Revelation Ink Tattoo and Piercing

Went in today to get my nose pierced and get an industrial bar put back in after the holes closed to a normal size. The shop was clean and incredibly welcoming! The piercer made sure I was comfortable and went at my speed when putting my industrial bar back in making sure I was as comfortable as I could be during a stretch of my cartridge. I’ll only come here for piercings moving forward and recommend to anyone!

I recently retired and decided to reward myself I’ve always wanted my nose pierced and why not now! I stumbled onto Revelation Ink Tattoo and Piercings and immediately felt that the spirit sent me here…Anne took very good care of me, I love my piercing and look forward to possibly getting another tattoo at this shop! Everyone was so warm and welcoming! ✌🏼💜

My nose piercing came out. Did a google search and this wonderful place popped up! Went to get it put back in & had an awesome experience. 10/10 EXCELLENT place to go to! Everyone was super awesome! I will definitely go back for my piercings & tattoos!!!

We went in to have a tattoo for my husband. Aaron did his tattoo. He was very good at it. He explained how to care for it in detail. The tattoo parlor surprised me on how clean this place was. They also sell piercings. We highly recommend 👌

Today my heart has felt such a happiness. My granddaughter was still born in 2021 and I’ve been wanting a tattoo of her . Today Rafael …. Made my dream come true. The shop was so clean and Rafael is a really handsome and clean man. His work is superb. I am so amazed at the detailed skills he preformed. It’s hard to find a shop that does portrait tats , but Rafael nailed it. I am so truly grateful for his kindness and compassion.Thank you so much Rafael.

Finally got my first tattoo and after much research and staring at art work for hours on end I decided that Revelation Ink seemed like the perfect place to go. I am SO glad I chose them because I am absolutely OBSESSED with my tattoo and couldn’t have found a better artist to honor my childhood family memories and bring them to life. So welcoming and comfortable! Got my first ever face piercing today and I kind of sort of passed out and got sick..embarrassing..but they were so very accommodating and reassuring. Definitely recommend!! Thank you so much!

Came here with 2 infected lobe piercings and a really agitated helix one. the piercer was so informative, knowledgeable, and kind. she gave me advice and new jewelry. highly recommend!!!

Took my daughter here to get her ears pierced after reading, other positive kid friendly reviews. Bella was very accommodating to my daughter who was nervous and got out of the chair about three times before she got up the courage to get it done. Bella took her time and made sure the marks for the holes were lined up perfectly, very nice job! You do need your child’s birth certificate or passport “ they told us prior to our arrival “, they are CASH only, fyi. This was a pleasant experience and I would recommend them.

So clean, such wonderful staff and incredible line work. So happy to have a local shop to support. They make you feel like family and truly are passionate about their work.

Love this lil spot. Jason did an amazing job renovating the place. Very clean and a comfortable, chill environment. Drew is AWESOME! I highly recommend him if you need any piercings. He did six piercings to one of my ears in one visit. He was extremely gentle and very precise. I will never go to anyone else! Love this place. Looking forward to getting my other ear done and some other things and excited to see what Jason can do to revive my ladybug tattoo. These boys are both hella talented!

Everything about this shop is amazing. I got a small side piece done this week here with Rafael. He did amazing work, and he was very patient with me. They really listen to you, make sure youre getting what you want, and the owner made sure to check up on me even though he didnt do the art work. Definitely will be back

Jason and his team were phenomenal. This was my first tattoo, and I got to bring my own design to Jason, who collaborated his insights and ideas with me for the best result possible. He, and his team went out of their way to make my experience very positive - great conversations, kept me hydrated, and even let me listen to my favorite music while Jason worked. YOLO .. I tell you, most times Ive gone into a shop I walk out because of an attitude that you need them more than they need you! ... Not this shop! This shop is one of those special, personal experiences. Everyone was exceptionally nice, understanding, had ideas, were really trying to get into your head and feel what you want. Tattoos are forever and this shop, from its owner on down, want to ensure the shop has a very positive vibe. With the exception of one other place with the same vibe this place is easily 5 stars ... excellent shop!!

It was my first time getting my nose pierced and my friend found this shop and said it was rated 5 stars so we went to go check it out. I immediately fell in love with this place. It had the look of a cozy home with a doctor’s office but in a comforting way. I felt immediately comfortable being there. The woman who did the piercing, Bella, was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable, professional, kind, answered all of my questions, and walked me through the whole process so I was aware of what would happen next. And even when I had some more questions later that evening, she gave me her business card so I messaged her and she replied right away and answered my questions without any issue and put me at ease. Definitely 5/5 stars and I highly recommend her and this shop for whatever piercing/tattoo needs you have. Definitely worth it 😊

Got my two daughters first ear piercings here, absolutely a 5 star experience. Bella was excellent with both of them, explaining each step and making it such an easy process, especially for one who gets a bit anxious. Extremely clean store, very hygienic. Lots of information regarding aftercare. Would highly recommend!

I have had three piercings done here they all healed great and I went in and had some of the jewelry changed which was great. However the rook piercing turned out to be uncomfortable so I went to get it swapped back to my old jewelry and the peircer was out for her birthday! I asked if they could help me swap it out so Aaron and Rafael helped me change my piercing totally above and beyond they were fantastic!! It took a minute but between the three of us we got it swapped out. I will be going back for another piercing and will definitely recommend them to others! The shop is super clean and has a very comfortable environment top notch in my book.

Jason was so nice and did a wonderful job. We sent him our inspiration photos and what he drew out was so much better then the photos we sent him. He is very talented and put so much time and detail into our tattoos, they were not rushed at all. I got my first tattoo somewhere else and the person who did it messed up one of the lines, which Jason was nice enough to offer to fix it for me during my service. Fantastic experience! Jasons studio has a very welcoming vibe, and he works very hard to make you feel at ease. He always kept a good conversation going, to keep my mind off of the needle, and was still very focused on his work, intent to do a good job. Hes always accessible if you need a touch up, because he wants you to get the best experience possible. My friend got her first tattoo with him, before I went, and he was asking me how it healed and wanted to make sure it was all okay. I definitely plan on going back to him if I want anything else done.

Rafael is an excellent tattoo artist and has completed my right arm sleeve and now working on my left arm. I highly recommend him! The shop has a relaxed atmosphere and owner and everyone that works there are very friendly. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

GO HERE AND NO WHERE ELSE!! Jason is amazing - my sisters and I all got tattoos (it was the first tattoo for both of them) and Jason was very thorough. He reassured them in all their questions, explained everything clearly, and was so much fun to talk with. He really made sure that the design was exactly what we wanted and checked back with us many times before he started to make sure he had it all correct. We all got home and raved about our time with our parents - of all the tattoo places I’ve been, this was BY FAR the cleanest, most upscale, and kindest place I’ve ever been. This is the kinda place you could take your grandma and she’d be comfortable. Seriously.We were originally going to go to Rock n Roll but they were trying to charge us $80 each for a super simple design; Jason at Revelation was shocked when we told him they were trying to charge us that. Ours were house minimum without him having to even see the design - when we described it, he said he’d do it for $50 with no hesitation.Also, we went and got a piercing done at Eternal Ink across the street and they gave us the vibe they were annoyed by our presence, charged us $50 for lobe piercings ($30 at Revelation), and spoke through instructions for care WAY too fast. We were clearly just another customer to them. Super thankful we left and went across the street to Revelation. I seriously could write like 5 more paragraphs about how awesome our time was there - don’t even consider going anywhere else!!

Me and my boyfriend got our lip pierced here. The girl was very professional. Told us what she was going to do step by step, marked the spot and showed us asking if it was ok. Told us everything to expect, care instructions, and gave us a card with her info on it just in Case we had any questions after. She washed her hands and had all utensils cleaned. Very nice personality as well. My boyfriend went to a place right around the corner from here 2 years ago for the same piercing. They didnt ask if he liked the spot he chose for the piercing, never saw him wash his hands, and wasnt all that friendly or informative, nor did he tell him at all what he was doing and when your getting a piercing its nice to have that done. Told him to clean it with their product and that was it. His lip stole for days, and he had a lot of issues with it for weeks. Its been 4 days now since we got ours pierced here now and no swelling, crusts, or any issues at all. I definitely recommend this place for piercings at least

I currently live in Chapel Hill but I make the trip to Revelation to get all of my piercings done by Bella. Shes pierced both of my nostrils, navel, and nipples and has done lobes for my best friend. She is professional, friendly, and makes the space super comfortable. All of my piercings have healed perfectly from her and I refuse to get piercings done by anyone else. Thank you Bella!!

I went here for my second tattoo. Jason was amazing, he did exactly what we wanted and was so helpful. I would totally recommend him for any tattoo you want. There isn’t enough good things to say about Jason. He is very thorough. Very clean. I went in last night for my first tattoo. He was so helpful. Gave me things to think about as far as what and where I wanted it. He was great about explaining everything. I will definitely go back for more tattoos in the future! Thank you again Jason!!

Working with Jason was awesome. He worked with me on the design and answered questions/offered advice for over a week before we even scheduled the appointment. His work with the design was incredible and my tattoo came out far better than I ever expected to envisioned. During my actual tattoo session, he made sure I was comfortable and did his best to minimize pain throughout the session. I would recommend Revelation Ink to anyone looking for tattooing services in the Wake Forest/Raleigh area.

Jason was a true professional. Really knows his stuff. This was my fourth tattoo and by far was my best experience. I’ve had other tattoos done at well known Raleigh shops and Jason, hands down, was the most knowledgeable. The shop itself was immaculate and very comfortable. UPDATE:After my appointment yesterday with Jason, I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I’ve been to several tattoo shops in my time and none compare to the environment and care at Revelation Ink. Both Jason and Kelsey (only saw Drew in passing) make the experience fun and enjoyable. Highly highly recommend, whether it’s your first or fifth time.——————————This may be a bit premature but I have been talking with Jason and he has been incredibly attentive and responsive as we plan my tattoos! I have heard nothing but things about him and I’m excited to work with him!

I am so glad I choose Revelation Ink! Jason runs a top notch tattoo shop that is extremely clean and professional. He has good morals and is awesome with the ink! The fact that he posts that he is a Christian also made me feel welcome. The staff there is down to earth and will talk to you regarding any work you need done. My tattoo turned out great! Ive never been anything but happy with my piercings from this place. I was recommended here by my friend who has gotten multiple piercings from them and had nothing but high praise. So far, Ive been to them to get my nostrils, septum, and navel pierced. The piercing process is fast, informative, reassuring, and fun! They make sure youre updated throughout the entire process and tell you exactly how to clean and care for it afterwards. The pricing is very reasonable (and on the lower end!). I was referred by a family friend and I’m so happy I took the time to meet Jason.He is a genuine and professional tattoo artist, the atmosphere in his shop is absolutely top knotch and his personable demeanor is second only to his creativity. I gave him a symbol from a favorite game of mine and told him to do what he think would look best with the color. When all was said and done he blew what I was expecting out of the water and I refer everyone I know who is seeking an artist to him.

I don’t have the right words to describe Jason’s work. I got a full color tattoo for the first time over a month ago. It still looks brand spanking new. The best part? I hardly felt any pain. People warned me that a colored tattoo would be the worst pain. I felt NOTHING but like a tickling sensation. Jason knows what he’s doing. He’s worth the money for a tattoo.His studio is clean, it’s organized, he will let you listen or watch whatever you want (I didn’t choose anything ha ha), and he shows you the drawing of your tattoo beforehand. He’ll flat out ask for your opinion during the session and before any certain colors need to be made. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on my tattoo, and I always tell people who did it: Revelation Ink- Jason.

Great conversation even when youre there for hours - I should know - hes done a half sleeve on my leg and a huge shoulder piece/half sleeve on my arm as well as smaller tattoos. So I want to start off by saying that I was nervous to get this tattoo done. I have a low pain tolerance and knew it was gonna hurt. But I was so wrong! The tattoo artist, Jason, is the most light handed tattoo artist Ive ever met! The tattoo didnt hurt at all and I was so happy and pleased on how it turned out! I recommend this shop to anyone who wants a tattoo. They are so nice and makes you feel right at home. And the tattoo artist (in my opinion) is one of the best tattoo artist there is!

I went here almost a week ago to get my nose pierced after leaving a tattoo parlor where i wasn’t talked to for 20 minutes. this was the best decision i made. i walked into the building and immediately my jaw dropped. it is a very nice place and they were very on top of making sure everyone was safe. i had a great conversation with jason and drew. amazing guys! i am definitely coming back for future tattoos and piercings. would 10/10 recommend them to everyone!!

First, let me start by saying Jason does incredible work, but you can read his other reviews and see that is the common theme. What I want to point out is how thoughtful, patient and caring Jason is with his art and his clients. It is very evident that he is not interested in tattooing anything on anyone for money. He cares about the health of the client, the quality of the tattoo, how well it will look, how long it will last, etc. His professionalism is top notch, and is pretty rare in this industry. Will definitely be returning for future work.

Jason does amazing work. He is very easy going, nice to talk with and just makes you feel extremely comfortable in every way. The shop is very clean and well maintained as well. I am a 10 year breast cancer survivor and my scars are a constant reminder of that time in my life and its not that I dont want to remember but I wanted to close that chapter and we are working on making those scars beautiful. Jason totally got how important that was to me and worked with me to get what I wanted so that I can feel good about myself again. So far I could not be happier. The design he has worked out for me is simply gorgeous and I cant wait to get it finished. Jason has been my artist for over 6 years. He has done a Elvis Presley sleeve on me that has been in the papers and I have even won awards. He is very good at giving great advice when you are working towards a sleeve. He is fun, comforting, CLEAN , light handed, creative, and VERY professional! My review is long overdue, mainly because I don’t do reviews but also because I wanted to see where my tattoo journey would take me. I have several tattoos that have been done at several different places. Revelation Ink was a game changer for me. My tattoo is having to be done in multiple sessions because it is by far my biggest tattoo yet.I had a tattoo vision of what I wanted but sometimes those visions have to be changed or tweaked to make the vision come to life. Jason is a truly gifted artist and is doing just that. We have had to make some minor adjustments, but he has this awesome gift of knowing how and where to place your ideas and visions and does it with such grace.I am just blown away at how professional, honest, humble and amazing Jason has been throughout this crazy tattoo journey of mine. He will tell you straight up if the tattoo and placing you want will not work well for you and offer alternatives. How many people in this industry would do that? Not any that I have met. He could easily put the tattoo you want where you want it and take your money. It’s just not in him to do that. I am a little prejudice as Jason is my son-in-law. I have been amazed with his artistic ability since I saw his first tattoo many years ago. He did my first tattoo for my 60th birthday. His talent is wicked awesome and his standards in tattooing are extremely high. I do not think you can find his talent and insight for tattooing anywhere else in the area. Please go by to see him about your next tattoo; you will not be disappointed at all.

Great work. This guy knows what he is doing and he is VERY HONEST unlike other tattoo shops that just do whatever you say or make you do other things to your tattoo to get more money out of you. He educates you as he goes and he cares about his clients. He will NOT tattoo unless you are ready and he helped me out with ideas but he never pushed his ideas on me. I felt we were a team when it came to creating the tattoo. I will always come here for this reason. Also, his music selection is great. He will play whatever you want by request but he had some hip Christian music playing and I truly enjoyed it!

What an awesome experience getting pierced at Revelation Ink today! The building was so clean, smelled amazing, and clearly they had taken such special care to make sure the environment was safe & well cleaned for covid-19.
