Briar Rose TATTOO

All of my tattoos but one have been done by either Anne or Meg and I couldn’t be happier! Their flash events are so much fun as you get to see all of their artists work in different designs you may have thought they would do. The studio is so welcoming, it doesn’t have the dark and scary atmosphere that other studios have, and with it being a fully women studio I feel so safe everytime I come. All of my tattoos have healed beautifully, and I’m proud to say Briar Rose tattoo has done my tattoos whenever someone asks!

I have been to Briar Rose Tattoo many times and every time I am not disappointed. I have most of my Tattoos from the amazing Anne who does phenomenal work. And I got my nose pierced and my second lobe piercings done by Kyleigh who is super awesome with every client she meets. When I walk through those doors I know I will be able to get a professional, clean and beautiful piece of body art whether it be piercings or a tattoo. I traveled to the shops flash day and it was overall perfect! The shop was clean and every one was friendly. They had great priced flash and helped everyone quickly and efficiently with their tattoos or piercings. I was tattooed by the owner Meg, and she was very knowledgeable about where to place the tattoo, what I can expect and what steps I should know for caring for it. I recommend for anyone who is getting their first tattoo or even there 100th.

I love this girl! Megz is the best! She is the only one I trust to do my tattoo’s. Not only does she keep things real she is professional, I love that she keeps her area clean. She talks me through the process and makes me laugh and feel so comfortable. I love the atmosphere of her shop it’s so welcoming. I waited 46 years to get my first tattoo and I’m now on my fourth. I’m slightly addicted to mini tattoos. I highly recommend her I won’t let anyone else ink me.

This was the first time I had ever been to this tattoo shop. It was recommended by a friend. I had a wonderful experience and am already planning on another tattoo visit. I’ve gone to Kyleigh twice for piercings and I won’t go anywhere else now. She was quick, informative about important things like healing, and has gotten back to me quickly when I’ve messaged her with questions. She also talked me through each step of my piercings as she was doing them so it made the entire process way less scary. I’ve also been tattooed by Anne Rose here and she was fantastic as well and always does beautiful work. She was amazing at taking an idea I had and creating several design options for me to choose from, and the tattoos themselves are gorgeous

My absolute favorite tattoo shop! I really like their by appointment only set up, it makes for such a personal and unique experience. I’ve gotten piercings and tattoos here even at the same time. Literally the best people! All of the girls here are absolutely exceptional. 10/10 recommend.

I’ve been getting tattooed by Megz since she was an apprentice so of course I had to follow her to Briar Rose. Her quality of work has always been great and only getting better! She’s so talented, professional and quick to answer any and all my questions/ requests. Every time I’ve been to her shop I’ve been greeted warmly by all artists and absolutely love the theme!!!

Walking into this place is an enchanting experience all on its own. Meg spent so much time making this place almost as beautiful as her work. I’ve only had tattoos from Meg, but when I tell you they are the best I’ve ever had I’m not exaggerating. I love walking out with a beautiful piece of art on my skin forever. Everyone else there is so nice as well! Seriously, best tattoo shop on the west coast(and I’ve been to a lot of shops).

Briar Rose has changed the way I view tattoo shops. As a woman, it can be intimidating walking into a “classic” shop, the comfort that all the artists & piercers provide, just proves the professionalism that they strive to achieve. I came here for my first ever tattoo, and meg was my artist. She was very professional, and made sure to tell me how to tell if a tattoo shop is legit. I was very comfortable throughout the whole experience, and she made sure that if I needed a break, I would get one. I am very happy with the results, and would recommend this place to anyone.

The whole staff is very friendly .Me and my daughter got our ears pierced by Kyleigh . She was so nice to me and my daughter. Her bedside manner is fantastic. The atmosphere is unlike any other tattoo shop I have been to. The Disney theme is super family friendly and the feeling inside the shop is super chill. I worked with Megz and the work was amazing. The conversation was easy and comfortable and the work was better than imagined. I gave free reign on the color options and what I received for those freedoms is way more than what I could have expected. The overall speed was awesome as I thought I would have been sitting for longer. I got two separate tattoos in one sitting (Friday 13th) and they are ranked upon my favorites just behind my children’s hand prints. Highly recommend this shop.

Kyleigh at Briar Rose does the best piercings in town! She has great bedside manner and gave me great tips as to how to care for my piercings. She is extremely communicative and I will definitely go to her for any future piercings that I want.

I was recommended to come here by my friend who has gotten some beautiful work done by Meagan. I really wanted a colorful cup of noodles tattoo and I am so happy with Meagans work. She drew out exactly what I wanted and was so easy to work with. Everything was really clean and very cutely decorated. I felt really comfortable being there. Meagan offered me so many different colors to choose from and really worked with me to make sure the tattoo turned out beautifully. Im so happy and will definitely come back here if I get another tattoo.

As a fellow Disney lover, I was not expecting the amazing atmosphere I walked into. I loved seeing all the different details they have in the shop from the pictures to the outlet covers. Meg was extremely nice and made me feel comfortable while she was working. Not to mention, she didn’t mind me quoting the Disney movies she put on for me to watch while she was working. I highly recommend the shop and will be returning.

I have never had a tattoo experience like what I experienced at Briar Rose Tattoo Studio, and I mean that in the BEST possible way! It was such an inviting and clean environment. Megz is amazing!! I met her about a year ago! I showed her the tattoo nightmare I had gotten on my arm. She said lets fix it. She started off with 3 lift sessions. Then we got started on the cover up. She listened to all my concerns with my existing and even my desires for the rework. She did amazing at camoflaging my old tattoo while covering with the tattoo I wanted for the beginning. I can not thank her enough! We will keep working on mine and then she is going to do a Disney sleeve for my hubby!!

I wouldnt know about their services because I called two weeks ago to make appt and never got a call back from my vm. I called again today and was given the number for someone who does piercings. She has an unprofessional vm and didnt return my text message. I went by the shop but it was locked up with no hours of operation posted. Not very inviting for a small town.

I loved everything about my tattoo process. Megz was so great helping answer my questions beforehand, and helped me feel comfortable about this tattoo Id be wanting for literal years. The shop is gorgeous and felt so comfortable to be in, everything was clean and pleasant. The actual tattoo was much quicker than I expected, and she was able to talk me through it while doing amazing work. I am so happy with how my tattoo turned out, and I definitely found the artist I want to work with in the future!

We came to Tehachapi for vacation, and we all wanted to do a memorial tattoo for our grandma that has recently passed. This was our last trip that she had booked. Meagan rearranged her day to make sure she could get us all in. Communication was amazing, once we got to the shop we were greeted by Vanessa, she is super friendly. We were at the shop over 5 hours and they both made sure we were comfortable and didnt need anything. All 4 of us are super happy with our tattoos, 3 of us this was our first tattoo. Meagan made our first experience amazing. Wed highly recommend her and her work. We are planning to come back for future work and we live in Oklahoma. Highly, highly recommend!! What a beautiful, charming shop! This place is so clean and I immediately felt comfortable there. Meg was awesome to work with, from design to execution. Great studio with fantastic artists! I started at Briar Rose through their opening first come first serve flash last year. I have since gotten multiple tattoos by Megz and a piercing by Kyleigh. I would absolutely recommend both of them! They are attentive and answer all of my questions. Megz schedule books pretty quick but she also holds walk-in flash events once a month.

Its no wonder this place has 5 stars.We had been searching for a long time to find our tattooist and we have finally found her. Megz is so legit. Her work is precise and fast. The price is beyond fair and the shop/ work area is very clean. Meg herself is so easy to talk to and friendly. I would recommend everyone to her and her shop.

Hi all, Megz was absolutely amazing! I met her at the Seaside Tattoo Expo and she designed my Disney Dumbo tattoo for me that I have been waiting for several years to get when the right artist came along. I am so glad I went with her, she has a super light handed and it healed great. The aftercare instructions and medical grad wrap she gave me was awesome. I am so happy that she has opened her own shop, congrats! I highly recommend her as a great Tattoo Artist! She is kind and really makes you feels relaxed when getting a larger piece Tattoo that can take several hours to perfect. Cant wait til I move closer to her area to be able to continue working with her! Disney Artists Rock!!!

I love Megz, we drive 2 hours to see her. Shes professional, funny and a great artist. I had some Disney couples tattoos done and they were done quick and amazing. She doesnt take 15 smoke breaks like other artists and she doesnt make you wait while she draws up the tattoo, its done before you get there. The shop is super pretty and Disney, Disney, Disney, I love it and I love Megz.

Let me start with as soon as you walk in , this place is beautifully clean , organized , very detailed with hidden mickeys or Disney in general. I’ve always struggled to find a shop that’s not the traditional place. Meg made sure I was not only comfortable but went above and beyond to make sure my family was happy and even had snacks for the kids! Again DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! I found Megz through a friend, and she did a floral piece for me. She did a fantastic job of taking my ideas/pictures and turning them into a beautiful piece of artwork. Her use of colors, fine lines, and detail really made my tattoo pop. She was very professional throughout the process and loved her follow up. You can really tell she cares about her clients.

I was one of the fortunate people to receive a tattoo from Meagan at the Dapper Day expo in the Disneyland convention center. She is all the things I look for in a tattoo artist and even though she had tattooed another Gus Gus she made sure to make mine special and different. She is an absolute joy to spend a couple hours with and I hope to be tattooed by her again in the future.

Megz has to be one of the most amazing tattoo artists Ive ever had the pleasure of working with. Shes friendly, kind, and pays close attention to details. Every time Ive had an appointment with her, Megz makes sure Im comfortable, and that I love the design before shell even start set up. She really takes the time to get to know amd build a relationship with her clients. Honestly, shes already done 18 tattoos for me, and Ill continue to go back until theres no room left for more tattoos.

Megz is fantastic, such a rad personality and someone you immediately click with which is great because I knew I was in good hands. Her line work is fantastic, she has a very steady hand. Each piece shes done for me (3 so far) is amazing 👏 I love how they turned out. Shes worth the drive for me which is 2 to 3 hour drive time (total) which to me says shes worth it!!! Look forward to seeing her again and having more work done.

I dont have words to express how perfect my memorial tattoo is. A friend drew it for me and I was afraid it was going to involve too much delicate linework.... but my friend put it best when she said that linework is *chefs kiss* Megz spent time looking at pictures of my dog and talking about him, then spent more time making sure that his little subtle physical tells were absolutely right. If youre thinking about getting a tattoo, this is definitely the place to go.

I met Megz at the San Diego Tattoo Convention. I brought her the idea of a water color dinosaur and dinosaur baby from a book I read to my daughter. She was able to make it her own and it turned out so good! I’m very satisfied.
