Painted Ladies Tattoo & Piercing

I am so impressed with this tattoo shop. Talented, hygienic, and professional. I got a beautiful leg piece done by Kay today. She took my idea for a design and made it better in every way. We took plenty of breaks since it was a larger leg piece, and she explained the entire process and after care in great detail. Previously Marie has done a tattoo for me and her work is equally impressive. Since I was there for a long time due to the size of my tattoo I got to see first hand how well this shop is run. I hope to be back soon to add more ink.

My friend and I got spur-of-the-moment tattoos from Pablo and he 👏 killed 👏 it 👏. It was my first tattoo and he knew I was nervous, but he did a great job putting me at ease and making the process fun. The tattoo turned out great - exactly what I pictured. 12/10 would recommend Pablo!

Marie and Kay are phenomenal. Not only are they so accommodating but they are down to earth. This isnt my first tattoo from them and its far from last. They have a keen eye and I can always trust their professional opinions.

Made an appointment for my sister & I to get tattoos & piercings. I got a very small word tattoo & the artist did fantastic, was very quick, clean & simple. I also got my nipples pierced & was nervous for that. I had the same artist, as well as a second so they could do both at once. Let me tell you, it’s been less than a week, & I swear they feel fully healed. The initial poke is intense, but after, I was only in pain for a day. They bled on & off, but I had very little swelling & very little pain. I take care of them exactly as instructed but I also truly believe they are healing so well due to the amazing piercers. The studio is so clean, the artists are so inviting, friendly & flexible & I would 10/10 recommend & go back!

Marie does an amazing job! The shop is clean and everyone is friendly. She will be touching up an older tattoo of mine that she did years ago.

It was great! I had Marie do my belly button piercing and she was very kind and nice, I was very nervous and she was very understanding! I definitely recommend going there the shop is very clean and even looks pretty cool(at least to a 17 year old) I had a great experience.

These ladies are amazing! kay has done several of my tattoos and i love them all they turned out perfectly and marie was did the massive wings for my wife on her back and we couldnt of asked for better results!! will 100% be going back to these ladies for our future tattoos!

Got the tattoo Ive have been wanting for a couple years. It was better than I had hoped. Nick was the one who created my tat. Cant thank him enough love it so much. This place is amazing.

We called before hand and was told to come in at 5:15 for 3 piercings. We were also going to talk to them about getting tattoos scheduled for Saturday while we were there. We walked in and while looking at jewelry a female worker rudely told us move out of the way so someone could pay. No problem, we apologized and sat down. After helping the other customers she asked what we were there for and we advised 2, possibly 3 nose piercings (which we told them when we called.) She very rudely told us she did not have time for that. Stated she has a class at 6 and she would not be staying late. She said she could do 1 possibly 2 depends on who bleeds the most. Ultimately, we decided to leave and get no piercings or schedule for tattoo as we didn’t feel welcome or that she would take the time.

Thee best experience I’ve ever had at a tattoo shop!!! I’ve gotten multiple tattoos and piercings from Marie and Kay and they have always made me feel comfortable and informed. Not only do they do a phenomenal job but also take the time to teach me the aftercare for my tattoos and piercings to keep my pieces looking beautiful!! Will be my forever shop!

Brought my daughter here to get her nose pierced. Very thorough. Cute shop! The gal who pierced my daughter was fantastic. My daughter wont stop talking about her experience. Prices are fair. The gentleman who answered my phone call, your customer service skills need a bit fine tuning but you were very informative. I almost went somewhere else when you question my decision to allow my child to get a piercing. I know you are just doing your job but try not to be rude. My child prayed it wasnt you who would pierce her 😂

We take a vacation every year in August to Okoboji and since 2021 it has been our tradition to get a tattoo. The first year was a MUST and we threw an idea out there and Kay ran with it. This year, we thought we had an idea, changed it from the time we called and then had an apprentice, Nick, doing our tattoos. He was amazing, did a great job even though I KNOW he was nervous. He was personable, fun, was able to joke around and wasnt uptight. I am so thankful for the Painted Ladies Tattoo & Piercing!! We love these ladies and we are so grateful that they we were able to get in on such short notice!!! THANK YOU ALL!!! SEE YOU IN 2023!

Hands down the best place, we came in last minute party of 6 and they accommodate each and everyone of us to wich tattoos we wanted. The shop was very clean all equipment was clean! Very awsome ladys to work with.

Went in for some piercings, the lady was very short and seemed to have an attitude the whole time being there. got a septum piercing, she ended up piercing me twice without saying anything to me and then after, said i had a crooked septum. would’ve been good info to hear before getting pierced. twice. would’ve changed my mind and not gotten it. wasted my money on that one. got my belly pierced after and she was not very nice about talking about my belly. didn’t appreciate. wont be back. thank you

Went in for my first tattoo and was excited until i was greeted by a very rude lady, when i asked a question she would laugh and say “is this your first tattoo or something?” with an attitude, what was supposed to be an enjoyable experience turned into a very unpleasant interaction. when i came back for a free touch up i was laughed at for “picking out little details”, isn’t that what the touch up is for? very unprofessional shop and i will not be returning.

Hands down, just a great experience. I loved the energy first and foremost. This is a big thing for me. I walked in, so to be taken care of and treated the way I was, was comforting. I gave Kay(K?) a vague description of what I wanted, and she brought it to life. I love this tattoo, and the artist and shop it came from! Highly recommend. 5 🌟

Did a walk in and my artist was just awesome. She did beautiful work and we had delightful conversation. I live a distance away but I will definitely be coming back for more sweet ink! Thank you for my simply beautiful Sun!

I’ve gone in quite a few times after my coworker had suggested going in and I’ve now gotten 3 piercings and 3 tattoos from them. They’re always super friendly and helpful. I had to go in twice this past week looking for random pieces of jewelry and they had everything I needed at a nice price!

Had an amazing experience, my artist Marie was amazing and we had amazing conversation and my artist/aprentice nick also did an amazing job on me and my friends matching tattoos I would definitly recommend, And amazing prices will definitly be coming again!

I have been getting tattooed by Kay and Marie for years and am always so impressed with the quality of work they do! Theyre both very nice and willing to work with you about what you want to get done. Highly recommend them!

Went with my sister to get her nose pierced and the piercer took us back and didn’t talk to us the entire time. I’ve been to multiple tattoo and piercing shops and this was one of the most unprofessional I’ve been to. She gave no cleaning instructions or told us how long it would take to heal. Just got us in and out in under 10 minutes. The stud ended up falling out while she was asleep. I wouldn’t recommend for piercings.

I had them design my tattoo from a few pictures I gave them to use. They did an amazing job with it. I will go back to them again for another tattoo if I figure out what I want. I will also tell others to go to them also.

All I can say is they are absolutely AMAZING.. DEFINITELY the only place to go for tattoos or piercings.. I come here from Nevada just to get tattoos..

We had an appointment somewhere else and the artist didn’t show, we called this shop and they were able to squeeze in mine and my husband tattoos before their next appointment. Went above and beyond and gave us exactly what we were looking for! Will be returning on our vacations!
