Cherry Bomb Tattoo and piercing

Tim was very helpful and understanding in helping me with my ideas for a memorial tattoo for my son. He led me through the process and answered my questions patiently and thoroughly. I love my first tattoo and if I get another one, I will go back to Tim at Cherry Bomb.

Never had a piercing done, but the guy was super professional and nice, and explained everything perfectly. I knocked the piercing out the first night I had it, and he managed to see me the very next day to reopen the hole and get it back in free of charge. Not to mention the piercings themselves look great! Im def going back if I ever want to get another piercing or a tattoo

Got my first tattoo from here and Tim did an amazing job with it! He made sure I liked the design on my wrist before inking. He also explained the aftercare to me and provided me with what I needed to clean it. Will definitely be coming here for my next tat and future piercings! :)

Offers bubble gum machine flash tats. Too busy. Literally no one was in the studio. Dont offer walk in flash tats if youre too busy to do them. No one is going to schedule a SPONTANEOUS tattoo. Disappointing.

Tim does all of my work, he is nothing short of amazing. He is honest with his work, its a very calm and clean environment, and his work is very detailed.They are the absolute best. I recommend them to everyone I know.

Love the place it was exciting. Eddie Yearly was the bomb doing tattoos if you want done go there and ask for him. The pic was the beginning and the last pic was the ending of it.

I got my tattoo with eddie today. I got it to remember by grandfather that passed away back right before Thanksgiving. He did a beautiful job and i plan on going back for another tattoo soon would highly recommend this place.

Cherry Bomb is the only place that I trust to do my piercings. Theyve always done a great job. I had my nipples re pierced this time. They took the time to measure properly to make sure that the piercings were even with each other. Their workspace is always clean & sanitized. It always feels like home when I go there , even if its been a couple years between visits. Tim & Ed always make you feel welcomed. I would never go anywhere else. ♥️✌

Went here to get a tattoo on short notice. They gladly helped me and Eddie was very professional and clean. He does great work and Im happy with my piece. Thanks Eddie youre the best! Will be coming back her to receive any future pieces. Definitely recommend this place!

My girlfriend got this tattoo here by Eddie and honestly the picture is enough to explain the bad review. We went in just to make an appointment for a consult thinking it would only take 5 minutes to make the appointment. Ended up being there over an hour after he wanted to see it and just watching Eddie trace over the picture of exactly what she wanted and just wouldn’t say anything. My girlfriend mentioned that she didn’t think it would take all that long and Eddie proceeded to say “you’ve been watching too many TV shows” i found that to be pretty disrespectful to say to a customer. The day of the tattoo we were told to be there at 12:30 and Eddie didn’t start tattooing until 1:30 or so. My girlfriend has a full sleeve and knows what the pain of tattooing can be. She explained to me that it felt like he was carving her skin with a knife when he started shading. I mean just look at this line work in this tattoo. ridiculous. Eddie told us before that it would be an easy tattoo no problem and it turned out like this. If i was a tattoo artist i could never let someone walk out the door like that. Terrible experience and I would not recommend Eddie to anyone. The other artist that was in there seemed very nice and may do excellent work, but Eddie is a no. He said it would be easy and look at it. Crazy. 0/10 horrible experience.Update: We we’re given a call and offered a full refund by the owner of the shop which was very nice and we appreciate that.

I have had most of my tattoo work done by Eddie Yeary. Im never disappointed with ANY of his work. He is very talented and truly is an awesome artist. He is so creative on putting my ideas into a beautiful work of art that Im always proud to wear. I have an appointment already set up for January to get my next peice. Most of my appointments are several sessions. I never have any problems getting time set up for the next. I highly recommend his work and the professionalism of Cherry Bomb Tattoo. He is my tattoo artist for life or until I run out of skin!

Great place. Was really nice over the phone to help me. Doesn’t do piercings even though it pops up under google that they do. Great customer service the person on the phone gave me some advice and pointed me in the right direction so i cold get what i needed.

Eddie and his shop is and always have been nothing but the best, from 220, downtown, rocky Mount, prior Vinton shop etc...you get the idea. A+ on everything from professionalism, cleanliness and art. I went in yesterday and showed them what I wanted to cover a old and not very good tattoo, and to my shock they was able to do my cover up and made the tattoo BETTER then what I took in there!!! I love my tattoo it is truly beautiful. I will for sure be back for more and will recommend this shop. The artist is very talented and dose great work!!!!

Recently got my cartilage pierced by the coolest dude ever, super nice and talked me through the entire thing! I didn’t catch his name but it was clear to me he knew what he was doing and made me feel super secure with the whole thing. He helped me troubleshoot what went wrong with a rejected piercing I got done a while ago ago and I feel really good about this new one.

This happened almost 3 years ago but the experience will always stick with me. I brought in a design I had drawn up that morning that was mainly line work. I show the owner who was behind the counter and he tells me he “hates when people get their ideas from Pinterest”. Then I’m introduced to the artist who says the exact same thing to me. He tells me I have to upscale the design because “line work that fine point is impossible and photoshopped if you see it in pictures”. Throughout the whole process I felt belittled and insulted and in the end I was left with a tattoo that although simple in design, was poorly executed, having slanted & uneven lines.

Very personable & professional gentlemen. Provided helpful Information to my daughter allowing her to make an informed decision.Facility super clean & tastefully arranged.Took time to ensure satisfaction of selection & placement, explaining the procedure, & having a great sense of humor.Positive experience from start to end.Will continue to choose this shop over others.Thank you.

This place was absolutely the bomb. My nose piercing fell out and I called cherry bomb and he fixed it for me. Such nice people. Highly recommend them .

The guy said hed work on a custom piece for my wife. He drew it up. We looked at it. We said wed think about it and later that day we found the same piece online. Wouldnt give them a star but it wasnt an option.

Tim is someone who is truly passionate about what he does. I came in with a piercing that was nearly rejecting due to it being pierced incorrectly by another piercer. Tim was nice enough to take it out free of charge and give me tips on how to heal it and reduce the scarring. Months later, he pierced it again and has been answering any and all questions I have had since then. Hes very knowledgeable and diligent and cares about doing things the right way, which is hard to find!
