected because of the tightness. I went to Body Art Gallery and told them I got them done at Marvel and they said almost everyone that goes to Marvel for a piercing goes to Body Art Gallery to fix their issues that Marvel caused... so yeah Im never going back to Marvel!

Little late on my review, but had to stop by and give a 5star rating, Esteban is an amazing tattoo artist. The detail in his work is literally perfect. So proud to show off my new tattoo! Thank you!

Made a quick appointment when in town to get some touch up work done on a piece I had done in FL. Dude was professional and fixed it up in short order making it look better than the original.

Super professional almost like going to the doctors office. I definitely would recommend it to anyone I know getting a piercing.

Impulsively came in to get my nose pierced, there was no wait, they had a lot of options for studs and the piercer Lexie was super helpful and made the experience bearable!! She did a great job too!

We were going to go to still house down the street to get our ears pierced but they didn’t have a piercer in on a really nice Saturday afternoon. Even though they say they take walk ins. But anyways so we went here and both of the girls were sooo nice and fun and not judgy at all. The girl who did our piercings was so nice and professional. Went through piercing care right before and made us feel very comfortable. Their prices are very reasonable. 25 for one lobe, 40 for 2 lobes, and 45 for a cartilage. Anyways! Highly recommend. Very clean as well.

I had a great experience here!! i came for a walk in septum piercing today and they got me in right away! the lady that did it (i wish i had caught her name) was so nice and comforting, because i was pretty nervous. it was very clean and professional, and very quick! thank you!! :))

This shop was very clean and all of the artists were very nice. We went for a bachelorette party and called beforehand and they were able to fit us in. We were seen by Esteban and he did amazing work on 6 tattoos for us. Would highly recommend this shop.

This is an excellent tattoo shop! I had Erika do a Darth Vader/ Ahsoka Tano tattoo on me. I absolutely loved it! She does great work and is a talented artist! I would highly recommend this business and her for all of your tattoo needs! I will definitely be bringing my business back!!

I would not recommend Anna ver heerden I went there to get my ear pierced by Anna, and she was very unprofessional and unsanitary about a week later since i got my ears pierced from her, it became infected, and i had to go to the hospital three times to get my ear, flushed out and looked at it got worse and worse as the days would come. I would highly not recommend this company to anybody that is looking to get a good tattoo or piercing very unprofessional staff and unsanitary inside the place. They did not make me feel welcomed and i got my ears pierced. They treat you like you’re nobody and all I seen was dirty gloves laying around, so God knows what else could be unsanitary in that place.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Went in on a whim and was able to get tattooed the same day. Larry comes highly recommended. I don’t know if I’ll ever get another tattoo but if I do, Larry and Marvel will be the ones to do it.

Got my nieces nose pierced here. I came back the same day and got my nose pierced. The staff was friendly. The environment was calm and clean. Both our piercings are healing well following after care advice

My husband and I just took our daughter here to get her ears pierced for the first time. I wish I could give ten stars, the staff was incredible. They were so sweet, they explained everything to my daughter before it happened, they kept her involved in the process, and they did it so quick. I have had three tattoos done here and 2 piercings and I am beyond thrilled with all of them. Not only did both of the artists do an amazing job at drawing up my designs, but the quality of work is excellent and priced fairly. I will definitely be coming back for more ink in the future.

Esteban had a last minute cancellation and was able to see my family and I for some tattoos last minute. He was amazing & did an excellent job. The other employees there were all very nice as well. Would definitely recommend Marvel & Esteban

My mom and I went here to get our ear lobes pierced. I called ahead with some questions about scheduling an appointment and their piercing procedure. We were both able to walk-in, choose a beautiful stud, and see our piercing artist, Anna, within 15 minutes. Anna was SO great. She was very precise about placement and made us feel at ease throughout the whole experience. It was also the best price in the area that I could find! I can’t recommend Marvel enough.

Ryan more than exceeded my expectations I flew in from Idaho. And had a great time while getting my tat done.

Anna is the greatest- shes done eyeliner top and bottom and eyebrows for my wife.Plus lots of piercings for the family! Will only go to her. Great friendly place!! Will be booking a tattoo there.

I got a piercing from here and it went amazing. I scheduled my appointment over the phone, called when I got there and was shown in right away. Anna Toner did my piercing and she was AMAZING. Ive had a very good experience here! The shop is very clean and professional, homely, the staff are polite, outgoing, friendly, and very considerate when it comes to new clients or just regulars in general. When I went to get my first tattoo I asked for Ryan, and he was very patient and considerate the whole time I was there for my appointment. I had a wonderful experience. Was in and out in 10 minutes. Very professional environment and very clean. Employees are very friendly. The lady that pierced my ear mare sure I liked where she would pierce my ear and did it so quick and it was almost painless. I love my helix piercing. Thank you, Marvel!!

Positives first: very clean environment in a great easy accessible location. Thats really the only postive thing I can say about this place.My artist of choice there was estaban. When we first started communicating it was through whatsapp which was in his bio on instagram. He was very responsive at first and I meet him the next day at the shop to discuss the design I wanted. Everything was good I set up an appointment a couple weeks in adavnce and put a deposit down which is non refundable.A couple of days after I set up my appointment I wanted to change my design I originally wanted. I called the shop and they said to stop in and talk to estaban and I did. He said to email him and he would let me know if the original price would change which was fine. So about a week went by and I sent a follow up email with no response. I then followed up AGAIN via email and no response again. Then the day before my appointment I then contacted him via whatsapp which was our original way of communication and NO RESPONSE, I had followed up 3 times vis email and 2 times through whatsapp and nothing Very unprofessional and lack of communication which is not okay to your customer base. I then did not show up for my appointment and FORFEITED my deposit of $50. Really had high hopes for marvel and sadly I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I had gotten my first piercing done here and they were very nice. the staff were very professional and did their job quickly and cleanly. i felt safe and i felt like the piercing instruments were safely sanitized. would go again for any more piercings in the future!

Too ridged are their appointment times they will only do piercings for minors on Saturday. That does not allow for any scheduling flexibility.

This place was recommended by a couple friends. I checked multiple places for the availability of this facility, all of which showed it being open on Sundays. I find it highly unprofessional to not use the means which they have (website and social media) to notify potential customers of being closed during their regular business hours. I read many reviews that stated customer service was poor even if the product was high quality. I will be taking my business elsewhere and I suggest others do the same.

Very satisfied from start to finish..the desk person was helpful and I made an appointment with Todd the owner for the following week. When I arrived Todd was prepared for my arrival and fours later I was very satisfied with the final results. Todd has tattooed for 20 years and certainly is a master of tattoo art..5 star rating....

My three tattoos have been done here at Marvel and Im absolutely in love with them! Todd is a talented tattoo artist and knows exactly what I want. Not to mention, the place is very clean and everyone who works there is super friendly. Ive even got my cartilage piercing done there as well and I have no complaints! Great place, great prices! I wont go anywhere else!

I had 3 piercings and a tattoo done the day I went. I even scheduled my next tattoo appointment. I was treated wonderful, I was nervous and because of covid-19 no one could be present with me. Bill is my Artist he talked to me and we got to know each other as he did my amazing art work. I will be returning to Bill soon for my next tattoo in just a few days.I recommend Marvel they are amazing.

Got nipple piercings!! Very clean, calm, relaxing environment. I was very nervous about getting the piercing just because and then with COVID I was extra nervous because I could not have friends inside with me. However, my piercer (sorry I dont remember her name) made me feel extremely comfortable and took really great care of me!! Definitely have recommended for my friends to come here as well!

Me and my wife got Logo tattoos from an anime called one piece. I had Larry working on both of us. He did exactly what we asked, and it didnt cost us a fortune.Friendly and outgoing staff. They took us in, and helped us through since it was our very first time.Clean venue, very professional attitude. The bathroom couldve been a little better but its clean though. Not much to complain. Great staff, very nice people and friendly artists.

Lexington has done both ny nose piercing and now my industrial bar. Neither of them were painful for she is a very skilled and cheerful piercing artist. I highly recommend going here for any body piercing you may want done. Very enjoyable experience!I have visited with the tattoo artist there as well and am looking forward to working with Bill in August!

I recently had a tattoo done by Ryan and could not be happier with the outcome! Not only did he incorporate everything I wanted into the design, he added in little touches that really make the piece pop. I have a few other tattoos that I got done out of state and I have got to say, hands down, it was the best experience thus far...from start to finish. And waiting a month for my appointment was more than worth the wait!

Took my daughter to get her ears pierced. Staff was very friendly. They were very patient as my daughter picked jewelry out. Very gentle and easy going with her ( it was her 1st piercing and 1st time in a tattoo shop). Prices are decent...would recommend people go there for piercing/tattoo needs!

I got my 1st tattoo by Larry I cant stress this enough how professional this man was ig its a bad idea to not eat before getting a tat and I have bad anxiety so I kinda almost passed out on the floor but they gave me a sugar pill and water so I was good to go I apologize for the wait he said dont stress its ok it happens and he gave me Good coping skills during the tattoo so I dont freak out. If I get any more tattoos Ill get them here

Marvel is by far my favorite tattoo shop in this area, they are extremely professional when it comes to their work but also great company to be around! All of the artists do amazing work and are all very talented. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get a tattoo or piercing! I highly recommend them to anyone that asks for a recommendation.

Excellant clean space. Staff very kind and answered all questions. Welcoming environment. When asked about UV/black light reactive ink artist was honest and upfront. I had a tattoo done last summer, (about 8ish months ago) with Whitey and it has healed great and the tattoo is amazing. I will be coming back to him for sure to add on to it! Seriously one of the best experiences I had with an artist. I would recommend anyone to this shop. I have only heard the highest respect for any artist who works here.

Called ahead and asked about jewelry options. Showed up and tried to purchase rings after I told the lady on the phone wed come in and look. Only to find out all 3 people in store were doing tattoos and couldnt help me. So I basically drove there for nothing. I even called the store while I waited in the lobby thinking maybe someone in the back was available and just didnt know we were there. Got dial tone. They turned the phones off! How rude...

I’ve had 8 piercings done here all by Anna and a tattoo by bill. My boyfriend also went with me and a got a tat by bill too! Everything all turned out great. Very very very clean!! The absolute ONLY place I will go to get all of my tattoos done. Ryan Adams is very professional, spends time to listen to what you want and never makes you feel like your tattoo is stupid or like he’s not going to waste his time on small projects. As he was doing my half sleeve, several people came in to speak to him about potential tattoos. He was very kind to every person. We did a four hour session starting on a half sleeve that will soon be turned into a whole sleeve. This tattoo was a very emotional contribution to my father that I lost two years prior. Ryan took my ideas and drew out an amazing tattoo. He was very kind and made this tattoo as heartfelt and as meaningful as he could. I’m beyond grateful that I had him do this tattoo for me because I honestly don’t think anyone else could’ve come close to doing a better job. I will be back to see Ryan for the top half of this sleeve without a doubt. Thank you Ryan for making this tattoo experience amazing!!!

I had a really great experience here with 3 other family members. We were getting memorial tattoos for our grandma. All of us are from out of town and were staying in Cassopolis MI. We picked Marvel based on reviews. The prices were great, the artists were fantastic and the tattoo studio was EXTREMELY clean. The experience was awesome and even though I live 3 hours away, I visit often enough in Dowagiac, which is much closer, Marvel will be my go to for tattoos. Ryan was my personal artist and he was so awesome. I love my tattoo and he was easy to talk to and super nice. My cousins also loved their artists.

Super clean, friendly, knowledgeable and fast. My piercing artist (tiny, slender lady, think her name was Cassie?) was so good and knew EXACTLY the piercing I needed-especially type and length perfect for my nose. Love this place!

I called ahead to see if they had an appointment for a couple of quarter size tattoos. I was told by the person who answered the phone that they were booked for appointments but that they would take walk ins....for anything hand size or smaller. I specifically stated that I wouldnt be able to get there until 4:30-5:00PM. The person at Marvel stated ok. So....after driving from Nappanee....we get turned away being told they are a filled up now. I love driving in rush hour traffic hurrying the best I could...just to be told too bad...basically.The last time my daughter came here for a piercing it was a hassle as well.... because of our drivers licenses haaving a different address. That wasnt a problem when we came in not too long before that for a different piercing. Seriously....wont bother with them again.....very unprofessional. Thanks for nothing.

Went in as a walk in, they were very nice about finding me a time slot.Very clean and professional, nice atmosphere, everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Whitey did my work. I just love the place, its very clean and recently remodeled and it looks awesome. I get all my piercings down here mostly by Anna Toner who is absolutely awesome . Also all of my most recent tattoos from Ryan, his work is awesome and he always takes the time to work with me on what I want and hes always honest and wont just tattoo me because I want it, he will explain why it wont work or should be in different location . Just an awesome place to go.

I went there for a Rook piercing in my ear. I loved it. The staff was super knowledgeable and even though I was nervous, it went great! Very quick and thorough. I could tell that they knew what they were doing! I will be back!! Maybe for another tattoo!!

Not a good visit today. Wife called and scheduled a piercing for today, asked of she needed any extra ID due to her (my) last name being different than her daughter...was told no. 40 mile drive, 15 minutes waiting for a ring tone (must call before entering) only to see the phone picked up and hung up! Only to be denied service because...the names dont match.First time for a bad visit, but it will certainly curtail my future expenditures.Theyre going back next weekend.

Ive been going to Marvel for the last 8 years. You cant go wrong with anyone at the shop. Ive gotten almost all of my tattoos from Ryan, piercings from Anna and Rebecca, and Rebeccas also done my eyeliner. I highly recommend this shop for your tattoo and piercing needs.

I went in fir a consultation a few weeks prior. My artist and I had a brief discussion and he seemed to have a plan. When I came in he unfortunately seemed to of forgotten our plan! Which of course made me nervous, but I trusted him. I gave him my concept again, a picture and within 45 minutes I had a tattoo I didnt even anticipate and I am in love. The coloring is perfect, 3 days after the tattoo I have zero discomfort. The swelling has gone down, which is expected overall, and I couldnt be happier.

Just recently got my second tattoo done by Ryan at Marvel, and it was a very pleasant experience. Fast, friendly and very professional with everyone there being incredible to deal with. As long as I live in the area, Ill be going back here and recommending others do as well. Best shop in the area by far.

I came here on my 18th birthday to get my second and third lobe piercings. I was a little nervous as I have never been pierced with a free hand needle (Ive gotten two other piercings, both of which were guns). I had called a week prior and asked about pricing, the girl I talked to was very friendly and down to earth. She gave me the necessary information, and she spoke to me as if she was an old friend, while still maintaining a professional attitude.When I arrived I was greeted with a friendly welcome and smiles. I was surprised to see how clean and relaxing the atmosphere was. I told them I was there to get my ears pierced and they asked for my ID, promptly wished me a happy birthday, and handed me the consent forms. As I filled them out, the girl told me she would go back to prep the room. I browsed the tattoo designs as I waited and she came out to get me and my boyfriend. We went back to the piercing room, which resembled a doctors office, but frankly was WAYYY cleaner. All her tools were kept on a medical tray. She marked my ears with a toothpick and loose ink (seemed much more sanitary than a permanent marker). Then she took out the needles, wrapped individually with the each earring. I was soooo nervous but she was very nice, calming, and conversational. She put the needle to my ear, had me take a seal breath, and next thing I know she was done! It was amazing. Barely any pain at all, just a slight poke. I was shocked! I havent had any issues since!! They are barely sore, I havent had much gunk around the piercings like Ive had in the past. All around the expert has been GREAT!! I will definitely be back to Marvel!!!

Amazing, super friendly, neat facility with awesome artists (thanks so much Todd & Steven)! Todd did my watercolor wolf tattoo on my upper arm about a year ago and just touched it up for me today. Though the wolf was my first tattoo, Todd was very patient with me last year and gave me a stunning tattoo that healed beautifully. My second tattoo I got was an ink paw print of my recently passed dog. Steven did this for me on my lower calf. He traced the paw print exactly like the original and looks exactly how I pictured it. Again, excellent work! Will definitely be back for my third tattoo before the summer is out. Thanks so much, guys!

I went in Saturday January 18, 2020 and got my conch pierced. Afterwards the piercing was fine and I wasn’t in much pain, I woke up Monday morning and my ear felt like it was on fire. Today I went to my local shop and they told me it was severely infected one of the worse they’d ever seen in their time. Marvel didn’t use a long enough bar for the swelling and most likely didn’t use sterile tools. I would give them zero stars if I could the customer service was not very great either! I now have to go get a round of antibiotics just to clear up they’re messy work! I do not recommend this place for piercings!

In and out in less than 10 mins, the assistant that helped me was kind and considerate. I got both ears pierced and she gave me advice for when I want to get gauges.

They give you the WRONG aftercare advice. THREE of my piercings i’ve had there in a row (within a span of months) have been infected. my friends piercings have gotten infected within days of getting it done, because of the wrong aftercare. they tell you to move the f r e s h piercing around, and anyone who has piercings knows this leads to infections. they tell you to use soap, which is not correct at all either. then before they said to clean the piercings with salt water, which also leads to infections. my other two piercings done by a different shop has never gotten infected. they also change their aftercare advice a lot, which seems pretty sus. My advice is don’t go here for piercings, and if you do, PLEASE do notlisten to their aftercare, do your research on aftercare. (it’s literally just rinsing with saline/wound wash)

Marvel Tattoo is a great place to get a tattoo. First off, it’s clean. Everybody working there is friendly and seems to know what they are doing. Larry Bone did my tattoo. It was quick and looks great. If I’m ever looking to get another, this will be the place I go to.

The shop is nice and clean. Much bigger than it looks from the street. The piercing room was very clean and smelled of sanitizer. Prices are about normal on piercing. $30or 35 for my nose piercing with the jewelry. Piercer was very friendly and coached all the way thru the process. Very nice establishment and people.

I wrote an email asking about daith piercings and received an email a few minutes later. It was an automatic email saying that it takes the staff some time to answer emails and it would be better to go to the shop itself. I recommend that you go ask questions personally or call.Rebecca greeted me and answered all my questions on the spot. She was very helpful, friendly and courteous. She professionally took care of my daith piercing. She kept the area and herself clean while she did the piercing. When it was done she gave me her card with her contact info and a helpful aftercare sheet. I would for sure go back for a piercing!Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend visiting the shop for piercings!

Stopped by 20 minutes before close to a locked door and was told i can’t purchase a new septum ring to replace the one that just broke, because the guy behind the counter “only does tattoos”. in all fairness he was counting down the drawer but i would have paid by card. got my septum done here and planned on coming for a tattoo, not anymore.

I’ve had all my piercings and my tattoo done here and they were very professional. They made sure I was comfortable and waited for me to be ready before they started. They definitely care about the clientele that comes in!

I went here twice. once for my first upper cartilage piercing and a second for another 2 cartilage right below. my first piercing was anna, who explained everything well and within a month or so my piercing was healed, without pain, and easy to change. the second time i went a different lady pierced my ear. the two piercings i got were a nightmare. she pierced them too close together and were pierced at an angle rather than straight through. the center one never healed and i had to take it out after about 9 months because it was so painful. i kept the bottom one even though it was hard to wear jewelry in it. i got these in april of last year and it is now march. the bottom piercing STILL gives me trouble and i can only wear studs in it since it’s angled. it’s been a year and i still find it often being extremely sore, especially after sleeping on it. i went to this place because i thought i was making an investment in paying more for my piercing, but it turns out i just paid for $70 worth of trouble.

Was disappointed that my daughter wanted her first tattoo but were rude and didn’t want to do what she wanted never going back

I absolutely love this place! I go here specifically for all of my piercings. They only have females that do their piercings, that makes me more comfortable having a girl do my piercings. Never had any complaints!

I got my nipples pierced by Lexie. She was very thorough about what she was going to do and how it was going to be done. It was pretty painless and very quick. Very sanitary. If ur looking to get it done I recommend you do ur research I think its very helpful. Ppl do say its painful but for me it wasnt really painful. I would recommend doing it and going here.

1pm missed appointment.Showed up 15 min early to the appointment, the artist was obviously in middle of another tattoo. Waited for a half hour pretty obvious double booked. They said we werent in the computer but had a slip with original call and tattoo design. I called the artist and spoke with him and emailed the shop 2 werks early (the receptionist was able to pull up my email the artist had not done this yet..)Refunded

I really liked my industrial piercing from November 2017, until I realized that the earring I got from them wasnt long enough to be productive towards the healing of my ear. Now, the piercing that Ive been wanting since 2008 is just one hole because a year later I had to have 2 separate piercings so they could heal correctly... one of them didnt heal correctly. I wish that would have known to have a longer industrial barbell to help my ear heal in the correct way...

My fiancé and I have been coming to Marvel frequently for a while now. I had tried a few different shops before that I had disliked and I thought I finally found the one place who had gotten it right. But tonight, Rebecca was to pierce my vertical labret. Rebecca has done the majority of my piercings and I absolutely adore them but this piercing ended up being crooked and just not quite right. Noticing that it wasnt how it seemed, my fiancé called the shop to express our concern and was told to tell me to let it heal and we can do it over. It is to my understanding that they said we would have to pay again, from what I could hear from my place away from the phone. So at this point I was like mistakes happen, this can be fixed but Im still upset,yknow? So we went elsewhere to get a second opinion and see if it really was crooked or if I was delusional. The piercing was crooked and unsatisfactory so we had it removed, because who would want to go around with something they didnt enjoy on their face? After getting it removed, we returned to Marvel to speak with Rebecca and she didnt seem keen on speaking to us. She refused to admit it was crooked, told us she couldnt redo it because somebody else took it out, blamed the appearance on the swelling although the holes are visibly crooked, and didnt offer us any other options. It was a slap to the face to be treated this way by one of our favorite stores to visit. We frequent Marvel more than any other place we travel to, and it was one of my all time favorites until tonight when I was made to feel at fault for something that easily could have been dealt with without all of these tears and the drama. Im very disappointed that someone I looked up to has let me down tonight. I still have the highest respects for the shop as a whole and their cleanliness and knowledge, Im just very hurt at the customer service tonight and I dont think I will be returning. 40 dollars down the drain and now I have a splinter in my heart.

42 and 1st piercing ever. Im not the type of person that does this kind of thing and it was a huge leap. The woman was very kind and very good at what she does. Im sorry I yelped in her face when she shoved that huge needle into my flesh... Lol. I was in and out in less that 20 minutes and I was back at work like nothing happened. Fantastic place!

To date, my wife has had two tattoo sessions and a sub-dermal piercing/implant and Ive had a tattoo fixed (inked in areas erred by a previous artist) and all experiences have been positive. The artists name is Stefan. He is very friendly and accommodating. I have received several tattoos over the years and they all HURT. For some magical reason, this Stefan guy makes tattoos barely painful...he is an excellent artist, works very fast, and again, he has the lightest touch Ive ever experienced in a tattoo artist....but he saturates color perfectly and his line work is straight and impressive. Top notch work that I would recommend to anyone...especially first timers afraid of the pain factor. Stefan is AWESOME. Im going back in today to start a sleeve!

Ive been going there since I was 17 years old which is when I got my first tattoo with my parents approval and Im now 23 Ive gone there for every piercing I have and almost every tattoo theyve done a fantastic job on all of my piercings and tattoos I even created one of my tats and it looks spot on like the drawing couldnt be happier

The girl who pierced my lip back in october used the wrong sized studs to pierce with! Then they refused to help me change them out as i couldnt get them out myself. Now in the end one of my piercings rejected and the other causes me pain all the time. Would never get pierced here again.

These guys made an appointment called me back canceled the appointment and scheduled another. I was dropped off at the time of the appointment only to find out that the gentleman that made the appointment wasnt working that day. Have been here several times for piercings and everything time the lady that has helped me was wondering. Even got a piercing out of town and they used a smaller needle the same lady even helped me change out both rings. I wish I knew her name. She not only been helpful but kind every visit.

Go down the road another mile or so towards niles, customer service is bad, do not go here for piercing accessories (took me 5 tries to get a pair of 14G bars that were the same length and even then they were all different lengths and I gave up on trying to get the right size) nearly every person in my family has had issues with this parlor in the past be it sub par piercings/tattoos, including myself so please do yourself a favor and drive another what 10 minutes to the parlor in niles
