Got my tattoo done last week by Angela. It was a super smooth process and I was very impressed with the result! Angela did an amazing job and clearly loves what she does. She was very helpful when deciding size and placement. She honored the specific details I wanted to include in such a beautiful way. You feel very comfortable there! The space is open and clean. I highly recommend!

My husband and daughter went in to get matching tattoos during Family Weekend at UCONN. Everyone at Eminence Ink was so welcoming and the place has a great vibe. Eric did all 3 of us, we are so happy he could fit us in! He was great and we are so happy with our results! 5 stars is all that they will let me post, otherwise it would have been more! We will make this our tattoo home away from home!

Went to Eminence on 8/30 and had a great experience! Front desk and Fame (the piercer) were both professional and polite. This was my first cartilage piercing and Fame explained how different it was from lobes. Even so, the procedure was quick and easy! I wear glasses and Fame showed me a way to put them back on without interfering with my piercings. Will definitely be coming back for other piercings!

Angelas expertise and attention to detail were remarkable, ensuring my tattoo turned out exactly as I envisioned. I got my familys birth month flowers in a bouquet and my last name in my dads handwriting, and Angela brought my vision to life beautifully.I even brought my mom along for her first tattoo, and Angela made sure she felt comfortable and informed throughout the process. The entire experience was enhanced by the friendly and welcoming atmosphere created by all the artists that night. Eminence Ink Storrs offers not just exceptional artistry but also a warm and inviting environment. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning for future tattoos.

Just had my first ever tattoo done by Angela and I am so happy with the whole experience!! She is so welcoming and kind and was able to perfectly nail my vision. The atmosphere was fun and comfortable and she made me feel less nervous going into it. The place is clean, and she was great about providing information about after care. She’s a very talented artist! Will be returning to her when I get tattoos in the future!

Angela is an amazing artist who really has passion for her work. If you’re looking for a fine line tattoo angela is definitely the one to go to, she works very hard to make her work perfect. As for the other artist in the shop they are all very nice and very welcoming.

I have been a client of the owner since 2017.FAME has tattooed me 40+ sessions, including a full back cover-up, a half sleeve with portraits of my children, and several large color coverups on my hip, ribs, & thigh. He also re-pierced my nose recently and it has healed beautifully.My favorite thing overall though is just the energy in the shop. It is incredible. You can tell from the moment that you walk in that there is true love and dedication that has put into every part of your experience.

Yesterday, I went to get my first ever tattoo at this studio. I was texting and discussing with Angela through Instagram about the tattoo. And she told me everything I needed to know. She was kind, funny, understanding, and very helpful through the whole process. I thought the pain was going to be unbearable on my hip, since it was near my bone but she made sure that I was okay. She also made sure that I liked my design and printed multiple options to choose from, so I knew I’d be happy with the placement and the design. I am definitely going back to this shop sometime soon in the future.Not only was she amazing, but other artist were there and they made sure that the environment was happy and there was something playing on the TV so u had something to watch. They would also spark conversations with me and other people there and make sure to put a smile on the clients face.

My brother and I booked an appointment with Angela this past weekend and could not be happier with the outcome of our tattoos. Just finished my tattoo with Angela Rose and she did an incredible job. This was a continuation of one she did a few months ago. My friend and I had the best time getting our first tattoos. Our experience could not have been more seamless and inviting, Angela was the best!! Looking for not only a great tattoo but also a wonderful experience, go see Camacho at Eminence Ink in Storrs. Weve gotten 4 tattoos from him in the last year, what a great artist. Hes got a light touch, a fantastic bed side manner, great a sensing when youve had enough, and an overall great guy.The sitting area up front is inviting and comfortable. You can grab a snack or some swag while you wait. Once you get down to business in the back of the shop, watch a movie or zone out to some music on your phone I happen to listen to music and read while I get inked.Overall a great experience. All the artists are easy to talk to and youre sure to find one that will help you create and bring your tattoo to life.Oh, and they also do piercing 😉

Eric did an amazing job on my tattoo!! He took the time to redraw it and perfect it and I’m obsessed with the way it came out. He paid so much attention to detail and I’m in love with the finished product! Highly recommend him and Eminence for any tattoo experience, already planning my next one!

I had such a great first tattoo experience here! The staff was so friendly and my tattoo artist, Loop, was the absolute best. She was very re-assuring throughout the whole process considering my first tattoo placement was across the left side of my ribs and constantly made sure I was comfortable. She absolutely nailed the lettering that I wanted, which was specifically in my handwriting. Eminence Ink in Storrs will definitely be seeing again and special shoutout to Loop!

I got my first tattoo here as a walk in just a few hours earlier (writing this review the same day) and I enjoyed the entire experience! The employees are very welcoming, friendly, lively, and care about their customers. The shop is clean, the equipment is clean, and the walls of the shop are covered in art AND there are posters with information about piercings and tattoos! Truly a great environment for a tattoo shop!The artist I had was new! His name was Ramon (I hope I spelled his name right), and did an excellent job with both designing and applying the tattoo! I have zero complaints about this shop!

Angela was the sweetest ever! I always get nervous going into tattoo shops as someone who doesnt have many visible tattoos yet/as a young woman, but Angela made me feel very comfortable and safe! I come to Eminence for all my tattoo needs and they always exceeded my expectations! Loop has been amazing at making sure I get a killer tattoo each time! Each and every artist is incredibly talented and welcoming, great vibes as soon as you walk in. Nothing but good experiences! I recently got my first tattoo at Eminence Ink Storrs and my experience was nothing short of incredible. When I walked in, I was greeted promptly and helped through the process by one of the staff members. The environment was fantastic, and each and every one of the staff was friendly to everyone in the shop at all times. The most amazing of them all however, was my tattoo artist, Angela Rose. She was extremely easy to work with before, during, and after my tattoo. She had my design ready, and was able to tweak it to make it even better than I had ever imagined. To calm my nerves, she talked me through the whole process and was incredibly accommodating to those I brought with me for support. It is clear she has a genuine passion for the art and her clients. She was so much fun to talk to during the tattoo as well, and is easily one of the reasons I enjoyed the experience so much. On top of all of this, she thoroughly explained the aftercare and answered all of my questions, and even made sure I had her personal phone number if I had any more questions or problems. Angela made it clear that she was there for me if I needed anything. After this experience, I couldnt imagine going anywhere else for tattoos, and I will definitely be back for more.

I’ve never been to a tattoo place this great! Me and my best friend came in for small matching tattoos and they treated us so good. Our tattoo artist was Angela, she was so kind to us and took her time making sure our tattoos came out perfect and just how we wanted. All the staff there were so welcoming and friendly! It was very convenient that they only take walks in so we could come in whenever, I definitely recommend coming here!

I’ve been going to Eminence ink for years and they’re my favorite tattoo shop/s. I recently decided it was time to finally get my grandparents memorial tattoo that I had been trying to plan since they passed 10 years ago. I stumbled across Angela’s work and instantly knew she was the artist for the job and she did NOT disappoint. She had a very thorough consultation with me and listened to everything I had to say. She was marvelous at explaining everything: how to make the tattoo look the best and WHY it would look best without being pushy. It really felt like a collaboration which I couldn’t have been more happy with. The tattoo in total took 11 hours and the whole time she made sure I was comfortable as she METICULOUSLY tattooed away making sure everything was absolutely perfect. It genuinely felt like she cared as much about this tattoo as I do. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Not only is she an incredible artist but she’s also an incredible person and so fun and easy to talk to. Loved loved loved that experience and I’d do it the same way 100 times over!

Ive been to both the storrs and willimantic shops to get tattoos and they always treat you with a friendly nature and the utmost respect. Theyre always very accommodating, especially with walk ins which is great. I went and got this piece done by Davantie and I couldnt be more happy with how it came out. I will continue to recommend them to all family and friends. They do it for the passion not the fashion haha.

I highly recommend. I was able to book an appointment fairly quick. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. It was a great environment everyone was so kind, they kept checking in on not only me but my family that was there too. My tattoo came out exactly how I wanted and in a short amount of time. I can’t express enough how fantastic this Tattoo parlor is! I have never felt more safe and welcome anywhere! Every member of the staff is extremely talented as well as super personable and friendly! I’ve been a two time customer there for piercings my first time and a tattoo my second time! Walk-ins are welcome but your best bet is to schedule and appointment because they are a popular shop and more times than not they will be servicing other customers, but for good reason! Everyone loves them! The piercer Fame, who is also a tattoo artist was on Ink Masters, he is super chill and just overall a good dude, he was really awesome to talk to and walked me through the whole process and explained what he was doing so I felt very comfortable having him pierce me! The tattoo I received was by the lovely artist Angela, I fell in love with her art style and I knew that she would be the one to do my next tattoo! She did a fantastic job and during the whole process of it all the other artists were super friendly, offering me water and asking me about my life! I was able to ask questions right back and talk with all of them as the process of being tattooed was occurring. It was amazing to see the team dynamic between all of them because even though they are all individual artists you can tell they are a family by the way they get along. And the fact that they make you feel apart of that family while your theirs is so unique and special. I am 1000% going back there for more piercings and tattoos and if you’re looking for a place for your first tattoo, or even your 13th, 14th etc. this is the place to do it. We called last minute for Angela and she was super accommodating the entire time. I’ve spent a lot of time in different tattoo/piercing establishments, starting at the age of 15 up until the ripe age of 49 that I am now and I cannot say enough about the amazing experience I had last Tuesday with FAME! I went there to sit with a friend who was getting on going ink and I walked out with a piercing I have always wanted to get!! (Tragus). Instantly I felt very comfortable and safe and thoroughly enjoyed the studio itself and all the people there. From the artwork on the walls to the very impressive piercing room, I knew I was going to become a frequent flyer here! FAME was very kind and generous on top of his incredible talent which made the whole experience worth writing this review!! (I am not usually one to write reviews) I am looking forward to my next visit to add to 10+ tattoos!!! Thank you!!

I got my first tattoo here and have gone back for three more since then. Everyone in this shop are so warm-hearted and welcoming. I see Angela, and she kills it every time. My daughter and I went in for her Birthday and Angela tattooed both of us and she did Amazing. The Studio was very Clean, all the employees were friendly and amazing. I recently got a knee tattoo done here. Before I came here, I originally went to the parlor across the street. After being told I wouldn’t be able to handle the pain by them, I had low hopes. Then I came to Eminence, and everybody had only encouraging words and the best hopes for me. Definitely give them your business, it’s so worth it.

I got my first tattoo done by Angela and she couldn’t have made it a better experience. She made sure I was completely comfortable and explained every step of the process. Not to mention how beautiful she tattoos. 10/10 would recommend!

I got my last two tattoos from Angela a few weeks ago, she did an amazing job! She was so sweet and really took the time to make sure they were places right and came out perfect! Can’t wait to go back and get my next one!

I got my first tattoo here and am going to get all of my future ones here! Angela was fantastic and talked me through the whole thing, and gave me so many options for fonts, placements, spacing, etc. Her line work is so perfect and clean, and she made sure I got the best result possible, which I did! They want to make sure you love your tattoos forever here! Had a great experience with Eminence Ink in Storrs. The shop was clean, organized, and was playing good music. I went to get my very first tattoo with Camacho; I reached out prior to booking and shared some ideas, and he fit me in for an appointment sooner than I thought. Camacho made me feel comfortable and customized the tattoo sketch with me before we began. He checked in on how I was doing often during our session. The tattoo took around 3 hours and came out with so much detail; you can tell he put a lot of effort into the design and execution which is appreciated. There wasnt a moment during our session where I didnt trust him completely! Ill be going back to Camacho with a bigger piece that Ive been struggling to find the right artist for. Highly recommended!

My artist, Angela, was beyond sweet, helpful, attentive, and reassuring. She ensured she understood my vision to confirm the tattoo was perfect for me. In addition, she came in before the shop opened to squeeze me in, and this was my first tattoo done by her (def not my last)! She is a true angel in disguise. The shop itself was clean, calm, and inviting. The prices were pretty good for such high-quality work! I am in love with the finished piece. My only regret is that I couldn’t afford to tip her more!

Awesome tattoo shop! I’ve gone to my artist Angela twice now and she kills it every time. The first time I went she worked with me with an idea that I wasn’t sure about and made it into something beautiful that I now love. Her line work is incredible and she is just an awesome person all around! Definitely would recommend her to everyone.

My daughter and I worked with Angela for our tattoos. She was wonderful and so meticulous! We are both very happy! The other artists were very friendly, and the space is well organized, welcoming, clean, and calming. Will definitely go again!

I just got back to my dorm after getting my first tattoo, and WOW. Everyone there was absolutely so nice, and explained every step of the way. Camacho; my artist did an absolutely fantastic job and was super helpful with everything. The price was also very reasonable for the amount done and overall I walked away very satisfied. I recently had a tattoo done by Angela, and I could not be more IMPRESSED!! It was my first tattoo, and she not only improved the design but she helped me and encouraged me as I figured out where to place it. By far the best tattoo shop! The atmosphere is always chill and fun, all of the workers are super personable and nice. Eric does a killer job even when you don’t sit well! 10/10 would recommend…just make sure Eric washes his needle all the way in between colors ;)

I got my first tattoo yesterday and let me tell you, I am so proud of the outcome, it boosted my confidence by 10000. Angela did my tattoo and wow she was reassuring, she made me feel comfortable, I was so nervous but she made me feel good about myself. I got an adorable little black and white piece on the back of my upper arm by Angela (@angelarose.tattoo) and she did *such* an amazing job. My friend had an appointment earlier that day and I was just expecting to tag along and make an appointment for weeks in the future. My friend texted her artist and they gave me a phone number, and I was in with her that afternoon getting a design I really liked! Angela was awesome - super thorough, very comforting, calming presence. I cant wait to get more work done from her in the future. Its rare that as a young woman you walk into a tattoo shop and immediately feel comfortable, but thats what I got! She wasnt gatekeepy about tattooing, didnt judge my design, and really seemed to prioritize my experience. She maintained the shops flexibility with appointment making and pricing, and it really made me want to come back. I loved it! This is by far the best tattoo shop and experience one could ever hope for. I just got my half sleeve started with Camacho, and his work is something to behold. We finished a huge arm piece in one day (shoulder to elbow-outer). The line work, shading, design, black and white color, and execution are absolutely flawless. Words fail when trying to explain how masterful Camacho is at tattooing. Aside from the exceptional work, the shop is such a great vibe: good people, music, and energy. The atmosphere is incredible, and everyone here makes the whole process super enjoyable. The shop is also super neat and clean. I would highly recommend Eminence Ink to anyone who wants to get amazing art on their bodies. The prices are also SUPER reasonable for the quality of work youre getting. If youre going to have permanent artwork for life, you need to see someone like Camacho. He worked with me throughout the entire process and was super pleasant to work with. He asked if I was ok throughout the session and constantly checked on everything. I sent him my references a month out from my appointment, and he made sure to incorporate everything I wanted. His design was so good, I literally had zero criticisms and just wanted it inked immediately. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Got my first tattoo done this past week with Camacho. From the beginning of the process Camacho worked with me to make sure I was getting what I wanted. He was quick to respond to messages regardless the time. He assured me multiple times that he wanted me to have the best tattoo possible. When I got there he made me feel as comfortable as possible. Let me choose the size, placement, etc. He checked in multiple times during the tattooing to see if I needed a break and check if I was doing okay.It was definitely better than I thought. The shop was super clean and the other artists helped to make me feel as welcomed as possible. Definitely coming back once I get my next tattoo idea.

I came here for help with a small, very faded portrait. No portrait artist I had previously reached out to seemed willing or able to get this tattoo just the way I wanted, and I am very particular. I am so thankful that I was set up with Fame, I have never left a place so happy. The portrait came out better than I even thought was possible. What a phenominal artist and amazing person he his. Words cannot do justice to explain the talent at this shop. The atmosphere and energy there is so great, I cannot give this place enough stars!

Davantie did my full spinal tattoo and I love it! It’s just what I wanted and then some. Despite the tattoo he was just overall amazing, I felt very comfortable and he was cracking jokes the whole time. Tell you what Eminence Ink in storrs is an absolute great place to go if you want a tattoo or piercing!! Davante was phenomenal he is a blast to work with and so much fun. The whole time he was singing to all the songs and cracking jokes. Also the rest of the staff was great as they would come over and talk with us. WARNING.I got two piercings about a month ago and now I have a huge infection on both my nose and belly button (the two areas that were pierced). The infection stemmed from an allergic reaction I had to the metals they used for the piercing. Therefore if you are sensitive to metals I highly recommend that you do not use the jewelry they give you!Trust me you don’t want this infection.

This shop was very nice and clean which is always a good thing when it comes to stuff like this, but the prices are insane, they didn’t tell me an estimated amount before hand, maybe that’s because i called two hours before coming in but they had a photo of the design i wanted for my tattoo. All the people in the shop were very kind and fun to talk to. I got a simple band on my arm and i assumed i would get charged 100 without tax and a tip but ended up being charged 170 with tax and without a tip. Of course i did tip because she did a good job but overall i feel it is overpriced for the work i got, the art i got on me was very simple and I’m a bit bummed that it was so much.

Called weeks in advance to make appointments for a group piercings and was told appointments arent necessary, and that we could walk in for a confirmed date. We all arrive and are told the piercer is not in the store.
