Only go here if you want to bleed and be hit on the whole time, the artist tries to flirt with the females the whole time during a tattoo and wants to be the sneaky link. Tattoo looks alright but you can definitely tell the guy needs practice, going over spots with no ink and going too deep. Got referred but will not recommend to anyone.

Do not trust him! I got a really bad infection after I left. He is not clean, he reuses the same needle on everybody, he goes too deep with the needle, and he flirts the whole time and makes inappropriate gestures and jokes.

Me as a regular coming in every once in awhile. He never disappoints me one of the best tattoo artist I know in the sumter Area. So if you ever need a tattoo please go to this tattoo shop. Has a flexible schedule and will make sure to get to you.

My first time going to Fred and I must say it was a fantastic experience. Compared to other artists that I been too, he is the best. Very professional and pleasant. I love how he keeps your mind off the pain with conversation. Will return soon.

My go to tattoo guy Fred has done almost all of my tattoos and I am definitely going back for more . Fred’s shop is spacious and clean. He sanitized each time I was there before I sat in the chair and before I left. He is by far one of the best.

Was recommended. Nice enough guy. Came from NYC for a 4:00 appoint and waited 4 hours for nothing!! Constantly took people that were not on time for their appointment ahead of.me. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾 poor customer service!! I won’t be back

I have been going to Fred since 2009. He is very professional and he’s great at what he does. I literally have no complaints at all shop is always clean. He always starts great conversation to take your mind off the nervousness of getting a tattoo. I definitely recommend him for your tattoo needs. You’re awesome FRED!!!!

My parents and I are from NY but we were in the area visiting some friends and we wanted a tattoo to commemorate the occasion. He was able to get us in on pretty short notice and did amazing work. Super nice dude and he did great work. At one point I got real dizzy (I think just because I was dehydrated) but he was great about making sure I was OK and talking to me to make sure I could keep going. Absolutely would come back for another piece if we were in the area again.

I am so proud to say Fred has done ALL of my tattoos! His shop is always clean. He makes you feel comfortable and keeps you laughing through the whole process. You can book him for parties. I’ve been going to Fredrick since I was 18 and I’m now 25. He’s the only one that has done my tattoos. I live in Columbia but I definitely don’t mind going to Sumter for great work. He’s always on time with appointments, pays attention to detail in his work, any image you give him, he can do the exact tattoo as if it’s reflecting in the mirror. He also can free hand and draw. I remember a person recognized my half sleeve he did on me was his work. Great tattoo artist and very professional !

Shop site said was open untill 9PM. Rolled in on vacation at 7PM and shop was closed so we called to verify. Guy said he left early because buisness was slow. Well he just missed out on a few hundred dollars on two small easy tattoos to a tourist couple. Closing early is bad buisness. Glad we went elsewhere.
