John was great! Got my trangus pierced and my sister got her nose pierced. Very gentle and laid back, and reassuring !

Really nice and professional people, came in around 30 minutes before their piercer left. Unfortunately my piercing is crooked and done at a really low angle to where I can see the bottom of the bar in my nose (I had asked it to match my other nostril) so I’ll probably go somewhere else （not Elite Ink, since I already left the state) to see if I can get it fixed.

I worked with Ray. Hes a cool dude and a great artist. The same week I had the money, I was booked for my knuckles. I got everything I wanted and more, his design was flawless. Sya was a blast getting to know as well, hope you find out who Banksy really is! Ray took the time to measure and fit every letter and put together an ink bottle and quill to fit the design. I was fairly charged for his art and time. The room was spotless. He kept conversation when there was to be had and was very open and friendly. He did my knuckles in about two and a half hours, including draw time. I called several shops in the area, Ray got my business because he consulted with me, got the designs aim right away and knew what I wanted without me saying much. Ill be coming back for more time with Ray when I have the money to do what I have planned. Keep up the great work guys, youve got my business for as long as youre in business. Maybe the next ones I can have him put his sketchwork to work, as there were several designs on his wall I really appreciated.

I have merely 40 tattoos.... I live in Lansing and I drove an hour and twenty minutes one way. Lisa Hurt is a very professional and Elite tattooist. Very light handed with great fine lines. Not only is she very professional, she is very friendly and likes to have good conversations while she works. I could have went anywhere. I chose elite. Because they professional, very clean shop, and Lisa Hurt is emaculant at what she does. You will not be disappointed at all. I highly recommend if you are getting any ink or piercing to go here.

My friend and I called last night and were able to get an appointment, we both got our noses done by Lisa (so sorry if that’s incorrect) and she was amazing! She took care of me when I almost passed out, and we both are in love with the piercings we got 💕

Let me start off by saying, do not go to this shop for a tattoo! Maybe their main shop is better, or maybe they are good at piercings, I dont know.I was very excited to get my first tattoo, talking to many people on where to go, and in general gathering advice. Some consistent advice I got was, not to worry about price and look for a place that is clean. After going to 4 tattoo shops in the area, and talking to the people there about time and cost to do the tattoo I wanted, I settled on Elite because they were clean and told me that the tattoo would take a very long time to do (almost double in cost everyone else too) and that they had just the artist who loved doing dot work tattoos. I mistook that for meaning that their artist would be very precise and more experienced than anyone else, resulting in a better product. I was sorely mistaken. The process took less than half the time he quoted and charged me for, and the tattoo turned out to be a black blob of what I wanted, rather than the piece of art I was expecting. I definitely wont be going back, or recommending them to friends. Below is what I showed the artist, and then what I got. I wasnt expecting an exact copy by any means, but there was no attempt at detail at all, and dont even get me started about the sad excuse for stars above the bear (the 7 dots).I know that this post may have a negative impact on their business, and for that I am sorry, but I feel that I have to put this information out there and let the costumers decide to listen to my advice or not.

Got pierced and it seemed too tight, but piercer said was it okay. Spoiler, it was not okay. The peircer squeezed the jewelry so tight, it was pinching my skin and formed abscess. I had to go to the urgent care. It was that bad. The jewelry is absolutely poor quality too. They also pierced ear with a butterfly backing instead of a flatback. Enough said. Go somewhere else for piercings. Do not reccomend.

I had my first tattoo done by Ray at the Mound location last Friday. Everyone in the shop was very friendly, welcoming, and calming (I was a little nervous). I walked in showed them what I wanted and they were able to quote me a very reasonable price. It was significantly lower than I was anticipating on spending.The shop is very clean and recently remodeled displaying local art. All the tools were clean or brand new in sealed packages. Ray used gloves and everything about the shop made me feel safe.I came in with a very specific design in mind, therefore Ray was unable to use his artistic skills. However, I did see some of his hand sketches, which were very impressive, and he has an art school background. He was friendly and carried on conversation that kept my mind off the uncomfortableness of the physical tattooing process.Overall, I am very pleased with my tattoo. It is exactly what I wanted and I had a great experience with the guys in the shop.

It was my first time going to elite ink and from the moment I walked, the receptionist, her name was taylor, I believe, was very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Ray, who did my tattoo, was one of the nicest guys ever. He was professional and easy going. He did a wonderful job and can’t wait to go back. If I could give them a hundred stars….I would.

Absolutely love most of the workers. Ashely had great line work and and all around amazing person. John is the only person I will let pierce anything on my body they are the best people I’ve ran into at a tattoo shop. I only don’t like one person there cause she has an attitude every time I’m there and she’s there. But I love that tattoo shop very reasonable prices.10000/10 would recommend going there and get Ashley for tattoos orhan and John for tattoos❤️❤️❤️

John did my friend and I’s piercing today, he was such a nice guy and we felt very comfortable with him piercing us! Definitely recommend this place for any piercing or tattoo!! Us girls had so much fun there.

My entire experience was awesome. From the moment I walked in to the time I left and every step in between was flawless. My friend and I went to get piercings here. It was a great overall experience. The guy was professional and talked us through the whole process (she got her bellybutton, I got my cartilage) and gave us both really reasonable prices. The place and the equipment are clean, the earring he put in was wrapped in a sealed bag, like they do for surgical equipment. Definitely going back for a tattoo.

I got my nose done last december, it was great! i called and made an appointment over the phone and i was able to get in within the hour. i was 17 but able to bring my birth certificate and parent and still get the piercing. the piercer was very calm aswell!

I had an amazing experience here. Bobby G was the one that greeted me and gave me a super good price. Ray was phenomenal. He perfected everything and took his time and I wasn’t in there for very long. My whole experience was pretty great and I appreciate them!

Got my nose pierced here for 35$ and had a great experience. The people were super nice and caring. I came out looking a little pale and the guy behind the counter went and got me a bottle of water and gave me his fruit snacks. Everythings sterile and in packaging before getting pierced. 10/10 would go again.

Went here 3 weeks ago to get a tattoo on my arm. My first impression was great, the guy at the front desk was super friendly. I let them know my price range and the artist said hed have to sketch it up smaller. Which was fine with me. I was told that the rate was $150 per hour, so I paid for 2 full hours. (Which was my said maximum range)Once the artist said that I was done I was confused because all it took was just over 30 minutes (40 tops). Obviously I was expecting it to take longer since I paid for 2 hours so I thought, but it was such a quick and simple tattoo.I asked the artist about the hourly rate and he said he doesnt charge by the hour. I then asked the same guy at the front desk about the hourly charge. I could tell that he was caught off guard by my question. He stumbled a little bit. He responded by telling me that the time that was spent drawing up my tattoo, some how filled in the rest of that gap. His explanation was that I was paying for that too. When in all reality that only took up a few minutes of his time. It wasnt extravagant at all, again the tattoo took 30 minutes! Instead of leaving happy with my new tattoo. I left with regret and feeling taking advantage of.

I was here a week ago and went on a whim after reading reviews. Ive gotten two tattoos before this visit and both at two different shops and I have to say you cant get better than this place. Nadia is a such a great person and treats you like a friend rather than just another person in her chair. Shes very experienced just by looking at her work and takes time to ask questions and makes sure you leave happy. Ill make sure Im a repeat customer. Thanks again girl!

Came in for my first tattoo. Nothing but kind and supportive. The guy at the front desk talked me through the whole thing and made me feel comfortable and welcomed even when I was overthinking it. Jason did my tattoo and he did a BEAUTIFUL job. He was very witty which helped me through the tattoo. Will definitely recommend and be back for any future tattoos. Yesterday, Ray did memorial tattoos for me and my sister in honor of our mother who passed away. The tattoos came out absolutely perfect and we are very happy we chose to go to Ray. I 100% recommend going to see Ray if you want a great tattoo experience and stunning line work!

They are amazing!!!! I went there to get my first tattoo I was beyond nervous and worried about getting it but they made sure i felt very comfortable and at ease through out the whole processes. Nadia is awesome she told me everything she was doing step by step and she is amazingly talented I love my tattoo!!!. When I decide to get my next tattoo I am definitely going back to Elite Ink :).

Called on a Saturday morning and John got me that evening for a quick piece I wanted. In and out in an hour, great work, no touch up needed and hes reasonable as long as you follow the house rules.

So daughter called a head about setting appointment to get her ears done and the guy stated just walk in. After going and walking in the guy stated I don’t have time for you and won’t set a appointment so I’m guessing you don’t want money and or customers anymore thanks for making a young girl feel unwanted. Just to think I was going to get a ton of tattoo work done but I’m good now thanks 🙏

Had a great time. Staff was super professional. Very clean establishment, covid temp checks. Ray went above and beyond what I wanted in my tattoo, a true artist. Will be going here from now on.

I went here 6 weeks ago to get my first tattoo. I wanted a simple outline of a wishbone. The artist ray said it would be no problem it would be $60 and put he the stencil on. The artist finished the tattoo in about 1 minute. Which i was very nervous about because he rushed through it. And when he was done the tattoo was nothing like the original stencil. Some parts of the lines were thin and some were thick. One side of the wishbone was so close together the lines bled together and the other side was very spaced out. I went back to have them look at it and got to talk to the owner. The owner was very rude to me and even tried to argue with me saying my tattoo wasn’t even that bad and had the nerve to say “well that’s what you get when a human being does it.” Well I’m sorry but I feel that every artist should take pride in their work and want to give the customer what they wanted the best they could do. And this definitely wasn’t his best. They wanted to charge me 40 to fix it making my 1 inch tattoo a total of $100. This was some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.My brother also came with me to get a tattoo of an outline and his was completely crooked. He messed up two tattoos in under an hour. Now I’m not sure but that might be a new record. If you want a good tattoo please learn from my experience and do not go to Ray at the warren location. And you should probably just pick a different studio because the owner does not deserve your money. Thank you for listening because I’m looking out for you!

The staff are so friendly, the artist, Ray is amazing. He took my idea and helped me design exactly what I wanted. Of the 7 tattoo experiences in 4 states, this was by far the best.

Friendliest staff ever! Bobby is super friendly and keeps you highly entertained while you wait. Ray inked my ribcage which i always heard was painful....... barely felt a thing. The ink came out great!!! The guys are great im comin back from Texas for my next one!!

Orhan was the very best tattoo artist I’ve ever met! I came in for a nose piercing and my friend Rose is doing her first tattoo. She was completely freaking out and he just calmed her down and did a stellar job! Would recommend to everyone, Orhan is THE MAN!!!!

I went to get an industrial piercing in my ear. These are meant to be horizontal and not vertical and they made it vertical. The place is very clean and efficient and they only complain I would have is the industrial placement. They placement ended up being okay for the most part, the bar was digging into excess skin where it wasnt supposed to because of the placement. And after I got it done I was a little disappointed at first but Ive come to love it greatly. My piercing isnt like anyone elses due to its position and I ended up favoring it greatly. I just wish I could find another bar of the same length they gave me.

I just came in for a tattoo cover up. I spoke to them over the phone and I e-mailed Mitch a picture of the type of tattoo I wanted. They told me to come in so that Mitch (the artist) can determine whether if it could be covered I had a lighting bolt and wanted to cover it with a rose. I came in today and he drew the rose on my arm ( thats when I knew he knew what he was doing) I love it! The rose is very realistic and he took his time to make my tattoo very appealing. Thanks Mitch youre awesome.

Rude staff. I called to question about a belly button piercing and the lady that i talked to was so rude and had a very bad attitude, im never going their again. Good job Elite Ink Tattoos you just lost a customer. Dont waste your money and go somewhere where the staff are actually nice and respectful.

I have been here for 3 piercings and two tattoos. Absolutely amazing job with everything and the workers have always made me feel very welcome!!

This place takes advantage of the young and uninformed who are thinking about getting a tattoo for their first time. They convince them that they need to put down a hefty deposit without telling them that if they change their minds, they will not be reimbursed.

We were a walk in, and they took us right away. Very friendly and the one guy did excellent work on a new tattoo client..

Overpriced and the artist told me that I can come back and get a free touch up because he was not able to go over the same area again. I checked with the front desk guy later and he said no such thing and wanted to charge me $35 I think. I paid $150 for an infinity on my finger of about an inch and a half and I think that was a joke. Wait was horrendous too even though we had an appointment.

Best place for piercings, reputable, clean and friendly. I got my last tattoo here and will be going back for any subsequent ones.
