Great shop. Talented artists. Edgar and his crew are super talented and passionate in what they do. Edgar was very professional and really took the time in helping with the design consultation. He really knew how to incorporate my tattoo to connect well with my already existing pieces. The final result really exceeded my expectations. If youre looking to get new ink, I highly recommend Edgar and Alpha Ink Studio.

Great experience from start to finish. My son’s communication with Edgar from the very start was a 5 star experience! He answered every question he had. Day of appointment from the minute you walk into Alpha ink you are treated by all of the staff like you are family! Edgar took my son’s idea and turned it into a masterpiece. This was my first tattoo and it was a wonderful experience. I worked with Katie who made a beautiful interpretation of my idea and had ideas about how to include more colors and details. She explained everything I needed to know about the process before getting started. The shop is clean and neat and everyone working there seemed really nice. Also her work space has lots of cute anime stuff to look at. My tattoo came out way better than I planned. Very highly recommend 👏

I had my tattoo done last night (7/26/2024) with Grace. She is super talented. It was the least pain tattoo I ever had. She is so personable and friendly. Grace you are wonderful. Also very reasonable in price.

I was searching for someone to cover up a very small but very poorly done tattoo, and Grace nailed it! After finding Alpha Ink through Google, I went to their IG and saw her work and messaged her about my situation. Her response and suggestions about how she could fix it assured me that I picked the right artist. She was able to take me on a Walk-in Wednesday, and she just exceeded my expectations from start to finish. She made me feel so comfortable from confirming the design, to setting me up, to doing the actual tattoo. Everyone else there was great too...all very personable and welcoming. Im extremely grateful Grace was able to fix me, and I will definitely go back when the time comes for the next one!

I walk in to fix and make changes to a tattoo. I instantly felt the friendly and cordial atmosphere of the place. Katie helped me today, and she was great!!! I am usually very anxious about tattoos and was unsure about what I needed. She was patient and searched for different options until I was satisfied. I love the results and will go back for more. This was my first tattooing experience which could have been anxiety producing but Edgar and the whole staff at Alpha Ink made me feel very comfortable. I got my first tattoo here and I had Katie do my tattoo. She was amazing. I was nervous and she would talk to me and try to distract me which was nice. I’m not from this area so she would ask me questions about where i’m from and give me recommendations for places around here. All around seemed like a good person and a great place.

I went to the tattoo shop not really knowing exactly what I want. I met with Katie and we started throwing ideas around. I left 3 weeks later she had a sketch and it was so different and fun. I got a penguin wearing a T-Rex onies eating pizza. Everyone there is so nice. Everything is so clean. I really recommend getting your tattoos here. If you want something fun silly creative let Katie do it. You wont be disappointed

If youre looking for a great tattoo parlor in Hamilton--even in NJ--HANDS DOWN ALPHA INK IS THE PLACE TO GO!! Id give 10 Stars if I could!My husband and I went in with a hairbrained idea for a matchy/not matchy nerd tattoo, AND I wanted a cover up, Katie was AMAZING!! she took our idea and ran with it, and she didnt balk at the cover-up for even a second. She was kind, funny, and a ton of fun to spend a few hours in needle therapy with. She was extremely knowledgeable, talked through the process, explained her ideas in great detail, and in the end, we both left super happy!The shop was clean, the whole staff was super friendly, it felt less like a transaction, and more like a couple of friends hanging out. The whole vibe of the place was super chill.Doesnt matter if its your first tattoo or not, all the artists seem great to work with, and their quality is amazing!!

Id been looking for a local shop in the Yardville area. Ive Google messaged others near by...no response. I had passed them while driving, looked them up, messaged them with a crest request...and got a response for next day. I was surprised at how quickly they could get me in. Katie is available.Lemme tell you....one of the better decisions Ive made. Bright and airy. Very welcoming. Warm sweet vibe atmosphere.I met the owner, the wife and support staff, ( if I knew the names , thatd be great)...comfortable environment. Explained every aspect of what is about to happen. Antiseptically clean as an OR.Getting a permanent application, from someone you dont know....Katie and I introduced...and all that went away. Katie worked with me to achieve the desired look.Absolutely recommend this shop ✌️🤟Had to go back. Went to see Katie, she happened to be in the middle of a larger piece. Was asked if Grace could help me.Why, yes she did. Helped add to an existing ASL design and nailed it. Grace and Katie will be getting more of my business without a doubtIts wonderful to have found this studio. The artists are extremely talented and the support staff is so pleasant and accommodating.

I went to Edgar for a coverup on my leg and I couldn’t be more happy with it. The vibes of the people and place were amazing and I loved how easy it was to connect and talk to everyone. The place was super clean and I love how it is in booths. I’d definitely come back here!

It was my first tattoo. I got a portrait on my upper right arm. It was of my cat who passed away. Place was clean. Edgar was the artist. He is more talented and skilled than I could have hoped for. Exceeded my expectations. He was quiet throughout a lot of it, and then revealed at the end that he wanted to be as focused as possible to make my first tattoo a great one. I really appreciated that and he did great. The rest of the staff were really nice too. One of them was this girl with these incredible blue eyes. Highly recommend.

Was looking for a new artist and heard Edgar did great work so I decided to try him out and I was not disappointed at all. I came to him with an idea for a half sleeve and he did amazing bringing it to life. The amount of detail he puts into his work is enough to speak for itself. Stay away if you dont know about tattoos and the process. I had no clue. The guy was an hour late, walked in and said cant do what you want. Pick another! I was in shock, i had no choice since i changed my medication for a week to do this.god help me i picked a portrait and got a cartoon. I went to another place months later.got what i originally wanted with no bleeding or burning at all. It came out perfect. If you want a little heart or something simple maybe you can try them. If you want a portrait stay clear.

Had a memorial tattoo done and a previous tattoo retouched. Staff was wonderful and very knowledgeable, happy to answer any and all questions, studio and all equipment was clean and sterile. Tattoo artist Jay was fantastic and both tattoos turned out better than I had hoped!! Definitely recommend this studio and will return for future work!

I went to Alpha Ink a few weeks ago on a whim, I saw that they had good reviews and thought I would give them a try. Katie tattooed my diamond, and Edgar the shop owner tattooed my rose. They were both nice and easy to talk to, and did a consultation to figure out what I wanted. I love both of my tattoos, and am very happy...and now I want more! The shop was very clean, and the other staff was very nice too.

Great shop! I worked with Grace who was easy to connect with. She was patient with me as I hashed out what I wanted. After sending reference pictures, she sent a design, and after a few tweaks I came in for the tattoo. The shop was super clean and everyone was professional. Grace did a fantastic job on a special piece in memory of my dad. Cant wait to see it healed.

He recently took a friend of mine in, who only had experience as an artist, and trained her as an apprentice from the ground up. Now she does *incredible* work, which is both a testament to her talent and Edgars training. If youre looking for a safe place to get some work done or an aspiring artist who wants to learn how to do tattoo work, this is the place to go. Alpha Ink Studios will be a staple of our community for a very long time with this degree of a positive standard, and they take extra care to comply with all the necessary health codes. I have no criticisms whatsoever.I couldnt recommend this place highly enough, and Ill definitely be going back to have more work done in the future.

Got my 2nd tattoo yesterday at Alpha Ink and could not have had a better experience. Grace helped me immediately. She helped me choose the size and placement of the design and made me feel very comfortable with the process. Went here to get a tattoo for my mom who passed away, and ended up getting that plus one for my two sons. I interacted with multiple staff, all of which were great! Very welcoming atmosphere and great vibes. Katie did my tats and took her time listening to what I was looking for, made suggestions and moved the stencil multiple times until the placement felt perfect. I’m already planning on my next piece for when I go back!

I have quite a few tattoos and quite a few horror stories but at Alpha inc it is very professional, friendly, and very clean. I loved it! As a darkerskin customer I was hesitant at first due to bad past experiences. However, the staff made me feel very comfortable. Grance was my artist and she was extremely pleasant and professional with a great eye for detail. Ill definitely be back and soon.

I was skeptical about going to a tattoo shop to get a tattoo because I didnt know what to expect. Presentation, comfortability, and knowledge is what make me comfortable in allowing someone to put art on me. I walked into a clean place where the owner greeted me. I had questions, he had answers. He was patience and helpful. I made an appointment to come back. He drew my idea while I waited and make sure it was how I wanted it. It was EXACTLY what I wanted. They do awesome work. The other day I went in and had my first tattoo done. I was a bit nervous from the anticipation, however my nerves were instantly put as ease by Katies professionalism and friendly nature. It was about a five and a half hour process however it didnt feel nearly that long. I was very comfortable, chatting about different interests as well as watching a show throughout the tattoo process. Overall it was a great experience and im loving the final product, thanks yall.

Went to get a small tattoo in honor of my dad and Katie was amazing! She was so nice and made me feel very comfortable. I was getting numbers from a reciept and she made them look identical, even included the specific little bumps and wobbles on the numbers. The shop was super clean. My sister and I spontaneously decided we wanted to get tattoos while we were visiting fam in NJ (& we had a pretty strong vision of what we wanted to see). Alpha Ink took us in just two hours after called and drew custom designs for us in front of us! Found the shop from a google search. Reviews were great. I sent a message asking if walk ins were welcomed, I was told yes. Planned to walk in that day but it was too late in the day after getting home from a long work day. But I walked in 2 days later and they welcomed me in. Set an appointment for 2 hours later came back in and out with Edgar. Customer service was exceptional, he listened to my idea gave his expert take on it and made it happen! I greatly recommend this place. I went during walkin hours on wednesday to get a new hand tattoo and to retouch an older one. It was a fast process to get the ink done, and I had pleasant experience with Grace. She took the time to explain the Saniderm and the aftercare : Key for succesful healing

If your thinking about or looking for a tattoo shop LOOK NO FURTHER!!!! you will not find a cleaner friendlier shop in town. Everyone is amazingly talented. I have been getting routine work from Jay, he is very friendly and professional, he is super light handed and takes thr time to ensure you are getting what you want and he also takes thr time to explain his process through the entire tattoo. The owner is equally as friendly and fantastic with animal portraits. I absolutely love this shop.

Edgar was patient with me and all my requests. He gave suggestions from his experience, but I never felt like anything wasnt my decision. He made me consider size and placement scenarios I would not have thought of myself and together we picked the perfect everything.

My son got his first tattoo this week and they were great!! Made sure everyone was comfortable and the whole experience enjoyable. Katie did a great job and now I have to get my first tattoo!!

My daughter and I both work with Grace! She is amazing. Does excellent work and is very personable as well! We will definitely go back!!! Thanks Grace.

I had wanted a tattoo for a while but I hadnt seen anyones work that I liked. I then had a small tattoo in mind. I found Edgars work via Instagram. I thought wow this is talent and so aesthetically beautiful! I called the shop his wife was so sweet and professional .I booked an appointment. I had my own personal issues. I showed up to shop and Edgar was so kind and so open. It felt like therapy and tattoo. He is not just a talented tattoo artist but some one who is caring of his clients. Everyone at the shop was friendly and professional. I absolutely loved my tattoo and will be back with my next idea!! This place is awesome and highly recommend it for your tattoo wants!!

A very great hidden gem tattoo parlor in Hamilton, Grace was very knowledgeable, welcoming and a huge help for me as a first time tattoo goer, answering questions and being receptive to my concerns, I cant recommend this place enough for anyone who is either looking to get another piece done or a first time goer. I will definitely be going back for more in the future.

First tattoo ever and i’m so happy with how it came out! I had an amazing artist, Grace, and everyone working there was so welcoming.

I walked in and was immediately helped by Grace. I showed her my ideas and she started drawing it up. She was patient with me, very kind, and talked me through the whole process. It really was a 10/10 experience for me!
