Richard designed two large black and grey custom pieces for me — a phoenix for my back and a watery lotus flower scene for my right sleeve. The artwork even on paper was exactly what I’d hoped for, and the finished product even more stunning. I can’t begin to describe what a pleasure it is be able to trust that whatever loose ideas/themes I throw at Richard, he’ll understand what I’m looking for and design something amazing that I know I’ll cherish for the rest of my life. It’s a rare gift. I’ve recommended him to every single person who asks about my tattoos.Some nitty gritty detes: My back piece was completed in 3 4-hour sessions. He worked quickly without compromising quality and gave me breaks when I needed a breather (it was very painful at some points). My sleeve is still a work-in-progress. Due to some unforeseen circumstances in my own life, it’s taking much longer than planned to finish. The tattoo is over one year old in these photos and it looks just as crisp and clean as the day I got it. Same for my back piece. Also, I am careful with them and use sunshirts/sunscreen regularly.

Richard is courteous, professional, and an amazing artist! His designs are amazing and delivered in a timely manner. His workspace is a clean and relaxing environment. My tattoo was done in one session and I believe that it is flawless! Not only is it perfectly executed in my opinion, but it healed great with no scarring. My skin is prone to this type of thing but the work was done so carefully that I had no problems at all. I get many complements on his work and custom design wherever I go. I could not recommend him more for as he is an all around professional and a great person to talk to and spend the time with!

Ive known Richard for some years now but, never had him tattoo me. Well, it was time. I walked into Iron Wolves Tattoo with a basic idea. I told him the elements that I wanted in the piece and said, run with it in your style, giving him free reign to do so. Richard knocked it out of the park and Ive received nothing but complaints. Every tattoo on my body was done by Richard Lamos and I love them all. I started with a cover up 4 years ago and I keep coming back! Love his use of color and style. This is one I got in 2020 and I have an appointment to finish up another one tomorrow. So excited!

Amazing work. I walked in with a cluster of Pinterest ideas on my phone and my artist helped decide what would look best. With this i’m very satisfied with the ink we settled on. Clean lines and gorgeous shading.Will definitely plan on stopping in next time we’re up in Asheville

Karen and Derek saved the day for my sister and I who were let down by another tattoo shop last minute. My artist was Derek. I walked in with a concept in mind, there was no breakdown in communication, he gave me everything I asked for. For a fair price. Every one here is really friendly and easy to work with. Bliss tattoo will become my new home shop. Every thing from line work, color saturation, detail, shading and the over all craftsmanship for their tattoos. Google only lets me give 5 stars. I give them a 10. The attention to detail is excellent. Derek did an amazing job on my neck. He didnt give me a tattoo that I like, I LOVE it. This shop will continue to have my business in the future. My girlfriend and I get pseudo matching tattoos when we travel. As always, we end up looking last minute and never have a design on paper. We just have an idea. Richard listened to the idea, and drew up two absolutely perfect pieces that he nailed. Perfectly straight lines but that wasnt surprising after we looked at his artwork all over the walls. The surprising part was his ability to have a conversation while tattooing. A lot of artists are just quiet and it can get weird. Did I mention the perfectly straight lines though? Cant praise it enough because that only comes with years of experience. Highly recommend this place. I dont want yo post my tattoo because even Richard found it unique and you people can find your own ideas!!

Richard is a master of his craft. He has such attention to detail and placement. A true artist. I have three large black and gray pieces I absolutely adore and hope to get more work done soon. I am ECSTATIC with my newest tattoo, Karen absolutely nailed the style and redesign, and I got exactly what I wanted. I was pretty picky and nervous about everything and she handled it SO well, I’m very happy with my choice! Everyone working in the studio was extremely polite and professional, I highly recommend Bliss!! And, as a side note, the music choice in the shop absolutely rocks. 10/10, one of the best shops I’ve ever been to.

I just got my second custom full color tattoo from Richard and it is amazing. He also did an awesome black and gray tattoo for my son. His use of color and shading is second to none. I having been wanting a Tattoo for years. I had an idea in mind. Walking by Bliss Tattoo I commented out loud that if I got a tattoo and it looked like his art I would be very happy. Well Richard was in and came with a recommendation from someone in our group that had a Tattoo by Richard.His artistic drawing from our discussion was AWESOME. Super friendly guys who do great work! Me and my two girlfriends were on vacation and decided to try and get a small tattoo each. We were immediately tended to and each got beautiful pieces. I walked into bliss one day randomly knowing the general idea of what I wanted but wasn’t super sure. Within an hour, Karen sketched up a beautiful tattoo and absolutely KILLED it. I have never been so happy with a tattoo experience and don’t want to wear jackets because thatll cover her art! LOVE

I came in around March or April 2016. Chris done my husbands tat and my tat. We both love them. Chris done both of ours and we referred our oldest daughter which Chris also done. He is an amazing artist. I didnt feel him doing the tat at all. I would recommend him highly to anyone looking.

I never do this but I thought it was necessary. I came to Asheville with my friends for a mini vacation and we decided to get tattoos- first mistake. I was really excited because this was my first tattoo, it looked good underneath the wrap! (I got angel wings on my left hand) Later on, I realized the right wing was much smaller than the left, blotchy, and not perpendicular. I waited a few days to contact the tattoo artist in attempt to possibly see what we can do to fix this but her only answer was to drive back to North Carolina, 11 hours from my hometown so she could try to touch it up. Id have no complaints going back to if I wasn’t a full time student athlete with a full time job. Her response was unprofessional and the quality of this tattoo is horrible, beyond measure of a ‘touch up’. I paid $100 for a finger tattoo the size of a dime so I expected a little bit more. I am a very understanding when it comes to things like this but this is something that I will have to live with on my finger until I can find someone who could possibly fix it closer to home. I despise writing these reviews and I just wanted to make things right in the first place!!!

Bliss Tattoo is a very special place as I have been the hugest fan of Richard Lamos’ work and vision for decades. I, personally, wear his beautiful art for which I receive endless compliments. Those of you who are lucky to live close enough to get tattoo’d at Bliss are fortunate, indeed, because it’s a really nice place and his work is impeccable and ever-evolving plus he’s a genuine person. I really enjoy watching from afar through IG and Fb.

I had a cover up done here a few weeks ago and it healed so nicely! Freddie was professional, kind, and their space is clean. Great spot if you’re looking for a retro/classic style tattoo with bold lines and shading.

Clean shop with its own parking lot on Haywood Road! Cant go wrong there! I was a walk in for a simple heartbeat tattoo and the 3 staff members in the shop were awesome. They got it drawn up and it was exactly what I was thinking. Got it all going, quick and easy. I will be going back for future work!

Got my first tattoo here, Derek was my artist, he is very good artist who listened to what I wanted. As someone who comes from a family who does not have tattoos he was very good at explaining what to expect and his artwork is amazing

Looking online, their line work and shading looked wonderful. My boyfriend and I decide to go in and get a matching tattoo (California state bear with the star and each others initial)The guy was very courteous (at first) however, once we took the bandage off, washed off and look a close look. We noticed the lines were over drawn, & crooked. Our stars werent complete: as they were not connected fully and the shading surpassed outside of the lines. My boyfriends m was VERY poorly traced, as it was incredibly wobbly. We returned after having analyzed the tattoo and the guy that did them was in complete oblivion to his shaky line work. Looks like a 5 year old took a needle to the skin. I attached a picture.Of course I could get it tweaked a bit and finished off CORRECTLY, but I definitely will not be coming back nor recommending this shop. Extremely disappointed with the quality of the tattoo over-all.

If youre under the impression that having a piercing is just as easy as running to Wal-Mart to the jewelry section, thats not where it starts. Me, personally Ive always gotten infections even wearing 14k, so I knew that I needed to go to a professional piercer. After reading all sorts of reviews I decided to go with Amber. I wouldnt have known how in depth the process really is. After getting to know her, and seeing the good quality of good work that she does. From helping me choose just the right gem, to her gentle sanitary practices, I couldnt be happier to choose and recommend Amber!

I got my first piercing along with my first tattoo a year after my peircing here. I really wish you guys still did peircings, because I was looking to get my helix peirced haha! The person that did my peircing was a woman, I assume that she was maybe the only one that did peircings, Im not sure. But anyways, Andrew was the guy that did my first tattoo and he was really cool and respectful the whole way throughout the process. It took 3 1/2 to complete, and he was always willing to take a break when I needed one. If I ever decide to get another tattoo, this will for sure be my number one choice! You guys rock!

Richard Lamos is an amazing artist, tattoo and otherwise. I have seen him lay down countless works of art on peoples skin. My tattoo from him is a decade old and never touched up, still brilliant.

Chris was my man, I havent had any ink in 10 yrs, he put a piece on my neck, it turned out great, he kept me talking and my mind off of whats going on, my wife loves the ink he did, the color has held nicely and he is not have handed at all, no scaring, I will go back soon for my next piece.

If you are looking for sacred geometry, dotwork, or superior black and and grey shading go see Chris Guarascio. Bliss is small but very private. I love the ancient eastern art motif. The shop is very cozy. If you are looking for one of a kind pieces, go there :)

I walked in to ask a few simple questions and was met with the rudest attitude Ive ever experienced from a shop owner. The one person running the store acted like he did not want costumers at all. I walked out the door in the middle of a sentence because I felt so uncomfortable.
