Looking for the best piercing experience ever? Look no further than Modified Piercing! Kory was so great to work with and my daughter and I had a great experience! He is by far the most professional, knowledgeable and genuine piercer Ive been too. Other places in salt lake made me feel less than and I didnt get anywhere near the after care teaching that he gave us. Hes passionate about his work and it shows in his practice!

Kory was great! My daughter (5) and I got piercings today. I got my nose and my daughter got her ears. My daughter was soooo tired and overwhelmed. Crying! She never does this and is always brave and down to do whatever. I was getting upset cause she wouldn’t do it, however Kory kept patience from start to finish not once did I feel like we were a burden. Kory should be everyone’s go to!After we left and my daughter calmed down she says she isn’t going to do purple in one ear and pink in the other anymore… she’s going to keep the ones Kory gave her cause she loves them. ;)Thank you again Kory for being so patient & the rest of the staff. When I went to see Kory it was because my sister in law wanted to get her eyebrow done, was I let down at all? Nope! I had so much fun being able to laugh and he made sure I was comfortable, I wish I had gone to him to get my lip done cause that experience was horrible. I love Kory too he is really awesome, I loved my first nose piercing I went right on back. I will trust no one else but him to give me piercings from now on, like seriously if you want someone who explains every step (of what he will do and how to take care of it after) all the way down to making sure you smile before you leave. Plus his photography is amazing (yes this amazing person just keeps getting better!) p.s if I can find out how to post my piercings I will haha

My 8-year-old got her ears pierced here this week and it was a fantastic experience. The reviews are all true—Kory is the best. He was personable and friendly and put her at ease while still being an absolute professional about everything. I appreciated that he didnt push her to be brave and made sure she knew it was ok to be nervous and feel what she was feeling. He had a seamless system and procedure, and was clear and upfront about everything. Prices were extremely reasonable. Highly recommend.

Kory definitely lives up to his reputation for being great with kids! I took my daughter here today to get her ears pierced, and he was so fun to talk to and so chill and professional, she didn’t even flinch when he did it! Kory knows his stuff - I had lots of crazy questions and he answered them all. I also got a second piercing in my ears and he was able to give recommendations on the placement of the second piercing based on the fact that when my ears were pierced 20 years ago, it was done unevenly. This was a very stress free appointment, I went in there expecting to freak out over seeing the needle. Kory Sagendorf told jokes, and made the environment stress free and am enjoyable space! The piercing took him barely any time and he was very kind and patient. He does everything to make sure you are comfortable and gets rid of nerves very easily by making jokes and making light of the situation. I struggled with wearing earrings most of my life thinking I was just too sensitive to metal. After talking to Kory he had a theory that the piercing gun had caused too much scar tissue. He repierced my ears with a larger bore needle and like magic my sensitivity to every type of metal in my piercings practically disappeared.I went back for a second set and am contemplating more.Ive watched Kory do my friends kids piercings and he is incredible with getting kids to relax and be comfortable with him. He makes piercings fun.His shop is clean, hes knowledgeable, experienced and friendly.

This was hands-down the best piercing experience I have ever had. I went in to get my nipples pierced and after getting them three times, I finally found a piercer who knows what they’re doing. Kory was very knowledgeable and patient. Also with me a female getting a piercing done by a male, he was very professional. No uncomfortable or awkward vibes whatsoever. Coming all the way from Salt Lake I was a little skeptical if the drive was worth it and 1000% it was. I will drive all the way to get all my piercings done by Kory because he is definitely one of the best piercers in Utah.

Took my five year old here to get her ears pierced because she really wanted it done, she didn’t even say ouch and he was so good with her. 1000/10, highly recommended.He is an amazing and kind person. When I first met him I went with my sister and nephew for them to each get a couple piercings. My nephew is a very shy person, even at 10 years old. We were definitely worried before hand that my nephew could be scared/nervous but as soon as Kory sat him down in his piercing table/chair, he cracked a couple jokes to make him smile, and then explained to him, so he understood what was about to happen step by step and put his nerves aside. My nephews and sisters piercing healed great. And my nehpew loves having his ears pierced as well as learning how to make sure they healed properly. He had such a nice vibe when I first met him, I myself decided to go back to him to get my navel belly button pierced and he did an absolutely amazing job. As well as making sure I was good to go and fully hydrated afterwards. Piercings are definitely an art and this guy is an artist 🎨 👏 💙He also does amazing photography if thats something you or anyone you know is looking for. Kory is very transparent and honest, has a lot of experience and knows what hes doing. I had him do 2 different piercings for myself this time- but I brought my daughter in last October for her ears and he was wonderful with her, made it fun and easy even when it hurt.

This was our second appointment with our daughter, 15. She had her nose pierced two years ago and this year her belly button. He was very professional and knew how to lighten the mood for a nervous teen about to get a piercing. Kory provided all information, health, and safety concerns to us without losing a beat. While we were there a couple of teenagers came in for some cleaning solution. Kory could tell something was off and they finally admitted to performing an at home piercing. He relayed them information on the cons of doing that at home. Just all around caring and passion for what he does!

I got a nose piercing a couple weeks ago. Cory is AMAZING!!! I live in West Jordan and every time I drive to tooele I get an itch to get a piercing, I googled piercing places in tooele and I picked modified piercing. I’m so glad I did. Cory answered and came in to meet me even though it was his day off. The whole experience was awesome. His energy is fun and exciting. He is very knowledgeable and professional. His prices are fair. When he pierced my nose he did it so quickly which made my nose heal super fast because it was less trauma to skin. He is very good at what he does. I highly recommend and will be going to him from now on.

Kory has been my piercing guru, for 4 rounds. Every time has been the same, as far as how hes treated me (and the guests I bring). Professional, in that he educated me fully on the modification, but family, in that once you know Kory, youre just family. And he backs his work for life. I appreciate how helpful Kory was in educating me with the piercings, my daughter had a bad reaction to the metal when I got her ears pierced from a cheap mall shop years ago, so we were hesitant to try again but he uses high grade metal and knows what hes doing, and she hasnt had any issues with her new piercings from Kory! Shes 11 and was super nervous (almost chickened out) but Kory was so fun and made the experience great for her.. shes already asking me if Ill take her back for another ear piercing!

Kory is an incredible piercer. He is knowledgeable and been around for 10 years. We went in to get our daughters ears pierced and they both chickened out and Kory was so kind to them and made them feel very comfortable with their decision, so me and my wife sat in and got our ears pierced. The experience was night and day difference from when I took my older daughter to the mall to get her ears pierced. No crying, during or after. She doesnt complain that they are tender. Her ears didnt get inflamed or red. Kory is very educated and knows what he is doing.

I have taken my daughter to Kory for both of her piercings, and he has been amazing both times. My daughter was nervous about the pain but after Kory started talking to her and cracking jokes she forgot about her nerves and by the time it was over she hardly felt the pain at all. He has a guarantee on his piercings which he stands by and doesnt judge if something happens to them whos ever fault it may be. He gives options on aftercare and doesnt try to push the expensive stuff on you just tells it like it is, which I really appreciate. Thank you for an amazing job! I contacted Kory after receiving a nose piercing from someone in SL that became problematic. He took the time to educate me and met me at 1:30 IN THE MORNING to check my piercing to make sure it wasn’t infected. I ended up getting a new nose piercing in a location that complimented my facial structure so much better. It was worth paying a second time to get it done right and I’ll never use anyone else again. Today my six year old got her ears pierced. I was determined to have it done right and was recommended to Kory at modified piercing. I was not disappointed. He explained every very clearly and made my girl feel comfortable and safe. So one night while I was sleeping it pushed the nose bone ring out of my nose and it was too inflamed to put one back in so we waited for it to heal and repierce it. It hurt even less the second time. As long as I use the right kind of jewelry my non-lobe piercings are perfect and I have no problem. I have gotten my Helix piercing from him most recently as well! He is good at what he does and it makes me want to get even more piercings! My daughter is ready to get her ears repierced now too and she is so excited for Kory to do it again!THANKS KORY, YOURE THE BEST!
