Walked in to Skin Design Tattoo and had an amazing experience. The vibe was cool and relaxed. The artists were easygoing and did incredible work. Highly recommend this place for your next tattoo!

I got my first tattoo with my husband and best friend today. It’s something I had been overthinking for years, but as soon as I walked in and saw Skin Design, I knew I wanted it to be there.The artists were super cool and helpful and made sure we felt comfortable and happy with our designs.I loved my experience here so much and will cherish it forever :-)

I am Scotts wife. Joe did a fantastic job of recreating one of my fondest memories of trips and the life we had together. He has a soft smooth hand and the needle felt most times like it was gliding along. This is a memorial tattoo, if you know someone who is looking to get one I highly recommend Joe. I researched for over a month and am thrilled by the results. I will be going back to see Joe again for another tattoo 😀

I feel like I lucked out and found the best artist in oc here. Nigel is super chill and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The downside is that the shop is small but Nigel is worth it because he’s so talented and very professional.

Amanda(Mando) has been working hard becoming one of the best tattoo artists ever. I was lucky enough to get an appointment while she was traveling from New York. The staff at the location are very fun and helpful, offering water and even got me a free ice cream from a next door business. The environment is very welcoming and hospitable.

Amazing shop, super friendly staff with positive vibes made my tattoo experience one to remember 5 starts for sure!!!

Went to Rodeo 39 for an event and food. I wasn’t expecting on getting a tattoo. They had a sale going on 2 for $100 so my friend and I both got 2 small tattoos that day.

I love the vibe of this shop! My artist Jane was very professional and such a kind soul! I cannot wait to get more work done here. From the moment I stepped in the door I felt so welcomed by the front desk employees Jordan & Krystal. Although I was nervous for my stomach piece, Jane helped ease my anxiety & making it not so bad. My experience was top tier and I’ve already started to recommend skin design to my friends!

I got 3 different tattoos, all done by Nigel. He was honest & made me feel very comfortable. I was very happy with how all 3 of my tattoos turned out& they have since then healed beautifully. Overall the entire staff working that day were all very nice & welcoming. 10/10 would recommend & would definitely go back for more pieces!

Can’t say enough wonderful things about the OC crew! Jesse instantly made us feel like family and Jane was amazing, she has the lightest hand when it comes to tattooing! Mario is a master technician who’s artwork is without compare. We were so lucky to find him in the OC but we now know his work is worth the trip to Vegas if needed! Can’t wait to book our future sessions with our new tattoo fam!

The place is completely unprofessional will not recommend to anyone. I scheduled my appointment a month in advance. Give them a $600 Dollar deposit send them my design. They show me and artist they said he can do the Tattoo. I Drive up there all the way from San Diego and hour and half. A Day before my appointment the booking manager text me if I will like to replicate this image which I reply yes. He text me again will you be open for any changes for artist creativity. I’m thinking is going to be maybe the shading or the way he tattoos the flower small details. I get to the Shop and the tattoo artist is not even done setting up the shop. He shows me a completely new design and tells me the original was too complicated. He shows me a generic Hawaiian girl and with a flag under it. The most generic way of doing the tattoo possible. He’s there trying to negotiate with me the sizing tries to give me a smaller tattoo then agreed upon.I just leave the place I’m not going back and forth for a service that I’m paying. I received a phone call from some manager, arguing with me about that’s the artist style so I’m supposed to get tatted on me whatever the artist wants because that’s his style. If the design was too complicated the artist shouldn’t have taken the job and not make me waste my time

Had a good appointment with Cat at this place. She was clean and does great work. The thing that most people will notice is that this place is pretty pricey. But I always say the bitterness of a bad tattoo lasts far longer than the sweetness of a cheap tattoo. It is amazing work so Id say its worth it. You wont be dissapointed with Cat Castro as an artist.

Able to watch people getting their tattoos done. Amazing to see what the artist can do. Staff were friendly.

You guys really need to update your hours on your website. I call no one ever picks up.
