Jv at inked different rocked my tattoo ! I’ve been looking for a trusted artist to take on my anime leg sleeve and I’m so glad I found her! She took her time made sure every detail was right on the money & made me feel comfortable the whole time. Added bounces she had a very light hand I was so relaxed I could have taken a nap 😂 definitely keep her in mind for your next tattoo !

Halie did SUCH an incredible job! I couldn’t be more pleased. She drew the sketches ahead of time which saved time when I arrived for my appointment, she was super friendly and accommodating, very professional and a talented artist, and I felt very comfortable the whole time. Also the location itself had great vibes and everything was very sanitary. The needling took way less time than expected and I think the price was quite reasonable. I also liked that she placed a transparent adhesive over the tattoo that you wear for a week and it heels everything so you don’t have to do any aftercare. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Omar is the only artist I go to. He’s done 4 of my tattoos so far and is working on my fifth. Very professional. Very friendly. And very patient. Im very picky about my ink and Omar never complains thats its too much. If your looking for someone whose going to take their time bringing your ideas to life then 10/10 would definitely recommend!!

I tried three different tattoo places, Ink Different was the one I picked because I felt very welcomed by Ben.I came up with my own design, showed Ben, he added his magic touch and voila. My tattoo looks more than I hoped for thanks to Ben.Ben was very kind, kept me busy forgetting about the pain of the needle with his stories of travel and life experiences. Simply he went above and beyond what I was expecting from a tattoo shop. Thank you Ben, will definitely come back for my other tattoos. Highly recommended.

Had an excellent experience with the artist Omar who did my first really big piece. Very kind and professional! Piece was painful but I could tell the artist was using a gentle hand. Most definitely would be back for some more work

Hiiii, i just got done with a sesh with Omar! i literally follow him where he goes shop wise. He’s an amazing artist and provided me with an amazing piece once again! He took the time to ensure the stencil was where i wanted it and all !!! I ended up tapping out after 3-4 hours of this neck tattoo so i have to come back for shading in my second session, but I’m def getting more then that when i come back! THANK YOU!!!

I have been searching for a tattoo artist that has my style of art and I knew that she’d be a great choice because of how helpful she has been. Even last minute I asked her if she could squeeze in some time to do my sisters first tattoo. She listened to me talk about my life throughout the whole session and genuinely lent an ear and had great feedback. Definitely recommend her and will be coming back to visit for future pieces.

I had such a great experience with Ruby! She did two tattoos for me and they both came beautifully. Just got the eye of hours tatted on my forearm by Omar, he crushed it. It was only my third tattoo, first appointment I went to by myself and probably the most artistic one I’ve gotten so far and I couldn’t be happier with it. Itching to get a new one already haha. This is the third tattoo that Mila has done for me. She is very friendly and professional during the whole process. She even offered to touch up the other tattoos she had done during my last visit. I got my Lotus Unalome tattoo here. it was done so nicely. Me and my family Can’t wait to come back soon!

My daughter was interested in signing up with this school. In October 2023, we sent a refundable deposit. The very next day after more consideration we decided it was not a good time and canceled. We were told we would receive a refund check in about 14 days. We never received the check. I have called several times speaking to Josy who said she has reached out to the finance team and their notes said they mailed a check but I still havent received it. Josy provided me another phone number which I left several messages for Paul and he has not returned my calls. I sent an email in Dec and the reply said they would refund the money to the original form of payment however that still has not happened. The communication with the finance team and getting this resolved has been a horrible experience. Why is it so hard to refund money that was stated in the contract is refundable.

Had an amazing experience with Omar, he knew exactly what I wanted and asked in between if I was okey or if I needed a break. 10/10 would recommend

Bella was super awesome, super gentle and super cool. My experience was probably the best yet in my tattooing experiences. I honestly wouldnt go anywhere else now. I would highly recommend the shop and Bella. Im coming back very soon!

I had the best tattoo experience thus far with Halie. Halie does drawings before the session and she never complained once when I ended up making her redraw my piece 7 times. She was a great host during the session. She asked if I needed to use the bathroom before, during and after the session. I tend to ask a lot of questions/talk a lot in general and she was a great conversationalist. If took us a few tries for placement for each tattoo but she was very understanding and accommodating and made sure I was content with placement. Her work station was super tidy as well and she at the end, she asked where I parked so she can make sure I got in safely. A beautiful kind talented soul!!!

Had an appointment with a guy named Flax for 2:30p on 1/17/24. I arrived at 2p to be courteous and on-time. Waited in 24 degree weather for 40 minutes. The artist never showed up. Never texted. No communication. Waste of time and gas. I guess Ill take my business elsewhere.

This shop and the people that work here are welcoming and friendly not to mention they are professional and everything is clean. Maddie did three of my tattoos. One was adding to an existing and the other two were completely new and done in the same appointment. Her line work is amazing and I can’t say enough about how comfortable she makes me feel throughout the session. She did floral work for each of my tattoos and I constantly get compliments on how great they look. She is such a nice person and goes above and beyond in making sure you are happy with her work. I love how she keeps contact with you after to make sure you are okay and that means a lot. Book with Maddie! You will not be disappointed! 💜

Maddie is the best!! She did a custom calf piece for me and I’m a picky customer! Maddie is a true artist and included me every step of the way. She struck the perfect balance between letting me have my input in the design but also doing what she knew would be best from a tattoo and design perspective. During my appointment Maddie was super thoughtful, making sure I was comfortable and offering me breaks. The tattoo salon was very welcoming; it was a pretty busy day but everyone seemed to be happy to be there. The entire staff was super friendly and the whole place is fantastic.My tattoo turned out AMAZING. Even better than I imagined. The design, the color, everything is beautiful. I have been to Body Art & Soul twice now and will be back again in a few weeks! My first visit was during a holiday flash event in 2019. All the artists were there and everyone was lovely, friendly, and professional. Lots of female artists! I recently had beautiful floral fillers done by Maddie and am so pleased with how they came out. I loved that she emailed me the drawings a week before my appointment to make sure Id be absolutely satisfied with the finished pieces. Maddie is very attentive to details with incredible focus on sanitation. She wore an N-95 mask during the tattoo process which made me feel very safe and comfortable getting tattooed during the pandemic. Im looking forward to my next appointment!

Fantastic experience! Wanted to give one of my decade-old tattoos an upgrade, and Maddie did an incredible job! Kept enough influence from the old tattoo, but gave it new life. Shes also awesome to chat with. Im super thrilled with every aspect of the process! Definitely planning to go back, and I would highly recommend!

My experience here with Maddie was amazing! The whole vibe of the shop was comfortable and i’d recommend it to anyone! Aside from that, Maddie took everything I wanted into account and almost finished filling in the spaces of my half sleeve in one session. She works fast but still very very intricate with her work and gave me the best aftercare instructions for my tattoo. I’m so excited to go back for my second session to finish up! Sarah did an AMAZING job with my tattoo! I loved working with her. I gave her a rough idea of what I wanted and she created a piece more beautiful than I could have imagined. Her detail work was exquisite— the lines and tiny dots look so clean and the lettering of my tattoo looks phenomenal. A few days ago I got an ear tattoo done by Krystal! The shop was very clean, professional, and the decor was really beautiful. I felt welcomed immediately by all the tattooists in that day, and got some good conversation in too. The tattooing process was very pleasant and Krystal was always checking my comfort level and asking if she could make me more comfortable. Overall, I felt really welcomed and safe in the shop. My wife searched online for somewhere local to get an old tattoo touched up with some color added. We set up a consultation with Maddie and from the get-go I had a good feeling. The shop was clean and I felt comfortable. The other artists there were nice and socialized in a friendly manner while I got my tattoo.Maddie was professional and attentive to whatever needs I had. It took 4 hours, with a few breaks, and the outcome was awesome. I couldn’t be more happy with the whole process especially the finished product. The original art was meant to be the start of a half sleeve. After waiting almost ten years I won’t be waiting that long to go back and have Maddie continue her excellent work!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Absolutely love this place. The shop prides itself on the quality of tattoos & atmosphere is amazing. Got tattooed by Halie and during the entire session, she made the experience comfortable and overall had a good time (and it was a tattoo on collarbone area, so it was not easy!). I still enjoyed the experience, and I recommend anyone to get tattooed here (I would definitely come again).

I had a great experience here! The shop is clean and fairly quiet. Krystal Pearce did an excellent job on my tattoo. It looks awesome and I got tons of compliments! She was also very kind and accommodating, and made me feel very comfortable when I was nervous. Will be back soon!

Ive had great experiences with both Maddie and Krystal. One for tattoo and one for piercing. They are friendly people who make the process calm and efficient. The cleanliness is surgical; I have no worries about someone elses germs on the equipment. The quality is excellent. They know what they are doing. Will come back again.

I got tattooed by Maddie (@madnestattoos) this past Saturday and I can’t possibly sing her praises more. My tattoo is a super precise font with very thin letters and she was able to masterfully get every line so beautifully. I was so impressed with her abilities and she could not have been nicer! The shop atmosphere is very friendly, super clean and very professional. Overall, it was such a positive experience that I’m already planning on my next piece!

Please do not go to this shop. The customer service is very subpar and a little dishonest. They offer apprenticeships & require deposits but state that they can be refunded. I submitted mine but asked for it to be refunded. It has been several weeks & I still have not received any reply or update whatsoever. I’ve called the shop, a man named Jeremy who represents Ink Different, emailed the shop at different email addresses listed on their website, message the location on social media & I have not received any sort of reply whatsoever in several weeks. Please do not go here & waste your time & money, they are trying to steal your money when it comes to programs they offer.

I got my tattoo done by Maddie and I am in love with it! Shes super nice and made sure we were all comfortable. It was a good experience overall. I would definitely come back and get more tattoos from her! Her work is amazing!

Maddie was so kind and completely patient with me as we talked about adding to a tattoo that I’ve had for years. And also in designing a new tattoo that I loved. And I do love it! It’s beautiful and so beautifully intricate that most people can’t believe it’s a real tattoo at first. I would definitely recommend Maddie and Body Art & Soul to anyone. It’s important to note that when I was getting my work done that there were all women artists and all women customers as well. That’s a plus for me and may be for someone who may want a tattoo but feels intimidated about the process. I’m already thinking about my next piece of artwork, and it is art! Just gorgeous!

Ive been to the shop twice for piercings and tattoos, my environmental and personal experiences were amazing. The shop is clean and beautifully decorated with art. Sarah did my piercings and Maddie did my tattoos. They both gave me all the time that we needed to have a perfect outcome and a fantastic experience. Everyone in the shop is friendly and helpful. Madeline Harvey placed my tattoos just last week. Her work is extraordinary! Just beautiful! I am a nurse, and a cancer survivor. Amazing experience with Maddie at Body Art and Soul Tattoo!!My best friend and I wanted to get matching/similar tattoos as our first tattoos, and had a concept in mind: flowers and a nod to our friendship mantra “wherever the wind takes us”. We had been searching for the right tattoo artist for a long time, and once we found Maddie on Instagram (@madnestattoos) we knew she was a perfect match for the style we wanted, and it was a huge plus that she loves doing floral tattoos! We sent her an email and set up a consultation two weeks later. She was so easy to talk to and bounce ideas off of, and it’s clear she loves what she does. We set up our tattoo appointment with her before we left the shop that day. She sent us two different sketches via email a few weeks later and they were so beautiful! We had a lot of questions and some adjustments, and Maddie was very receptive and responded promptly each time insuring well each got designs we loved! That same energy carried forward into the appointment, and her work station and the whole shop are so clean and organized, and we felt so comfortable there. We’re all pet mommas so we chatted about our pets while getting tattooed, and the time flew by! We also got to talk to some of the other tattoo artists there, like Kash, and the artists feel like one big supportive family.We are so thrilled with our tattoos and would 100% recommend Maddie to anyone!

Body Art & Soul Tattoo is a great place to get a nice piece of art done. I went in today to get a floral piece done by Maddie H. and I had the best experience. She was extremely helpful from the beginning, which was when I called back in 2019 during the holidays, to the time I walked out of the shop when the piece was finished.The shops environment is very welcoming and positive. Highly recommended! I got my first tattoo by Dallas and he made the whole experience super comfortable and welcoming. He did an impeccable job tattooing the sketches i brought in and mimicked them perfectly, even better than i could’ve hoped for. So much talent and great vibes at this shop! I was looking for good reviews for body piercings and decided to stop by this shop. At the time I stopped by, the piercing artist (Krystal) wasn’t available but I was given her contact information. I touched base with her the next day and she responded quickly, setting me up with her next available appointment. I was nervous upon arrival but she walked me through everything and I petted feeling like a boss! Love how it looks and would highly recommend.

I recently got a couple pieces done/updated here by Maddie (@madnestattoos), and she was fantastic. My work was pretty simple, but she still put thought and effort into figuring out what I was really trying to go for, and sent me sketches a few days before our appointment. Most importantly to me, she spent a lot of time with the stencils making sure that the placement/alignment was perfectly right, which I really appreciated--especially because I couldnt really check for myself. Shop has a really good vibe, and pricing was totally reasonable too. Highly recommended.

Maddie is amazing. She spent time changing colors in the tattoo sketches to make sure I saw all of my options before choosing my final design. She is kind and patient. The shop has a nice friendly vibe. Most importantly, my tattoo looks beautiful. It is even more beautiful than I imagined!

Very well-kept shop with a friendly atmosphere. I recently had my first tattoo done by one of the artists there, Maddie, and she did an absolutely terrific job. She helped me take my somewhat vague/abstract idea and make it into an actionable design. I couldnt be happier with the result, though the design seemed horrendously difficult—kind of an oil-on-water look in a circle—and despite her never having done a tattoo of this type. Definitely will be going back for my next one!

Sarah was my tattoo artist. I saw one of her designs and immediately knew it was for me. Everything about the tattoo process was great. Absolutely phenomenal talent. Super kind staff. I admire my artists welcoming attitude & receptiveness to collaborating ideas til my vision comes to fruition. I also appreciate that my artist acknowledges when she is uncomfortable doing something she is not already experienced with. That takes a high level of professionalism to be responsible enough to admit to the limits of their expertise, which I highly respect... not all artists practice that humility & would take the risk for the benefit of financial gain. I find that there is an open line of communication that makes my experience in this studio comfortable. I enjoy my time there, I leave thrilled w the work I receive every single time. I havent been able to afford any work for 2 years which is why I didnt name drop; not sure who is still there... First time here and I got a tattoo done by Maddie, who I discovered on Instagram prior. She was super nice and accommodating, and upon emailing she was able to fit me in her schedule super quick! Shop was clean and the staff seemed cool. I would definitely come back here.

I could not recommend this studio and the artists here enough!!I had the absolute best experience here. Everyone was so welcoming and kind, and made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire experience.I had my tattoo done by Sarah, who not only was incredibly kind and amazing throughout he tattoo process and even in the days after, but also is an INCREDIBLE artist, and I am IN LOVE with my new ink.I’ve been to so many other shops, and never have had such a seamless and comfortable experience, from setting up the appointment, to chatting throughout my tattoo (she constantly made sure I was comfy), and even after checking up on me in the days after to make sure everything was going well.Now, I can’t imagine getting a tattoo anywhere else and I’m so excited to go back.20/10 will always recommend!!!

My cousin and I came in together to get tattoos from Krystal in January 2019, and we absolutely loved her. She was patient with us while we figured out exactly how we wanted everything to look, and was fun to work with! We had a great time getting to know her and were so happy with the results. Both of our tattoos were beautifully done, and even though Krystal had to stay past closing time to finish for us, she was incredibly kind. She also followed up with us afterward to make sure that everything was healing up well.

This place is great! I got tattooed by Maddie and I just love how it turned out. Shes very detailed oriented, kind, and thorough. Every one here knows what there doing and will happily answer any questions you have. Its a very clean and friendly atmosphere. Highly reccomend this place and Maddie, shes awesome!

Friendly, amazing staff. Feels like walking into a bar where everyone knows you even if they dont. The artist there are extremely talented and focus a lot on customer care. I had an incredible experience with one of their guest artists from their sister shop in LA, Chris Dolphin. He made the experience entertaining and was very mindful of his work. Got my hand tattooed so all this helped to ease that pain so much. Highly recommend!

This was a great experience, Krystal made sure that I was comfortable and most importantly that I was satisfied with the placement of my piercing. She went over the aftercare which is important especially for those who have not had a body piercing before. Just had the most amazing experience at Body Art and Soul Tattoo! When my 17 year old daughter asked for a tattoo as a birthday gift, I was reluctantly hesitant but knew she’d eventually do it on her own, so decided to participate in her adventure. Maddie Harvey seemed to instinctively create the concept we wanted. Her artistic talent and tattooing expertise are obvious; her patient, kind and gentle disposition are enviable. I am lucky to have crossed paths with this place and this artist!

Once I walked in here I felt extremely welcomed,amazing staff and my tattoo artist Amelia Moore was super friendly,down to earth. She wasnt like a normal tattoo artist,she talks to you and makes you feel like youve her forever. Do yourself a favor and stop in and see what they have to offer. You wont be disappointed.

Maddie drafted a beautiful design and the actual tattoo turned out a thousand times better and I could not be happier. Mostly female-operated shop with an apprenticeship program. I find both those things to be really cool. Plus my artist, Maddie, was super patient, kind, and willing to work with me till she perfected the design I was looking for. Most important, she uses smaller needles and has a really gentle hand. I totally recommend Maddie and the shop itself. Plus, its got the coolest bathroom ever.

Wow! I knew Mila was good from the photos my friend showed me, and her design was phenomenal, but the finished product absolutely blew me away. Her suggestions during the design process really helped bring my idea to life. Very clean, very patient, and pretty sweet music too! I owe my friend a beer or two for the recommendation, as I think I found a-go to artist.

I wish so much that I could have kept my 5 star review. I cant even give this place two anymore and if I could give it zero I would.I was given the artist Mila first for a half sleeve she promised me around $500. After $400 she ghosted me.Then I was assigned Ruby, we had no discussion about the cost but she made it clear her prices would be higher. She said she would be treating me as though I was coming from another tattoo parlor even though I hadnt. I asked if the shop could help with a compromise, and I guess I got too emotional because I scared her off by asking for a compromise.Then I message them again on Instagram (again, SO unprofessional to contact through there) telling them ruby backed out and eventually after a while, I get told that they are rejecting me as a client.I highly recommend NEVER going to this place, no matter what anyone tells you. I had so many good recommendations but here I am with a completely unfinished tattoo and the company seems to not care one iota. If things go wrong for you, they will not care

Sarah has done my last four tattoos, and each time I go back, I always end up with a new favorite tattoo.She and I have an excellent relationship when it comes to figuring out the right design. She listens to my initial idea, adds her own style, and the end result is always on point!Also, she gave my husband his very first tattoo, and the amount of compliments he gets on it makes me happy and jealous at the same time.

Sasha is the best. She has done 3 different tatoos for me, and I love them all. She is very talented and thoughtful, and worked with me to design exactly what I wanted, and even surpassed what I hoped for. Every aspect of my experience was exceptional, including the aftercare. Sasha even came in to open the shop on her time off to change the Sani-derm patch covering my fresh tattoo. If it wasnt for the fact that my wife has threatened me with amputation if I get any more, I would go back again and again.

I had thee best experience here. So I got my forward helix pierced while I was in California. I was so jet leg when I came back to philly I passed out and slept on my new piercing. I woke up to a swollen forward helix I wanted to cry. I googled some shops near me and no one was opened until 12:00 - 1:00 pm. But they opened at 10:00am I was happy! I waited and called and told them what happened and she told me to come in ASAP. I rush over there I was greeted by Krystal she was soooo sweet, kind and gentle with me. The jewelry I had in didn’t have a enough room for swelling so she cleaned my piercing and changed the bar to a longer one. I was so happy that I didn’t have to take out my piercing because of swelling or infection. I would definitely go back there for my next piercing. If you do go ask for Krystal she’s the best!!!

Had a very pleasant experience with Krystal. She pierced my belly button, and my friend’s cartilage. I never felt nervous about the utensils not being clean. The work environment was kept very clean, and Krystal was very knowledgeable in her profession. Overall, it was a great experience.

I had some work done by Kash and the result was a beautiful cover up that shows no sign of the previous tattoo as well as a couple of additions that bring out the new tattoo. The shop is very clean, spacious and the artist were friendly. Kash also surprised me with a follow up text days later to check on my healing, which was a first in all of the years I have been getting tattoos I never had an artist do a check in. Great work. Great artist and I will return for more work in the future.

Dallas May did mine and my sisters tattoos. The drawing he created was so beautiful. He made it unique from all of the sister tattoos you see online and he asked the right questions to personalize it for us so it had true meaning. This was my 3rd tattoo by Dallas and Im always amazed that his tattoos are painless! He has an artists hand!

I got one of my favorite tattoos here for an unbeatable price by the artist Ronak. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. they re-positioned the stencil several times at my request without pressuring me (an experience Ive heard can happen at other shops). the receptionist chatted me up and kept my mind off the pain. Super clean, super nice rising talent at a good price. (didnt intend to rime but it does. Deal with it) keep an eye on their facebook page and Instagram for sweet flash deals around holidays.

Tattoo shops can be hit-or-miss re: customer service and comfortability, but man does Body Art & Soul do it right! I walked in yesterday to see if there was any availability and was helped right away, even had two different staff members check on me while I was looking through their books to make sure I had been helped. The piece I chose ended up belonging to an artist who couldnt stay to tattoo me, but she very kindly passed me along to another artist, Kash, who was gracious enough to take me same day.I just felt so comfy throughout the whole experience! Kash chatted with me and checked in on me throughout the session to make sure I wasnt in too much pain (and gave me some candy to get me through). Other members of the shop would jump into our conversation too which made the space feel very open. During our quiet moments I got to look around at all the artists sketching or watch as Kash brought my new piece to life.Ive never been to a shop more than once before but I know Ill be back here. (Also, as a woman whos been talked down to/otherwise not treated well at tattoo places before, it was awesome to be in a shop where so many women work and where everyone is respectful and chill.) Sarah, is a Fantastic artist! Her line work is killing it! I have mad respect for her and I’ve mad her my sole artist on the East coast. Sarah travels monthly to Expand her education and tat skills. Before Sarah Seveney, Whispering Danny viva, Kansas City Missouri, was the only artist I would work with. Call me, what you will but ppl take your artist seriously cause tattoos are forever and you are moving/ living Canvas that bears their name. I’m proud Sarah Seveney art is on me forever.

This shop has alot of talented artists. Yes theyre young but thats not a reason to avoid checking them out.. Good work comes out of this shop. Clean place with a great vibe and great people from all walks of life. No negativity here, no room for hate or haters, life is too short for that.. As an apprentice here i understand that its hard work and nothings easy but all things are possible with the right attitude.

A year ago, I got a Kanji tattoo in Japan that means love. When I returned home, I decided that I wanted to extend the tattoo so that it would read Love, Peace, Happiness. Of course, I didnt have the font that I used in Japan.Krystal was able to look at my pre-existing tattoo and the handwritten words I wanted to add and sketch out the remaining words which match it to a T. Sure, it hurt, but no pain no gain. Its absolutely stunning.
