This place is very nice and peaceful and it brings happiness to me, but the peace and happiness in this place always wears off when the front desk lady is present. She has a huge attitude problem that I think should seek some therapy. I understand if you’re moving fast for other customers but you can also move fast and have kindness in between doing your job. I recommend meditating after you come to work to respect the heart and kindness of others, because that is not what you have (of course if you’re reading this.)

What an awesome shop with a really cool vibe and friendly staff!!We were in town for the weekend, and my wife and her bestie wanted to get matching nose piercings. On Saturday, after rudely being turned away from a different shop south of downtown Reno that didnt even try to see what we even wanted, and basically told us were dumb tourists, we luckily found Under Your Skin Tattoo & Piercings.They were busier than the original shop we stopped at, but we were greeted with smiles, and even though we didnt have an appointment, they happily fit us in quickly. Needless to say, we will definitely be back in the future and recommend this shop to our friends!!Thank you all so much!! A thousand times better than the Crap Hole we first stopped at.

The staff here is so friendly and awesome. They tell you how it is. They were amazed at how calm and collective I was getting my nipples and industrial done. Will definitely be going back there for another piercing or two!!! Love you all!

Wow, I’ve heard a lot of good things about this shop but I was in and out literally in 10 minutes! Shop is super clean, everyone is really nice, my piercer was friendly and gave me the run down and I was done quite fast. Definitely coming back for more piercings soon

About a month ago I got my vertical labret done here and it was AMAZING (small casualties aside.) After my piercing was done, the piercer and I got the the counter and I began to feel like I was going to faint. She (the piercer) noticed and had me sit down, not even a minute later she returned and gave me pineapple juice and a cold water. Safe to say this angel lady saved me from a vagal response, and gave me a piercing thats perfectly straight. So happy I went here

For my birthday, I decided that I was going to get some piercings that have been on my bucket list for a while. I got my second nostril, as well as my rook. My piercer, whose name was also Amy, was absolutely fantastic! She also took some time to downsize the bar in my conch that was pierced at a different shop about a month ago. They had me in and out in less than 15 minutes, but that is not to say that they dont take their time to make sure that location and everything is perfect..and more importantly, that I was relaxed and comfortable. Amy was an absolute doll and I will definitely be back for more! They are incredibly priced, kind, and compassionate! If you go here, please make sure you tip...they dont ask for it, but they absolutely deserve it with the type of hospitality they provide! 11/10, hands down.

I went before closing and it was closed. So frustrating. I went around 9:30 when it closes at 10 (according to google and the sign on the door). I understand that 9:30 is close to closing time, but I didn’t even want a piercing. One of my jewelry pieces fell out and I just wanted to run in and get a new one quickly. Wasted trip wasted gas. Maybe adjust business hours online if you’re not gonna be open

I have been going to this shop for years, since I was 16 actually. I am 25 now. Ron the owner has done majority of my piercings and even some of my tattoos. I can honestly say that even after taking a few years off from getting piercing I am back to getting them and I will hands down, always go to Under Your Skin. I usually do walk ins for piercings and they’ve gotten me in every time within at the most an hour depending on how busy they are. Everyone is always super nice. I just got three more on my ear last Friday 02/23/2024. I suck at names, but the piercer was absolutely amazing super sweet and I’ll be sure to get her name the next time I go.I also just got my Medusa re-done on 02/09/24, I swell a ton, so I had gotten my jewelry changed out to a shorter bar when I went in on 02/23/24 so that I didn’t mess up the healing process having such a long bar. (Which the piercer told me if the bars too long it can mess up the healing process.)So thank you Under Your Skin Employees ! Thank you Ron. All of you guys rock and are so knowledgeable when it comes to the after care of both piercings and tattoos.Overall a great place for your piercing and tattoo needs. 10/10 recommend Under Your Skin. I recently got my first piercing, and the young lady was kind, thorough, and a pleasure to be around. The aftercare and any concerns I had were addressed in a nonjudgmental manner. Overall, it was a great experience.

I got my naval piercing here and let me say wow THAT WAS THE BEST PIERCING EXPERIENCE EVERRRR i completely forgot his name but the man who pierced me did the coat/bag hangers in the room and was bragging about it so cute he was SOOOO sweet and prepared me for everything i needed to know about healing my piercing i can’t wait to come back again

I decided to get a piercing with my sister today, in a city Id never been to and everyone here was so nice. I forgot to ask her name but the lady who pierced us was very nice and explained the whole healing process and made sure to answer all our questions. And when my sister wasnt exactly happy with the placement of the mark she happily changed it with no problem. Its one of my first piercings aside from my nose/ears and she made it so easy and painless. And even as a walk-in the wait was only about 15-20 minutes when i was expecting to get told i would either need an appointment or i would have to wait a few hours. Overall an amazing experience, and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a piercing place.

Girlfriend called ahead to setup appointments for us to get nose piercings, was advised we could just walk in. Okay, cool. We got there and sat for an hour as we watched people who came in after us go right ahead. I’m sure they’re good at what they do but I personally didn’t want our experience to be remembered like that and I sure as Hell wouldn’t personally pay for an experience like that, lmao.

Went in to get my nose pierced for the first time (I’ve only ever had my ears pierced and by the piercing guns, so I was a little nervous). The shop is very clean and nice and everyone there was very sweet. The woman who pierced my nose went over all the aftercare instructions with me thoroughly. When it came to the actual piercing, it was so quick - seriously like 2 seconds - and it BARELY hurt! I couldn’t believe it was done so quickly! I was so excited that I forgot to get the name of my piercer but she was taller and blonde. A week and a half later and my piercing is doing great! I’ve already recommended Under Your Skin to so many people, I will definitely be coming again for more piercings!

I took my 14 year old daughter to get a tongue piercing, she had a great experience, the piercer, he was absolutely wonderful with her, I loved him, felt very safe, I will be back for more piercings

Went to buy earrings because my last ones broke. I chose which ones(style) I wanted, and recieved a mismatched pair. That and the person who helped me looked like he would rather do anything else then showing me jewelery and charge me for it.

Jada was absolutely incredible! super kind, informative and made the whole process so comfortable ♡ will be visiting again for all my other piercings!

Called ahead to make an appointment to get my high nostrils and my s/o’s nostril pierced and was advised by the girl who answered the phone to just walk in. It was very crowded upon arrival but we checked in and it seemed like everyone was being helped pretty fast. After waiting about 30 minutes another couple walked in, checked in, then was taken back within 5 minutes, then the same thing with a group of several girls. the girl we checked in with sat up front the entire time scrolling through her phone while we gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited for over a hour while they skipped over us and blatantly ignored us in the waiting area until we had enough. I let the girl up front know it was taking too long and we would be leaving, she apologized, but overall a very poor first experience. So much for their “first come first serve” policy.

This place was amazing!!! Every worker was so nice and my friends and I felt very comfortable the whole time! Definitely recommend!

Went here earlier today and absolutely loved it!!! I got 3 piercings 2 on the sides of my nose and one on my lip and he did an amazing job!! Made sure i was happy and comfortable with everything and made sure my anxiety was okay afterwards before leaving. The people are super nice and professional and overall wonderful! Super inexpensive for great services and products and will definetly be coming here again!!!

Update with Photos for educational purposes:(Since a 4-Star rating needed an explanation?)Here are photos of what I mean. Im from Oregon, yes. But Ive never been to a respectable shop that would put such a small post in my mouth. Ever. I have ALWAYS been told that, due to the size of my lips I need to size up or keep the post long or the nesting will need to be cut out. I went in to downsize and received this post (front, next to gem). With a SMALLER and ROUNDED head. The nesting was so bad on the second day, I had to tear my skin to get it out and went back to the old post (The longer one behind, with the FLAT, bigger head for ORAL piercings). Not to mention, the gem caused a reaction at the site. Its been pierced for almost a year and Ive had no issues until now. I have almost zero skin sensativity and have 19 piercings with almost no issues.The second photos are of the gem style setting I have ALWAYS recieved from Oregon Tattoo and Piercing shops (Blue and Silver Gems). Closed cut gems. The gem I received (front silver, next to short, rounded nesting post) has a 4 prong setting and starting digging into my face within an hour. It literally looks and feels like a 2$ Claires earring.As a piercer its your job to try and make sure that what your client is requesting is safe, will look as they desire, and will heal properly. I definitely do not feel like I was given the thought needed to make sure that I left your shop with professionally inserted jewelry that would heal safely with my obvious facial anatomy. PSA for those who care about a customers experience, the jewelry was either cheap or not for an oral piercing. Anyones aveage healing oral cells woud have swallowed that thing in a day, period. Maybe change distributors.......Piercers seem pretty knowledgable and friendly and prices are totally reasonable. Not a fan of the amazon/offbrand body candy style of jewely they have. I was downsized and had to go back up b/c of poor jewelry quality. 4 stars for 0 issues with the actual piercings, but you get what you pay for with their jewelry and down another star because apparently youre uneducated if you have a problem with their professional choices 🤷🏾‍♀️😂

Dominique is an angel on Earth, seriously. I got my first two facial piercings (septum and eyebrow) done here and she was so kind, gentle, and coached me through the whole process while being efficient and cleanly. She also engaged with my group and was so funny and caring! While my septum fell out through no fault of the piercer, my eyebrow piercing has healed perfectly 7 months later and looks phenomenal. Prices were amazing, atmosphere was immalculate, and everyone there seemed to be having a good time. If youre a piercing virgin, GO HERE! Theyll take care of you.

I took my daughter here for her first ear lobe piercings, and I had my ear lobes re-pierced after they closed up. I had previously had piercing-gun piercings done at Claires when I was in my 20s, and they just never healed correctly. I learned about the difference with hollow and sharpened needles at body piercing places, and I am so glad I brought my daughter here. Our piercings healed perfectly. The place felt clean and like a doctors clinic. The piercer was friendly and professional. I had complete trust in her.The only thing I would add is that they gave us instructions to wash the piercing daily with antibacterial soap, and to apply homemade saline. As the piercings were like fresh surgical wounds, and having to deal with a lot of different wound care in my life, using homemade saline didnt sit right with me.The piercer did not provide specific salinity to aim for - just to add a pinch of salt to some water. Actually, I researched that to be beneficial to piercings and wound care, the saline needs to be slightly more salty than the bacteria youre trying to kill so that you can dehydrate them and kill them. This is called hypertonic. But you cant make it too salty, or else it will irritate your wound and your skin.I did my research online, and I went to Walmart and got a can of hermetically sealed, Vicks Sinex saline spray. They only had the can that was labeled for sinus use, but it is the same salinity as the one labeled for cleaning piercings. I felt MUCH better about using something produced, rather than trying to mix up my own to apply to a fresh wound.

I got my belly button pierced today by Chey and she was spectacular! I was very nervous and couldn’t stop laughing but she was very patient with me. It was a great experience and she took extra care to make sure it was right in the middle.

I have never had such great experiences at a Piercing Studio or Tattoo Shop. I’ve been to several between Las Vegas, Carson, and Reno. 10/10 recommend. I’ve had piercings from both of the shop owners daughters and the new girl Jada and will always go back. Thank you for providing such great service and always making your clients feel welcome!

Very clean, and professional service! I’ve had my nose pierced here in 2021 and was so pleased with their service, that I came back- almost 2 years later, to get my industrial and daith done, and I still am, if not more impressed with their service! The lady who did my piercings was named Chey, and she was such a sweetheart! She made sure I was comfortable during both piercings, and complimented me during the process. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for their first piercing to be done, as I’ve had my first major piercing (nose) and in the 2 years i’ve had it- no issues at all!😁

I just got my tongue pierced today and as soon as I walked in it was about a 10 min wait drove all the way from Carson to get my tongue pierced and it didn’t hurt as bad as I thought it would everyone inside the shop was so friendly and very professional,and explained the healing process and told me how very cold things would help swelling for a few days. I appreciate you guys for all that you do thank you! I definitely would recommend this place!!

Ron has kept the best reputation in town as a business owner. His customer service is always climbing positively. Three days ago I came in and got a nose piercing by Dominique and another girl who was apprenticing. Not only did they make sure I was comfortable but the apprentice held my hand. They were so nice to me. The piercing itself was not painful and she put the jewelry in the perfect spot. This is the first time out of 3 nose piercings I’ve had in my life time that I haven’t experienced any swelling or pain from it what so ever. I appreciate their quality of work and recommend to anyone. For goodness sake skip the 2 week wait list at black hole and get down to Under Your Skin. They’re the best thank you Ron for maintaining a wonderful business. I’ve been coming here for at least a decade.

This is my one and only piercing shop since I was 14!They have done ALL of my piercings except one I got on vacation that has since been taken outThey recognize me when I come in regardless of how long it’s been and they do a great job! I have gotten 3 sets of double piercings (eyebrows, nostrils, and upper lip vertical labrets) and all are straight and even. I get compliments on my piercings all the time!Goes to show you don’t need a fancy piercing job to have healthy long lasting piercings. The prices are unbeatable and if you take care of your wounds you won’t have any issues10/10 I will rep this place until I die

I’m not gonna lie, I underestimated this place. I came here to get my cheeks pierced and I was terrified. I was half expecting it to be awful so j in could run and leave.. it wasn’t. It was medical grade clean. The girls are so nice there. Chet was my piercer. My coworker and I came in and she got her septum and I got my cheeks. Chey was so thorough and made sure our piercings would be perfectly even. She didn’t rush but she was fast. I was expecting my cheeks to be painful but it wasn’t terrible at all. She also showed me some more jewelry so that as my swelling subsides i can swap out. Listen… I hadn’t been pierced in 6 years because I had such a bad experience that it was memorable. She restored my faith in piercings. Also, this place is clean, professional af and super reasonable prices. 100% just go here. Nowhere else for piercings.

Extremely unprofessional and seems like you are more concerned about being right than the customer who had a bad experience.My piercer was professional but I felt the apprentice was far more thorough. I got bilateral tragus piercing. I didn’t get to pick my jewelry. The procedure went well and I left with no concerns. By day 4 I was very swollen.. swelling that moved from my ear down to my neck. I sought medical attention.The jewelry that was placed wasn’t the length typically use for a new piercing. I ended up on antibiotics and a piercing that was very painful and huge waste of time and money. In case UYS cares , I was there 8/17/23@ 1:30… pretty sure my number is on file…feel free reach out. Do better

This place is amazing !! After they moved locations prices for tattoos went up but over all the artists are amazing and having a female and male piercer definitely helps women feel comfortable with private piercings. Zac Niles is amazing with color and detail . Ron the shop owner is also super amazing !! You will never be disappointed with the work!!! Over all an amazing experience every time I’ve been in there and I’ve gone in alot for most my tattoos and my dermal and plan on going in for my nipples !! Highly recommend!!!!!!

I went in with my wife and daughter to get a lip, nose and septum pierced and was treated very nice. I thought I had left my ID card there and the owner was more than helpful to check the cameras (turned out to be in my wife’s purse😏). I missed our time slot but the nice lady was so kind to just take us in anyways. All our piercings are healing well. Also the place is very nice and clean. Thanks guys for the wonderful experience.

Flash was all the same thing, and while piercings are walkins, the line was to the door. I knew I’d be waiting a while and decided to find somewhere else.

I’ve gotten so many piercings from them I love them all. They fixed my industrial issues I got from a different place in Carson and they told me that the person who did it was in the wrong and I need to redo it so under your skin fixed it. I just got my snake bites done and they are healing very well.

Good prices, clean shop, great customer service & plenty of patience with my 2 girls! Got an industrial, rook, & 2nd lobe piercings between the two. Knowledgeable peircer noted the industrial wouldnt work well on the ear she originally wanted it in due to her specific ear shape & size, so switched ears, which is why we go to a pro!

We came here after having issues with another Tattoo/Piercing shop (scheduled for 6 PM; the guy never responded until after 6:30).Called around and decided to go with Under Your Skin. We arrived and were greeted by Ron (owner). Mean looking dude but is extremely professional, patient, and helpful. My 2 sisters and girlfriend wanted piercings. Ron managed to fit us in about an hour before closing and got everything done. He was very comforting for all 3 piercings and made sure they were all well informed on what he was doing as he was doing it.Without a doubt, Ron aims and pierces to please. You will not leave disappointed. Great service and fair prices!I did forget to tip... But we will definitely be returning for future piercings and tattoos!

This place was clean and the people were down to business! I got my industrial and septum done and Id have to say Id recommend. I started visiting Under Your Skin years ago for a tattoo and have received a handful of piercings over the years. Getting a tattoo with them over 10 years ago, and only discovering them for piercings last year. They have recently moved to another location & added a bunch of new piercers (which they gloated on social media about offering discounted piercings with the new people). In the past 3 months, Ive gotten 2 ear piercings & visited a twice to purchase jewelry. In a nutshell, its beyond crowded in the new location. Their lobby is always full of people & its just not a comfortable environment at all. The jewelry selection is very minimal - and the guys working the counter are not very easy to talk to or friendly to deal with. For example, I was looking for a specific size ring - he told me I needed something smaller (because thats all they had) and was not knowledgeable about the jewelry or availability.They offer a Buy 1, get 1 half off piercings, so both of my piercings were with friends so we could get a deal. Let me tell you, you get what you pay for. Most of the piercers are inexperienced and dont make for a very comfortable experience. My friend had jewelry changed during one of our visits, which she said was more painful than the original piercing. The piercers made it clear that they hated the jewelry options (they hate screwing balls on) and did not have the experience/skills to create as comfortable of experience as possible.Inexperienced piercers, poor/cheap jewelry selections, very few jewelry options. The owner is also a tool who would rather attack his customers (see Yelp) for providing valuable feedback about his business and whine like a child than doing something about the poor service. Will not be back. .

My experience is always amazing here. From my experiences the shop is always kept clean so its a great place to go for a hygienic shop. This is the only place I trust to give me piercings. They make me feel welcome, safe and important. The workers are very friendly and do outstanding piercings in a quick and gentle way. They are very patient with me and I admire how passionate they are about their job. I personally believe this shop has always gone above my expectations and I always end up satisfied.

My best friend and I walked in an hour before closing, they usually did clean ups about that time, but they still took us to do 3 piercings. The staff was very down to earth, chilled people. They kept everything professional and the lady did an awesome job. The wait time was nothing, we were in an out of the shop. The lady walked through everything on how to keep our piercings healthy. Not to mention all of this for a great and reasonable price.

My family and I have been coming here for at least 8 years and have never had a bad experience. The shop and its employees have always been welcoming and easy going. It has always been EXTREMELY clean every time I have come in. I have only good things to say about the people here. I live in the bay area, but this shop is the only place I trust for any of my tattoo and piercing needs. I trust them so much that I give them free reign when designing my tattoos because I know the tattoo will always come out perfect! This is the only place I will recommend, even to people in the bay area. I receive constant compliments on my tattoos, and other people get upset they cant find a local place to make amazing tattoos like this shop.

Showed up two days in a row for my daughter’s birthday sign still said open even called ahead of time and let them know I was on my way. They said they had an opening both times we get there and they’re not able to do the piercing. They said we’re done for the night at 7:15. We called them at 7 o’clock and they close at 8pm.

I went to Under Your Skin to get a piercing. I got one of the lovely ladies and she handled everything with great care.After the appointment, I realized that the piercing location was slightly off than I wanted so I called and they kindly welcomed me to come in again to fix it in a few weeks after the piercing closed. Great Service!

I went in earlier today to get my Medusa and nose pierced. They do a buy one, get one half off. I spent $60. Every one there was so awesome and friendly. I had Trish ( I hope I spelt it right, you never know) do my piercings and she was very professional (even though my nose was gusher unfortunately lol ) and really cool. Over all the environment was friendly and clean. I would definitely go there again !!!

I had done 2 piercings there and am really happy with it! The place is clean and the people there are incredibly nice. It didn’t hurt at all, they did a really good job. Also my other piercings needed so long to heal and those were healing really well. I’d recommend this place to everybody!

I’ve got 2 piercing done here before and I’m more than happy how they came out. Can’t remember the lady’s name but she’s very nice. She explains everything to you how she’s gonna do it and the after care which I appreciate. Other shops see that you have a piercing and don’t even tell you anything. And surprisingly both of my piercings didn’t hurt. She was very gentle and quick😌

This will be my first shop tat. And what better way to do it then a cover up of a big idol of mine. Im sure theres other shops that do great work, but this is the one I chose and Im glad I did.

We called twice. Once Sunday was told they were booked and only take walk ins. Was told Tues and Wed better to come in since they were slower on those days.Called again on Tuesday little after 12 noon. Was told again no appointments...walk in only and they do last piercing at 730 pm.Showed up on Tues around 4pm. We are from out state and thrilled to find a place to finally get my nose pierced..When we showed up there was one guy waiting to get pierced and we heard as were leaving asking the guy if he was there for his 4pm APPOINTMENT. We told by the one the workers there that there was a line when they were opened and they were fully booked.Hmmm..so basically they didnt want our business. I guess this place only offer their services to certain people of their choosing.

Was here from out of state to visit family. I planned on getting pierced ( nipples & VCH ) while on vacation to have to heal while off work. Im so glad I picked this place. Ron was very very friendly, comforting, professional, and very educated. I am confident if I ever need to ask him anything during the healing process, he said he would just be a phone call away.....even from Kansas!😁

Dominique and her apprentice were so great when my sister and I came in to get our nose pierced. They were so patient and understanding when my sister was nervous. Highly recommend. Clean environment as well.

I absolutely adored my experience with this shop. My artist was so enthusiastic about what he did, and it just made me feel even better about getting them. It was a clean shop and clean process, and the tattoos came out great! Especially for white ink tattoos! Fantastic place, I would definitely recommend it to anyone in Reno.

I was in here about two months ago to get my first tattoo in honor of my father and the lady who did my tattoo (Im sorry I cant remember your name) was amazing. She helped me out through everything. Picking the font, how big I wanted it and where the placement would be. I have anxiety and she made me feel very comfortable and talked to me when I got nervous about it. Im planning on going back for the rest of my tattoo and probably this weekend to get pierced. I recommend this shop to any of my friends who ask for a good piercing/tattoo place.

Poor selection, no breathing room in area but most of all had a really rude worker. Ill take my time and money to somewhere that respects me, who doesnt get offended at me asking is there any more jewelry options, and where the owner doesnt throw a tantrum at any bit of HELPFUL feedback. Just look at these replies here if you dont believe me. I recommend anywhere else.

Went in to get my tongue pierced in May and was scared at first but they made me feel at ease and it went very well havent had any issues at all. They were very clean. Will definitely be returning. Thanks again

The first time I went with a friend they did a good Job with my nose piercing the man was very nice but they messed up my friends tongue piercing. He put it in at an angle where it hit her tooth. So she had to go back and get stuck again to get it fixed. I went back with another friend to do my lip because he was so nice the first time and he refused to do it. I tip well and had drove all the way there for his services. Was waiting outside before they opened to have it done, but he said it wasnt his day to do piercings and was not willing to make an exception even though I went there when he told me he worked so he could . I will never go back or recommend them again. I think the owners response was very humorous. To compare me with somebody trying to get something for free , I did not ask for a discount or any free work to be done, also I gave them a $20 tip both times I went in. It just proves my point they dont care about their customers and do not have good customer service. When I find somebody I like I prefer to keep going to that person. if you are like that I would not recommend this place. Even if you are respectfull and tip well they will still refuse to help you. The owner was not helping a customer at the time and was not busy. They just dont value returning customers.

Do not recommend....Apparently a simple jewelry change is a 2 hour wait..Visited for the first time for two tragus ear piercings and came back twice in the same day for a simple jewelry change and they couldnt squeeze me in for 2 hours. The wait time is absolutely ridiculous, not to mention the lil dude at the desk does not know how to communicate or know how treat paying customers. smh.

Just got a durmal piercing and the experience was great. Friendly people. Make you feel like you know them for a bit ha ha. Definitely would recommend

This place is A M A Z I N G!! I went for my fourth piercing in my ear, the tragus. They are so kind and they make you are comfortable and ready for the piercing!!! I had gotten all my others piercing done at black hole before but I had an experience that made me switch to under your skin. At black hole their 1 of their needles broke in my ear. I was in a LOT of pain and there was a ton of blood!!!! But here at Under your skin, its all clean metal needles and they walk you through what they are doing and they are not expensive! Plus I came in earlier for a lost rook earring and they replaced it easy peasy for $15!! Definitely recommend🤗🤗

Poor service wasn’t able to get a piercing showed up an hour before they were closing. Everybody like they were being unprofessional. If your sign says they’re open till eight why do you stop taking people an hour before.

The lady who pierced me was extremely confident that my previous and my two friends piercings were pierced crooked. Then she pierces my ear crooked. It confused me but I never asked for a refund because the piercer was so confident and arrogant. The deals are good and price but go at your own risk I suppose.

Absolutely amazing. I had my tongue pierced and piercer was super nice, and very reassuring. The piercing was quick and painless, walked me through a good aftercare, and was very inexpensive for it. Highly recommend & will definitely be going back.

Daughters nose was severely impacted with piercing. Went back 2 times and they gave suggestions on how to care for piercing without even taking a good look at it. Finally went to other piercing shop for second opinion. They said aftercare instructions were very outdated and not what we should be doing. Ended up having to have piercing removed and still hoping that we dont end up having to go to doctor for further care.

My 16 year old son got his ears pierced here today. Everyone I spoke with was very friendly and knowledgeable as well as down to earth and made him feel super comfortable. I was also very happy that in order for them to pierce my underaged son, they needed solid proof that I was his parent and allowed to give my okay. Very nice to know someone elses mama couldnt just take him in without my knowledge. Thank you guys!

The man at the desk was very rude and refused to give service to my friend. We had waited in line from 8-11 for their special and then when it came to us they said they would not let her get a tattoo even though there were people hopping the line. She had went 2 times before just to set up an appointment and each time they tell her to come a different day to set one up. Very unprofessional and very rude. I would not recommend going here.

Went for a walk in to get my lip pierced, came back for a walk in tattoo. I dont remember her name, but the girl who pierced my lip was super nice and answered all the questions I had about jewlery, because I wasnt sure what kind to get. Their prices for piercings also include the cost for the basic jewlery, which is really nice.Ron did my tattoo, which is a pretty basic octopus, about 2x1 inches, just black line without shading. It cost $60, which is really nice given that a lot of shops in Reno have a $100 minimum. He uses, and I think all the artists in the shop use, this really cool clear bandage that you change after about a day and leave the second one on for like a week after, so you dont have to worry about washing and moisturizing it while it heals.Overall it was a super good experience, and Im hoping to make an appointment sometime to get some watercolor detail done on an existing tattoo.

Zack is the man ! Absolutely love that man and he is one hell of an artist. He is so chill, I tell him my ideas and he flows with it and comes up with his own designs always comes out more then I expect. He is doing Naurto on me now and I am beyond excited

When I went in for my septum and Medusa, it was not the experience I thought it was gonna be. My septum was first. It was clamped three times and stabbed with the needle each time. It was done very, very slowly and she went through the cartilage. It was very painful and turned out very crooked.Next was my Medusa. This one wasn’t as painful, but I was already in a lot of pain from the septum. She clamped my lip and went through the front and ended up going at a downward angle. The back of the piercing rested on my teeth and gums. The ball of the jewelry also kept coming off and was very difficult to get back on.I came back home and consulted a shop many of my family have gone too and was advised to remove the jewelry, wait for it to heal and then get it redone. I only had them in for about two weeks. All in all, I was disappointed with the results.

Was extremely nervous about getting a nose piercing especially as a minor,Trisha was extremely welcoming and super fast with it, no pain at all. Felt very comfortable with her, and pretty cheap.

I really recommend this establishmennt.establishment. I had never had a tattoo before and I needed one to cover an ugly scar. I was treated. Very well. I set up a consultation and showed the specialty tattoo I wanted. It was a photo of a bright orange Usambara spider. I set the appointment and was impressed by how careful, how clean the place was. the artist explained everything he was going to do and cleaned the area, opened the needles from sterile containers and each time he changed them he threw the old ones in a sharps bin. He was careful to explain the after care and provided me with the sterile dressing. When I had a problem I went back and he placed the second dressing for me. Not only was he a fantastic artist but he was a great person to talk to. While I was there a family with 4 out of control kids came in and he was quick to make them behave and settle down. If you need or want a tattoo I really suggest Under Your Skin. ITS WORTH IT. The pictures below are the one I took him and his finished product. As an arachnologist realism is key and he did so much better than I imagined. With a free touch up for a year, not that I think Ill need it. This place is the best.

Environment was very clean and professional. Piercing was quick with little blood, but now that the piercing has healed two months I realized that it is far from symmetrical with my other nose piercing.

There was barely any wait. Service was nice and my piercings was so quick I barley felt any pain. I totally recommend this place. And it’s a walk in I was in and out in 15 mins.

Under Your Skin is a very clean establishment. The staff is extreamly nice and do a great job at informing you about the processs. I went in for my second lobe peirceing and the woman who did it, Renee, explained the process and after care very well. She also did my eight year old sisters first ear peircing, which went great and she couldnt be happier with them. 10/10 would recomend Under Your Skin to any first-timers.

I called to make an appointment for a piercing. They said they don’t make appointments but they said they’re open. If I show up 10 minutes it took me to get there and they turned me away even though they don’t close till 8 o’clock.

First off let me say this place is amazing not only did everything come in sterile packages the people who worked their answer your questions they have amazing prices and awesome customer service my daughter didnt want the ear piercing in the cartridge so they worked with her to find the best spot not in the cartridge and I would definitely recommend and go back again for more plus they also have us sea salt to clean the area and after care instructions and also let us pick a hoop to go in the ear.

Bought jewelry here due to loosing mine, couldnt have them put it in because the piercer had certain hours that was lose to the time i was there, came back a 2nd time piercer was helping someone-cool understandable, but after waiting 20 mins and hearing chit chat i left to come back for a THIRD AND FINAL time to be told again the piercer would be there from 230-430pm um i ork 8-5pm and will not come back for a 4th time just for some jewelry to be put in..not to mention i asked for the dental backing stud and didnt receive that kind nor was i told they didnt carry what i was asking for till after i paid.. yup shoulda looked at it before giving my money ill admit but issue after issue i will go to an actual body piercing studio such as Black Hole or Fondue!

The place is nice but the woman who did my tongue percing didnt know what she was doing and put my tongue ring in crooked to the point to where it was seriously uncomfortable and my tongue ring got infected.
