Maria was fantastic in providing me information for after care and how the process would be like in the beginning for my very first ear piercings. No pain and enjoyed how they looked afterwards. They had the style I wanted. She helped both myself and my girlfriend in choosing best fit for our piercings. Angels Body Piercing Studio is absolutely amazing! My daughter Delilah and I have been here multiple times, and every single experience has been top-notch. Most recently, I got an industrial piercing in my left ear, and Delilah added a hooped labret as a birthday gift to herself. It was such a memorable and special bonding experience for us.We first discovered Angel’s two years ago when Delilah had an issue with a helix piercing that a friend attempted. Her friend, who was just learning, bought a piercing kit from Amazon, and unfortunately, it didn’t contain piercing-grade metals—no titanium or stainless steel. The wrong gauge was used too, which was not appropriate for a helix. Delilah was excited about the piercing, but I knew from my own experience with piercings since the 90s that it wasn’t safe. Thankfully, we found Maria at Angels. She was so welcoming and explained that the piercing wouldn’t have healed properly and could have easily gotten infected. Maria safely removed the piercing without charging us and made Delilah feel at ease by piercing her other ear with the correct jewelry and size. That gesture meant a lot to us, and we’ve trusted Angel’s ever since.The studio is incredibly clean, and both owners are extremely knowledgeable about body piercings. You can tell they’ve been in the game for a while. Their professionalism and friendliness make the experience enjoyable and safe. The fact that they prioritize their customers’ health and take the time to explain every detail really stands out. They offer excellent aftercare advice, which has helped me tremendously, especially since I had both my ears pierced with an industrial back in the day and didn’t realize the healing time was 6 to 12 months (I thought it was just two!). I learned so much this time around and feel more prepared for the healing process.Beyond their expertise, it’s become a fun little tradition for Delilah and me. I got my right nostril and earlobes. For 21 years of knowledge and experience was definitely on display yesterday. She did a phenomenal job and I feel very comfortable and the piercings were painless. Very friendly, respectable and beautiful woman. I would definitely recommend her expertise.

Maria is hands-down the most knowledgeable and gentle piercer that I have been to in a minute. This is my third round with the snake eye piercing, and when I tell you that she has made the experience already, I’m not even playing! Bit of information for instantly. And I barely felt the piercing at all! Whether this is your first piercing or just another go-round, I will hundred percent recommend coming here!

Just went here today to get an industrial piercing and i absolutely LOVE IT!! it felt literally painless and the people there were so nice. if you’re afraid of getting your ears pierced, don’t be as here the pain is so so miniscule and its 100% worth it!

Got my navel pierced yesterday. I didn’t feel 100% about any place and decided to come here and I’m happy I did! They have a great range of options for jewelry. Both of the people working there did a great job explaining everything to me and answered all my questions. I felt welcomed and they were very friendly. The process was very quick. Please. Dont let this be your First option or even your last option to get pierced Here. The only lady who does piercings is old ..I asked her before if she did Dimple piercings ,, after asking so many shops she Was the one who said Yes. clearly she doesn’t , she had to pierce My cheeks TWO times . I should’ve left for being a HUGE red flag but I stayed. when I got home both my piercings were extremely unsymmetrical meaning she couldn’t have the decency to Make sure they WERE EVEN. Please don’t go here . I had to find someone to switch out my piercings just to find out they use Extremely cheap jewelry from AMAZON. My face was swollen because of it . I wish I had enough power to shut this place down Please don’t come to this shop .

I didnt like it at all, I dont recommend it. The attitude of a woman who works there is very bad; She made us feel like we were asking a favor. Her treatment of us was very bad. She doesnt realize that thanks to the people who go shopping she eats. I think they should put educated people to serve customers.

I got a piercing done here, my belly button. It went well and the woman doing my piercing was kind, and very informative about what was going to happen and the healing process and such. The piercing was almost painless and quick. I bought 2 bottles of cleaner for my piercing and I was out the door. Great experience. 2 days later after showing some people and receiving some mixed feedback I went to a different shop: Chicagos Tattoos and Piercings. I was told by the women about to assess my piercing that the piercing was crooked. She said she thinks she knew the lady who performed my piercing and wasnt sure what happened but said that it was crooked and it probably wouldnt heal well. Im going to go back in 2 weeks to have it re-pierced straight at the Chicagos tattoo and piercings. I would say Im saying this for the shop to see. Maybe be more careful and sure about how you place a piercing. I paid like 140 and had to get it removed and now have to pay more money to have it re-pierced. Kinda disappointed.

I was very nervous coming in for cartilage piercings since I wanted to get them with a needle, but was worried about the whole experience. However, Maria was super friendly and answered all of my questions. I had two helix piercings done and found the pain was much less than I had expected. Maria has such a gentle touch and is very experienced, and she always asked if I was doing ok. She also made sure to go over aftercare procedures very thoroughly and gave me cleaning solution. I would definitely recommend this place, as it’s very clean and organized, and the staff is great! The price is very reasonable for what you’re getting out of it. Thank you so much!

I’ve gotten two piercings here and have had wonderful experiences both times. Maria was my piercing artist and she is truly a master of her craft, having been doing this for 20 years! Both times, I felt that the facility was VERY clean and sanitized and I felt almost no pain. I received detailed aftercare instructions and have had no problems with the healing process. This place is a GEM!!!! I highly recommend.

I got my eyebrow piercing here. Everyone in the shop was extremely nice, it was all very sanitary and they helped talk to me when I was nervous and answered all my questions. I will be coming back if I get another piercing!

I got my eyebrow pierced today and like always Maria is amazing at what she does! Shes done all 7 of my piercings and every single one was perfect, she always goes into detail on care and shows you the needle and everything. I dont go to any other piercer this place is a 10/10 ❤️

Amazing service and great price! I got my double piercing here and the lady was so nice and kind. My friend was quite nervous but it barely hurt and she was so calming and kind. They answered all of my questions and even offer free follow-up visits if you are having an issue or are ready to change the earring. I highly recommend this place. One of the best I’ve ever been to. It was $25 per ear for the standard earring and extra if you want a nicer earring. Plus the spray and soap costs a little extra.

My friend and i decided to get nostril piercings 2gether. not only was the experience great but we both had so much fun! they were extremely informative and helpful. overall we felt very comfortable and left happy.

I’ve gotten a total of 13 piercing done here between me and my sister and I’ve never had a problem before. Recently, I had a problem with the quality and durability of the jewelry. The gem of one of my cartilage hoops came loose and fell out some time during the 6 months I purchased the piece of jewelry. I called the store and the guy basically told me it was my fault and it could have happened when I was asleep. It disappointing that such an expensive piece of jewelry can be so fragile. Safe to say I won’t be returning and I wouldn’t recommend buying their jewelry especially the ones that are +$100. Don’t recommend! I’ve also spent well over +$1,000 between me and my sister. So disappointing that all I was told is I can come in and by another piece of jewelry.Reply: I was told this was due to wear and tear which is funny because what does that tell us about the quality and durability of your jewelry. It’s been 6 months and some time during these 6 months this happened. This piece of jewelry could have been defective because I have the same exact one on my other cartilage piercing. I think this is very unfair how nothing can be done especially considering i’ve been a loyal customer. Tells you a lot about this place.

I had a very pleasant experience here! I had met with Maria and another team member (didn’t get his name) a day before getting my piercings done. They were super welcoming and friendly, answering all the questions I had with patience and detail. I appreciated Maria’s advice and gentleness. My friend and I got nose rings at Angels. My friend’s fell out after two days. Because it fell out during the day, she was able to have a new, better ring put in with a proper stopper. This was provided by a different piercing store, and she did have to pay for the service a second time. Now that she has a ring with a stopper, she is not having trouble keeping her nose ring in.My ring fell out on day four in the evening. Shops were closed. The next day I went to a professional piercer in my area. The technician determined the hole to be closed and said I would have to wait for it to heal to have it repierced. I called Angels and the technician who did the work offered to sanitize the ring and insert it back into the closed hole. She thought it may not be closed yet, even though I told her it was closed. I did not want the experience of having her attempt to reinsert the post. Angels said I could keep the jewelry, but would have to pay to have the hole repierced. I did not like this option, because if the ring falls out this easily, I will lose my investment again. My entire purchase of the nose ring, piercing, tip and cleaning products was $203.45.We left the shop very happy, but were quickly disappointed when we lost our investment. I am writing this to save you money because I spent over $200 and have no nose ring.

Omg! All I can say is Maria is amazing! This is honestly the place to go for your piercings. I was so nervous about getting my nose pierced but Maria made my experience a breeze. She’s so kind and gentle and great at keeping you calm. When I got my nose pierced I barely felt a thing. Literally was painless. I highly recommend.

Got my naval piercing done here! The man at the counter and the piercer were both super chill and nice. They also both know their stuff and really helped explain aftercare procedures with me and this is the first place I went to that had jewelry for sensitive skin, which they also explained with me. I will be coming back for more piercings in the future!

I had such a wonderful experience here. They have a very large selection of jewelry to choose for even for first time piercings. There are different materials available from your standard to gold, white gold, etc. Also they took their time educating me about the proper cleaning and overall after care. They helped me pick the best nose ring to start with and the piercer took her time selecting the most esthetically pleasing spot for it. When she was done I was shocked because I hardly felt it. Will definitely come back for future piercings! They do take walk ins and they specialize in piercings.

Had a really great experience. The piercer was really kind and gentle and kept asking if I was ok because I was pretty nervous. She also took the time to answer my questions. I didnt catch the other workers name, but he was very nice and knowledgeable as well and took the time to explain the different earring options as well as the aftercare. I had an AMAZING experience at Angels Body Piercing! The place looks a little off-putting, but the service was fantastic. They were very thorough with the process, and offered different jewelry for different price range, skin type, etc. They also offered advice for people new to piercings. I had my nose pierced by Maria, and she was great. She was very efficient, but took her time to make sure I was comfortable and in agreement with what she was doing. I felt the prices were very reasonable, and they even offered great aftercare products. I will definitely be back for more services & jewelry purchases!

I had such a great experience with Maria! I came in today to get my septum pierced and I am so happy with the results. I was a little nervous, but felt so much more comfortable once Maria walked me through the process and made sure any questions I had got answered before she started. She opened the needle and jewelry packing in front of me so I could ensure everything was sterile and sanitized. The piercing was almost painless and very quick. I highly recommend this piercing shop for everyone!

Maria and her husband run an incredible small business! Located in a difficult-to-find area, once inside I felt comfortable asking lots of questions about the quality of metals and the sterilization of tools. The whole process was very easy! Maria stressed that she prioritized a good healing process which was a great sign to me as someone with many piercings to begin with. Highly recommend. I had a very good experience with this cute little shop! Its inside of a swap Mart, and it has a very friendly and welcoming feeling to it! I believe I was helped by Juan, but I didnt actually get his name, Im going off of other reviews. I was very nervous, as I was getting both nipples pierced, but I was taken care of quickly and professionally. Filled out the paper work, went in the back and bam I had 2 new piercings! I got the aftercare instructions, which I was glad to hear were good! As someone whos had their fair share of piercings, the care instructions were on point with what I was expecting (and had already known). I really love how welcoming it felt and am so grateful to have been helped by a wonderful business!

Went in for a nose piercing and Maria explained all my options thoroughly. She had me look at her opening a fresh needle and her setup. She made sure I liked the placement 100%, didn’t rush at all, and explained everything so well. It was fast and I had minimal pain! I really enjoyed the shop and my experience was great. They are professional piercers, and use brand new, sterilized needles every time, the process is quick, clean almost painless they offer aftercare products.They do accept credit cards and cash also.

I got a nose piercing done by Maria she was the sweetest lady ever. Also Mike was such a great guy explaining how to take care of it and answering all of our questions. We did buy the after care spray as well and it’s been working great. Overall I would recommend coming here to get a piercing.

Got my nostril pierced by Maria a couple days ago, and let me just say... This little hidden gem of a spot was and is the place to get pierced. When I called to discuss my options they were super helpful and super informative. I showed up the next day to get pierced and they answered every question I had and also made good with the small talk which always chills the atmosphere. My brother and I both got our piercings done here, he got his ear pierced and I got my septum done. We both felt little to no pain and the piercing was done very quickly! Everything was very clean and sanitary, and Maria did an amazing job at explaining everything to us and was very professional! I would come here again!

Staff was soooo nice. Super educated and I had a great experience. I was feeling dizzy and they took care of me so well! It was amazing. Highly recommend. I got a conch! And my sister got her lobe and a conch. Their pricing is super transparent and they have a ton of jewelry options.

Maria was great, professional, and incredibly nice. I got 6 piercings in one sitting and ended up getting a bit sweaty and dizzy after the third. She gave me some water and pop to get my blood sugar back up, let me lie down for a few minutes, turned on a fan, and made me feel comfortable before finishing the last three. She unpackaged every new needle in front of me so I new everything was sterile, and overall was just fun to talk to during the appointment. Great communication leading up to the appointment and a good experience in general. Would definitely recommend her and the business

This play is A JOKE! Body piercing in a NON APPROVED FACILITY! She even pierces peoples noses with a HOOP!!!! Shouldnt do that! Not good for healing. Will never heal correctly. Probably why all the complaints. I will be sending her location to the health department. Are you BBP certified? Do you use Titanium jewelry to pierce? No and no. Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My first time getting pierced here went so smoothly! I got my septum done two weeks ago, Maria walked me through the whole process, showed me the products were unopened and then sanitized, and answered any questions I had. I went back today to get a new piece of jewelry, she checked I had healed enough to handle that as to not irritate the piercing and asked to make sure I wasn’t in pain the whole time. Great prices, clean, and friendly staff- I’ll definitely be going back for all my piercing/jewelry needs!

My friend and I both got our piercings done here! He got eyebrow and nose and I got nose and industrial. I’m very very pleased we came here. Was an hour drive from where I live but definitely worth it. The atmosphere is so chill and they really keep you informed and make sure you’re good! Definitely recommend.

This shop is amazing! My 9 year old wanted her ears pierced and after a bad experience at 5 Uears old with Claires we both were nervous. The man at the counter was super knowledgeable and put us both at ease. The piercing went seamlessly and the shop was so clean and careful. Id highly recommend it to anyone but especially for kids!

Just got a nose piercing yesterday and it is healing very well. I was a last minute customer with no appointment and Maria told me I was more than welcome for a walk In when I called. She was very nice and told me she had experience of over 17 years! I was with my friends and when they saw how well and professional she was with my piercing one of my friends decided to get a double cartilage piercing ! I highly recommend this piercing shop and I will definitely go to her for my next piercing.

I’ve been coming to Angel’s Body Jewelry since I was 14, I’m 24 now! Maria has done my piercings, my sister’s piercings & now my daughter’s first ear piercings! Her husband and father have also done a few of my piercings as well. I can’t say enough nice things about them. This place is clean & has a variety of beautiful jewelry and the owners are AMAZING. At the age of 43, I finally decided to pierce my earlobes for the first time. I had 2 cartilage piercings, a former lip ring, naval ring, nose ring, and eyebrow so I had a lot of experience just never did the earlobes before. I was happy to find a shop entirely dedicated to piercings because usually they are mixed in with the tattoo shop. You guys rock! Maria is super cool and knowledgeable. They have a lot of jewelry and fun things to choose. Their pricing is very reasonable and almost reminiscent of what I was paying in the 90s! I cant wait to go back and get another cartilage, and probably a libret down the line. yay - piercings!!! :)

I have gone to this shop for two of my piercings, my septum and today I went for snake bites. Staff is extremely friendly, they give you all the information you need and make you feel welcome. Lets say this is my go-to shop from now on!

I got my first piercing ever here and the shop owners took the time to make me feel completely comfortable. My septum piercing didn’t hurt at all and Maria took the time to explain every step of the way. Highly recommend especially if you’re nervous/ a first timer. So this was my first time hearing about this place and going here. My piercing came out really well and the piercer was very clean and my Medusa piercing was very painless and quick! I definitely recommend this place. They are small but they are very safe, clean and knowledgeable.

I stopped coming here due to my prior experience with the owner. I’ve gotten many piercings done by her and thought of her as professional and personal. I went to get my septum piercing with her however shedidn’t pierce it correctly. Which caused it to get infected. I decided to return to bring it to her attention, and she took me to her piercing room, where she began to squeeze my cartilage. I could barely talk with both of her fingers up my nostrils. I was in anguishing pain. She didnt believe there was anything wrong with it and told me she would be happy to pay the next piercer but would not give me the refund directly. When I went to a different piercer to get it cleaned up and repierced, she did not pay. What a decline in service. I haven’t returned sinceUpdate: LOL at the owners response. She cannot take accountability for her actions. Please read her many other responses, such as she left on this one, for a good laugh.

Piercer lady was nice but when she pierced my nose and was putting the jewelry in she took it out and said she had to pierce it again because it closed on her and then put the needle back in, in the same spot which was painful since it was really tender and she had just pierced it seconds before. Also jewelry is over priced and a nose hoop I bought turned green in the matter of two weeks probably even less. A friend of mine who went with me and got a nose piercing as well ended up getting a bump on her piercing and the jewelry made her piercing irritated.

I got my septum pierced today and the place very clean and followed all the COVID regulations and everything was very sanitized. Maria was very sweet and made me feel comfortable while getting my piercing. I also like the variety of all the jewelry they have. Overall I highly recommend.

Definitely recommend. My daughter got her nose pierced on Saturday by the owner of the shop (didnt catch her name) but she did an amazing job. Super friendly and informative. I had my nose pierced by Maria and it was a 10/10. She was very concerned about the placement and made sure to check that I approved. The actual piercing process was super fast and efficient. I had issues with my nose piercing twice (it just fell off and I couldnt put it back in) after getting it pierced and both times she helped me put my ring back. Shes super responsive on the Google chat and even followed up with me on my piercing swelling!

Pro tip!!! This location is INSIDE the Swapmart building. There isn’t a sign from the outside and the numbers are a little hard to see. Next to the Discovery.This was by far the easiest and best piercing experience I have had (and I’ve had a few). I was new to the area and went in for a nose piercing that I’ve been wanting for over a decade, but never felt comfortable because of my job. With the work from home orders, there was no better time! Everyone was extremely friendly and profession, and Maria (piercer) took the time to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. It’s a no-frills operation, but I couldn’t recommend enough.

This was my first time getting my ears pierced. I decided to get a helix and a flat. I was nervous, but Maria was sweet and professional. She explained the whole process and was quick when she pierced my ear. Overall, I would recommend them and I can’t wait to go back for another appointment.

We were lucky to stumble across Angels body jewelry. I have had the piercings that we came in for on several other accounts. Always took them out for work or whatnot.That being said. The piercing process itself was fine, they were clean and polite. The main problem came after the piercing was done. I just recently found out when trying to change to a ring that the it was pierced at the wrong angle and I had to get it professionally switched out due to bleeding when I tried myself. Wish I would’ve known before it healed :(

Maria is so helpful and sweet! I got my nose pierced, and since I had to take my mask off for that I was grateful to see all the precautions they have in place. Maria explained the process, made sure to open everything in front of me, and explained aftercare. If I decide to get more piercings, Ill be back!

The piercing was great no pain and they are sweet!. I paid $60 extra for a titanium jewelry and ended up having to go to another shop to get it remove and cured. They told me that was not what I had paid for (titanium), had to remove my daith piercing since the tissue in my ear kept growing to the point an earbud could not fit, causing me pain and even fever. I do recommend going for other piercings, my flat piercing has been great as well as my friends piercing! They offer a free one time treatment which they do what they can to help.

Came on a Saturday afternoon for affordable piercings, the woman who pierced me (helix) and my friend (nostril) was amazing and super knowledgeable. My friend felt woozy after her piercing and the piercer took really great professional care of her. Would recommend to anyone.

This place is WONDERFUL!! I called about getting a dermal removed, and was given a price range right away, and a day to come in. When I came to get it removed, Maria talked me through the entire process as she was removing my dermal. I was numbed as well to reduce any discomfort. The shop is also very hygienic and clean. Mike behind the register was very personable and I was so happy to hear that they also speak Spanish in the shop as well! 🇵🇷 Will definitely come back!

Highly recommend Angels Body Piercing! Maria, who seems to be a magician of some sort, pierced my nose. I felt a tiny pinch and a second later she said thats it. I thought she was kidding, but she wasnt. She held up a mirror to show me my new -- and first -- piercing. It was like a magic trick. Maria was fast where she needed to be, but just as important she took the time to explain everything in detail, answered my questions, never made me feel rushed or pressured, and was an utter delight to talk to. Well this is not to bash Maria she was really nice but I don’t feel her service was worth the price I paid about $150 for the double nose piercing as well as the healing spray.I don’t really like it, its kinda ugly. the jewelry is very dull Nd overpriced and I feel like the one closer to the tip of my nose isn’t in right. She told me give it time and it would go in but it’s been about two and a half weeks and it still doesn’t lay flat as if she put it in on an angle idk overall I am just disappointed with the look. the jewelry is cheap but she charged 50+ for each one Nd one of the piercings isn’t in right

The crew at angels is phenomenal everyone is really nice and professional. Me, my sister and my cousin went in for nose piercings and a belly ring we were all terrified and Maria was very professional and made the experience less terrible for me. I highly recommend angels.

I recently went to get a nose piercing done… my main concern for getting it removed and redone, it’s done at the wrong angle. Not only does the piercing not sit flat but also can increase the risk of infection. I was under the influence that they would be open at 12 pm the time I arrived because that’s when the shop said they are open.. around 12:15 the shop opened and at 12:20. Maria looked at my piercing and told me it was fine. Then proceeded to ignore me talking on the phone when I was expressing my concerns and said that I didn’t like having a nose piercing (something that i never said) and that can’t make up my mind. Yikes! She decided to give me a refund immediately (a no refund shop) in an aggressive manner when handing my cash and tip ( I didn’t ask ) after I said that nose piercings are supposed 90°(level with the floor) ( attached is a photo of the angle it is pierced at compared to what it should be). Also look how far it’s sticking out, not flush to my nose .Obviously because they knew they did it wrong and instead of apologizing and admitting the mistake they had no integrity and was defensive. When I got home the shop personally started texting me via their text line in a disgusting manner about a review I didn’t make or know about. Blaming me saying I pick the wrong spot, saying if it was done wrong it would be sticking out… like the stud was .When in the shop I said my piercing apprentice friend DIDNT influence my decision to remove it but I’m deciding to take their advice. Unlike Maria I was wearing a mask so she could have miss heard but continued to constantly attack me twisting those words even in the reply to the review and text … I was planning on keeping the piercing until not only my friend but an APP certified piercer made me aware of the problems that can occur from such an angle which also made it look higher , stating a very large hoop would be needed. Maria was well aware a hoop was my desired styled but still wanted a place a stud looks nice.. I first asked for HER opinion of the best spot. She said would look best for my nose I asked for a spot a little lower.. when she marked it was very uncomfortably close to the side and bottom of my nose I agreed on the spot she first said. YOU WOULD ALSO AGREE TO THE SPOT THEY SAY WOULD BEST FIT YOUR STYLE AND NOSE. Showing my friend on a 5 second call .Also lying and gaslighting in there reply to the review . In text they said they will charge me for the supply’s for a re-pierced and then when I arrived they simply gave me my money without the offering of a repierce also proceeded to text me I am “completely wrong” saying that the 90 DEGREES is depth not angle (only angles can be measured in degrees sorry to break that on to you)

The piercing itself went alright l but I feel that some of the advice I had been given was subpar compared to almost everything I found online. I also am completely unable to remove my lobe piercing myself. After research, this can either be due to low quality jewelry or the piercer incorrectly tightening the backing. When I got my piercing done, the piercer accidentally put the wrong jewelry in at first and then immediately had to change it. I wonder if this contributed to the jewelry being stuck. I would have been better off going to a tattoo shop that does piercings. I believe tattoo shops to be much more knowledgeable about body modification in general.

Got my snake eye done on Sunday and while I know it was going to be an extremely painful piercing Maria made it bearable. I’ve been wanting this piercing for a few years and while I’ve always come to angels body jewelry Maria wasn’t doing it back then.
