Said it was crooked and the piercer said stuff like “it’s just the shape of you ears” and blamed anything else possible. Been trying to get a refund but they don’t respond to messages or anything, unprofessional and don’t waste your time here. They also bully anyone who shows up without talking to them first which is impossible because they never respond to messages. You aren’t treated like a customer whatsoever.

Tattoo artists are friendly, easy to get along with and love to joke around at the same time being professional. Their artwork is superb. I would recommend any one of them. I have my tattoos done by Vaughn Wetzel.

Went to smokin ink for my tattoo originally. The artist took 5 breaks within 4 hours, called it quits and sent me home with shaky line work, not even half way finished. Walked straight to moon tattoos. They scheduled an appointment to fix it for me. Completely finished it in 3 hours, I wish I could add pictures. It turned out awesome. 2 years later, no fading and I get compliments on it literally every day at work! Just go to moon tattoo to begin with!

Everyone at the shop was so nice and very professional! When you walked into the shop you could tell the place was well cleaned and everything was very organized. Working with the girls in the shop was the best experience that I have had! I was looking forward to getting a nose piercing for a long time but was weary of it because of nerves and they radiated confidence, put my fears to ease, and made me so happy before, during, and after my piercing! The precision that was used in my piercing to make sure it was exactly what I wanted was refreshing and the process was super quick and made the process so much easier! They also offered an after care sheet and supplies in case I didn’t have it at home which was also very convenient! I would highly recommend working with these ladies and would tell anyone that working with Jenna is one of the best decisions you can make in getting a piercing! She also reached out to me two weeks after to make sure everything was going well and made sure that if I had any questions about the healing process or the piercing itself that I could get them answered! Customer service, cleanliness, and overall experience was definitely a 10/10! Thank you so much and would go again in a heartbeat!

Recommend Moon Tattoos to anyone who wants amazing work with a very comfortable and homey setting. Ive been going to Jeff Moon for all my work for 9 years now and he never disappoints! Jennifer and Vaughn also do wonderful work followed with great conversations and good laughs.

I had gotten my snake bites pierced here 2 weeks ago and I must say that it was my best experience by far! Jenna was my piercer she was amazing and made me feel comfortable and also went over aftercare with me which means a lot! I highly recommend this place and will be going back as soon as I can to get more work done both piercings and ink.

Jenna was amazing! A friend referred me to see her specifically to get my nose pierced again and I was not let down!! She did an excellent job making sure the piercings lined up. If I need another piercing I’m definitely going back to her, she knows what’s up.

I got my nipples pierced by Jenna and she was super nice and comforting. Got them about a month ago and have had no issues or problems. They healed really nicely and the pain was not too bad. If you ever need anything pierced go here.... NOT smokin inc. :)

Just had my nostril pierced by Jenna and she was amazing! The place was very clean (and I’m a germ freak). Jenna was very professional and personal. I was kind of nervous about it as it was my first facial piercing and she was so patient and answered all my questions. Very happy with my first experience there!

It was my first tattoo experience, I was nervous and didnt know what to expect. But I quickly became comfortable since everyone there was so welcoming and helpful. Ive been waiting for about 4 years to get my first tattoo from Ian, Ive always loved his work. I love the studios all natural lighting, the location is prime and the overall experience was wonderful. I cant wait to visit again and plan out my next piece, all of the artist there are amazing and have a passion for the artform that translates into their work. Its an honor to be a new client.

Ian Meyer is one of the most talented artists you will ever find! He is a funny, warm, intelligent, compassionate artist who is a great conversationalist during tattoo sessions. He listened to my ideas for my pieces and then put his own twist on them which truly enhanced the artistic nuances of each piece. I am truly honored and grateful for all the work he did for me! He is a friend I will cherish and hope to work with again in the near future. You also cant go wrong with any of the other extremely talented artists in this shop. They all do amazing work!

Since the first day I stepped foot in this shop I was welcomed Like I was family and treated with such professionalism and kindness. The tattoo I came for was done with such precision and care for it was an important one to me. I have now 5 tattoos from the shop and I’m blown away each time. They are attentive and Knowledgeable. My daughter has had many piercings done now with Jenna!! She is the best around and we love her! My daughter had her constellation piercing done last night and she couldnt be happier and cant wait to go back for more.

I came in looking to have an old tattoo covered.I did some research into different shops, and found a lot of good reviews for this place, and for Ian especially.I’m so glad that I chose Barton Ink!Ian was fantastic! The tattoo took several hours, but the conversations kept the time moving fast.Ian has incredible attention to detail, and we will be coming back for sure!

The ONLY place I will ever go to get ink! Everyone that works there is awesome. Ian rocked my dads tribute tattoo and cleaned up my wolf tattoo from a different shop. Vaughn gave my daughter and I awesome matching tattos. And now I am waiting on my appointment with Jeff to get my mom and dad portrait to which I am positive will be beautiful. Can not say enough great things about Barton Ink!

Got my nose pierced. Jenna was very nice explained everything. The chair table and instruments sanitized. New needle. For me it did not hurt and even after it didnt hurt. Going back for more piercings!

A lot of the bad reviews are due to people who no longer work there and it is sad as this establishment has some of the most talented tattoo artist currently working there from around the area. Ian is a amazing artist with a true talent. Ian agonizes over every detail of the tattoo to make sure it is what you want, how you want it, and where you want it. The level of detail and attention I have in my chest piece is something I have not gotten from other artists in the past. I have sat in a chair for two sleeves, two calves, and an entire back piece and Ian and his shop is by far the best one I have been to in terms far quality, artistry, atmosphere, and price. Be prepared to wait for any one of their artists to open up though since great artist tend to book weeks to months in advance. This shop is no different. You sometimes have to wait and pay for a true artist, and if you are not willing to, you might want to reconsider putting something permanent on your body. Ian, Jeff, Vaughn, and Rachel are all great people that will do right by you and your tattoo

Absolutely great experience. Wonderful team and comfortable environment.Last year, I had gone in set up an appointment with Ian, but on a whim took up another artists offer who happened to have an open chair. It was my fault for being so impulsive and getting work done from an artist I didnt know, but in the end, I wasnt the happiest with how my tattoo came out. So I called to make an appointment to get a touch up recently, and was told that the artist that orignally did my piece no longer worked there, but Ian would be happen to fix me up. Coming into the appointment and talking with Ian about how he was going to clean up my piece put me completely at ease. He apologized profusely about my prior experience at their shop (again, I totally take full blame), and was super easy to talk to. Ian made my tattoo so much cleaner and exactly how it was supposed to be in the first place. He turned it into something that Im proud to show off! Everyone there was welcoming, the atmosphere was light and the comradery between the artists was fun. Already looking forward to working with them for my next piece!

Jenna did a wonderful job on my nose piercing. She was skilled and made the experience comfortable. 10/10 recommend!! Also the shop was super clean.

Hands down my favorite tattoo and piercing parlor. Definitely my go to place for both. Ian and Rachel are some of the greatest people I know. Everyone that works here is very personable and welcoming.

Went in to have my septum pierced a while ago, roughly a month and a half. My piercer was Jen (I love your sense of humor girl, be real and be honest 💜). The piercing itself healed perfectly fine with the followed aftercare instructions. Went in again today and got four more piercings. Two double helix piercings (coupled next to each other), daith, and Medusa. All went well and took less than 30 minutes to do. By far my favorite place for piercings. I absolutely love this shop. I havent heard great things about other piercing shops here in West Bend. And have seen too many horror stories and first hand experiences from friends about other places that do piercings. All 5 of my piercings were reletively painless in my own experience since I have a high pain tolerance. Everyones pain tolerance is different so keep that in mind, especially with getting multiple piercings in one sitting. Overall the shop is clean, well organized, STERAL (cant elaborate on this enough), and a great environment. Ill be going in again soon for more piercings 😊

Ive been getting tattooed by Jeff at Barton Ink. Not only is him and his staff very enjoyable, they make you feel like family, and there talent is over the top. 20/10 would always recommend Barton Ink for your new ink.

11/24/18Went to get tongue pierced. Website says $20 for tongue. Got there and was told $40. I mentioned website and showed lady the $20 pricing(see photos)I asked them to honor it and she said no. Thats old and not updated. She said its our slow season so prices go up. What?!?!?! If its slow you want cheaper prices!!! Well the website was now updated and a pricing subject to change notice!!!This was going to be my new place for tattoos and piercing since I get at least 5 tattoos a year and just moved to West Bend. Not anymore!!

I love love love everyone at barton ink! My tattoo is amazing and so is my nose piercing! They have answered any questions that Ive had and have done touch up work as well. Best tattoo and piercing place!

Got my tongue pierced last week, had no problems and it’s healing beautifully! Loved my piercer and I will be coming back! Also very cheap only costed $30!

Impossible to get a hold of anyone theyre still afraid of covid and dont open the doors to you unless you deposit $100 before even meeting anyone. Terrible business practice. 0/10

This was not my experience but I was with a friend. She waited over an hour and a half and the artist did not show. The other guy gave the excuse that he was doing some personal errand and would be late. This place is extremely unprofessional. Many of the artists buddies hung out and you couldnt tell who worked there from who didnt. They also took smoke breaks out in the open in the front of their building. Personally I would never get tattood here.

Super nice place! I had Jenna do my navel piercing and she was awesome- very laidback and friendly. Definitely would recommend!

Rich was the tattoo artist. Overpriced. Didnt do clean smooth lines. Didnt want to fix things I was unhappy with, of which now I have to go somewhere else to fix it. Took several smoke breaks. My jacket smelled of cigarette smoke just from being on a table in the shop. I absolutely will never go here again or refer anyone to go here.

Very chill and understanding people. I walked in and got my septum gauged higher (obviously with a new ring) in about 5 minutes.

Had my septum, tongue, and first tattoo done here, all separately. Everyone is very kind, informative, and good at what they do. I have yet to have issue with them and will continue to go here in the future. I would recommend them.

They are the worst they did an incomplete tattoo and never let me come in to finish it I would have to be booked 20 days in advance to get incomplete work finished and touched up getting through to some one on the phone is a issue I would not recommend going here if you want work done they have like only one artist in a tattoo shop!! Thats sad.
