Red Arbor Tattoo

Loved this whole experience. Was worried about finding a good tattoo shop while on the road, and Red Arbor did not let me down! All the artists in the shop: Libby, Mia, Tanya, and Savannah were super kind and kept conversation going the whole time. Great experience from these guys, I will definitely be back!! My artist was Savannah and her work was beautiful!

I called Red Arbor on a whim on a Saturday to see if they could do a small script the same day. This was a chance for me to get my first tattoo and get a feel for how I would tolerate the whole process. Libby was available that afternoon and she did such a nice job for me. Libby is efficient, thoughtful and certainly skilled. The tattoo looks great and Im currently working on a more complex piece with Red Arbor. They have a clean and comfortable place and the staff are all helpful and friendly. Check out all of the artists work on Instagram. I challenge you not to find an artist that you can connect with.

Red Arbor set up a fun Get What You Get for us!! We got to roll a die and get amazing souvenir tattoos during our trip to South Dakota. The shop was beautiful, had a fun vibe and super clean and comfortable! Everyone we came into contact with passed the vibe check! The best part was Libby! She is so fun to work with and so talented! She made sure we were comfortable and got exactly what we wanted! If I lived in the area she would be my constant go to for tattoos! Thanks Red Arbor for being so amazing!! 🥳❤️

Mia did my wave, mountain, and my dads mountain and did such an amazing job. She was also very flexible and willing to work with my design needs, as was Payton who did my butterfly tattoo. I have received many compliments on all of them, would recommend them to anyone, and would definitely go back!

L went in today to get my second tattoo with two of my closest friends and our first impressions of the place seemed promising. We worked with Savannah for both of our designs and she was prompt in getting them done. One of the bigger issues we had was in the way Savannah approached us about the design. She was very judgmental and made zero effort to hide that. The way she would look at us, speak towards us, and act around us was EXTREMELY unprofessional and uncalled for. She wasn’t very friendly and made it seem like doing her job was more so an inconvenience. We all found it interesting that the nicest she was during our visit was when it came to swipe our cards. We are both content with the tattoos we had gotten but were rather dissatisfied with the service considering the expense that came with it.

I had an appointment with Trevor for my very first tattoo. I was so nervous & he didn’t make me feel dumb for feeling nervous or my tattoo choice (which is what I was nervous about lol). I got a tattoo of my dog’s paw print & the tattoo turned out EXACTLY like the print I brought in to him. It was more perfect than I hoped it’d be. He was also super nice & we had chill coversation while he was tattooing. The shop was also super clean & cute. My overall experience was amazing & I will definately be back for my next tattoo!!

I wish I could give them 10 stars! The owner makes the environment so clean and comfortable. Mia was my artist and she took her time and did amazing detailing. Super happy customer and will be back!

If I could give a million stars, I would! You don’t come across many tattoo shops that remember you, especially after a small tattoo! The entire staff is so welcoming which sets such a positive atmosphere!I got my first tattoo here from Cory and my second from Johnny. Both of these guys are AMAZING!Cory did a small piece for me and it healed so well that I didn’t need touch ups!Johnny did my first big piece and I was so blown away with his work! We even finished it in one sitting!I’m in South Dakota for work and I would definitely travel from Texas again just to get tattooed by them!

Cayla is a great tattoo artist. I’ve been in for two tattoos now and will definitely be in for more. She is very easy to get a hold of and gets me an appointment fast. I’ve had her do line work tattoos, and her lines are perfectly straight and I haven’t had any issues with fading. Highly recommend her especially for female clients as she makes me feel so comfortable and chill.

Best tattoo studio in the Sioux Falls/ Tea area. Every artist here is professional, clean, creative and most importantly honest. They dont tattoo just for the sake of tattooing. Every artist at Red arbor is art and customer satisfaction focused.

This was my first ink experience. From initial contact through finished artwork, the staff at Red Arbor Tattoo in Tea was amazing to work with. Ultimately, I was paired with Payton and for me it was a perfect match. I provided my design thoughts and Payton created the beautiful artwork designed to remind me every day of the special places my wife, children, mother and maternal grandmother hold in my heart. Correspondence, the consultation, and the creation stages were all handled in a very professional manner and Payton did a fantastic job of making my vision a reality.Thank you for doing a great job Payton. I would highly recommend anyone looking to get their first ink, or add to their existing ink, do so with Red Arbor Tattoo.

It was a long wait from consult to first ink, and I had to drive through a blizzard, but Ryan was so worth the wait. I am just blown away by the start of my sleeve and his compassionate bedside manner. Ryan had some real challenges with my skin, but he rose to the challenge and covered the underlying skin problems so I can only see a gorgeous tattoo. Nathan Drake has never looked so good, and I cannot wait to add the rest of Sonys gaming lineup.

I couldn’t have had a better experience at Red Arbor in tea. I had both Cory and Payton tattoo me and they are both extremely talented. They asked me many times before they started my tattoos if i liked the size and the placement of my tattoos. The designs were exactly what I wanted and Cory informed me a lot about tattoos; it shows he’s been in this industry for awhile which made him super trusting! I felt super comfortable the whole time and they’re both really easy to talk to! It was also a very clean environment. I will definitely be back and I totally recommend! Their work is absolutely incredible!

Picked this place based on excellent reviews, however, artist Cayla’s communication and customer service skills are below average at best. When someone says it’s their first time getting a tattoo, you’d think they walk you through the process instead of saying “well there’s nothing to consult about, your tattoo is small, I don’t do consultations” when their website clearly states that after filling out inquiry form, they reach out for a consult and if it’s a tattoo appointment, they require a deposit, none of which happened. Also, if the tattoo was small, the artist should have used the time to walk me through the process. Very disappointed that instead of taking ownership about her miscommunication, she just gaslit her client into saying they don’t do consultations. Very disappointed, should have picked an artist with more experience and better communication. Her co-workers were more communicative and I wasn’t even their client.She was probably high and honestly, not a good first time experience.

I had Cayla do a tattoo on my hip and I loved it so much that I went back to get a larger version on my leg. I had a scar I wanted covered up and she did a beautiful job designing my tat and then shading and placing it perfectly so you can’t even tell I had a scar. 10/10 recommend! So professional and cool!

I loved working with Solomon on this piece. He is a perfectionist and the work is so amazing! He asked questions to really personalize my idea and I now have a piece of art that is personal and that I will have forever! Also the atmosphere is really fun and everyone is really friendly. 100% will go here again for the next one... just need to think about what it will be! I got a tattoo from Payton today and my entire experience was fantastic! Payton is a great artist who takes time to make the client comfortable and be sure the design and placement is perfect. The overall environment of the studio is very positive. For some of my past tattoos I find tattoo artists to be demeaning, they often make me feel like an inconvenience, Red Arbor is the exact opposite. They made me feel welcome, appreciated, and like they were happy to have me there with them. While there Solomon did a tattoo on another client and it ended up fantastic at the end. I am very glad I was able to see the end result. I will 100% be back and recommend this shop to everyone I know! Thank you Payton, Solomon, Cody, Ryan and Sara for making this such a great experience.

Red Arbor is by far the best tattooing experience I have receive at any tattoo shop. The artists there take genuine time and care with their clients. I really appreciate the start to finish process they implement for each client/project they take on. There was never a point in the process where I felt ignored or confused on what to expect. The tattooing atmosphere was pleasant as well as the only people ever in the shop are scheduled clients and the artists, meaning no random crowds walking in and out the whole time. Ive had the pleasure of working with Cody (Boba Fett) and Ryan (sleeve in-progress). Coming into the shop is always a fun time and everyone there makes you feel as comfortable as one can be.Prior to coming to Red Arbor, I had only gotten smaller tattoos done (1-4 hours). Consultations and design days with the artists allows them to get a feel for what you want and/or if they are the right artist for you. Ryan and Cody both have done amazing jobs of designing something I enjoying seeing everyday, and being able to share the same passion with them is a huge plus.I highly recommend red arbor/atomic robot to anybody looking for some new art whether it be a small first piece or a sleeve. Looking forward to my next session.

I am so impressed with my experience at Red Arbor. They took extra time and had incredible patience making sure my tattoo was exactly what I wanted. I love this place, honestly the best experience I have ever had! Everyone is so professional and considerate. Got my sleeve done by Solomon! He took my vision for what i wanted and made it better than i could imagine it! Solomons attention to detail when it comes to the size and placement of the tattoos was something i really appreciated about working with him. It was our first experience getting a tattoo and everything was absolutely top notch. My daughter and I got matching sentimental tattoos. I have had the pleasure of working with Solomon Carlson on a couple of pieces. He is always super easy to work with and well mannered. Solomon has a calm personality which definitely helped my anxiety be more manageable throughout the process. He is an amazing artist and I appreciate his honesty on if the piece will hold up over time. I can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work and I appreciate that I mean more to him than “a client of the day” like most tattoo shops treat their customers. The guys here are amazing artists and offer a clean environment that helps make the client feel comfortable during their time in the studio. The work they produced is truly unique and recovery has been smooth with zero complications when it came to aftercare in my experience so far. I commissioned Cory for a cover up piece that we have been working on for several months now and he is a master in his talent for sure! I am proud and extremely happy with what he has accomplished so far on this project and we are not even done yet! I highly recommend any of the artists in this studio!

Very clean and professional setup. Enjoyed getting my tattoo here, little to no interruptions during the appointment. Corey makes sure you leave with the knowledge to take care of your tattoo while it heals along with a take care email. Even a follow up email 3 weeks later to make sure everything is healing up right! You truly get your moneys worth coming here!! Between the quality of work to the quality of service!!!

Awesome first tattoo experience! The place is spotless and everyone was friendly. It was like geek heaven! I heard references to World of Warcraft, Dungeons and Dragons, and Dark Souls in the first five minutes I was there. Aeron took his time and answered all my newbie questions. He even left the room for a few minutes so I could get used to the tattoo size and placement (transfer) without any pressure.I will definitely be back!

I have gone multiple times to Solomon and he is the absolute best! He has amazing quality of work, very easy to talk to, and just fun to get tattooed by. Everyone else in the shop was also very nice and the atmosphere was great. Couldnt recommend going here enough.

Unfortunately, my husband had a bad experience at Red Arbor Tattoo. He wanted simple lettering and the words Let Go tattooed on his left wrist. The artist added extra embellishments/wings to the letters, and didnt keep the lettering square or in line with itself. This resulted in a tattoo that looks like fun house lettering slanting downward. My husband put a lot of research and care into selecting Red Arbor Tattoo, and many of our friends even suggested we go here because it is the best in Sioux Falls. My recommendation is do not go to Red Arbor for anything requiring lettering.

Cory has been awesome to work with; he designed a gorgeous back piece for me based on my ideas, conversations with him, and reference pictures I liked. He is very professional and explains things well throughout the entire process. I have already had two sessions and what he has completed so far is beautiful. Such an amazing tattoo shop ran by Corey with the assistance of Ryan and Kevin. Me and a friend went to Corey for her large thigh piece and it was such an amazing experience, he is so fun to talk to but still professional and takes pride in his work. Amazing! The artistry is phenomenal, each time I leave I am in awe. The studio is clean, upscale & very comfortable. All of the artists are kind, friendly, funny & very talented. I’ve been going to Red Arbor for over 5 years and would not go anywhere else. Every artist is talented and they take their designs and work seriously. Each piece is thoughtful and well planned out. The atmosphere is relaxing, fun, and professional. I couldn’t recommend them more.

The work that comes out of the building is great, but the professionalism is poor. I had a tattoo in the works with Solomon for months including a sharpie session only to be called days before my tattoo sitting and canceled on (this was after my first schedule appointment was canceled 3 days before it was scheduled because of a covid exposure). This came days after I voiced my thoughts in an email after being cut short on the sharpie session, canceled on days before my appointment because Solomon had a covid exposure and rescheduled for 2 months down the road, given dates for future appointments where I responded within 24 hours only to have them email me back saying those dates werent available for me anymore. Cory called me days after my email and days before my scheduled appointment to tell me that since they were opening a new location and appointments were to more than likely be canceled and rescheduled often, that Solomon wasnt taking on any new customers. Im not a new customer after a 4 hour sharpie session. Solomon couldnt even call me himself. Super irritated that I stuck months and months into this adventure only to be canceled on because I stuck up for myself with how I was being treated as a customer. The email i sent wasnt even rude. I suggested that if they needed an answer within a certain amount of time for scheduling, that they needed to include that in the email.

Am looking to get a 2nd tattoo soon and wanted to get a sense of the tattooists working in various places around Sioux Falls. This place came up on the list as a place to check out. Love the site! Thank you for showing me the various styles of the tattooists who work there!

Red Arbor is fantastic! Cory is an expert. Cory displays professionalism and understanding to the highest degree. I couldnt imagine going anywhere else. If you are looking to get a tattoo, Red Arbor deserves consideration. This is a well run company with a bright future ahead.

Tawni did an incredible job on my tattoo!! I asked for orchids and boy did she deliver!! She did research so the flowers looked authentic and color and beautiful (just as I requested). Kevin is the Shop Coordinator and keeps things organized as this Shop is crazy busy. The shop is very clean and the atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. All the guys are super nice. My Dad passed away in 1990 and my Mom passed away unexpectedly about a year ago. I wanted to get four portrait tattoos of them. After doing extensive research I found Ryan and chose him to do my portraits. These were done in two separate sessions. Check out the actual pictures and tattoos side by side. During the first and second sessions of my tattooing process I had the opportunity to watch Cory and Cody tattooing others and man, they are talented. If you are looking to get a portrait tattoo, Ryan is the best. The pictures speak for themselves. The first step and the best way to contact them, is through their website.
