Main Street Tattoo

Got tattooed here today for the first time and it was an awesome experience. Great atmosphere with good people. Everybody talks to each other, makes good conversation, and makes you feel like a regular client. Artists are top notch and you have to see the interior. It’s worth stopping by just to see the artwork hanging on the walls.Highly recommend.

I would have liked to give this place more stars but I am incredibly disappointed and feel deceived. I was told by the apprentice that I’d be paying an hourly rate of $150 to see Josh, I schedule my appointment and showed up with that price in mind. When I showed up the stenciling took about an hour to get it to fit the placement. (I am not sure if I was charged for this time because in the past this time isn’t charged for.) When we were finished (2.5hr) after starting he quickly wrapped my arm and didn’t have me look in the mirror or ask me how I liked it. When he showed me his phone with a price of $575 dollars I was in shock! And I hate confrontation so I decided to just pay him. However after leaving I felt like I was overcharged, maybe by accident. So I reached out to the shop by phone, several respectful emails and messaged them on social media but I haven’t gotten any response from anyone. Which makes me feel like they knew what they were doing which is taking advantage of nice people. I was charged ($230 dollars an hour) for a very simple floral tattoo. A tattoo which I expected to cost $375. Yes I also left a tip because I was raised that way and walked out paying $600 dollars for a small simple tattoo. I had hopes that they would contact me and make it right. But I’ve gotten NO response or communication. I urge people to go elsewhere.

I’m not saying the shop wasn’t clean or the people weren’t nice, but with the amount of experience they have compared to how much they charge is ridiculous, with a waiting list that goes months out for a small tattoo or even big one. I asked about a couple tattoos I had been wanting for awhile and it isn’t my first tattoo either, one of them being something as simple as covering mainly the middle of my back, easy line work and one solid color with no shading is running up $800 (with a deposit fee to add onto) is insane. My thighs werent even nearly as much and it has 10x the amount of detail. The shop is usually prone to only having one worker in there so you can never really ask around about much else. I get why I don’t see a lot of business and have been told by locals to avoid. I just wouldn’t be able to picture tipping on top of that too all for fine line wings.

The artist here have excellent quality work. Only place Ill go to get tattooed. Joe and Josh are awesome.

Joe does some amazing work, and truly knows what he is doing. The shop is super clean and whether it’s music or a movie the vibes are always great. Can’t wait to come back and get even more work done.

Joe is awesome!! Weve got 7 or 8 tattoos between me the wife and the kids and theyve all been great. These guys are just great people and I cant recommend them enough. Go see them!!

Josh and Joe have been my artists for 10+ years, and its been a awesome journey! I come in with a idea, and they make it so much better then I imagined! Great location and space, recent right hand done by Josh!

Almost 50 years old and my first tattoo. My daughter and I went in for a father/daughter tattoo. Josh (and all of the staff) were absolutely amazing. Im not a tattoo guy, but given my first experience at Main Street, Im already planning my next tattoo. Highly recommend

Ive been getting work done from Josh for 6+ years even during the Clever Rebel days. The staff are very solid, the shop is crisp and beautiful and theyre usually showing a great film. Highly recommended, about to book another appointment here soon! 👍

Main Street Tattoo is absolutely AmaZing. Their investment in the community is so welcomed. Their resilience after crazy set in their business is unbelievable. And dang Joe’s art is awesome.

Very clean and professional looking shop. Josh was very pleasant to chat with. He beautifully brought my tat vision to life and fully discussedall the aftercare instructions.

I came in with a rough idea for a sleeve. I am working with the artist Josh. He is very detailed and does quality work. I have had 3 appointments so far and everytime another peice in finished I am amazed at the beautiful work.
