Absolutely loved getting my piercings done here! Abi is so sweet and patient. She really helped me when it came to styles and I am so happy I went to her! She also helped me upgrade my old jewelry while I was there as well.

Miguel did a fantastic job. He explained the process In detail, made sure I was comfortable and happy. What a masterpiece!

Nick did my 1st tattoo back in 2017. So while visiting from Alabama my daughter and I decided to stop by and see him and get a new tattoo for our girls trip we just took. He took our idea and made it better. Great artist and great shop

I have been to this shop for a piercing and originally what was supposed to be ONE tattoo. Because of the superior work, that ONE tattoo is getting turned into 1/4 sleeve. The shop is extremely clean and the staff are very helpful. Nick did my tattoo and will be doing the rest of the work. He really listens to you. Abi made me feel so comfortable before my piercing and both answer any questions I have at any time!!! I would highly recommend Angry Elephant Tattoos!!!

I got a tattoo done by eric (mind you im 17) and this was my third tattoo but largest one by far and he made sure i was comfortable the whole time during the process and the tattoo turned out amazing with great detail and shading highly recommend him and angry elephants in general

I went in a few months ago to get my tongue pierced and it was a quick and painless process. Abi talked through every step, letting me know what was going on, and there was no judgment when I almost passed out lol. My piercing is doing great still and I will 100% be returning in the near future to get the rest of my piercings done!

Had an awesome experience at the angry elephant me and two of my good friends spontaneously decided to get tattoos around midnight and Grizzle our tattoo artist did an amazing job not only with his work but accomodating us and staying way later than he had to all in all an amazing night Ill never forget!!!

This is one of the best places to get a tattoo from. All the staff is great and my artist David Goetz is an amazing artist. Every tattoo hes given me I have received plenty of compliments on and I always bring him and angry elephant up. They are awesome very welcoming!... Eric did my tattoo he was awesome a little on the quiet side but makes you feel comfortable and checked on you to make sure your doing good. I cannot say enough great things about Angry Elephant and Nikki Moon, but Ill try! On 9/13/20, I had an appointment with Nikki for two small tattoos. This is my second time here and both times, the experience was great. Nikki took my designs, scaled them to fit where I wanted, and both tattoos (one on the outside of each wrist) are beautiful. I had two pieces done on my ankles back in May and that experience was also flawless and easy. My tattoos heal quickly with little pain and barely bled.The staff up at the front desk is super friendly and likes to joke around, which is awesome when youre a little bit nervous or anxious. No matter how many tattoos I have, I always have a little bit of nerves before I sit down in the chair but Nikki and the rest of the staff make me laugh and feel at ease. I have plans to come back in October for yet another tattoo and I cant imagine going anywhere else. Prices here are also pretty great. Although Im sure you could find lower prices somewhere else, you wont get the quality that you get here and that is worth every penny.Ive also shopped at the smoke shop thats connected and I highly recommend the shop as well for quality and variety. They have CBD products (including gummies!) as well as pipes in beautiful designs. This shop also does piercings and Ive never been pierced here yet... but that will probably change shortly.

Just went here for my second time today. I went in for a coverup with David Goetz. I basically gave him the go ahead to do what he thought was best & to just incorporate sunflowers. It turned out amazing! I’m in love with it. A million times better than what I had before. I definitely recommend going here & seeing David! You won’t be disappointed.

I was privileged enough to be tattooed by David Goetz Suganutt. The entire process was seamless, and his work is beyond impressive. I could not have been happier with the art and line work. My request was not something easy and Davids professionalism and talent were beyond my expectations. The shop is EXTREMLY clean and welcoming. You will not be disappointed. Thanks David! I had a great experience here.saturday, and cant wait to go back in. I went in with a plan and Eric made it happen. Very professional, very precise, and extremely good at what he does. My tattoo looks great! Mario was amazing and so nice! The 3 stars are because the two individuals sitting at the front desk were incredibly rude. From the second we walked in they made us feel like we should’ve just went home. One was shaking her head at my sisters tattoo idea making her feel insecure about getting it. They were short with answers and smart asses when asked questions. Everyone else there was super nice and did great work! The first time I was there everyone was nice. I’m glad I stayed to get my tattoo done it looks amazing.

So I got my first tattoo today and it was AMAZING!!! The minimum for tattoos is $60 which I think is great. I paid $60 for the phases of the moon stretching across my foreman. Mario took care of me and he was so nice and comforting when he found out it was my first tattoo. The piercer Matt was super chill and funny as hell. The shop was super clean, great service and awesome people. I had a great time and I’m definitely going back!!!

Had to stop in today after a piercing emergency and even though their piercer got off at 6pm they were great with making sure I had the right jewelry and was satisfied when I left. Decent price point too.

Best tattoo shop ever! I went in yesterday as a walk in, and everyone there was so nice. Mario did my tattoo, and his line work is amazing. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MATT & ARTHUR (who is a Hufflepuff✨). I came in for a septum and was high key nervous for some reason. Matt has the best personality & has the right confidence a professional/knowledgeable piercer should have. I was definitely worried about my septum being crooked or in the wrong spot cause I’ve read horror stories. Matt did incredible and it was virtually painless. Like the clamps to hold it hurt worse than the actual piercing. I can’t say enough good about the staff. It was very clean as well. Matt said I can follow up any time if I have questions. I appreciate the energy here ❤️ I won’t go anywhere else now. Thanks guys.

Let me first say, Arthur at the front desk is the absolute pinnacle of customer service. It is rare to meet someone you know you can trust right off the bat, but for that same person to speak as smoothly as a car salesman is trully a rarity. I would be lying if I havent been thinking of offering him a job as the face of my business.As for the shop; it is clean, orderly, and stocked. Feels welcoming and prices are excellent, for what you are paying for. It is a no BS atmosphere. They take care of military.Give this mom and pop shop a chance, they wont disappoint.

Went to Matt to get a piercing done. He is highly professional and made the whole process for myself and my 2 friends that also went to get piercings done smooth and great experience. He is highly recommended. Down to earth and keeps you laughing not one of the piercers that “are there just for their job”. His line work is great and i was extremely satisfied and always get a boat load of compliments. Only person i will allow to touch me with a needle. I had gotten my nose pierced here a while back (Thanks Matt!) and loved how it turned out. Everyone was really nice to me and I had a great experience. I decided to come back to the same location for a smaller tattoo, but made the mistake of coming in my work uniform. A man at the front counter (who I’m assuming doesn’t typically work the front counter) was immediately so condescending about my job. Working in customer service, I’m used to it and laughed it off trying to move forward with what I was wanting to do. The comments he made toward my line of work made me so uncomfortable and uneasy that I ended up backing out of getting the tattoo that I wanted. The woman who was going to do my tattoo was very kind, and so was the man I’m assuming typically runs the front counter. As for the other guy, he was super unprofessional. I would assume that if you wanted someone to purchase your products and services you’d be kind to them? But instead I was insulted and he was beyond rude.

Came into Angry Elephant for nipple piercings after a previous bad experience elsewhere. I had heard good feedback about Matt here at Angry Elephant and he did not disappoint. Its been about 6 weeks and my piercings are both fully healed and look beautiful. I highly recommend this shop and Matt. I went for the $13 tattoo and had Mario. Great guy but rushed and went through 4 people in like 8 minutes and my lines are squiggly and he didnt finish my friends tattoo. It was just a leaf that wasnt finished but the fact still remains. I understand that its a busy day and there was a decent amount of people but I feel like if he took his time they would have came out better. Its a very clean shop with very nice people just a rough day.

Matt is hands down the best piercer Ive met!He has fixed some of my piercings by others who were obviously not nearly as knowledgeable or experienced. I am always able to trust him 110% with any of my piercings needs. I will not let anyone else even change jewelry for me anymore.

I havent gotten a tattoo but I get e-cigarette liquid here. Its decently priced and hand mixed right in front of you. The liquid always tastes great and doesnt gum up my device coils. The guy usually working the counter is very knowledgeable and I usually have a great conversation about something or other while he is mixing my order.

Eric Henry is amazing! If youre looking for an honest, professional, visionary artist, go see Eric. I have nothing but true admiration for him and his artistic talents. He puts so much of himself into each tattoo; meticulous detail, flawless. We went in after going to two Atomic locations that told my wife that they could not do a simple hand tattoo. Nikki Moon was awesome! Not only did she say yes I will be happy to do it, she did an amazing job. We live in Bradenton and this will be our go to tattoo shop from no on.

I had my septum piercing done at another shop. I didnt really care for the experience I had at the other shop, so I went here because I was having the hardest time trying to get out the segment clicker the piercer put in my nose. Come to find out, he put copper in my nose and it had oxidized shut. They were all super friendly and Matt hooked me up with new jewelry to replace my shotty one that was now green. He was able to pry it open and put in my retainer with no pain 😊 Ill be back here for sure to get my nostril done!

First I do want to say the guy at the front counter is epic at customer service hes absolutely amazing. I missed my first appointment, i am very sorry for that. called when I realized an hour later that I missed it. Rescheduled. Showed up for the appointment the tattooist- Nikki Moon had a picture and was ready to tattoo. I paid the $50 consult fee thinking we were going to consult on what I wanted not that she would show up with a picture that looked like a chicken not a raven and put it on my arm without any input from me. The attitude was so classless. I also purchased body jewelry that was not real they did give me a credit towards more jewelry. But why am I going to buy more jewelry when I was just treated like absolute s***! I could have been a really good source and customer! Thanks but no thanks.

Matt is hands down one of the best piercers in the Tampa Bay Area! I came to Matt for my philtrum (medusa) and Nipples he was super professional and explained the whole process as he went. The shop had a large selection of jewelry to choose from! He also informed me of all the proper aftercare. The shop was beyond exceptionally clean and the staff were super friendly! I have referred many friends to Matt and the shop!

A girl did my tattoo. This was my first tattoo ever and it was an amazing experience. She talked to me a lot and distracted me. It came out looking EXACTLY like the picture. The minimum was a little expensive for such a small tattoo but the quality was great and that is why this is getting 5 stars. I feel like if I went somewhere cheaper they wouldn’t have done as good of a job. I’ve seen lots of girls with my same tattoo and it doesn’t look nearly as good as mine. Love this place ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

My girlfriends and I stopped in yesterday and talked with Lauren Margo about getting three similarly inspired tattoos. This afternoon after a very short bit of consultation she showed us our designs and we were all so happy!Her designs were strong and skillful and the resulting tattoos are nothing short of perfect! Shop is spotless, and everyone there was so friendly...but above all, Deidre was amazing! She listened and designed the perfect coverup for some work I had wanted to fix/finish for almost a decade. She was encouraging through some painful spots and I was not only amazed at how beautiful her work is, but how quickly she created it!

Couldnt be happier with this shop. I went in with an open mind for a tattoo for my wife. I saw some incredible portfolio work and very friendly staff. After having such a great experience I asked an artist Suga Nutt about a piece Ive been trying to have done for years but I never found an artist capable of doing such a large piece. Angry Elephant made it happen and the two hour drive is MORE than worth it. Clean. Very well priced. I have over 90 hours worth of tattoos. I recommend this place and none other.

It was awesome! I got my belly button pierced there for my birthday a while back, theyre safe and clean! You wouldnt expect guys and/or girls covered in tattoos and piecings to be have so much respect and kindness for their customers!

Been here before to purchase a septum ring with my daughter. That experience was great! We paid for the jewelry and tipped for putting it in. Today was a different story. We went to purchase a piece of jewelry that was $10. I had planned on giving my daughter tip money when she informed me they charged her $10 for changing jewelry. Personally, I think thats too much but forget my opinion, that shouldve been mentioned before receiving the service...especially if you have been there before and didnt get charged for jewelry change. On top of that, the ball came off the septum ring as soon as we got home. Sloppy and expensive work. Thankfully there are new shops on my area that we will now give a chance to.

Keely pierced my ear for me. Got 2 cartilage piercings! She was awesome! Very knowledgeable and informative. Id go back to her anytime! Shes not one of those tattoo or piecing artists that seem unapproachable! Shell answer all your questions and shes a cool chick to deal with. This was my first time with her! She made feel very comfortable!

Shaina Jener- is ridiculous. SHE placed the marker where SHE wanted it. The guy with “21 years experience” literally told her that’s not a good spot. I have gotten piercings and tattoo here multiple times and NEVER had a problem. They are all great and sweet as can be! High key recommend this place! :)

Got alot of work done 5 years ago for 200 very satisfied so came back 5 years later and had a small amount of work done a hours worth and was qouted by manager 140 to 165 so said yes when done price went up to 200 for work is usually 100 worth make sure price is price walking out the door .. never going back

I wanted ear piercings done but didn’t know where to go since I recently just moved here. When I searched for nearby tattoo/piercing shops, Angry Elephant Tattoos popped up and decided to give it a go and I’m glad I came here. Especially glad for Matt as he was very professional, funny and chill!!! I’d definitely come back here for more piercings and tattoos :)

My first tattoo done here was very sloppy. Bad line work, unfilled spots and dull colors. I came in wanting a specific tattoo that I was wanting for the longest time and ended up with something completely different. His excuse was well this ones better. He was also very inappropriate and overly sexual with me. Good thing I had just turned 18 at the time while being hit on by a grey - haired nasty man. Never again will I get a tattoo or ANYTHING from here. And the best part is, i was charged $250 for a SMALL tattoo that wasnt even what I had requested. Nor did he spend any time putting in detail! Outrageous prices for awful work and rude artists.

I stopped in looking for a new tattoo. I was helped very quickly and was able to get the tattoo done that night. Lauren Margo was my artists. She was excellent and did a great job. I wIll definitely go back to her to have more work done.

Matt is a great and patient dude. I came in to take out a piercing because I thought I wasn’t taking care of it correctly. He questioned where I got it done, (Atomic at the mall) and continued saying how the gauge was wrong, the type of jewelry could cause tearing and the piecer didn’t inform me the correct way to clean it. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Angry elephant to everyone.

Ana pierced my Helix today, she did a amazing job! I barely felt it! And she was extremely patient with me and made me feel comfortable. Because I was extremely nervous! It was my first time getting a piercing in a tattoo shop and not using a piercing gun. If I get another piercing, Im going to go back and see Ana!

Haven’t had any experience with the tattoo side but from how I hear the artist talk and work they have skill, on the other side it’s always a blast super friendly staff, knowledgeable with a variety of items. They aim high and hit the target, god job guys!

I am 66 yrs old and had been talking about getting a tattoo for a few years. We were in Florida for the winter and I thought “I’m going to do it”. I love Manatees so that is what I wanted.I read the reviews about The Angry Elephant and I called and made an appointment. My husband and I went to the Winter Haven location and Miquel was so patient and did such a beautiful job. It was exactly what I was wanting. If you need a tattoo have Miquel do it. You will be happy with his work.

I have had Matt do all my piercings. He is extremely good at what he does. I don’t trust anyone else to do my piercings but Matt he is knowledgeable about what he does and always has a great selection in jewelry.

Went here for first time today to get a piercing fixed that atomic in the mall done.Matt is the one who fixed my piercings he was really great talked to me and made it as less painfull as possible. he explained to my boyfriend that they used wrong size bar that had threads on bar not in ball and the guy at Atomic ripped me. I highly recommend going to ANGRY ELEPHANT for any piercings .

He is professional, wonderful at taking your idea and turning it into a masterpiece, and above all his work is always clean and original. This place I thought was a nice place until I came to get a tattoo one afternoon, my boyfriend and son came along and ERIC cusses my boyfriend out trying to control how we parent, VERY unacceptable I walked out , he used very vulgar language , we refuse to use their services again. if you think there is an issue you can approach us appropriately.

Had Matt repierce my ear on an old piercing pagoda disaster. I had a good experience and got a sweet sticker. Everyone else seemed cool too and the place is clean. Would recommend.

Have been going to the Angry Elephant since 2015 and will not go anywhere else!!! I have worked with Jehzel (the Valrico location) the entire time and the other artists are very talented as well. Had one sleeve completed and started on the second yesterday. Have always left 100% satisfied and eager to go back. Im ALWAYS stopped and asked where I get my work done. In 2015 Jehzel won second place at the Tampa Tattoo Convention with my sleeve. People tend to forget you get what you pay for so if you would like quality work from a professional I would highly recommend the Angry Elephant.

Just wondering how long it’s gonna take you to address that you have David working for you yet online he’s saying he doesn’t think this pandemic is real and doesn’t believe in masks, that Trump is our Lord and Savior & everyone who thinks otherwise is a Scheeple.. definitely doesn’t make me want to get any sort of tattoo or piercing or anything that would be breaking my skin because I can’t imagine that’s very safe in a tattoo shop.& now he’s harassing people and saying he knows where they live and who they are!? Yeah not somebody I would want to represent my company.

My sister and I got our nose pierced and my best friend got her tragus pierced, all by Matt! He was awesome and so were the rest of the staff. Would definitely go back.

Recently bought myself a birthday tattoo that Ive been wanting for quite some time. All of my friends come to AE for any of their tattoing/ piercing needs. Its a very clean and sterile environment with great employees who are always there to help. I originally had no idea who I wanted to do my piece, but knew I had wanted to have it done at AE. Upon some research, I had found that Jon Santos was the best candidate for my piece. His line work was mega clean, and his use of shading and colors were nothing short of phenomenal. This was only going to be my 5th tattoo (not to mention largest and most detailed), so naturally I was pretty nervous. My piece required a decent amount of tedious line work due to its abstract design, and he killed it. Not only was the end result everything I was hoping it would be, but Jon works with a very light and quick hand. I HIGHLY recommend heading over there and talking to Jon if youre considering a new tattoo.

I dont think Ive ever given a bad review in my life but theres a first time for everything and this place has earned it! I went in with my cousin to get a simple tiny heart on our shoulders. We were okay paying the $60 minimum because we understand that it takes time to set up and everything. I will attach pictures of our hearts and let you decide on how happy you would be for this work. I tried to reach out to them via Facebook and Instagram but havent heard back. So Im just here to warn you what type of work is being produced. The first two pictures is of my heart and the last picture of my cousins heart. This wasnt even free handed, there was a stencil.

The blond hair women charged me twice on my card she said it didnt go threw the first time but it said approved. Then she did it again. Now Im looking at my bank with two transactions. When my daughter was done with her piercing Mat said I was specail (like I was stupid) and thats where my daughter gets it.( I guess he has this try to be funny but it wasnt funny thing going on with him) He was kind of rude to the people in front of us telling them they needed to hurry up because he has people after them . But my daughter was the only one he had to do next. But Mat was the only person that would do my 12 year old belly button on a SUNDAY I called every tatoo shop in lakeland . The price $60 that included notary. That seemed pretty steep for belly piercing. The lady on phone said it was $45 for piercing and $10 for notary that = $55 I dont know where $60 came from

I have had several sessions with Jezz and have spoken with the owner several times. Both great guys. Jezz is so much more of an artist than I could have imagined. I brought a couple ideas in and he transformed them into something I could have never imagined. Vibrant, multidimensional, and completely over the top. Come in with an open mind, talk with them about the concepts, then let the artist come out and amaze you. I cannot express how great a job they do.

Went in for a tattoo, and it was a great first experience. My tattoo artist was suga nutt, he was very nice and very talented. Overall recommend this tattoo shop. Ive gotten a piercing her as well and everyone is very humorous and kind.

Shout-out to my amazing tattoo artist David Goetz aka Suganutt!!!! Can I give him more than 5 stars??!!!!!! I was told at some other shop that I have to laser removed my previous tattoo if i want to get the cover up I wanted, so I stop at the Angry Elephant shop in Brandon looking for someone to save my arm from the ugly tattoo I got about 8plus yrs. And there he was Suganutt, he told me if theres a will theres a way and I cant be more excited, happy and in love with my now full sleeve mandalas flower tattoo. I highly recommended if you want to get a good, clean, unique work and like he did with me if you dont know exactly what you want he will find that right piece you want.

Piercer “with 21 years experience” has horrible attitude and sucks at SIMPLE nose piercing. Went right back to get it fixed since it was clearly crooked, he made every excuse not to repierce it including “I’m a professional” “it’s the shape of your nose” “it’s the nose ring you’re wearing” “it’s supposed to look like that” & “it’s your fault bc you chose the placement” (which clients ARE entitaled to do), also (he looked at & agreed too) It was a simple mistake/fix as I told him.. although there was too much pride to admit that. I went to another shop right after, they immediately noticed the issue and agreed that it’s pierced “horribly” crooked. Seeing my frustration, they repierced it (in the same spot). Was a simple fix. Like I had stated.***HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hot Box Tattoos for piercings, only 2 miles away from this shop. Very kind and knowledgeable people with the PROPER piercing tools.***

Got three tattoos tonight and love each one. He even touched up an old tattoo with no extra charge! You can tell suganutt is professional and knows exactly what he is doing. Great results, I came to Dave / Suganutt(sp) late on a Saturday with an idea and half a design. Within an hour he really nailed down what I was looking for. The tattoo came out better than I anticipated. Ill definitely be headed back to him for my next!

Called to see if they were taking walk ins and when i got there she said nobody called today. Said the artist was coming at 12 and he didnt show til 12:15 and then asked what we wanted and said he didnt do the tattoo i wanted. The lady had an attitude problem and he did too seemed like he didnt even want to be there or do tattoos. Wont be trying to get a tattoo there.

I called and spoke with someone about pricing and told him i was coming in a bit, when I came 15 minutes later the guy forgot our conversation and didnt mention on the phone that the artists wouldnt be there until 12... it was 10... then he spoke to me as if i were an idiot and didnt give him enough information... I went to Pin Up Tattoos right around the corner... they are great...

I know they say not to judge your tattoo within the first month but it’s literally horrible and I’m so upset it’s on my body for the rest of my life.It’s blotchy the ink spread and it’s no where near what I expected. It looks like a cloud of ink surrounding my tattoo

My friend and I went in to get a tattoo we were very much excited about , however we were never greeted and then when they spoke to us they had an attitude . Didnt feel excited about it at all anymore . Def wouldnt recommend to go there again . 😑

The tattoo artist by the name of jezz is extremely rude and unproffessional . I came there to get my first tattoo and when I walked in there he was already mad or upset . And he said he does not waist his time doing tattoos that cost under $200.
