Jacob Hanks is the BEST tattoo artist around!!! He always has the very best attitude and getting a tattoo from him is always an amazing experience.Once you step into his shop you see a very clean, sanitary, and well organized shop. On the walls you see various 1st place plaques of all the competitions he won. You also see various magazine articles he’s been in. He is very humble and extremely experienced at what he does. From the first steps into his shop till the time you leave, you feel like family. He goes above and beyond to make you comfortable so you feel like you’re at home. I believe I have 70+ hours of being tattooed by him and every tattoo is an amazing piece of art that I cherish and show off proudly. So I have been coming to Cascsde Tattoo Company for tattoos for a few years now. Unless I’m traveling, Jacob is my primary tattoo artist. The shop itself, is immaculate. Always clean, safe, and extremely professional. I couldnt be happier with the Memorial piece Jacob did for me. He was kind, professional, fun, and down to earth. Not to mention his artistic ability is Top Notch. His generosity is beyond measure. Tattooed for 6+ hours and was comfortable the whole time. Jacob kept checking in to see how I was doing and if I was good. Took breaks when needed to stretch. Very knowledgeable and could kept good conversation the whole time. Will definitely be back for more!

When I walked into the shop Jacob greeted me at the corner and asked what he could help me with. I told Jacob that I wanted a tattoo for my dad that passed away and he got right on it. Jacob helped me with a design which was a cross and my dads name. The whole time Jacob was tattooing me he made sure I was okey and that I was completely comfortable. Jacob is really the best at what he does and Im for sure going to him for more work.

Told me what he was gonna do and was straight forward with how it was gonna be and feel, when I needed a break he stopped and let me take as much time as I needed torecover. Talkative when I was in pain and had nothing to say he made conversation so it wasnt awkward and quiet! 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for professional work!!

Badass team, badass tattoos, badass atmosphere. Ive been to both The Dalles and Goldendale locations and both facilities are very clean, and inviting. Jacob has done both tattoos here, but Ive watched his dad Larry, and Torey both interact with tattoo customers. All of their art is top-notch, and they make you feel very at ease. Great guys cant say enough good things.

I was treated horrible and insulted by the owner, (Hanks). He accepted another appointment during my time of my appointment and I asked for a refund and he wouldn’t give it to me. He kept two of my deposits of $150 & didn’t refund me any of it plus didn’t even do my tattoo, which at that point I just wanted to not even have my tattoo done there after being insulted, all I wanted was my refund and to leave but he didn’t refund me & kept cursing at me with everything he kept saying towards me.— In respond to your comment below. Mr. Hanks just because you don’t like my review of my experience with your business doesn’t mean you have the right to bash my name out. I have never even made an appointment at Satori nor have I even been there whatsoever. I’m not even from The Dalles, OR. I come from a respected & educated family, I speak multiple languages plus I have a clean record. I am an independent & responsible woman; if I was acting supposedly according to you mentally unstable and trespassing don’t you think I would of been arrested or given a fine because of it? which was not the case. I also have prove of the way you cursed me and yelled at me because I video taped the whole thing and also showed the police on how you swore at me in front of everyone in your shop. I have prove of my appointment being accepted on the same time and same day that you accepted someone else’s appointment. I never cancelled that appointment that I had for that day. I also have emails of my appointment being accepted on the same time & day by you so no, I was not trespassing considering I had an appointment which you did not abide by nor was I refunded whatsoever. I explained to the police and showed all prove of videos that I taped for my safety on how aggressive you were being verbally towards me. I find it very unprofessional for a business that considering I signed a tattoo consent form which included my name and my personal information & this should be confidential between the client and the business yet is being shared online by the business.

Best experience in a tattoo shop Ive ever had! Place is clean and nice and open. The environment, was very comfortable. I never felt uncomfortable, music was great, the way the artist were speaking to one another was soft and kind, Jacob and Larry are 2 of the nicest people Ive met. Larry cracks me up with his fun, sweet bantar. I learned a few things from him I never would have known. Larry, Id love a piece done by you, even a teddy bear. 😉Lol. Jacob was very professional! Not only did I leave with amazing work on me, but he was able to sketch it on my body by hand, and that folks is skilllzzz! The line work is amazing and it healed easy peasy. Jacobs shading skills are so on point!! I look forward to working with the Hanks to create and get more beautiful art pieces on my body by them.

Had an 8 1/2 hour session with Jacob Hanks for a half sleeve Polynesian Tattoo. I’d highly recommend him. Light hand, highly skilled, and great bedside manner. He takes good care of his customers. The tattoo has clean lines, is authentic, and is an awesome piece of art. I will be getting more work done by Jacob for sure, Polynesian or otherwise.
