First tattoo! Treated myself for my 31st birthday. Helena was a dream! So sweet and easy to connect with, such a warm presence. She made this experience so enjoyable. My first words after seeing the final product were “I feel like this was always supposed to be here!” A true artist and a delightful person! 10/10

Jimmy was such a pleasure to work with! It was my first time visiting this shop. The shop was bubbling with positive energy, especially on a busy day for shops being Friday the 13th. Signing in for an appointment is a smooth and easy process. Jimmy was able to make sure I got exactly what I wanted, and executed an excellent job. The space is clean, offers snacks and water and filled with fabulous art to look at while you wait. Kuddos to y’all! 🫶🏼

Mike went above and beyond to make sure my tattoo design was perfect. From start to finish, he was kind, patient and made me feel very relaxed while getting my tattoo. Seaport Tattoo is a great spot to get something that will be permanently on your body!

My best friend and I were a walk in appt this past Saturday to get our first matching tattoo. They were so friendly, accommodating, and the shop was really cool. Helena was our artist and she was the best! She was super, knowledgeable, fun and had some great insight and advice helping us with this process. She made us feel super comfortable as first timers and made the whole experience so memorable. We will definitely be back to see her for our next tattoos! Came in to look at some flashes and was able to get tattooed the same day. Great experience, Mike has some awesome art and he does an excellent job. Mike Ouellette is awesome! He took me and 3 friends who all wanted matching tattoos and did EXACTLY what we asked for even tho we were all super indecisive at first. He was patient and offered his insight but also assured us that he wanted to make sure we were comfortable with the placements/sizing before starting. Highly recommend him and this shop!

You know what’s even better than being absolutely in love with your new tattoo? When the artist was equally as stoked about it. Mike Ouellette’s work has been on my mind, so glad I finally got to Seaport Tattoo Company today. The shop is gorgeous, clean, staff were super friendly and Mike was beyond phenomenal. I had such a great time!!! I got my upper lobes and helix pierced by Maya. She was so sweet and made me so comfortable. I’ve wanted to get these since I was a teenager and I couldn’t be happier. Maya explained every step of the step of the process, she showed me all different types of jewelry and different spots to see where I would like them best. My helix didn’t hurt at all. The tattoo shop is massive and so bright! I was greeted right away and offered a drink and snacks. I can’t wait to get my next ear piercing. Thank you Maya!!!

Got my first professional tattoo here from Mike and I had a great experience! The shop is cozy and clean and I felt very comfortable :) Parking was slightly annoying but that comes with the territory. Definitely going back for more ink!

The location is convenient. Its been many years since I got my tattoo here (2017) and Im in the process of getting it lasered off now... a small tattoo with delicate line work that totally blew out as it aged without weight gain or loss, just really aggressive needling. Photo is original when tattood, how it aged and progress a year and half in of lasering.

Called aug 3 for a walk in, the lady I talked to was very kind and told me to come in at 5. Got a metallica/kill em all tattoo done by Mike. He was very creative and threw out ideas of how to make the tattoo cool and unique. Im very happy with my tattoo, still waiting for it to heal. Awesome line work and shading.great price. Will definitely be back for more tats when Im in the area again. Thank you guys! 🤘🤘

Maya is great for piercings! My best friend, partner and I all wanted to go in for different piercings, so I set up several appointments through the website. Maya was really thorough at walking us through the process, from helping us pick jewelry to explaining the aftercare. Maya was also just super friendly in general and even offered drinks and snacks while we were there, great customer service experience over all. I absolutely plan to come back for more piercings later!

Im from out of state & came to boston on my birthday and wanted a tattoo on a whim. originally was just trying to find a spot with a decent artist that can fit me in their schedule & i thankfully came across this shop Helena was amazing from the hospitality and kindness as well as her passion and talent 10000/10 will definitely be going back

Piercer was very professional and nice but you could tell she was a little impatient -- when she put her markings of where the piercing would go, I mentioned that it wasnt where I had expected but she didnt offer to remark them. I prefer piercing experiences where the piercer is super open and we have a back-and-forth of discussing placement - I never want to feel bad or like Im inconveniencing someone when Im making a decision about a change to my body.Otherwise, the shop was super nice and everything was very clean. I would still recommend it -- but just be prepared and know exactly what you want.

They have snacks and drinks in the front while your waiting. They also have a pool table that your allowed to play. The piercing itself took less than a minute. Overall an amazing experience

I always feel like I get the deluxe experience. Helena at the front desk is lovely. Jimmy runs a tight shop. I always recommend this place to people when they are looking to get work done. The skills of the tattoo artists are some of the best in the city.

I wanted a great black and gray photorealism tattoo for my kids and I found mark. I knew tattooing hands can be tricky and mark blew it out of the park. Im blown away with the results of this tattoo. the staff was nice. the shop was clean and well maintained. overall best shop iv ever been in. Id recommend this place and mark to anyone that looking for an amazing tattoo!

A little on the pricey side but if your looking for a quality tat that you will be happy with then its very much worth it. Mark dod my tat and he made my idea come to life.

My son actually found Seaport Tattoo online and I took him for his first tattoo. He had Stef and I couldn’t have been happier. She was so kind and helped me to get through it lol and Oh my son too!! Lol He recently turned 18 and I wanted to make sure he didn’t regret what he got. Honestly everyone in the tattoo parlor was so friendly and we felt at home to be honest. Not to mention his tatt came out perfect. I made my appointment that day to see Mike the following week. I have about 8 tattoos and the one Mike did for me is on a whole different level. I couldn’t be any happier. Not to mention he has a great personality also and he did an amazing job and he also was great at keeping my mind off the pain, cuz I am a total wimp. I wish I knew about this place years ago!! It’s not like any of the other places I have been to, not by a long shot!! If you really care about how your tatt comes out then Seaport Tattoo is where you want to go. They even have a pool table table not that I had a chance to play cuz Mike and Stef were both right on schedule.

He has a passion for tattooing and extensive knowledge on all things American Traditional. He paints some rad flash and is always down to work with you on unique original ideas. Today he did a really dope cover up piece and it came out great this is the second piece he has done for me that is a cover up and Im stoked on them both. I will definitely be visiting Mike again for more!

I couldnt be happier with my tattoo from Mike. From the start, he made me feel comfortable and gave me the freedom to choose any design elements. Mike made sure the tattoo was perfect and his workstation was extremely clean. The pricing is reasonable for the size of the tatoo and he has offered a free touch up if I need it. Great artist and great shop!

This is a top notch shop. I have been getting tattooed for 30 years. I have leg, chest, back tatoos and am sleeved on the other arm so I speak from a well educated position. Jimmy Johnson was my artist and we just clicked. I gave him a small amount of direction and trusted his discretion. To me, this is the best way. He is the artist. I just have a statement I want to make. He fulfilled the task well. I was hungry when I got there and asked him if he wanted something to eat. I usually do this with anyone working on me or for me. At other shops, when the invitation is given to the artist they go around and take orders from everyone in the shop so as to take advantage of my generosity. The exact opposite happened here. Jimmy ordered lunch for me, him and a guy that was at one time his apprentice. Well this time Jimmy bought lunch and it wasnt some crappy Burger King either. I also had a headache so Jimmy provided ibuprophen and water. Later, he ordered coffee from Dunkin Donuts and offered to buy that for me too. The hospitality in this shop is unmatched, it is simply without parallel in the tattoo world. I posted a picture of the work so you can judge for yourself. I saw several others finished work while I was there and every bit of it was Top Notch.

This is one of the nicest, friendliest and professional shops Ive been to. I know about the shop because Mike Oulette (one of the artists) had done tattoos for me at his previous shop. I love working with him because he is kind, patient and collaborative. He makes everyone feel comfortable, and has such a gentlehand my tattoos he has done for me always heal amazing. I have referred many folks to him and they always have an amazing experience. Seaport Tattoo is a great shop, but Mike is one of the best tattoo artists Ive ever worked with. What a fantastic experience!!! Got my first tattoo today and the entire process at Seaport Tattoo was just incredible. Mike is awesome, and as he started the inking process, it just got me more and more hype. The design is flawless!!! Jimmy was incredible from start to finish for my latest tattoo. The shop is modern, clean, and welcoming and the team is awesome. I gave him an abstract idea of what I wanted and we worked together to finalize the design - I couldn’t be more thrilled with how it came out! 2.5 hours of laughs, careful work, and professional design later, I have a new piece of art I am obsessed with. Butchered my back & am looking at removal or cover up options minutes after leaving. Worst tattoo I’ve ever gottenArtist proceeded to blame me and said it was my fault for moving, which is a lie obviously (mind you I have two very big pieces that are great on my body and am no stranger to tattoos). No remorse or pride in his work & then also proceeded to say I was going about this “femininely” by posting a review. A McDonald’s drive through worker requires more professionalism than this man and do not understand how he was hired.

Exceptional. Jimmy Johnson is a master tatoo artist and professional. He took my spark of a vision and created a masterpiece. He has a clear understanding of the importance / significance of the tatoo experience for a client...great convo (and knew when time to focus), great music, and hospitality. The studio was cool, clean...great energy. He completed a very complex piece (IMO) with perfection, care, and determination. I completely recommend this five star company (Jimmy, Helena...thank you). I hope they share my tatoo...but I will leave it to their discretion. Magnificent.

My friend made an appointment to change a piercing ring and I was just going to be there for support but Leah was so warm, supportive and fun when she greeted us that I decided to get my 3rd Earring holes done too. We went in one at a time and Francis was awesome. He made you feel like his new best friend and made sure you knew what he was doing with each step for the piercing. Some tattoo shops/ piercing parlors can be intimidating but everyone here was simply awesome. I’d absolutely go back when I decide what I want to do next.

Two of my friends and I came in for a walk in. Me and one friend were told the wait for tattoos was about three hours and agreed to it. Other friend got a piercing and was able to be helped immediately Francis was very funny and professional and did a great job on her conch.Got notified an hour in advance for our walk-in time with a text from an actual employee (not an automated system) who was very responsive! Owner Jimmy was fast and very professional with our tattoos. He gave us lots of sizes to pick from and made sure we were comfortable. They also gave us a sample of their aftercare lotion!All around had a fantastic experience for a very reasonable price given the quality and professionalism. I would highly recommend Seaport to anyone looking for piercings or tattoos!!! I will never be going anywhere else in the Boston area!Note: if you want to get a walk in tattoo that day I’d recommending heading in right after opening so you’re at the top of the list. :)

I did my first tattoo yesterday afternoon with Bruno - Great artist who made the process super easy & did an overall great job on the tattoo in general.I would highly recommend & the entire shop as a whole was very professional!They will give you text message updates as your appointment gets closer.Also- Bruno did a great job explaining the healing process & what to expect until the tattoo has completely healed! Something I greatly appreciated, as I have little to no knowledge about tattoos!

I got my tragus pierced with Francis today, hes awesome! The piercing went so smoothly and Im so happy with how it turned out. He calmed me down and was super sweet and easy to talk to. Definitely go to him if you want any piercings done!!

Charged me $200 for a tattoo no bigger than a business card (it was literally a name) I’ve never in my life been charged so much for something so small. Not sure if they robbed me cause I was black or cause I was a tourist but either way, it was a shady thing to do. I paid it of course and was still very sweet and nice but it was honestly so disrespectful. And they didn’t bother discussing after care, making sure I had products I may have needed, literally nothing was discussed.

This artist goes on Facebook marketplace randomly telling people he will tattoo them for a MacBook or iPad or iPhone that they are selling 😆.Yup , he really thinks somebody in the world would sell their sealed expensive apple item for a spontaneous tattoo from him.When confronted about how ludicrous of an offer that is he gets offended and asks to fight and calls you names. Ironically enough r.e.a.l stands for …. “respect everyday”.I would steer clear of getting inked by Mr. Reggie

I got tattooed by Jimmy and had a nose piercing cleaned/fixed by Francis...had an amazing experience both times! The shop is super clean and everyone is extremely nice and professional. My tattoo healed perfectly and I couldn’t be happier. I forgot my wallet when getting my piercing fixed, and Francis super graciously allowed me to come back and pay for it. I was so embarrassed but he put me at ease and was really nice about it. Will definitely be coming back for any and all future piercing/tattoo needs! Highly recommend for anyone from first timers to those with experience.

I got a sternum tattoo from Mike Graciale and he did an amazing job. The staff were so kind and the place looks very clean. Mike sought out my opinion every step of the way and was respectful of me the entire time. I love the way it came out. As a young woman getting tattooed in a semi-intimate area I felt very safe. I would definitely feel comfortable coming back for another tattoo.

I couldnt recommend working with Mike and Seaport Tattoo more. He has done my full arm over a series of about 5 sessions. Not only is his work incredible, but he creates a fun and relaxed environment that puts you at ease. Great tattoos and a great guy!

I was in town for work and my helix piercing came out and I lost it. I didn’t have a replacement earring and I didn’t want it to close up, so I desperately tried to find a place nearby. Kallie was so amazing! Not only did she squeeze me in between her appointments, but she was extremely nice and talked through the whole process (since there was a chance my piercing could’ve closed up). She was very gentle even though my ear was super swollen and gave great advice for how to help with the swelling. I may not be a local but I 100% recommend Kallie for any piercings!! She takes all the stress out of the situation.

After the amazing service I received from Seaport, I felt somewhat obligated to leave this review. The customer service is amazing. The people here are very friendly and helpful. The environment is very spacious, clean, and appropriate. Francis did a great job of informing me of the risk factors and gave detailed directions to help me maintain my piercing. There is truly nothing bad I can say about this establishment and it’s service.

I had my septum pierced by Kallie who is in her apprenticeship! She was so amazing I had to come write a review. Super sweet, well trained, knowledgeable, and skilled. If you’re thinking about having her do a piercing for you go for it! I will be coming back to her in the future for more 😊 my septum ring is placed and sized perfectly.

I had my septum pierced by Francis on June 19. Ive wanted a septum piercing for forever, but I was still anxious to get it since of course it would hurt. Francis was so kind and nice, he relieved the majority of my anxiety. He was quick and professional and nice, and did a top notch job. Im for sure getting all my future piercings done by him.

I cant say enough great things about my experience with Mike. He was professional, friendly and we had great conversations. The work he did for me was phenomenal. I went here after work one day for my first tattoo and was SO impressed!! I am not one to write reviews, but my experience here was a 10 out of 5. I was concerned about going somewhere that I did not have a personal reference from, but my experience was better than I could have asked for. The staff was extemely friendly, and immediately made me feel comfortable being there. Mike Graciale was the tattoo artist, who was AWESOME and you could tell he knew what he was talking about. He provided recommendations to me to ensure my new Lobster would stay looking fresh. Overall amazing customer service and quality. DEFINITELY recommend going here!!!!

They did a good job but the guy made me feel very unwelcomed and he was very impatient with me. I’m used to feeling comfortable at tattoo places and having really awesome artists that are super kind but I’ll never be going back because not only was the guy super grumpy, it was way overpriced!! Especially for the small tattoos I got! Their starting price is $100 and it’s pretty ridiculous. I got a bigger and better tattoo for way less at another place so I’m kinda disappointed.

Got a tattoo done by Mike the other day and not only did he do a fantastic job, but he actually kept a conversation going with me for the entire 4.5 hour session — normally I end up scrolling through my phone during tattoos to keep myself distracted, but I didn’t have to at all during the appointment. Mike is an amazing artist, and he is very hygienic and clean, which is so important. The tattoo shop itself is also the coolest shop I’ve been to, and I’ve been to a lot! The lobby is full of art, it has a pool table, and really cool t-shirt designs. The cool dude at the front desk offered me food/drinks several times, even during the appointment, which is super helpful when you’ve been getting tattooed for several hours and your blood sugar is getting low! I definitely plan on coming back to Mike for more tattoos in the future.

Me and a couple of friends made an appointment to get tattoos for St. Patricks day this past weekend and we were not disappointed at all! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we had a great experience! Everyone is very professional and so welcoming. Jimmy Johnson did my tattoo (pair of Red Sox on my left arm) and of course its perfect. We are from Texas and we will definitely be back up for some more ink! Thank you guys ❤🍀

I went to Seaport Tattoo two years ago for the first time, and got a relatively small black and red tattoo (3x2). At the time, the receptionist said they had only been open a few months and were aiming to be a premier tattoo location in Boston - I immediately worried about how much it was going to run me, but it was very reasonably priced. Because I had such a nice experience two years ago, I went back for my new tattoo, and I was just as happy with the environment and product. For the second time, I didnt feel like I was being taken for a ride price-wise, and they made the environment very welcoming; everyone is very friendly, they provide water/soda and snacks if youre waiting and theres a pool table in the waiting area.Id recommend STC to anyone.

Great service! Got a nose ring in Hawaii and it came out. I couldn’t put it back in myself so I googled and seen the 5 star reviews and I’m glad I made the right choice. It was like the same professional service I received in Hawaii. Nice clean, safe environment and was very educational. Not only I recommend but will definitely go back to get my other nostril pierced or maybe change my nose ring to a hoop next time.

Amazing place, I got a navel piercing, Maya did it and to be honest she was the sweetest, I was so nervous and she was very patient and kind I loved the result, I also bought a new piercing for my nose and she helped me putting it on, the staff was so nice, they even offered snacks and drinks while you wait, definitely coming back.

After searching and searching and doing research on various artist throughout MA...I settled on Seaport Tattoo. I really liked the portfolios from Seaport from all the artists but , what I saw out of Brunos portfolio on IG really caught my eye, so I gave him a shot. Man I picked a winner. Bruno is the absolute man. He really cares about his work and his art and I am ridiculously happy about the work that I had done by him. A real artist that grinded from the ground up and has perfected his craft. His lines , detail, highlights , shading, coloring and basically eveything is next level. Cant recommend Seaport Tattoo enough! I have been wanting to add to my memorial tattoo for a while; researched many area artists. Finally found Mark Vata @vata.vision_ink; he is new to the shop but I just loved his style and strong art background. Very easy to communicate with and was able to book an appointment within a week. He did the most phenomenal job; really took his time and it is just perfect. He is super talented and Im thrilled to showcase his gorgeous botanical monarch forever.

Mike Graciale did exactly what I asked him to do and produced the very detailed tattoo I was looking for. I waited 7 years until I found the right person to do it. My new tattoo well surpassed my expectations because of how precise the artist needed to be to accurately transport the exact design onto human skin (he nailed size and placement as well). Wanted to post this now before I forgot. Jimmy is an incredible artist. I’ve been to him 3 times now and each time his skills amaze me. Great guy too. Makes sure I’m comfortable. He’s tattooed painful areas on my body (shoulder, neck, arm hole etc) but keeps me laughing the whole time to distract me from the pain. The shop is kept in immaculate condition. Jimmy and the rest of the staff create an atmosphere that rises above other local tattoo shops!

A couple weeks ago my wife and I went to Seaport Tattoo so she could get a small piece commemorating a hospital journey our twin daughters went through. After doing some research and calling around, my wife was set on Seaport Tattoo from the beautiful work displayed by the artists, as well as the pleasant demeanor of the office manager on the phone. Upon arrival we were greeted by owner/artist Jimmy, who was fantastic. He was very friendly and patient while my wife picked out a font, even offering up artistic advice on dos and donts for the piece. His work was flawless, and my wife and I were very impressed with the cleanliness of his shop. We had a great experience with Jimmy and would definitely return to Seaport Tattoo. A+

Went in and was treated rude. Had my design all picked out so I thought it would be pretty easy. In my 60s so j guess I didn’t natter. Was told to call to set up an appointment. After 4 calls ( nobody ever answers ) and messages i give up. 2 friends had similar experiences with them. Terrible way to do business

I came with my four friends and they accommodated all of us and gave us free snacks before and after and even provided phone chargers!! I did a lot A LOT of research before getting work done but it has been all worth it a year into my sleeve. I’ve come back multiple times for Ashley, who’s work is unique, detailed, and flat out amazing. My pieces are coming along so much better than I could have hoped. Ashley always takes my ideas and makes them even better and I am constantly getting compliments on my ink. Everyone here is super friendly and they make you feel comfortable with a laid back fun environment. They’re always offering snacks and drinks and the place is very very clean. All in all I can’t say enough great things about Ashley and Seaport Tattoo so 5 stars just isn’t enough.

First off, they were not lying in the reviews about Francis. I went into the shop on Saturday around the time they recommended (btwn 11 am to 2 pm) and receptionist was sooo nice! Immediately she greeted my boyfriend and I so warmly and conversed with us while we waited for Francis to disinfect his piercing area. The shop is exceptionally clean. I loved it the moment I walked in. Any-who.. I have gotten many piercings before. But my experience at Seaport was by far one of the best. I wanted the industrial piercing and Francis walked me through the entire process. I already had a cartilage piercing in the spot that I wanted the industrial but Francis made sure to measure it so that it came out perfect. For me, the piercing literally did not hurt. Again, Frances explained everything step by step and also provided thorough after care instructions. Four (4) days later and I am literally still obsessed with this new piercing. It was done very professionally. Im glad I chose Seaport to get my piercing done. Oh yeah, and thank you Francis for keeping my hair out of the way while while you were piercing my ear, haha!

Couple days ago, I got my first nose pierced by Francis. A tear did come out of my eye a little bit but overall it felt pretty fine. Thank you Francis for caring about which jewelry fits perfectly for the nose. I will be returning soon.

Garbage. Explained that I was coming to get my 8 yr old daughters ears pierced...called no less than 4 times to ask about starter earrings, check on time, ask about bringing a passport etc. Was told a legal document that showed her age, like a passport was fine. Was never told I had to prove I was her mom...so its a birth certificate only. Traveled all the way in for a Christmas present and left with my daughter crying bc I brought a passport, as I was told. Go to Chameleon and see Owen ...do NOT recommend a place that cant get their info togetehr

This place is great. Ive recently had work done here twice - a touchup by Josh, and a new piece by Jim. The service is outstanding and its clear they really care about their work. The place itself is really nice too, with beverages, coffee, etc. Very skilled artists and a great atmosphere, would recommend to anyone.

Francis pierced my nose and it was the least painful nose piercing ever! He made sure I was comfortable and relaxed and even gave me some snacks! Very nice and gentle.

The front desk receptionist was super sweet and kind very helpful and just made the process so smooth but the highlight of it all is my man mike oh my god never have I ever loved another human being this man besides the amazing and outstanding tattoo job he’s done he WILL make you feel right at home and feel comfortable. You can actually joke with him and have a laugh , he’s not heavy handed when it comes to the ink and he keeps your mind away from it all with the funny jokes and hilarious convos. Went in to get a tattoo. The quality of the artwork speaks for itself. Kyle and jimmy are masters of their craft and anyone would be lucky to have a tattoo by either on of these fine gentlemen.What sets this shop apart from the rest is the atmosphere and the customer relations skills of all the staff. First off let me say having a front desk girl is wonderful because having a tattoo shop answer your email within an hour of you sending it is 100 percent unheard of in the industry, but they got it. The second and in my opinion more important thing is neither artist is a stuck up (I can think of more creative language but I wanted this review to reflect the same professionalism I experienced at the shop). They are both easy going down to earth working class dudes. In an age when shows like inkmaster and apps like IG has made even the most mediocre of artists think they are gods gift to tattooing it was so refreshing to come into a shop and meet guys like Kyle and jimmy. On first glance with slacks and a tshirt youd never know I had quite a few tattoos and Im also in the military so I look fairly clean cut. I cant tell you how many shops Ive walked out of because they treat me differently because of that. Well not here they went really above and beyond the call. I had a tattoo artist flake on me last minute for a really important tattoo for a teammate I lost. I wanted to get the tattoo on the one year anniversary of his death. I came in and explained the situation. They went above and beyond to accomodate me. Got me in the next day on the anniversary for a custom tattoo. They had super reasonable prices. With my tattoo being custom and all the special attention I got and the quality of the art I expected to pay an arm and a leg for this tattoo. That was not the case. It was a fair price.Seriously check these guys out. They have promotions throughout the week too. Give them a call, stop in.... Just get over there!

I went into this place asking for a skull tattoo something simple you would think. According to this place it’s impossible. Now I’m looking at the pictures saying hmmm seems like you know what you’re doing but they still said no “too much to do too much detail” I’m pretty sure they are just racist.if you can’t do a simple skull maybe tattooing isn’t for you.
