The Ink Well Tattoo & Body Piercing

The attention to detail that Emily has is absolutely incredible! I don’t care if I’m living across the country, I would 100% fly back to work with her again. Plus, Tom (the owner) really knows his stuff and has put together a super cool shop. They even have a fridge with some beverages and a small snack section - but, don’t be a noob…bring sobering to hydrate you and keep your belly full :)

Very impressed with my time here! I had Thomas do a coverup on my side and it turned out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! He was excellent to work with, took the time to listen to my ideas/thoughts and worked with me to create the most beautiful piece for me.The shop is also gorgeous and very clean and the atmosphere was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Absolutely solid work from the booking to the artist. Saw Tom yesterday for a pretty big pice took his time made sure things were right took no shortcuts and delivered and absolute masterpiece. Will defiantly be returning for more work. 10/10 recommend

Shae has done 3 tattoos for me so far. Im planning on having Tom finish a forearm for me I got started in another state. These two artists are a couple of the most talented Ive seen! Very happy with their work!

So this is the second touch up from the inkwell tattoo place for us. NO ONE told us that this spot was not going to stick. We paid for them the initial time and then we paid for them again to get touched up bc the original artist moved. The new artist said “if you pay me to do it then I’ll touch up for free” so I PAID AGAIN. Time for a touch up! NOPE they tell me I have to pay 40$ to get it touched up. So I’m upset and ask why would you ever tell someone they can get a free touch up and then tell them they have to pay? And she said “yes I did tell you that I would do a free touch up let me talk to Tom” and he tells her NOPE she has to pay. So by this point I’m very upset and yes I got a little loud on the phone and said “then why the eff would you have me pay again to have it done and say that???” And them tom the owner takes the phone and starts off with yelling “listen Woman!!!!! Those tattoos are never going to stick and we’re not doing it for free I don’t care what was said!!!” And I said “well no one told me it wouldn’t stick and I paid TWICE for it so I could get a free touch up if needed!!” And he continues to SCREAM AND SCREAM at me and I’m yelling “be professional, be professional!!!” So he would stop yelling at me and CLICK he hung up.

My complaint isn’t about the tattoo. The tattoo turned out very good. My complaints about the customer service. The artist showed up 30 minutes late for the appointment and then proceeded to clean his work area and talk to his co workers and other people in the shop for at least the next 45 minutes. I waited over an hour before he even started tattooing. At the end he had me wait until he was done cleaning his station before he’d let me pay and leave. The Tattoo I got was no bigger that a half dollar coin and took at most 30 minutes to do. When the tattoo was done it looked very good and was exactly what I wanted but it shouldn’t take 2 in a half hours to get a tattoo had very little detail and that was the size of an egg!

I just got a piece done by Jaybyrd and he did an amazing job. Did exactly what I wanted and even went far and beyond I would recommend him to anyone who is looking in to getting a tattoo.His lines were crisp and clean and the tattoo I got meant a lot to me and he did a very very good job. J Bird is the man.

Me and the wife came in for the most simple tattoos.. Roman numerals on our wrists. Mine looks like it was done by a very mediocre artist that can’t stay in lines I come back in after a couple months waiting for it to heal better. It’s so bad it’s not even fixable. So I ask to have it moved to a different location and have it a little larger. Then I was told I’d have to pay 150$ to have their screw up fixed because the boss still needs paid. I don’t understand how you can ask me to spend 100$ on a messed up tattoo then charge me another 150$ to fix their mistake. Have it done right the first time at pretty in ink in Williston ND.

Went to get some nose rings and the atmosphere is amazing, great customer service, will definitely be going back for some art work and some piercings!

Love it. Great atmosphere. Very friendly staff Jason Byrd is the best. My first shop getting any professional work done and I wont go anywhere else.

J Byrd did mine and my wifes tattoos and did an amazing job hope he stays for quite some time he has deffinately earned our business back again.

Tom is one of the best! Shae is getting better and better too. Some of their work is truely amazing.

These guys are excellent. The 3 artist they have here are some of the best I have seen to date....definitely the best around.

I have tried to get a hold of this business several times. They do not answer there phone. Wanted to schedule but ended up going elsewhere.

Wasnt asked for ID, no health forms or waivers, and no aftercare instuctions. Found out AFTER that it was an apprentice, and the work is horrible. Having to go elsewhere to have it fixed.
