What an awesome experience. I went on Friday the 13th (tattoo lovers know how hectic it can be) all the artists even after a full day of tattooing were making it fun during the wait. Doing their best work on each piece. It just shows why so many people love coming here. Clean and have a nice waiting area up front. They have multiple artists for all styles. I have officially found my new place.

I took my daughter for her first tattoo. We were getting a mother/daughter tattoo. We knew exactly what we wanted when we arrived. Jesse was our artist and he was fantastic! Even though what we wanted was letters, he still took the time to listen, make suggestions, change fonts and help my daughter feel relaxed and comfortable. The shop was clean, staff was all friendly. I highly recommend Tiger Shark for your first, second or any tattoo. Thank you again Jesse

We just moved here from NY and went in on a walk-in and got Jesse. He got us in and set up right away. We didn’t have a picture, but explained what we wanted and he did an incredible job. Came out exactly as I had pictured. Would highly recommend Tiger Shark!!

My overall experience was great, from setting the appointment to going in and getting my tattoo. I searched for the perfect artist to do my piece, as it’s a memorial for my dog that passed away. Tiger Shark Tattoo is awesome! I met Jeese about a month ago for a walk in tattoo. Such a cool guy very light handed. Did awesome work on a verse on my side. Over this weekend I went back for a tattoo in memory of my Bulldog that I had put down 2 years ago. Jesse did an awesome job! Thank you Jesse for now 2 great tattoos!

From start to finish, everything about this tattoo shop is top notch! The vibe is relaxed, the music is great, & everyone is friendly and welcoming. Artwork is beautiful and the talent is great. Customer service of the owner needs to be on the improvement list. Every conversation about our piece seemed to be an inconvenience for her, always talked to us like we were bothering her, and came off like a burden. She sent her proposal for design at 7:40 pm the night before a morning session and was unhappy when we were not 100% on board with her design. We asked her to change something we would be putting on our bodies forever and the response wasnt positive.

Did 2 tattoos within 2-3 weeks, first one by Heidi and second by Alex both great people , very humble , and very nice and helpful , clean , professional. Would definitely recommend this place for tattoos, if your thinking of getting one .-Evan

We had an appointment set up for over a week for when we headed back home from our vacation. Never got an email back from them answering any of our questions. We called and even knocked on the gate. They were late to the appointment and closed, plus they never called to check up when we werent there. I called them, and they said o our tattoo artist isnt here right now. Let me have your number. Na, we made a new appointment in St Augustine for today instead.Its a better place. Think twice before trusting this place, too make their appointments.

Heidi has done at least 80% of my ink, both new, touch up and cover up. My last tattoo was drawn freehand by her from conception to finish. Flawless. I highly recommend Tiger Shark for your next tattoo, all of the artists there are top notch professionals.-dose

I was able to get in last minute with her and get a spur of the moment piece that is so elegant and represents everything I needed it to. This is a great shop with artists that match! I have gotten tattoos from many different shops all over the US but this was the best experience I have had. Heidi did my Harry Potter tattoo and she did such an amazing job on it. She communicated with me through the whole process and even changed things last minute when I asked her to. Everyone on the team was so friendly and the place was so clean. The price was also great. I will definitely be going back for my next tattoo.

My family and I were in the area from New York visiting some relatives and decided that we all wanted to try and get a sunflower tattoo in honor of my grandmother who recently passed (which is the whole reason we were visiting the area to begin with). We called the shop a few hours before we wanted to come in and they were very accommodating and able to work with what we wanted. They got us in and got all of our tattoos done in less than two hours, at a very reasonable price. We each had a different artist and all got exactly what we wanted and were very happy with the results. It meant so much to all of us. Highly recommended this shop and their talented and professional artists.

All I can say is wow! Back in January, I got my first tattoo done by Brian. He was very attentive, helped me picked out the right spot for it, made sure I was comfortable, and made a perfect stencil for it. The results were amazing, and will definitely be coming back for my next one with Brian! The price was very reasonable and well, and the place was very clean. All the artists at Tiger Shark are amazing, I went back to get my second done by Brain as well and it went great!!!I 100% recommend coming here!

Just got done with an awesome wahoo tattoo (phase one) and I wanted to make sure I found the right place because I knew it would be a challenge. Well Kenney absolutely crushed it! I will be going back for the second and third phase in the next week or so. He is the real deal.

I’ve gone to will for 4 of my pieces and I think I found my go to guy. Love his designs and he’s always awesome to work with. Easy to set up appointments with and out of all of my tattoos I get the most compliments on his work. It’s been a while since I’ve gotten a tattoo after my last one became blurry and raised after a few years, but I finally decided to get the blurred one covered up. Not only did Heidi Gotz cover my old tattoo, she created a gorgeous piece of artwork where it was! Heidi is absolutely amazing. She took her time with the design and really made sure the placement was right before starting anything. The tattoo was on my side, a pretty painful spot, but Heidi made sure I was doing well the entire time and kept the conversation going. Even when she finished up and we looked in the mirror, she suggested a little bit more color and detail that would make it even better! We went for it and she was right- my new tattoo looks like a painting and I am so so happy and in love with it!Not only is Heidi great, but every artist there shows interest in each other’s work and supports one another. So awesome to see. The shop is clean and everyone was welcoming! Cant wait to go back when I figure out what my next tattoo will be. I met Aubri at a tattoo convention I was a part of too and while looking for a female artist, I loved her work the most. I live in Key West and have to say the drive is absolutely worth it!!! Aubri designed a piece for the entire back of my left leg and I couldnt be happier!! She created exactly what I asked for, with her own creativity. I went to Tiger Shark Tattoo Studio with my mom and grandmother. We all got matching tattoos from Kenny and he was an amazing artist. We came in with a reference photo and he was able to take it and make changes to enhance the quality of the tattoo. Additionally, this was our first tattoos and he was able to ease our nerves and make us feel comfortable. This was a great experience and definitely recommend this shop and Kenny.

My appointment was with Aubri. First off, she makes you feel comfortable and welcoming. Second, I had gotten two tattoos done. She was efficient at her job. The work was done beautifully. I already told Ill be back for her to do another piece for me. Tiger Shark Tattoo Studio is a lively atmosphere. The other artists chat with everyone and make you feel comfortable. Aubri did an amazing job tattooing a black and grey planchette on my arm, she’s super light handed and the piece is beautiful! She’s super sweet and welcoming so you feel comfortable in her chair as well.I’ve also been tattooed by Alex, he had done two separate designs on the same arm adding to my patch work sleeve. They healed so well I always get told they look fairly new when they are both 2.5-3 years old. Both of them have great personalities and talent I highly recommend them!

Alex did my first tattoo and made me feel very comfortable while I decided what I wanted. The staff was very welcoming and the facility was very clean!!! Will was very professional, took his time to make sure I was comfortable, and he even helped me pick the right spot for the tattoo. Excellent shop! Been coming since the old Aces days. Got a work done by Brian and one done by Will a few weeks ago and forgot to leave a review. The staff is always cool and it was cool going back and forth with some of the artists with getting someone to get tattooed in the first place. On our vacation to Florida we decided we wanted to get shark tattoos after doing a shark diving experience. We contact Tiger Shark Tattoo shop about a week before and Joe hooked us up with Kenny. Kenny not only did an AMAZING job, he came in on his day off just to do our tattoos!! We came with our ideas and Kenny made them his own, which was better than we expected. Shop was clean and sanitary.

Kenny D is amazing! His work speaks for itself. If you want the best artist around he’s it. I expressed what I was looking for and he drew it for me freehand. I got two tattoos here and they were so efficient and amazing. I got mine done with alex and his lines were perfect and he had a very light touch. I wanted both of mine dainty and he listened and delivered on what I wanted. Would absolutely come back here. The whole shop was so nice and clean :)

This was my second visit to tiger shark. Shop is clean, well lit, and lively. My artist this time was Aubri and she was awesome. She did a slamming job on my shoulder and arm work!! She immediately understood the idea i was going for and even brought more creativity and ideas to the table than i expected. She was very talented and knocked out the the work lickity split. Ive already scheduled my next session. Super Stoked.

I was in town here for a weekend stopped in Tiger Shark Tattoos just to see the work they do . I was very impressed with the studio its very clean & professional. Upon arriving everyone was very accommodating. I had been putting off a tattoo that I wanted to get for years after meeting Justice, I was all in. This is the second tattoo I received from Brian, the first was a sun/chandelier design as a tribute to my grandmother, this second one is a matching piece with my best friend of 15 years, both are incredibly meaningful to me and I felt that they took such care. They are truly AMAZING! If you ever follow the artists or Tiger Shark on Instagram you cannot go wrong with any of them. Their work speaks for themselves: high quality, extraordinary talent, excellent customer service, and fair pricing. My friend and I went yesterday to get our new pieces done. They are socially distanced, everyone is wearing a mask. Even before the pandemic the place smelled like a doctor’s office, which is what you want because you know they are clean! Not to mention, they are so welcoming to everyone who walks in. I cannot speak highly enough about them!

The way my friends and I were treated by Justus this past Saturday was unacceptable. He tattooed my friend on a previous visit and while he was equally unpleasant BUT mellowed out, we continued with our tattoo session. On 05/14/2022 the way we were treated AGAIN was DISGUSTING, four of us (Ladies) walked in together to inquire on getting tattoos. This was not planned on our part and since walk ins, are welcomed we did not make an appointment or call. We were greeted by a girl at the desk she was welcoming, she asked how she could help. Justus walks in, since we have worked with him before we greeted him in a friendly manor but did not receive the same in return. We let him know we were wanting to get tattooed today if he had time, we were immediately told I got no heads up, no call, no appointment and I leave in an hour, we came in early at 10 My friend stated, “We were not aware we needed to make an appointment” in which Justus replied in a crass tone “Well now you know”. We get it, cant get tattooed today, thats ok but it gets worse. A tattoo he did about two months ago now, for my friend was fading and she asked if the colors could possibly be re-touched. He went on to say that our skin tone does not take color well, which we are aware as black women some colors may not take well. He used an example which he presented verbally regarding brown paper and white paper and how color intake would be different for both. So now our skin color was being compared to the color of paper. He seemed irritated, and stated, My wife is black, and she has the same skin tone as you, so I know it won’t make a difference. Another friend of mine wanted a back tattoo of a cross he looked quickly and said it could be squeezed in today, but It would need to be a split between him and Kenny. He went to get Kenny, Kenny was very pleasant as always, he apologized for not being able to help today, he was also leaving early. Kenny advised we make an appointment, said he would be happy to assist us in the future. Justus responded without giving us the time to converse among ourselves Oh they arent looking for that. He went on to say he was telling my friend who wanted the touch up, that her skin is the same tone as my wife, and it wont work. He looked at Kenny and said, You know my wife is black” he then looked at my friend again and said, I am looking at you eye to eye, and I am not f***ing with you, it wont take, and I can feel you are giving off a vibe. At this point were so disgusted from the customer service we received. We asked for a card, Kenny tried to give us his card but Justus told him No give them the office card We took the card and left, we will never use this location and its services again. We were able to find another local tattoo shop same day, although they were not available to service us and do not accept walk-ins. They were pleasant answered our questions and assisted us in making an appointment. I would not have expected to be treated in such a manner when, I have been tattooed at this location twice and have recommended to my friends, the embarrassment endured that day is not ok. It may not matter, that four black women ever return for services but something needs to change. IF this is type of customer service provided, your shop will not be in service long. This situation did not need to turn out this way a simple “I am sorry, but we cannot accommodate today” would have suffused, along with answering a few quick questions and maybe helping us set an appointment for another time. Again, Kenny has always been pleasant.

Alex did an amazing job on my second tattoo. He was super friendly and knew exactly what I wanted. I felt very comfortable in a clean environment. It was a great experience and I ended up with a piece of art that has special meaning.

My bestie and I walked in for a small tattoo today! The staff was friendly and accommodating. We were able to see Brian Oshei right away and he did a great job! Very gentle hand and great sense of humor! Would definitely return for more of his artwork!

It’s very rare that you find such a social, open atmosphere from a walk-in tattoo shop but we found it here at Tiger Shark. Frank helped us with everything we needed and set us up with an amazing tattoo artist. Both my dad and I’s tattoos came out just as we imagined and it was done in a reasonable amount of time for an extremely reasonable price. I was referred to Tiger Shark Tattoo by a friend who has had quite a bit of work done by them recently. I contacted the shop and sent them a picture of tattoos that my sister and I wanted. They were ready by the next morning and we were paired with two extremely talented artists. My tattoo was done by Justus who was so professional and he did amazing work! I will be scheduling my next appointment with him ASAP and will be referring to Justus and Tiger Shark Tattoos as often as possible!

Was very excited to try this tattoo studio based on all of the reviews I saw. We paid a deposit as we scheduled our appointment and unfortunately when we showed up the first time, my wife forgot her license. As we lived 30 minutes away and have a 1 year old, we decided it would be best to re schedule for the following weekend, which we did. Unfortunately the day of the rescheduled appointment, we had a family emergency and were un able to attend. I let them know we needed to re schedule but needed some time to deal with the issue before picking a new date. Here comes the issue. Apparently if you re schedule twice you lose the initial deposit. Not once was I told that would happen. Not when I first paid it, not when I had to reschedule either appointments. I understand companies have policies, but exceptions should be allowed for circumstances out of my control (family emergency). Either way, I am sure they do great work, but I cant go to a place that takes money without having any compassion!

My best friend and I got a tattoo by Aubri, they were matching tattoos that we’d been waiting 12 years to get. She was so gentle and comfortable to be tattooed by. She talked the entire time and genuinely seemed excited to do the tattoo. I instantly booked an appointment with her directly after for another tattoo! Can’t wait to come back :]

Heidi reworked a foot piece and did an amazing job. I gave her a direction I wanted to go and she freehanded it perfectly. The shop was really clean, they had a super funny movie playing (bonus that it wasn’t ridiculously loud heavy music) that was distracting in all the good ways. Brian is such a unique talent. His tattoos are amazing and identifiable! His pride in his work comes through as the level of his skill and perfection shows. So i have had many tattoos before from many different artists and many different shops. Usually its what you would expect. Kinda sketchy joint uninspired artist, what ya want? Whatever ok bs attitude like im bothering them, ya get what ya want and youre out the door. Today however was my appt. Day at tiger shark tattoo studio. What a difference such a welcoming environment. My man up front was taking lunch orders for everybody! I declined but impressed. My girlfriend was up first and was having her 1/4 sleeve that she got from one of those places i mentioned before reworked touched up however the nice way of saying fixed is. And i was blown away by the result. It went from mud to sistine chapelHeidi did her thing on that. And had my ol lady laughing which isnt easy so the vibe is already where i want to be. I gave heidi an idea what i was looking for and she ran with it. Came back to put stencil and was just as pumped as me. Excited ,confident and proud of her creation like a true artist. Was actually quite bummed we didnt finish in one session. Now thats how it should be. We had fun had some laughs, and i got a dope tattoo start that i am, we are both proud to show off. Take notes guys thats how its done they raised the bar. For those wanting a tattoo book it now, what you waiting for they are booked full 2 months out and for good reason and i didnt see a single artist i wouldnt let tattoo me. First tattoo and was Alex was highly recommended. He did an awesome job explaining what to expect and making sure the tattoo was exactly what I wanted. Very clean shop and everyone was friendly. Highly recommend.

I have a couple Tattoos from Kenny D, he is a very talented artist and honestly very easy to work with. He will get your vision and is very responsive when working with him. I wanted a lot more and Kenny D is the guy that is going to do them!!

Kenny D was an amazing artist talks you through the whole thing explains every detail out to you before,during and, after. Very professional and respectful, great quality work 10/10 would recommend definitely will be back again !

Made an appointment with justus for a memorial tattoo for my grandfather and he was great. He listened to just what I wanted and was so kind knowing that I’m not good with needles. He was so light handed and the tattoo came out perfect. Will totally come back for more.

Tiger Shark as a whole is very professional. All of the artists were very sweet and considerate. I did not get a tattoo at this time, but my group did. They were very cleanly and preformed COVID preventing acts.

Will is the best! He is such a talented artist, with a really cool and unique style. But he’s always down for anything. He’s super respectful, funny, and methodical with the needle. Love him! Can’t wait to get more.
