Pleasure In Pain Tattoo

I have been coming to Pleasure in Pain for a few years now and I always leave extremely happy whether it’s for a tattoo or piercing. The entire staff is fantastic and very knowledgeable. Everyone is so helpful and kind. I recently got a tattoo from an artist named Nicole. I told her what I was looking to get and she came up with something and tattooed it better than I could have imagined. I will be coming back soon for more tattoos from Nicole. I have been seeing Nicole semi frequently in the last few months and she has been a great artist to work with. She recently did a custom design of my cats for me and it came out amazing. She never fails to impress me with her skills! She’s very creative and makes the experience fun and comfortable! Highly recommend anyone looking for fun american trad tats :)

I made an appointment with Sami to get a conch and helix piercing. She was such an amazing person who made the whole process smooth and stress-free. She listened to what I wanted and exceeded my expectations with placement and the piercing procedure. I was nervous but she made me feel at ease the whole time which really makes a difference in the experience.The facility was clean and the staff was warm and welcoming. Ive been going to Terri for about a year now. Not only is she super sweet and friendly, but she also listens to what my vision is. She gets me, and she never ever disappoints. Her work is incredible. I absolutely love every tattoo she has done for me. I highly recommend her.

Went in for a rook piercing today and instantly felt welcomed by the friendly staff upon arrival. Sami did my piercing and was extremely nice and made me feel very comfortable! The shop is kept clean and everyone there was very professional. Sami walked me through the whole process of my piercing and was done before I knew it, quick and easy! I love my new piercings and know where to go in the future when I’m ready for another one! Thank you Sami for such an amazing experience!

Hands down best place to get a piercing! Sami is awesome - Not only is she very friendly she’s incredibly professional! She did my double nostril piercing which came out amazing and healed perfectly. Dana did a new piece to go with the theme I plan to continue for a right sleeve located in Taunton. He did excellent shading and great art work. I recommend him for his detail and passion when it comes time to art. I will be going to him again numerous times.

Sami is incredible!! Truly one of the top best piercers around. I just got my eyebrow done by her, and she took her time with me to make sure I liked the placement, angle, jewelry type, etc. The piercing went so quickly, I didnt even have time to flinch- I was comfortable the whole time! She is so warm and welcoming- and insanely talented. Also, her setup is immaculately clean. If youre thinking about getting pierced, absolutely go to her!!

We went today and got my nieces nose pierced.We saw Sami , she explained every step and after care , also recommended products.My niece is on the spectrum and doesnt do well with being touched or new people.But Sami made her feel so comfortable, we will be back next month!!!.. highly recommend her ❤ Thank you ......

Brought my daughter in to get her ears pierced and had a great experience. Place was really clean and the staff was awesome. They took time to explain the process, after care, and provided contact info in case we wanted to follow up.

I took my teen daughter to get two ear piercings and a nose piercing today and it was a fantastic experience. The shop is very clean and the decor is awesome, lots of cool stuff to look at while you wait.And Sami was absolutely amazing with my daughter. So friendly, wonderful attitude and had great conversation with my daughter and I.She was clean, professional, explained everything she was doing to my daughter and made sure she was okay after each piercing. Hands down 10/10 would recommend for piercings!

Pleasure in pain is my go to for my tattoos. I see the artist there tara and I love her work and love her. She’s so sweet while tattooing you, her work is really amazing and I’ve gotten numerous tattoos from her already. And I will be going back for more. The place is always clean and neat. The staff at the desk is always very nice and pleasant. They make you feel very comfortable and you enjoy being there while you are getting any work done. I can’t wait to be back for more. Also have gotten a nose piercing from Sam. She fit me in last minute. She’s always very kind and sweet. Most importantly everything is very clean and professional. I recommend everyone to them when the conversation is about tats or piercings.

I have multiple tattoos from this shop, including a whole beautiful sleeve done by Tara. I’ve seen Shelby, Rob, and Jesse for different styled tattoos and have loved every single one of them. All of the artists are amazing, they’ll work with you on your design and answer any questions you have. I’ve also seen Sami for piercing jewelry changes and she is so gentle and knowledgeable about piercing after care. The shop is clean, organized, and well stocked with all the after care supplies you’ll need. I get so many compliments on the tattoos I’ve gotten here and recommend Pleasure in Pain to everyone.

Went in for a tattoo cover up, Dana was my artist. I wanted a winnie the pooh over my old tattoo. One of these 15 year old undergrounds most of us are guilty of. From consultation to the actual appointment, it was wonderful, and I couldnt be happier with the end result. Granted, it wasnt the original image I had in mind but Dana explaining the reasoning for the change it worked. Definitely happy with the whole process and end result

First went to reopen some ear piercings and Sami was awesome! Professional work, clean practices and great conversation. Later on got my first tattoo with Terri and am so happy! My experience was excellent. Prior to my appt she answered many questions and entertained my many ideas, and even responded to Insta messages after I made my appt. She worked with me to make sure I was happy with everything(as seen in the many times we moved the stencil 😅) and checked in with me throughout the process. She was very professional and practiced in a sanitary way. Very happy I chose this studio for my work. Of course- now I want more!

I’ve been going to Tara since August of this year. Started as a simple cover up but then after she drew up what she was somehow able to grasp from all of my rambling about what I wanted?? Wow! I’m now working on a full sleeve! Her knowledge and ability to tune in to what her clients want, on top of her talent to just sit there and draw it up and put it all together for you… and then her insanely precise work? Just amazing! The whole business is amazing! Super clean, comfortable atmosphere, the owners and the entire staff are all so friendly and just down to earth people! Five stars all the way!

I had an idea of what I wanted for a tattoo and told Tara- she thought it was a fantastic idea and we scheduled a time. Never would I have thought that the idea I had could become something so much more. She took my idea and made it something incredible- a true representation of who I am. The shop was clean and bright. Every artist in the shop stopped and complimented my tattoo. I will never go to another shop again!

Tara Lynn is an incredible artist. From the moment I walked in to consult on my difficult cover up, she made me feel welcome and heard. She was honest about the process, and helped me set realistic expectations. The design she came up with blew my mind, and our 2 4-hour sessions came with a side therapy (bonus!). The most professional and knowledgeable tattoo and piercing studio. All the staff is friendly and help guide you in the direction you are envisioning. I have been coming here for tattoos and piercings for years. Most recently a tooth gem because why not.Sami, who does the piercings has so much knowledge and talks you through it every step of the way. Only piercer I will go to from now on. Jeff who does my tattoos can’t even be described with words. Such amazing talent and has such perfection for his work!

Sami is the best! She’s done a few of my piercings and they’ve all healed amazing, better than other piercings I’ve gotten other places. She’s fast, knows what she’s doing and makes it as painless and comfortable as possible, plus she’s sooo nice and super easy to talk to. I’ll forever trust her with all my future piercings! The shop is clean and all the staff I’ve talked to have been super nice as well. Couldn’t recommend this place & Sami enough!

There are tattoo parlors, and then there are tattoo artists. When you are looking to express yourself with some beautiful body art, then Pleasure in Pain will NEVER disappoint. Each artist is a true professional, and you will carry their work proud. I have had several work done there. My wife will never go anywhere else but here. My son wants his first tattoo and guess where we are taking him. Yes, here. People equate price with tattoos, but there is a difference with that logic. You can get cheaper and you will have just a tattoo. Or you can work with a true artist like the ones here at Pleasure in Pain and get a true work of art that you will be proud of.

I had an awesome experience at the shop in Taunton. Went in to get the first tat I have gotten in years, and I was greeted by the nicest staff at the front desk. The shop was set up awesome with all the gear and merch right when you walked in, and it was a very clean and comfortable setting. Tara, of course, hooked me up with an amazing tattoo I got in honor of my Gram that had just passed the week before. 10 out of 10 would recommend, I will be going back again to finish my arm.

Hands down the best piercing spot to go to! I’ve been going to Sami for over 2 years now and she has been an absolute blessing. My skin is wicked sensitive and I told Sami this, she was so knowledgeable about what type of jewelry to use and different types of ways to make sure my piercing was healing the best way it could. I will not let anybody else pierce me since I’ve been going to Sami. She is always smiling and her presence is so welcoming. Definitely a safe space for sure! Can’t wait to go back and get more piercings (:

My wife got a new piercing here, and the customer service is great. Nice comfortable and clean studio as well as knowledgeable staff! They gave thorough aftercare instructions, and offered to check on the piercing if there appear to be any issues or complications.

Tara was amazing covering up an existing tattoo and was able to capture exactly what I wanted plus some with just a few pictures and ideas. The shop itself is extremely clean and comfortable for those long sessions! Highly recommend the artist and the shop!

My nose piercing had closed over a weekend and I called Pleasure in Pain to see if they could re-open or re-pierce it. The lady on the phone was so kind, explained the whole process, and I got an appointment the very next day. Sami was so great, super knowledgeable, and professional. She explained everything to me, and made me feel very safe & comfortable. This is the only place I will ever go to get pierced! 10/10 truly such an excellent experience! Thank you Sami!

They just want your money and don’t care about the quality of their work. It was my first tattoo and they completely took advantage of me. The guy that did the stenciling of my tattoo messed up so bad I would wake up every morning look down at my leg and just cry. I talked to the owner about it and he asked if he could fix it for me free of charge because I already paid $750 for an OUTLINE! So we scheduled an appointment and the owner started tattooing trying to fix the mess and maybe 10-20 min into the tattoo he asked me how much I was considering on spending that day. I ended up giving him another $250 on top of what I paid and the tattoo still didn’t turn out even close to what I originally wanted. They really traumatized me years later and I still look at my thousand dollar tattoo and hate it.

Great place for starting or continuing your body mod journey! Not only does the shop have extremely talented and passionate staff for tattoos and piercings, everything is kept super clean and they follow proper disinfecting and sterilizing procedures that you can always expect to be upheld.I love tattoos but am awful with pain tolerance, their artist Tara Lynn at the Taunton location is so patient and works hard to make the experience go as smooth as possible and let me take as many breaks as I needed. She masterfully camouflaged scarring on my arm that’s virtually impossible to notice now, and did both tattoos in these photos. First is 1yr healed and the second is fresh.They have artists who specialize in florals, realism, traditional, black and gray, pointillism, geometric and so much more on top of that.I was nervous going in as I can be shy at shops but the energy at Pleasure in Pain will put you at ease. I’ve been back 3 times since my first appointment and will always recommend them.

Chelsea Slater is amazing especially if you want any color detail she did my Jack and Sally tattoo with color I wanted and added some of her ideas into design and came out awesome if you want anything Tim Burton shes ur artist but does amazing work regardless of theme they are all really down to earth and enjoyed my time in the shop and people were in love with my tattoo

I can’t begin to describe how excellent the service is at Pleasure in Pain. The staff are welcoming, kind, and give 115% into their work. Three years ago I had a tattoo done by Tara and to this day it’s still pristine as ever. The tattoo has been standing up to the test of time by holding on to its colors and intricate design. To be honest, after it healed, I didn’t even need to get it touched up. I recently have been craving another tattoo and wanted the same exact outcome as the previous tattoo. Contact and scheduling with Tara was easy. When I sent what I wanted, she asked all the right questions and provided input to make this into another great tattoo. As I was getting my tattoo done, Tara catered to every need and request to ensure this was as comfortable as possible (I don’t have the best pain tolerance) for me. She’s also a great conversationalist. When the tattoo was finished, I was once again blown away by her skills as an artist. The tattoo itself was a complex geometric design with various shapes and colors. The color came out better than expected, as she provided her own expertise and recommendations to make the colors pop. Her lines and shapes were perfect and even. I can’t even begin to express the elation I felt after seeing this. I highly recommend Tara as a tattoo artist, you will not be disappointed.

First time I went was to get my ears re-pierced and my nipples pierced. Sami was great and adressed all worries I had even after they were done. Went in to get my nose pierced today, I was under the impression that a hoop could be put on right away unfortunately only a stud can be until its healed for 4-6 weeks. I called ahead to schedule my appointment and put my deposit now and mentioned hoops on the phone, although I did not straight out ask if hoops were an option right away the conversation left me with the idea that was something that could be done. I walked out with nothing but a lost deposit with something that could have been specified over the phone. Looked on the website and it also wasn’t specified there and last time I was charged 100 for my ears even though there is a repierce cost of 45, im not sure if that only applies to piercing done there as again it was not specified. Although I was asked if I wanted anything else pierced I didn’t have my heart set on anything else. Kind of disappointing.

Got my half sleeve done by Tara a few years ago and I am still just as obsessed with it as the day I got it! I get so many compliments on it and I am stopped all the time by strangers who praise her artwork. As an artist myself I am proud to wear it forever! Can’t wait to finish the full sleeve in the future!

I went in today and miss Tara hooked me up with an awesome tattoo. It came out perfect. I beyond happy with her work. She’s such an amazing artist. The whole crew makes you feel welcomed. Easy to talk to. We laughed the whole time. My wife has a whole sleeve done by Tara. And I was lucky to get my first tattoo in mass done by this wonderful artist. I highly recommend this shop. The apprentice was very rude to me when I told her that I knew another shop that would do my tattoos for less than what she was charging. I am an honest person and she told me she couldnt put the color in my tattoo and it would take 3 hours. Ummm no thank you. You didnt have to get mad though.

Rob McElroy at Pleasure in Pain is the best! He is such an amazing artist and absolutely nails so many different styles of tattooing. Hes in the process of working on my 6th piece with him, and Im already blown away after the first session. Hes quick, professional, very clean, and his work is top-notch. Highly, highly recommend this studio and specifically Rob!

Sami was a perfect dream to work with! Compassionate and kind, the staff was professional, the store was impeccable and they had great security for health in place! My first piercings, its a slippery slope Im getting more done!

I have tried to work with owner and team unfortunately its been not good all around. The service on the phone was terrible, response times are more than a week and some of the staff can be rude and unprofessional. I didnt want to rate this however I been waiting on a tattoo redo that they did and its been over a week. The pricing isnt reasonable, I the customer chase them and I really wanted to support a business that did both my tattoos however has changed for the worst. I wouldnt recommend them nor will I repeat give repeat business. I did try to give time and fair evaluation however I dont think they care about the customer or the business each person brings.

Took my daughter for her 1st tattoo as a new adult & got one for myself too. The shop is immaculately clean & the staff is cheerful & helpful with any questions you may have. They definitely make you feel welcome. Both my daughter & I had Dana Morse & he did an amazing job on both of us. Both my daughter & I plan on going back to him soon for some additional pieces we would like to have done.Definitely check them out!

I went to get my nipples pierced here from Sami. I did have a lot of questions before setting my appointment up. Sami and other associates, if Sami wasnt available, answered my questions clearly. Sami was phenomenal in putting me at ease while she was prepping me for my piercing. Shes very sociable, which helped to distract me, and very friendly.

Went on Wednesday to get my nose pierced they have a special for 35 dollars. The gentleman who did my nose piercing did an awesome job piercing. It was very clean their and very fast got done in less then 5 minutes.

Ive gotten both of my tattoos there and loved both of my artists. Theyre all amazing! I had a handwriting tattoo done for a deceased family member an they copy and replicated it perfectly! Ever since Ive gotten mine, I recommend it to all of my friends & all of their tattoos are amazing too! I had rob & Tara, they were both so personable and the prices are not bad, 80 minimum but definitely worth it

I’ve used their piercing and tattoo services at both locations and recommend them to everyone I meet. Shelby and Sami in Taunton, and Devon and Isis in Attleboro specifically.Everyone here explains everything really well, makes you feel 110% comfortable, and the place is immaculate.I’ve had experiences elsewhere where artists have made me feel kind of dumb/rushed/not important. Not here! Everyone is very welcoming, supportive, and lovely.I can’t imagine how much stress artists these days endure with Covid and people having to cancel appts short notice. I’ve watched both locations have very empathetic and reasonable policy changes during the pandemic. Everyone is doing their absolute best with a smile on their face. Thanks guys!10/10 would recommend.

I went with my friend to get her helix pierced.The woman at the front desk was very kind and helped us get checked in. We waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes, 10 minutes past our scheduled appointment time. When we got into the room, the piercing went as a usual piercing goes until the cleaning part. The woman piercing my friends ear only cleaned the front of the piercing. When we left to pay, her ear started bleeding again, and we had to go back into the room to clean it again. When we were paying, the woman was going over how to clean it and got snappy with my friend. When we got into the car to leave, we realized there was a trail a blood running behind my friends ear. The woman also HIT MY FRIEND WITH A CLAMP. It was unintentional, but still extremely unprofessional. I think this tattoo and piercing parlor is a last resort choice.

Very professional establishment, super clean and welcoming. Got a tattoo from Jess the other day and I love it, she listened to me and what I wanted asked for my opinion and made the tweaks she thought was needed. Great experience, was the first time Ive actually had a conversation with my tattoo artist (Im awkward af). I certainly plan on getting more work done there in the future.

Great staff. Super clean. Rob has done three pieces for me; a beautiful portrait of my mom and script on my forearms. I had some real basic ideas of what I wanted with the script and he came up with the art. Not your average script... real nice stuff. But the portrait is wicked sweeeeeet. Means a lot to me and to my dad to see how I honored her.

Highly recommended!!! The shop is very clean and professional. Tara fixed an old tattoo on my back and I couldn’t be happier with it!! She is very gentle and does solid work all around. I wouldn’t go any place else or use anyone but Tara to get work done!! :)

Got my nose pierced here and it was my first experience with any sort of body mods. Sami did great with answering questions I didn’t know i had and was very thorough in making sure i walked outta there comfortable. Will definitely be going back in the future.

Had a great experience got both my nipples pierced. My piercer made me feel very comfortable and relax which made the piercing part go by very quick and painless. 10/10 recommend going here.

I had a great experience here in February. Kevin did my tattoo and he was very patient with me about positioning my stencil just right. I needed a little touch up a few weeks later due to how it healed but Kevin was more than happy to do it for me. Definitely going back to him for future tattoos.

The whole team is great. No matter the style of tattoo you want someone there specializes in that style. Theyve won tons of awards and take pride in the work. Very reasonable prices and great work. Been going there for over 15 years. We live out of the state now and still travel up to get tattoos. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I have not had a tattoo done there. Ive heard great things. I just dont have $200 just to get a tattoo I have colored cuz it came out grey instead of black like my trench coat. I have never in my life said they suck, the artwork inside is amazing!!! I would get a tattoo there if I had +$900 For a tattoo on my upper right chest, but sadly I dont have that kind of cash.

Today Im getting my Lion tattoo with a crown, just the face ,with a few little details. On my right forearm. Cant wait! I would give 100 stars if I could! Great tattoo place. Had my third tattoo done awhile back as a birthday present for myself by Dana he copied the quote I had translated by someone else perfectly not only in the language it’s written in but also the persons own handwriting absolutely brilliant I tell you. I have more planned for the future and plan on going here again for them
