Great environment, very clean and comfortable. I was accompanied very well although I was late. The piercer was amazing and made sure I was happy with the placement, there was also a great selection of earrings. Best part is that my ears are not red or swollen and do not hurt after a very short amount of time!

Caleb was nice and patient. He understood what I wanted as my end goal for my tattoo. He gave input when needed for options. The shop was extremely clean. I felt like the price was fair and I have many tattoos. The rest of the staff were friendly as well. I did a roman numeral tattoo for a family members date of birth. I would come back when I come to visit Tahoe!

Had multiple piercings done by Nerissa, she was amazing, very professional, experienced, and really able to get me comfortable. My piercings all turned out great, and healing well. I even popped in after for a quick check up and she was amazingly accommodating. The shop itself is bright, very well maintained and everyone there very welcoming. I saw one of the tattoo artists working and work was amazing! Highly recommend this business!

My daith piercing fell out while on vacation in Tahoe, so I checked around for tattoo/piercing shops that might be able to help me out. Lake Monster was responsive and willing to get me on the schedule for the next day. I was thrilled with their communication and their availability. My mom was finally able to get my piercing back in place, so I ended up not needing to go in, but will be using this shop for piercing and tattoo work in the future due to their communications and quality of the portfolios.

Ok so...I love this place! I finally decided to get the piercing Ive always wanted but was too chicken...until now. I had a very serious piercing done by Nerissa the piercer and it turned out beautiful! Its perfect and is healing amazingly. Even with my active life style and job. But let me tell you the thing I really liked. The atmosphere made me feel very comfortable and that includes all of the artists that work there. You guys rock! If you want piercings done and done very well, please visit Lake Monster Tattoo! I noticed one other thing...one of the tattoo artists was working on someones hip and the artwork on it was mind-blowing! Now I know where Im going to go to have my ink finished. Ive got one on the back of each arm and I need them connected going up behind and over my back. So to recap, everything Ive experienced there was very positive and I felt extremely comfortable getting my P.A. done! Id provide a picture of my new addition but that would be inappropriate for a Google review. Thank you guys and thank you Nerissa especially! You guys are awesome and ill recommend you to all of my friends and people I know!

Narissa was very sweet, polite and professional. She stretched my from a regular ear piercing to an 8g today. Made the process smooth and comfortable.Clean, wonderful shop. 10/10 recommend👍🏻

Aside from being very clean a few parking spaces out front with lots of parking in the rear. Everyone there is really nice and helpful... Definitely great artists! And great work! Ive been going for about 3 years and will continue to go there for my ink.

Came to Lake Monster for a piercing on my birthday. I was able to make a same-day appointment! Nerissa did an amazing job. The shop was beautiful and very clean, and Nerissa made me feel so comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire experience. Definitely the best piercing experience Ive ever had. They also had a great selection of body jewelry in store! Id highly recommend Lake Monster to anyone looking to get a piercing in South Lake! Ill definitely be back next time I visit Lake Tahoe.

I got a septum piercing here and it was very quick and easy. It was only sore for about 2 hours immediately after the piercing and then I never felt any soreness or pain again. The workers are really nice and give helpful care advice.

Ive been going here for years. Reed and Nerissa are absolutely phenomenal. They are highly skilled, very professional, and the cleanliness of their shop cant be matched. I moved out of Tahoe years ago, and have been driving (and flying) back to get work done here, as no other place Ive been to compares.

My husband and I have been getting tattooed by Reed for over 1 1/2 years now. He is talented, creative, knowledgeable and friendly. He and his wife Nerissa (who does all the piercings and is also equally awesome) own the shop and have been there for over 15 years. They have become friends and we couldn’t be happier with all of the work we’ve had done. Greg also tattoos in this shop and does a great job as well. Reed and Greg do different styles so between the two of them, they really do cover a large amount of styles. Really can’t go wrong with either one for tattoo work. If you’re looking to get quality work done, this is the place to go! We get so many compliments on our tattoos and always tell our tattoo admirers about Lake Monster!

For what you get here, I am extremely happy with their prices. Reed does my work and I love the dude. He is a genuine, down to earth guy just like every other employee at this shop. Just got my septum done today! I wouldnt recommend anywhere else in town. Narissa was fast, calming, and sweet. She explained everything thoroughly and simply and really made the experience a positive one. Will be coming back when I get another piercing for sure :)

Huge thanks to Lake Monster for my recent tattoo they did. I had a cover up that I needed done and they were very understanding and compassionate. Greg was very kind and professional and was able to perfectly cover up a name that was haunting me and replace it with something dedicated to my children. Narissa is a doll and always has a sweet tone and smile on her face. This is my second tattoo with them and my 10+ piercing with them and they are ranked high above the rest. Reed is a true artist and my next one I will definitely get on the wait list for him.If in doubt about a tattoo or piercing they are experts and will take care of not only you but your body and wallet as well. Thank you guys for helping me get rid of the last reminder I had of a painful past. You have a life long patron and tahoe local here.

Greg did an amazing job was scared to get my fist tattoo but Greg made it something I wanna do more of now. Greg was very patient and a genuinely great guy very talented and artistic. Will definitely be getting another tattoo here.

Lake Monster Tattoo is awesome! Definitely the best shop for tattoos or piercings in Tahoe. Ive checked out all the shops in the area (which were all total crap! Dont waste your time!) The work is incredible and the staff is super friendly. I will definitely make the 3.5 hour trip for future work.

Worst tattoo shop Ive ever been to. We were on vacation and we get tattoos ever vacation apot we go and this was the worst experience s we have had. The artist talked with his boss instead of drawing our tattoo took over and hour and a half to get out tattoo drawn wouldnt give.price til done. Our daughter got blood poisoning from her tattoo artist and they wont do a damn thing about it and has dr proofnirs from the tattoo. I personally have 12 and this was my 13th and it makes me not want to get a tattoo again. Its been 2 weeks since we have been back and pure are still not healing correctly they went way too deep and we have scaring for ever, dont go.here they are the worst tattoo shop ever. Even too!

I’ve had 8 piercings done here and I’m going back asap. Always nice kind and professional. The piercer got to know me very quickly and was able to recommend jewelry that I love. Can’t wait to go back

I was with Greg and I dont sit the best with tattoos we found out but he was so patient and so understanding he did so good with my tattoo!! I showed some Inspo photos and he drew up something so much more beautiful then I even imagined. Cant wait to get my next tattoo there!!
