Went in spur of the moment to get a tattoo. Had the pleasure of working with Magnus. He did a great job and was so kind and accommodating. I would definitely recommend him and plan on using him again!

First impression was over the phone, amaizing customer service. All questions answered and they do take walk in same day. Extremely clean, friendly and just outstanding. Would highly recommend to anyone. If you can, book time with Magnus, killer name, dynamite attitude and stellar abilities. Will definitely go back.

I love it here! Everyone I’ve met here has been super friendly and welcoming and the shop itself is clean, well decorated, and inviting. I see Susannah for my tattoos and she is absolutely amazing! The amount of talent she has is astounding and I’d trust her to tattoo anything on me honestly. She’s an amazing person and I couldn’t have asked for a better tattoo experience!

Saw Carlyn for a floral pattern tattoo. She was great. Outstanding results. Sharp crisp line work and highly detailed. Great color dynamics. Glad I choose her to do my first.

Jeffrey James & Caryn are my favorite artists in the tattoo industry. Jeff has done over half a dozen jobs for my family & NOBODY has ever said anything negative about it. These folks tend to be busy so go visit & discuss schedule and artwork. Believe me, busy is not a bad thing. It just means theyre trusted by many.

Tonight was our first time at Eternal, let alone with Jeff and we could not be happier. My daughter was getting her 4th tattoo and she was really really nervous because this one had a lot of extra details. Jeff was professional, very friendly and welcoming, had us talking the entire time and even pulled a movie up on his computer screen as a welcomed and added distraction making the atmosphere that much more relaxed. One of the most talented artists we ever met. We will definitely be back. :)

Jeffrey James is top notch did amazing job on my husband’s sleeves and chest and also did beautifully on my tats as well !

My daughter has gotten 2 tattoos done here by Jeff and they are both absolutely amazing. He is such a talented artist. Hes also funny and smart to boot. All the artists here seem to be extremely talented. This is also one of the cleanest places, they do everything sterile and they have adorable decor. Highly recommend.

Susannah is an incredibly talented artist. I am so happy with my tattoo and plan to see her again in the future. If you are looking for realism, floral, color she is simply THE BEST! This shop is clean and comfortable - I put my trust in her and I’m so glad I did!

I have gone to Susannah here for about the past 4 years. She is an absolutely amazing artist and an incredibly nice person!! I have been SUPER happy with all the work I have received from her. The shop is super clean and nicely decorated, and not intimidating like a lot of tattoo shops.I wish I could get all future tattoos here.

Ive been going to Susannah at Eternal Tattoos in Taylor for over 3 years. Shes done a beautiful floral half sleeve on my left arm and a gorgeous piece on my leg. Her work is phenomenal, as is all of the artists in the shop. The shop itself is clean, stylish, professional, yet comfortable. Every one there makes you feel welcome. This is DEFINITELY the best tattoo shop in Southeast Michigan and for sure one of the best in the state. You cant go wrong with any of the artists here, but I especially love Susannahs work :)

Jeffrey James & Caryl are absolutely wonderful artists! Ive been with them for almost 6 years and I also have a friend who is a relative of the owner. I went with my daughter when she got her first tattoo 2 years ago, and again today for her 2nd. Extremely clean, well-run business. Very impressed with everything here. Shes only had Susanna do her tattooing, and she is amazing. Everyone else there have also been nothing but professional, friendly, and amazing artists in their own right. If its your first or 50th, I highly recommend this business.

The tattoo I got is better than I ever envisioned. Absolutely beautiful bugs and butterflies by the very sweet Susannah. So glad I found her I get compliments anytime I wear a top that shows off my beautiful artwork.

Tony Wise is an AMAZING artist!! He was worth every penny. Tony did a dog portrait on my leg and it is spot on. My dog was even impressed. 🤷🏻‍♀️🐶 His prices were reasonable, but were no match to the service I received. The shop is full of very talented and professional artists. The place was spotless and I will definitely be back. Thank you again Tony!

I went in today wanting a flower tattoo, and Tony Wise was so great. His prices were great and so was his service. This was my first tattoo and he made the experience so nice. I’m in love with my tattoo and I’m so happy I made the decision to get my first tattoo from him!!

I went to see Susannah based on a recommendation from another artist. Initially when going to speak with her I was shocked to find that she was booked until March 2019! However, it must have been my lucky day because she had a cancelation and was able to get me in a week later. She did a FANTASTIC job! This was my first tattoo so I was extremely nervous. Suzannah was very patient, understanding, and let me take breaks whenever I needed. She even sought out some candy and a protein shake for me to help me regulate my system. I can see why her talents are highly sought after. Clean studio space, fresh instruments, made me feel completely at ease. Thank you for an amazing experience. If I ever get more, Ill be back!

Susannah has a very impressive skill set and does exquisite and professional work. Some of the negative reviews on here were done by misinformed individuals who never even recieved work from the shop. I would recommend.

I’m visiting here in Michigan and I had to leave my piercing cleaning solution at home cause it was over the fluid ounce limit for a carry on and while looking for it, even though the shop didn’t carry it, the woman (me who I failed to get her name) was very nice and provided me some helpful information! Also the artwork and piece she was working on another client looked phenomenal! Best customer service out of three shops I went to today looking for my product!

Eternal = quality, so you can be confident with anyone there, but Caryl Cunningham and Susannah Griggs are phenomenal. If you want fine art on your skin, these are the people to talk to. Be prepared to book an appointment in advance, but they are absolutely worth the wait.

I have had multiple pieces done here, I get the utmost respect and fabulous artwork each and every time. One of my favorite shops. Susannah is AMAZING!

Safe to say Ive had a lot of time with Jeff. My first tattoo was actually done by Tramp in 1982 in Livonia. Only shop he had at the time. PLEASE TRAMP RECOLOR IT!! PLEASE! Ill give you whatever you want,,,,,well,,,within reason. Thanks Tramp, for giving the Metro area an awesome, talented and clean chain of places to go.

These artists are world travelers who attend tattoo gatherings by invitation...and attend regularly international tattoo events. No slouches here! Jeffrey James, Dennis Warner and Tony Wise are some of the most respectful men in the business!

Went to see Caryl with excellent results. Actually pretty cheap for comparable quality! Really friendly, professional, and personable. Im definitely headed there for my next piece.

Ive had two tattoos done at Eternal in Taylor, both done by Dennis Warner. Both were cover-ups of smaller, older tats replaced by larger pieces. Dennis is a great artist and I couldnt be happier. My wife has had 3 pieces done by Dennis and absolutely loves her tats.

Jeff James is the best. Always does great work. He has designed 8 tattoos for me and they all look awesome. I would highly recommend him.
