Alison is a wonderful artist, and a lovely person, and I had a fantastic experience with her today! I got a tattoo of my grandpa’s (he will be 92 on September 5th) handwriting for an early birthday present from my parents, and I am absolutely in love with it! It’s his exact perfect handwriting, and it’s exactly where and how I wanted it to be. She is very thorough and detail oriented. Thank you again ❤️ I’ll definitely be back many times! (Also don’t mind the bumps on my skin, it’s just from taking the wrapping off!)

Got two tattoos at the streetsboro location. Both with Alison. One was a tattoo concept of mine that she brought to life, the other was an original piece by Alison from her flash that I was super into. Both experiences were great, atmosphere and conversation were on point and I would recommend them to anyone looking to get a new piece done.

Alison did such an amazing job! Nearly painless tattoo and she did a really good job at capturing my sweet little baby! 100% would recommend!

I recently got a Goliath beetle tattoo from the incredible artist, David. His work is absolutely stunning and he have an amazing attention to detail. He made sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire process and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. I couldnt be happier with the final product and would highly recommend David to anyone looking for a well thought out and gorgeous piece!

The shop is always clean and welcoming! Aly was exceptional! She had wonderful designs ready to go when we walked in and was so personable. We’ll be back!

My sister and I went to get tattoos to celebrate her birthday. She found the place and I am so glad she did! Angelina is a wonderful artist and super nice and just made the experience really great. She took pains to make sure everything was right and that we were comfortable the whole time. Shop was clean and everyone there was cool. Highly recommend and we would definitely go back to Angelina again!!!

Exceptional service and knowledge provided by Scott Kaczmarek. He gave my son his first tattoo. It was a great experience. He was so laid back and made us felt very welcomed! Would definitely return and refer to others!

If I could give more stars I would! Julie is phenomenal at her craft. Been coming to her for all my piercings for years, and always recommend her or really War Horse in general when people ask. Shes extremely thoughtful in her sessions with clients and really wants to work with them on finding the right jewelry, placement, and time to do everything. The queen of aftercare, and is always there to help if you have any concerns or questions prior to or following your appointment. Like I said, 10/10 will always be going back!!

I never review but I guess I gotta now because Erick is such an amazing tattoo artist and always takes care of me while Im there. All of their shops are super clean and hygiene is their number 1 priority. Ive been getting tattooed at War Horse for at least 10 years now and they have always been professional and very honest with their pricing and how long a tattoo would take. Super affordable and absolutely amazing artwork. Will forever continue going to this shop and my favorite artist Erick 😁

My experience in shop has always been great! My go-to artist, David, is so kind and patient. He takes his time with making sure the art and placement is exactly how you want it, and always makes sure you’re comfortable through the whole process. He especially makes you feel so welcomed the moment you walk into the door! I would recommend his artistry and talent to anyone!

I’ve always heard great stuff about Warhorse and all their locations. I actually have a tattoo scheduled next month in their Ravenna location, but I got a flash tattoo at the Streetsboro location last year as well as today. All the artists are so kind and personable and the shop is very clean. For the flash sale today they offered snacks and had chairs available for the line outside. Angelina did my flash and it was a pleasure to have them tattoo me. They were thoughtful and super chill during the whole tattoo and made sure I was cool with everything they were doing. Would absolutely recommend Angelina and warhorse in general to anyone looking for a tattoo and/or piercings.

My first visit to the War Horse Streetsboro location was amazing! My friends and I wanted matching candle jar tattoos. David S. was extremely professional and friendly and did an excellent job executing the tattoo design exactly how we imagined it! The lines are clean and the color is nicely saturated. I will definitely be requesting more work from him!

I stopped by this past week to get my first tattoo and it was a great experience. The artists were nice and very good at easing the tension of my nervousness. Ericks work turned out great, I plan on coming back for more and would suggest going to them for yourself.

I’ve had multiple tattoos done at War Horse by Aly K and each time has been an amazing experience! She is professional, talented and so sweet! Aly always takes her time with me and is very thorough when going over the design and placement. She always makes sure I’m 100% happy with everything before starting the tattoo and never makes me feel rushed or pressured. Julie pierced my septum and it was literally the best experience I’ve ever had out of 6 piercings I have. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable and you can tell she has a passion for piercing. Julie is AMAZING!! She is so kind, sweet, cheerful, and a great piercer! She takes the time to find the perfect spot for each piercing. It is easy to schedule an appointment with her and she follows up on your aftercare! Julie has multiple vendors for high quality jewelry so she has unique pieces and quite the selection. Ive gotten multiple piercings done by her over the last 2 years and always have a positive experience. Her apprentice Rachel is following in her footsteps as well! The price and the results are good. The scheduling sometimes changes depending on the artist so thats unfortunate.

I have been to all 3 Warhorse locations and all demonstrate a high level of cleanliness, professionalism, and provide a relaxed environment. All of the artists are extremely knowledgeable, personable, and do amazing work. I followed Amber to this location from the one in Kent and she has done 5 of my tattoos so far. Not only is Amber an amazing person but each and every time she has blown my mind with her creativity and artistic ability! Everyone I encounter admire the works of art she has given me, this of course is right before they ask for her information to schedule an appointment with her also. I wouldn’t go anywhere else or to anyone else!

I am new to the art of tattooing and Aly has been wonderful. She communicates in a timely manner, prioritizes organization and cleanliness, and creates a comfortable experience. Aly remembered my “style” from a previous tattoo she had done for me and made me feel like even my simple and small tattoo was important. The environment of the shop is female friendly. I would highly recommend Aly and this location.

OMG! This was my first piercing, and Julie was the bomb. Not only is she a great person, but shes knowledgeable, professional, and gentle. I received a nostril piercing and barely felt a pinch. They were quite busy, a good sign I suppose, and were up front about wait and cost. My piercer, in addition to fun and easy-going, was informative and answered my questions well. The space was clean and well organized too!

My friend and I came here to get her second tat and my first. Erick was super nice and worked around our schedules to fit us in as early as possible. The shop has a great vibe and everyone is very friendly and professional. Both of our tattoos look beautiful and we will definitely be coming back!

My experience was fantastic! Scott was my artist and he did an amazing job! He had a great spirit and it was an all around great atmosphere. It was great to see everyone that worked there take interest in the progression of my tattoo. I will definitely be coming back for more!

Too expensive. Amount of hours to do the work was ridiculous. A 4x6 simple floral shouldnt take 5 hrs. I know bc I have 70% of my body covered in ink. Ive been getting tattoos for 33 years so I know what Im talking about. Didnt even bother to talk or go after I was told that. In response to them I have been tattooed for 33 years and havent ever had pricing like yours or had a simple 4x6 tattoo take 5 hours. Save your money people and go elsewhere!

I got my conch pierced by Julie and I cannot recommend her enough! She is extremely kind, communicative, and helpful throughout the process. My piercing is healing very well. She is very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable around her. Again, highly recommend Julie for all of your piercing needs!

I had a fantastic experience at War Horse Ink in Streetsboro. My sisters and I went there for a memorial tattoo for our brother who passed away not long ago. The artists were so nice, chill and laid back and friendly. They are amazing people that do amazing work I highly recommend going there! I love my tattoo for my brother its so much better than the picture!

Scott was awesome. The shop is clean, well lit, cared about and smells good. Each chair is decorated by the artist interest and decor. Great place for all your tattoo and piercing needs. The shop is clean and inviting and everyone we’ve dealt with has been really helpful and very knowledgeable. HUGE shoutout to Julie Semock, Master Piercer, for her amazing skills and personality!! She has done piercings for my teen daughter and me…and she rocks!! I have been looking for a tattoo shop to call my preferred shop. I got my septum and my left nose hole done at the one by Kent university and I loved the experience. I wanted a tattoo from them so I went to their Friday the 13th sale at the Streetsboro one and despite sitting in line for almost 4 hours I was able to get a ghosty lady that I’ve always wanted.

I got my first tattoo from Scott here and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Its always good to know that you are in the hands of someone who loves what they do and really cares about the outcome of their art. He made me feel comfortable and secure for my first tattoo and it came out better than I could have ever imagined. If you want a sweet tattoo from someone who cares about seeing that smile on someones face at the end of it, I’d recommend Scott for sure.

Haven’t been into the shop yet, but i wanted to leave a review for the receptionist that helped get me in contact with an artist.I have wanted to stop into war horse for a while, hearing nothing but good things from friends, I gave them a call and they didn’t pick up, all good, tattoo shops are busy. Within five minutes Laura, a receptionist for all three locations, gave me a text asking how she could help. I was surprised to hear back so quickly, i didn’t expect much and had planned to reach out again later. She was incredibly helpful, having me detail what i wanted and connected me to an artist suited for what i was looking for. She was very friendly, polite, and overall very wonderful to work with. She went above and beyond what i would’ve ever expected, and i can’t wait for my appointment that i probably wouldn’t have booked so soon without her. This has been much more personable than any other experience i’ve ever had at a tattoo/piercing shop. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for body mods.
