We came to Black Lotus to get my 9 month old daughters ear pierced and had a phenomenal experience. We attempted the sister location Piercing Parlor and they had no selection of jewelry as they were trying to get rid of the unwanted earrings. When we got to Black Lotus, Mo was our piercer and he was the sweetest. I think his feelings were more hurt on piercing my daughter than what she was. The shop was very clean and sterile. Id definitely come back just because of Mo and the experience he gave us. The other artist there was super nice and talked with us as well while we waited. Price was also very reasonable as well!

Took my daughter to get her nose bilaterally pierced for her 15th birthday. Was not disappointed! Very clean and tidy shop. Friendly and personable staff/artists. Mo was the piercer who attended to my daughter. Very professional and friendly. Being that Ive worked in health care for 15 years, I tend to notice when sterile and clean work areas are not the norm. In this case everything seemed routine as far as hand hygiene and sterility went. I typically dont leave Google reviews, but I felt it necessary to give credit where credit is due. The price range I selected was for 2 piercings and 2 titanium jewelry pieces (which their selection is super classy and cute).

Their regular piercer wasn’t in. However a very nice bald headed tattooed gentleman pierced my nose. I forgot his name - so sorry! He was cool. Would definitely come back for more work.Impressed with the shop’s cleanliness as well.

My daughter was being super fussy and he was really understanding and patient. He even gave her a little stuffed giraffe 😅. The shop was very clean and sterile. I will definitely recommend this place and mo. Price was also reasonable!

Went in to get my piercing replaced since the ball fell out. The crew greeted me enthusiastically and welcomed me in warmly.Moe, the piercer, was cool as hell and helped me pick out a replacement for my ear and a couple bose rings. Would 100% recommend these guys for future business deals

After having a terrible experience at piercing parlor, we decided to drive down to TC and check out Black Lotus. MO did an amazing job with my infant and 11yr old. The jewelry options were never ending opposed to PP only having 4 absolutely hideous options. He was so gentle and kind with my children and Id absolutely recommend him to any other mommas wanting to take their kids.

I went and got my nipples pierced tonight spur of the moment. I was so anxious that i became a little dizzy but Moe joked with me and helped me calm down. He was relatable, considerate and very skilled. He made me as comfortable as he could and did my piercing fast and it came out perfect! Despite his joking exterior he was still very mindful of me, asking if id like a fan to cool them off after as well as taping gauze down to them when one kept bleeding. He offered great customer service and i will definitely be back for the friday the 13th deals!

Very good experience, it was last minute and Moe didn’t care he got all 4 of us taken care of. He made both my teenage daughters comfortable. All the staff in there were very welcoming. Would recommend this place and will be returning 😌

I don’t think the owner knows how to run a shop 😂 took my child to get pierced, nobody knew what kind of metal they had or more specifically the manufacturer. Called over to their sister shop in Webster at the recommendation of one of the piercers since it’s only for piercing and same thing. What an absolute joke.And before you reply rudely like you have to other reviewers owner no this isn’t a fake review you just suck.

My new favorite place, gave Andrew creative freedom , he delivered. Jackie (sp) did one for me as well. I love love my little devils.

I had a hand drawn tattoo that Doc was supposed to professionally redraw to tattoo it on me. We went in and he only took a leaf out of it. He claimed he had a broken hand while in the middle of my tattoo. He messed up my tattoo, most of it is faded and doesn’t even look professional. We tried to contact the tattoo shop and nobody would reach back out. A few months later he was fired and i heard he waved a gun in a ladies face. I wanted them to redo what they could on the tattoo since I paid $500. All around I wouldn’t recommend this tattoo shop.

I had an amazing experience with this shop and the artist with a love for cats (im sorry man i can’t remember the name). i walked in, no appointment, and he found a tattoo that worked with all my other pieces. i let him do what he thought looked right and it was so sick! easily one of the best experiences and one of my favorite tattoos. I will be returning whenever I’m in the area, this is a shop you can’t pass up.

Just got my nose done by Missie and Im in love! I came in with quiet a bit of anxiety but within seconds of talking with her, I felt complete ease! She did absolutely fantastic and Im in love! The gentleman at the front was super nice while I waited. All around a great shop with awesome artist! Ill be scheduling a tattoo next hopefully very soon!

I went yesterday with a friend for their Friday the 13th special. They were pretty busy but had lots of books available and moved people along quickly. The atmosphere was great and light and everyone was very positive. We got there around 9 pm and they stopped taking tattoos shortly after because there was a long wait. My friend got her conch pierced in the mean time and the piercer was so quick! Ive had my conch pierced before and I was amazed by how quickly and well the piercer did it. We were the last people to get tattooed and Jackie was still doing an absolute incredible job. Still in a good mood and doing incredible fine line work despite them starting at 10 am that day (it was around 1 am by the time they finished). Their boss came in at the end and was really supportive and positive as well, even though I know they all must have been exhausted. They all were chipper and fantastic to be around and really good at setting everyone at ease. The stencil has stained my skin a bit which is why it looks a bit smudged, but the actual line work is incredible and fine and precise. Absolutely check this place out!

Moe is great. He made me feel calm and it didn’t hurt at all. Let me know how to maintain the piercing. Will be back

Brought my oldest daughter for her first tattoo...Andrews work was exceptional. Stayed for her nose piercing and it went so well that my youngest daughter had her navel pierced. Love this shop, everyone is so friendly and madi the piercer is such a cool person, quarantine did our tattoos for us and he’s amazing. He has done many tattoos for me and have never had a complaint.

For my sons 1st tattoo, it was great! The artist did such a wonderful job & very patient with my son picking out what he wanted & Squirming a little since it was in somewhat of a sensitive area. We will definitely be back for more work in the future 💙

I have had a couple of things done forearm and a back piece was so impressed with my forearm had Andrew do my back piece I had a idea for my back but Andrew took the time with me to fine tune it and he really went over and above most place would just tell me when u figure it out come back. Not these guys Andrew and Jackynn really know what good old fashion costumer service is all about the detail and care they put into there artistic skills is out of this park. I shopped around before trusting to go with Black Lotus specifically Andrew to honor my daughter by doing her portrait in ink and he nailed it. He was very focused on all details of her portrait. I couldn’t have found a better portrait tattoo artist and will use him and Black Lotus tattoos again. Thank you for being so compassionate Andrew.

Victoria absolutely blew me away with her amazing conversational skills, aftercare, attentiveness, and understanding. she was very gentle and listened to all of my concerns and she spent plenty of time delicately working at my new piercing to stop the bleeding quickly.i’ve had my left nostril done several times and let’s just say i haven’t had the greatest experience with other piercers. it’s usually seemed pretty rushed, kind of a ‘wham bam thank you ma’am’ sort of transactional interaction but with victoria it felt like i was reconnecting with a great friend and we genuinely had a good time together.don’t know what she gets paid but it’s not enough!!! lmao!

Took my daughter in today for her 6th birthday to have her ears pierced. Right off the bat I was greeted with a smile and attended to expediently. Not only was the place extremely clean, but the hospitality was top notch. My 3 year old was even treated like she was a regular! Christina was amazing and patient with us! She talked my sweet girl through the whole process. She even hooked them up with tattoos (wash off) at the end! The manager Doc introduced himself and took the time to discuss doing some future ink for me as well. Super polite. The atmosphere made you feel at home, especially with having children there. Very professional! Looking forward to doing more business there!!

Doc and Brain were amazing!! It was a small cover up for my breast cancer ribbon so I’m not done and I will let either of them finish it!! They were both so kind and making sure i was comfortable with everything and even talked while getting the tattoo!! Will 100% come back and get tattooed by either of them!

I was very apprehensive about getting my first tattoo, but my artist, Jackee, was straight forward, honest, and patient. The place was very chill, will definitely be going back! The other employees were nice, communicated well, and everyone seemed to liked each other.

I walked in and right away I could tell it was very clean and sanitary! It had a good welcoming vibe, and I enjoyed the decor as well!Maddi greeted me at the front desk and answered my questions and helped me figure out what nose piercing I wanted and explained how the proper way to get to where I wanted to be with my piercing!The service was great, and extremely reasonably priced, especially for how high the quality of service was!Maddi was kind and welcoming while still being professional! She explained every step of what she was doing and provided me with facts on how things worked with the piercing I was getting and such.I learned all of the care and cleansing routines I would need to do and answered all my questions. The process of the actual piercing was done with positivity and reassurance, so I was completely calm and not nervous at all! It was relatively painless, and at the end when I was leaving Maddi provided a pamphlet with care instructions just incase I forgot or something, which was super helpful! Maddi made it such a great experience! I am definitely planning on going back there for future piercings! 10/10 phenomenal service! Thank you Maddi!

Andrew helped me with updating an old tattoo. It was faded from, back in the day. He did a great job. He listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. My new updated version looks great. Now, Im ready for summer. Thank You- Andrew!

I went to get my septum pierced first time at this shop ,everyone was really nice! Very friendly people . Kid friendly I brang my daughter with me. Loved the atmosphere everything was great. Quick and easy piercing rob was awesome. Def recommend.

This by far is the best experience I’ve had with an artist. I went in today planning to get a tattoo from a new apprentice, Tyler. I’ve had a previous tattoos done by professionals, but they don’t compare to the work I experienced today. I was in complete awe of the work Tyler was able to pull off. I am in love with my new piece. I am very excited to see the growth in Tyler’s work! Everyone at the shop is so friendly, and so very helpful. I definitely will return in the future!

I cannot speak highly enough of doc and his ability to tattoo I was there yesterday and he did a portrait type of an Indian chief on my thigh. I have been waiting years for this tattoo and Doc made such a beautiful tat. I will be back to get the Indian bride . Anybody wanting a beautiful piece of art really needs to go to the black lotus hands down they are the best around

Terrible costumer service. While I was getting my belly button piercing done I overheard employees talking badly about multiple clients. My piercer did not make any effort to make me comfortable or help with the bleeding. The only employee there that seemed to care was an independent tattoo artist named Atlas, that did a few of my good friends tattoos. He was the only one who put in any effort. Sadly now that he does not work there anymore, I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Ive gotten a few tattoos done here by Doc and they have all come out amazing. The staff is also super friendly and easy to talk to. Great local shop I can continue to go to for all my future tattoos.

I went there today terrified of getting my nose pierced. Everyone there was so patient and supportive and I am so thankful for my piercer Kaisha. She was so kind and understanding of my fear and helped me a lot to calm down. Victoria and Nicole were also so kind and I loved meeting them and having them there during this experience. I will never go anywhere else for piercings. The piercing didnt hurt much and I was scared for nothing. Lol. If any of them see this I wanna say thank you for making my first facial piercing so positive.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere and all the people who work here! My daughter’s friend told her about some haunted house challenge and we had to check it out last weekend! My daughter picked a drawer and got a ghost 👻 coming out of a Jack-O-Lantern 🎃 and I pulled the drawer with Ghostface! We were both very happy!Al was so professional and made us both feel comfortable! We will definitely be going back!

Got my septum done today 100% great experience. It literally did not hurt at all. My nostril at another location hurt more. I really value how much they care about teaching about proper cleaning of new piercing.Other places I had to ask them for aftercare instructions. Everyone was very fun to interact with too. To top it off, my piercing looks amazing.

I’ve gotten my septum pierced twice, now, by Rob. Always super helpful, plainspoken, and friendly. It was recommended that I get some new piercing aftercare spray, and it was bomb!!! The only thing I needed, and there’s no weird taste/smell with it. 👌🏼I’ve also gotten a tattoo done by Al (Quarantine)— my first. I love it so much, it looks great. He explained the whole process, then I was in and it was over in no time. Seriously, 13/10 as far as customer service, and quality for value with this shop. WILL be coming back. 110%

When walk-in you are greeted by a very beautiful helpful young lady. I almost wanted to get a piercing to spend a minute with her. Alan is the man. Alan did a great job on my tattoo at a good price. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will be back soon to add to my new tat and to do the cover up. Bonus is the owner is a bad Carolina boy. We Carolina boys have to stick together.

Black Lotus is amazing! I took my daughter there to have a nose piercing and to speak to them about some ink work I want done today. Everyone was so friendly and professional. Would give 5 stars but when I first walked in, I felt like the staff was judging me or something. I feel like the two women at the reception table looked at me like I was dumb, including the guy with the braids that was behind them. Everything else was fine, the piercer used all sterile, fresh equipment. I was very happy with the outcome🙂 Tip for future, please greet all your customers the same no matter how they look.

Hi! Me and my mom went there to get piercings ! My mom got an industrial piercing and I got 2 nose piercings and an eyebrow piercing :) Everything was so professional! The piercing prices are also very affordable ☺️ There was a sweet lady that works there , and she did a spectacular job ❤️ She was also very understanding ! The other employees there were kind as well and they also educated us with factual information! I walked in the shop with prior knowledge about some piercings but I left the shop with more knowledge and amazing piercings ❤️ 10/10 recommend , please stop by ❤️

Had never gotten a tattoo before, and decided to go. Heard this place was the way to go and I was not disappointed! Albert gave me a Gogeta tattoo that was probably one of the best I had ever seen! Already planning my next visit! Whoever reads this that wants a tattoo, head over there right away! I dont know if there are others that do tattoo there but try to get Albert to do it, man did such a great job!

I got my nose pierced at a place other than Black Lotus and I regret not coming here for that piercing. The day I got my nose pierced I realized something was wrong, but I didn’t think anything of it and just waived it off as my body healing. Day 2, I notice my piercing has no room to swell and is pushed into my nose as soon as any swelling occurs, so in a panic I call Black Lotus. They tell me to come by 30 minutes before closing and Rob (the owner) and his team give me some of the most helpful advice and helped me make the decision to change to a piercing that better fits my nose. Rob was amazing and took a huge risk to change my piercing on day 2, but I couldn’t have hoped for a better outcome. He was gentle and fast, and was able to do the impossible in a matter of seconds. I will continue to come back here for any piercing advice and changing in the future. Rob is a wonderful owner and his team was also very supportive of everything. I would have lost my piercing if not for this place, so thank you Rob for your help.

Wow so I just had my bellybutton pierced, I’ve had it twice before so I have some scar tissue which I was really terrified of! LET ME TELL YOU, Maddy (I don’t know if I’m spelling it right) did probably the best piercing I’ve ever had in my life. She made me so comfortable and on top of that, I didn’t feel it at all! I was so shocked when she was done because the past two times elsewhere, it was pretty painful. I was definitely be returning for future piercings! Small shop, huge props. The other staff members were also super friendly and everything was really clean PLUS they have an amazing selection of jewelry. 10/10 recommend!

Im 77 years old and I got my second tattoo from Albert. The owner Rob did my ear piercing also and they both did an amazing job they kept me calm and walk me through the entire process. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for quality work and amazing job on the new shop.

A1 service. The owner is knowledgeable and upfront. No gimmicks. Vex is amazing and probably one of the best artists I’ve ever ink my skin. Doc was an amazing artist. I got a sternum piece done and he made me feel extremely comfortable. He takes a lot of pride in his work and it is definitely the best tattoo I have.

The only thing wrong with this place is the decor. It’s called black lotus but there is nothing to even hint at that theme. It has a giant stuffed ram and horns above the doors. Other than the hideous decor the tattoo pictures were at least well displayed. That being said they were highly professional. Maddie was excellent at explaining things and very entertaining with her intelligent banter. The room was clean and sterile. She was very knowledgeable about the sans toy and placement. I’ll be going back here for any piercing and tattoo needs.

Doc did a large snake on me for a good price, he has a super light hand and this was the least painful tattoo I’ve gotten (out of 4). I’m definitely going to be coming back and would recommend Doc to any friends looking for a tattoo artist.

I went to this place to get a cover up tattoo from Ryan and he went way too deep in my skin and caused an infection which I had to go to urgent care for to get antibiotics it wasnt even 24 hours after getting it. It also caused deep scabing that hasnt healed even two weeks after getting it .They also didnt even fully cover the original tattoo and his response to hearing all this was he gave me a cheap price.

It was my first time here and the vibes were all that! A chill and clean spot fr. Maddie was bomb with the piercings and made my sister and I feel real comfortable. We will definitely be back 💋

It was pretty painless. She was patient, personable, and just so sweet! They definitely have a loyal customer from here on out .

I came in for a nostril piercing. I was scared to death, literally shaking lol. But the artist talked to me to help calm me down and before I knew it, the piercing was done! It didnt even hurt! My anxiety was worse than the procedure lol! I would recommend Unlimited Ink to everyone! I wont go anywhere else in the future and Ill be back soon. I was tattooed by a gentleman named quarantine at unlimited ink 2 weeks ago,(my tattooed healed and I just HAD to write a review) it is a sunflower.It was a great tattoo experience but also like a therapy session. I recommend him anytime! 🌻-Tiff

He was so nice, he kept me distracted while doing my tattoo and I didn’t feel a thing. I absolutely love this tattoo he did with my uncles hand writing now I’ll always have a piece of him. Plus if someone ask about the flowers I can tell them the story about my uncle.

I got industrial pierced and it was the worst experience ever. I have plenty of piercings, so it wasn’t my first experience. The placement of my industrial is horrible like it’s hanging on by a thread. I paid $45 and I absolutely hate it. I wish I knew how to upload a picture of it on here. I don’t recommend getting your industrial done here everyone can’t do this piercing and I obviously picked the wrong place.

It’s been 5 days since i received a vertical labret from their piercer, and i’m not satisfied. yes the place was clean, but the shop is brand new hence the star. i usually go to a shop in galveston, it’s where i’ve gotten all my other piercings (i have quite a few) and where i should have gone to get this one but i was wanting to try another place closer to where i live. there are a couple things wrong…one their price for piercings is 10 dollars more than where i usually go, but like i said wanted to try something new. while waiting the shop i usually go to got brought up and they started to talk trash on it, nbd right? but one point they made was the fact that the piercer at the galveston shop was telling clients to use listerine to clean the piercings…i was confused because that’s what i’ve always done along with bactine. i was also confused because the piercer at BL told me to do the exact same thing…use listerine three times a day…you see what i’m saying? there is some kind of disconnect between the piercer and the people up front. another issue i have is the piercing is soooo crooked. she marked my lips where i would be receiving the piercing and it was straight but then when she went to actually pierce the lip i could tell she paused halfway through and tore through the bottom of my lip… causing the crookedness and some bruising….not to mention she put in a ginormous bar not meant for a labret because the piercing would swell “3-4 times it’s size” and it has not at all. i have already changed it out for the correct piercing. i’m not satisfied and will not be returning to this shop.

Need to clean, not just the walls, the bathroom and the floors but the over all feeling. It feels dirty. The people that work there are nice, they have potential to become a great shop but anyone worth anything wont stay there.

We came here to get my daughters belly periced the gentleman asked to see her belly before he did it he was very nice and said the percing wouldnt sIY right with the way her belly was shaped very nice people they gretted us when we came in so he said she could get her ear or noes periced she said noes he was very nice went through the process with her and did it there was no blood no nothing a couple weeks went by it kept falling out so eventually it came out again and the noes ring wasnt anywhere to be found she quickly put a earing in where it wouldnt close so we called in it was 5 min till 10 we told them what had happened and they said yeah come in they will put a new one in for her we went up there the percing manger was there and told us how much it was going to be but we was short some money so the other gentalmen that was there pitched a little bit of money in for her noes ring I was very surprised and thankful for that I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants percings very nice clean and are very sweet people i give it a 10 out of 10 I dont remember there names but they are AWESOME!!

I came here to get a tattoo and staff was not very welcoming. I showed the artist a picture of what i wanted (its the size of a half dollar and he charged $40) He goes to draw it up, i get the tatt and leave. I realized later that the tatt was missing a part. I went back for corrections and the artist blamed it on me! He told me to come back in 3 days. I did and he was a no show. Now im having to pay someone else to fix a 3 second correction that THE ORIGINAL artist made a mistake on. This place was once a place of integrity for their work. Now its just an over priced hole in the wall with an artist who pays no attention to detail.
