Trace always does amazing work and is reasonable financially. Every tattoo I get I let him change and do his thing on it and it always turns out better than anything I would think of. Definitely recommend this shop. Paul and trace are good vibes and great artists. 10/10

Very uncomfortable experience, owner trash talks other artists work and doesnt deliver on promises. Will never be back, they are third placers for a reason save your money and go to 546 in Sandusky!

Trace did an amazing job on my husband’s tattoos. Took the ideas my husband had and added such amazing details. Very talented artist. Clean environment.

The time was taken to talk to me when they werent open and scheduled me for their next business day so that I could get my dogs paw print that passed away over the weekend... At my appointment they were very friendly and the atmosphere was fun and easy going... A great group to work with...

Stylish space, friendly and helpful artists, really professional work! Trace designed our sister tattoos and put a lot of effort into making sure we were happy with the sketch and result! Overheard another artist send walk-in clients to eat before getting their tattoo... super cool that they cared so much about their clients welfare! Definitely recommend!

Recieved some amazing tattoos on our girls weekend. From a sketch by an 8 year old daughter, to a faith arrow, and an amazing cover up chest piece, we couldnt be happier. Paul runs a clean, reputable shop. Great experience with some down to earth artists. We will definitely be back.

Trace was fantastic. My friend and I came in as a walk-in during the festival even though he was a busy guy, he got us in and was just the sweetest with fantastic work.

Friendly guys, just wish I had waited for someone else from this shop to do mine. WAY too overpriced for what I received. When I mentioned/asked about part of the tat a “short response, then not addressed. Will wait and go elsewhere and pray someone can fix it so I’m not embarrassed by it. This was a memorial, that meant a lot to me, I was grateful I could get in, wish I could’ve had another artist. No depth to tattoo, a little color (mostly pink) was supposed to blend with the mainly blue/purple tat it was to be paired with.My bad. Should have waited. First tat I’ve ever regretted.

Paul did an amazing job on my tattoo! It turned out better than I could have expected! Clean and professional shop, no hassle, on time, and very professional! I will be returning again in the future for more work!

Paul and Tracey (I hope I spelled that correctly) are two incredibly amazing artists. I walked in there with only a fraction of an idea and Tracey went above and beyond to bring my idea to life. Not to mention the cleanest work stations I’ve ever seen. I’ve never felt more comfortable at a tattoo shop than I have here. This will definitely be my go-to shop for any new ink I get. Customer service 10/10. Quality 10/10. Cleanliness 10/10.

My bf and I both got tattoos done at the same time. Paul and Tony are both great artists. We would highly recommend either one. They also scheduled us on a Sunday which is normally there day off. We both are super happy with out tats.

The artist Paul has done several tattoos for my wife and I and we are very happy with Pauls work. A true pro and amazing artist. My wife and I will continue to get ink from Paul. Congrats on new shop Paul.

Some great work... Wouldnt question the talkent. However.... Do not prepay fer anything... If a schedule is made it should be kept, or at least not made on your daughters birthday. It kinda sux waiting three months fer a scheduled tatt thats automatically gonna be rescheduled due to obvious reasons. I.e., its my little girls birthday... Also 11 mins late dont make up fer three hours if prepaid time.

I have not personally had work done by Paul, however I do know him through a previous shop that gave him a home for two years. He then chose to leave that shop on his own terms stating the owner was “too hard on him”, yet continues to try to bash the old shop and use dishonest ways to lower their ratings. I will not support an individual that tries to stoop to such a level.

My experience was absolutely awesome! Paul is awesome at what he does and the place looks amazing compared to what it used to be! Love my tattoo, will definitely be back when I decide on another.

Disclaimer: I am not in the tattoo business but I do have a couple tattoos.I have personally experienced a lack of professionalism on his part. He uses dishonest tactics to drop other shops ratings in the area in order to make his business look better. This is such a dishonest and distasteful thing to do as a human. I don’t know why anybody would openly choose to fund and back someone with with such low moral character. I am writing this review to bring to light what kind of person you are dealing with should you choose to go to him for your next piece. If you believe in cheating, lack of honesty, and a serious lack of integrity, then Paul is the right guy for you. If you have higher standards for the people you associate with/do business with, then I don’t need to say anymore. Make your own choice. Just know the facts too.

Paul is a fine tattoo artist, I do not hesitate in saying that. However, he is not a good person. He left the shop he was working at before, in the middle of the night, while he had disconnected the security cameras. He also only accepts cash so he doesn’t have to report his earnings to the government and pay taxes, or he will lose the government assistance he is receiving. The assistance that we all pay for as tax payers, that he is scamming the system out of. Give him your money if you wish, but realize we already are paying him in the form of taxes out of every pay check. I cannot respect a person that scams the system and bashes a studio and artist that employed him for 2 years.

First off just want to say, what an amazing environment. Time flys when your in here. Music selection on point, refreshments available. Paul is very professional, walks you through your tattoo process. You are truly in good hands at Asylum Ink!!

Fun artists, professional not stuffy. Billy was our artist and he did a nice job on memorial tattoo cover up. Was a good overall experience.

I have not personally been to this particular tattoo shop. However I have known the owner for years and he is an absolutely wonderful person all around. He is an amazing artist, and does wonderful work. I highly recommend Asylum ink for anybodys tattoo needs!!!

Tony is the man and does an amazing job. All of his work is outstanding and he’s respectful, talented, and professional. Wish I could give more than five stars.

Great work, great attitude and a very busy schedule. Works fast on a competitive rate, great line detail, and even shading that doesn’t appear dark or blotchy. Years of experience, and it shows.

Just because someone decided to move one from a previous job and decides to do his own thing is not a reason to bash his shop.. his job performance you couldnt comment on because you know hes good at what he does..the previous shop owner did the same thing when he walk away from his dads shop to start his own..so dont bash him for doing the same thing..
