The Zone Tattoo & Body Piercing

Got some piercings done today and everyone was amazing! Greeted at the door by the artists and had small talk before I was ready to go get pierced. All staff were kind, courteous and sweet. Everything was clean and professional. I will definitely be coming back! 🫶

I was very impressed with the cleanliness and professionalism of the Zone and their staff. Everyone was very friendly and informative and made my experience pleasant. My piercer explained everything to me thoroughly and did an excellent job. I would definitely go there again.

Just got my nose pierced. Amazing quality of service as well as amazing jewelry selection. Brittany the apprentice is an awesome apprentice and Damian is the most skilled piercer I have had yet!

Walked in to get a conch piercing on a Friday night, and Damien couldnt have been nicer! He offered suggestions for jewelry and placement. When it came to the actual piercing, it was one of my smoothest ones yet! Definitely recommend and am ready to go back! The Zone has a large selection of jewelry to choose from as well as price range.

I had a ton of questions that I sent their way on FB messenger and they were very helpful and informative! I was able to find the place easily and get in fairly quickly to get my septum pierced. I got my first piercing here when I was 7 years old. 20 years later, I brought my kid here for his 9th birthday to get his ears done and had 4 more piercings done myself. They are kind and patient and give great advice in a non-pushy way if you listen. Today, Im back for 2 more, and in 6 weeks, Ill be back again. I love our local shops ❤️

I went in for a piercing, I was extremely nervous and kinda scared. Mark walked me through it and his general vibes calmed me down. i brought two friends with me and they were both welcome into the room. Mark was very light hearted and made us all laugh! thank you!

I have gone here for two different piercings. I had my first facial piercing done here (bottom lip) when I was 12. I was so nervous, but it actually went fast and healed amazingly due to the knowledge of aftercare I received. Mark truly is an amazing and kind man. I then went back at 18 for my nose stud. Also an amazing experience! I tried a different shop because I live in a different town now..terrible compared to my experiences with The Zone. I’ll be calling to see about a consultation for a tattoo and see about getting some more piercings here as well! Thank you guys for being amazing. ❤️

The Zone is the only place I will get any body piercings done. I’ve had two piercing sessions here and I have had the best experience. Their extensive knowledge and helpful advice makes The Zone the only place I want to go for piercings! (I do not have tattoos or anything else so I cannot speak on the tattoo artists there, but I bet they are just as knowledgeable and professional!)

I got my second set of nostril piercings and was not expecting the pain levels it came with. It was different than when I got my first set from somewhere else so it really threw me off. Luckily my piercer was super patient with me. I really appreciate him convincing me to finish up and being patient with me sitting there trying to hype myself up. I was told his name is Damian, so if you see this thanks a ton 🤡✌🏻

My experience at the Zone was impeccable! I was a walk in, and Mark was my piercer. I dont have a lot of piercings so I was a little nervous going in alone, but he made it fast and easy! Best experience Ive ever had a any tattoo/piercing shop. I will 100% be returning to the Zone! Thank you so much for everything!

I had never been in the zone before but it was such a GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! I recommend for everyone!! We were instantly greeted by the friendliest person !!! The jewelry was beautiful and the vibe of the place was amazing!! Then Damian has hands down been the best piercer i have ever been to!! He was so friendly and explained everything to me!!! I got all three of my piercings here! I got my nostril, septum and my lip pierced. It’s an amazing place and I cant wait to get back for more piercings! I don’t remember who did my piercings because it was quite a bit ago but they made me very comfortable and joked around with me. Everyone who works there is very nice and professional.

I have a face full of piercings. Was getting my secondary eyebrow piercing and it fell out after only 2 days. Had to quickly put the jewelry back into a fresh piercing since I live too far away to go back. The place is very professional. Friendly Service. Sadly, not too happy about it falling out since all the rest of mine have never done this.

I’ve always had great experiences with my piercings through Mark. He’s been gentle and always handles piercings well. I got my nipples done, expecting serious pain. It took just a few seconds for both of my nipples to be done and felt nothing but a soft pinch. I felt some discomfort, but Mark handled it perfectly. The zone is a very clean, sanitary place to get ANY piercing. Damien is a very great apprentice too! Come to the zone with any piercings you want, and the boys will always treat you how you should. Always follow their tips and rules on cleaning your jewelry, they know best :) I wouldn’t go to anyone else

The zone is AMAZING. I came after hours in desperate need to get a piercing out before my 7:00 am MRI. They stayed and took it out and did not even charge me. Declined all my efforts to pay them. So nice and considerate. I appreciate them and their service so much. They really care about their customers, will 100% go back for every service. The shop is very clean and organized as well.

Damian was phenomenal. He found out exactly what I needed, and didnt pressure or try to up sell me. I got both earlobes pierced, and my wife was shocked that my piercings never hurt at all (her piercings were done with a gun at the mall, and by her cousins at home). Im over 2 weeks out now, and have had zero pain or issues with them. The process was extremely clean and quick. I cant recommend Damian highly enough!

I have got 4 out of my 5 tattoos here done by Devin. I absolutely love his work and how he is with his customers. He does amazing work! I recommend him to everyone!! I now have 2 piercings from this location as well! Still recommend!!!

I got my nipples pierced here right after my birthday and the piercer was AMAZING!! 10/10 would definitely (and already have) recommend this place for piercings! He played music and was very careful in making sure I was comfortable with the process.

I have received nothing but GREAT service at the Zone and Ive taken advantage of the tattoo artists and piercers and I have no bad words. Ive gotten four piercings;no problems there and they have excellent jewelery, and now 2 medium/large tattoos by Scott and hes been patient and has worked with me with my wild schedule and does amazing work.... We took our daughter here to get her ear piercing done when she was 7, way better option than a mall where they use a piercing gun. She didnt cry and they look awesome! So great, my wife got her nose pierced and now that my daughter is 12 she got her ear pierced again in her upper cartilage... They did amazing! 100% recommend!!!

I went in to get a nose ring and check into a tattoo. I discussed and certain tattoo with one of the artist (Cant remember his name) darker skin and hair with gauged ears. He informed me that he only had an hour before his next client and didnt have enough time for the tattoo we discussed which was totally fine. He told me to come back the next day around the same time and we will do it then so thats what i did. I get there the next day and he said there was no way he could do it. I said well you told me to come back that next day around the same time and you would take care of it and all he said was well thats why its better to make an appointment. He was the one who told me to come in at that time the next day so i assumed that was the appointment. So basically he told me thats just too bad without using those words. Very unprofessional if you ask me. Very disappointing because I was looking forward to some new ink! 😕

Got Daith Piercing done years ago from Mark and my 25 years old Migraine Headaches were gone for ever. I went back again last month to change the earrings since the piercing was healed up now Mark was called up on his day off as I drove two hours to the shop from Gardner and wont trust anyone else. they fallow the CDC guidelines take care of the clients does Excellent work, reasonable prices , very Professional Services.

I got my Helix pierced and it didn’t hurt at all! They were super nice and friendly! Very clean environment! 10/10 definitely coming back to get more piercings in the future!

Ive gotten several tattoos by Scott, and got my nose pierced by the owner Mark and im never disappointed. Very clean, and they go over care afterwards very well. I wont get tattooed by anyone else, and will defiantly come back to Mark when I need another piercing. (Great quality jewelry with lots of options!) totally worth the hour I drive everytime I come from Kansas City. Highly recommend!

Ive been getting tattooed by David,Hes grown and become such a great artist so far.You just need to honestly go into the shop and ask for him. Hes always there.The great thing about david is that he takes your idea and throws his own professional thoughts and actually talks to you to make you aware of things like.... this color wouldnt look good here or if he could add some shading to make it look more define.But, if youre really really dead set on something he will give you exactly what you want.I love getting tattooed by him because he works fast and he has a light hand. And if it wasnt for him I wouldnt have such awesome looking tattoos because my ideas were cool... but he made them look so much better.If youre looking for his abilities of him as a tattoo artist he has his own website.But yeah, just go in there with your idea and talk to him and hell talk care of you. Promise.Also the shop is owned by an amazing owner, mark and all of the other tattoo artist and piercers are such friendly and professional people.I highly recommend this shop.

I have gotten 8 piercings done here, mostly by Mark and have never had a problem. I most recently got my nose pierced by Damian and he did a great job.

This establishment could give other tattoo parlors a horrible reputation if you go *here* for your first visit. I walked inside, bell rang, yet no one came out, so I sat for a minute. I paced back & forth, hoping that someone at this point would come out (I heard voices...). I decided to walk past the counter, and seen the few people I heard. I was immediately told, in a rough manner, that they would be right with me. I had a postman come in and drop off a package, and a couple walk in & out, before I too, decided that enough was enough. I have never experienced any type of wait-time, short of a doctors office, such as this business, but at least at the doctors office I am acknowledged (even politely sometimes). This business will never see a dime of my money, and my other tattoo artists are sad to hear about this experience (though always glad to see me, as my pieces tend to be larger, which generates a pretty hefty bill). How does one run a business without saying hello to your customers??

Incredibly overpriced for the piercing quality. Have gotten a couple from this shop and not a single one has been straight. Only good part is the guy that did them was friendly.

I had four tattoo sessions with Devin and plan to have many more. Every time I get a tattoo from him, we have intelligent conversations, have a movie or music in the background, and just have a great time. I highly recommend checking out The Zone for any tattoo ideas you may have.

I love all of the artists there. Ive gotten two pieces by Aurora and a couple others there. Its amazing to see how much shes improved from her earlier work. (: Will be coming back to her for sure!

I went in for an eyebrow and got it done by one of the two gentlemen. It was done so well. Didnt even feel it. Love the piercing. I went in a few days later for my lip to be done and it was awful. The guy was exhausted and had pierced it so poorly. I went in for a vertical labret and he started cleaning my top lip. I should have left then and there because he obviously wadnt fit for work that day. But it got worse. He also pulled out a straight bar for a vertical labret. According to every other piercer ive talked to, that is not the right kind of jewelry. It hurt so much with it in and rubbed against my teeth. The man also pierced it in sections. Instead of one solid push through my lip he pushed it in in three sections. It was the most painful piercing experience ive had by far. I tried getting the jewelry replaced somewhere else and it turns out it was pierced crookes as well. Im now letting it heal and it has this thick scar through my lip. I was hoping to be able to get it redone somewhere else and im worried that it has had too much damage done to it.

Visited the shop to get tattooed by Scott and I couldnt have been more pleased with the cleanliness, his professionalism, and the quality of work done. I will definitely be referring people to The Zone and be back for more!

I have gotten 3 tattoos and 1 piercing done here, and I have never received anything except stellar work. The store is clean. The staff are friendly and professional, and their work is exemplary.

Wanted $70 for an eyebrow piercing. We called and they said they are always prepared. Drove to Warrensburg to be told the piercer wouldnt be there until the next day. We chose to drive even further to Butchs in Blue Springs & got right in for $20 with jewelry.

Great price and professional staff. Took great care of my daughter as she got an industrial piercing in her ear and made sure she had all the info needed to take care of it while it heals.
