Nate is an amazing artist but over the years of tattooing our family he has become more than an artist to us he is part of our family!! We drive from the Alexandria MN area to his shop in Fargo atleast 2 to 3 times a year to see him and get work done and we will continue to go to him for as long as he is tattooing!! Thank you Nate we appreciate you opening early for us and spending the day with the family!!

My friend and i went in, he got his nostril pierced and i got my septum pierced for my 16th birthday. Most painless piercing i’ve ever received. Super easy, super fast, super worth it. My piercer, Carter, was very informative, kind, and helpful. Both my friend and I have quite bad anxiety (he actually threw up the first time he got his nose pierced, years ago at a different place), but both of our piercings went very well!

Great experience from start to finish for my first tattoo. Can’t recommend Jeremy enough he was great to work with and the tattoo came out perfect. Will be back to see Jeremy for another piece soon!

Nate was the artist who did my custom tattoo & I highly recommend him. He took the time time make certain that everything was to my expectations. But best of all was that he was able to move me up in his schedule by about 4 weeks when I told him I had a bodybuilding competition coming up & I was concerned about the tanning & oil on a fresh tattoo. The rest of the staff that I interacted with either on the phone or while I was in the shop were all very friendly & very professional. Highly recommended!

I had both of my ear lobes pierced. I was very nervous about getting them done. I was recommended this place by someone who worked in the mall that has been here several times. It was very easy to make an appointment. All I had to do was go to their website and you can fill out a form for an appointment! When I got there, Carter, who was piercing my ears was very nice and helpful. He explained everything really well and went into detail about every little step which made me feel better as a first timer. I would totally recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get their first piercing or if you already have a ton of piercings. Totally going back if I decide to get more.

Absolutely LOVE carter ❤️ came in yesterday for a double piercing (Medusa and left nostril), even though Ive gotten numerous piercings before I was a little nervous about getting them done- Carter made me feel extremely comfortable along with walking me through with everything that was being done. It wasnt awkward at all and made sure all my piercings were as symmetrical as they could be especially working with what he could. My favorite place to go for piercings Ill definitely be back for more !

I went to Carter for my very first piercing. I was very anxious and nervous as I have a big fear of needles. They made it very simple and fast, walked me though the prosses befor and during, calming my nerves alot. It ended up being such a positive experience. I would recommend Carter 110 % To anyone who may be a little more on the anxious side of getting a peirceing♡

Carter gave me two nostril piercings (one in each nostril) and my experience was positively amazing. I was a little nervous when I came in but he immediately calmed all of my nerves - his attention to detail with my symmetrical piercings was impeccable. He took his time lining them up perfectly from all angles.The space itself is beautiful, including his room. The waiting area was lovely and a nice calming space and the person at the front desk was so welcoming and kind when I entered.They gave me the choice of whatever metal color I wanted and he customized the jewelry to be the exact color I selected, I thought that was really cool.He went through the entire process and aftercare instructions so eloquently that I left with no questions and felt confident in taking care of my piercings after I left. Carter the piercer is INCREDIBLE!!!! he pierced both sides of my nostril, they healed so beautifully, and were pierced so evenly - i’m grateful that he has a stellar eye for perfection, we spent many minutes triple and quadruple checking that they would be pierced evenly. i felt super comfy and i’ve never had a better experience w a piercer!! go see carter asap!!!!!! also incredibly reasonable pricing!!!:)) now they are completely healed and i put spikes in them, i love it!!! thanks carter!!

Got 2 piercings done with Carter! He was very honest and throughly explained what to expect during the piercing & all the after care instructions. He made me feel very comfortable & answered any question I had. He even knew exactly what earring would look best with my other ones just by a first glance. The shop was very clean and they had great infection control procedures. The piercings turned out great. Carter is very genuine & takes pride in the work he does. Ive had my nose done a couple times (at home) and i was hoping going to addictions, would be money worths. it definitely was! carter is so friendly and patient. he helped me and my mom make sure we got the right jewelry, made sure we knew what was going to happen, and made sure i knew how to take care of my piercing. the piercing part was quick and easy and i didnt bleed! i definitely recommend going to carter for any piercings! mine looks like i have had it for years and i just got it done 2 days ago. i will definitely be going back to him for more piercings!!! thank you carter:)

I had my nose previously pierced, but allowed it to close. I was hoping to start with a hoop when I pierced it again, but Carter was so professional and amazing at explaining why I needed to start with a stud and helped me pick a beautiful piece. He then made sure to take my name and let me know when hoops would be available so I can switch when the piercing heals. During the process he was so friendly, funny, and professional. He meticulously measured and marked my nose knowing I was changing to a hoop. This is so important because no one wants to switch out jewelry and find out the piercing is in an awkward spot! The piercing itself was very minimal pressure, absolutely no bleeding, and he was so calm.I highly recommend Carter and Addictions. The staff was friendly, my appointment was on time, and the standards are top notch. While I dont foresee myself getting any more piercings, if I do Carter will be my only choice - hands down!

Finally got one of my dream arm pieces, Nathan lost no time on having me in and out of the chair quickly. Awesome work, incredible detail and was friendly and talkative the whole time.

My daughter (12) had her second lobe piercing done yesterday. She was a bit nervous, and Carter was very helpful and explained his technique to her very carefully.She loved her experience, and is excited for her third lol. Thank you guys for making her feel so welcome.

I had a helix piercing that I had replaced at Almost Famous (in the mall) and it fell out twice. I didn’t want to go back so I went to Addictions and Carter was so amazing! He’s very friendly, personable, and worked with me to pick out an earring that wouldn’t fall out. I was very comfortable with him placing the earring as well. Additionally, it was $10-20 dollars LESS than what I had been paying at Almost Famous. Highly recommend their services!

I would recommend Addictions piercer Haley to anyone wanting to get pierced. She did both my Madussa and nose piercings yesterday; 09/08/22. Then my daughters belly piercing today; 09/09/22. I can tell she takes great pride in her work by the way she double, triple and quadruple check to make sure her markings are to her customers liking. She is extremely professional and informative.

Carter is the absolute best, love his personality and hes super knowledgeable. He did my Medusa piercing and I barely had any pain (ofc this varies from person to person) and its healing just fine. 5 stars 🌟

I booked an appointment with their piercer Haley on the website, received numerous confirmation messages, and then when I showed up from out of town for my scheduled appointment I was told Haley wasn’t there and no one could perform my service. There was no communication from anyone at the shop prior to my appointment despite them having multiple forms of accurate contact information to update me about my appointment. The artists in the shop tried to be as much help as they could, but I was extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism from this shop.

Carter is a great piercer! He was very professional, explained everything thoroughly and was very friendly! :) Loved his bubbly personality, it definitely helped calm down my nerves! :) I would go back and get more piercings done by Carter!

Ive had Ryan do two of my tattoos now and they came out excellent both times. His line work is exceptional. My second tat was a simple arm band with a half inch gap (for personal meaning), and the width and straightness was maintained perfectly all around, which I understand can be a challenging thing to do. Hes very friendly and collaborating/communicating with him is effortless. He also throws in a free touch up. Id trust him with anything!

Got another tattoo by Nate and he did not disappoint. I told him what I was thinking about and he made it possible. Great artist and very easy to talk to during appointment.The new location is perfect and all of the staff have been helpful and friendly

Ive been going to Trent since I was 18 and he was just apprenticing. I have an upcoming appointment with him.... on my 40th birthday. Addictions has been my go-to place for 22 years!! The entire staff is very helpful and polite, and the atmosphere is very laid back, clean and tidy. Over the years Ive witnessed hundreds of customer interactions, and every single one was pleasant and friendly and respectful. Ive seen a lot of boneheaded questions asked by some boneheaded customers, but everyone has always been treated professionally and courteously. The artists are not afraid to take a few extra minutes to go over instructions or procedures and really let the clients know what to expect. The quality of work is also top notch. Theres a reason why Ive been a customer for life, and its because theyre the best shop in town.

Had my ears pierced by carter, first piercing and hurt way less then expected. They look awesome. Good staff, clean place. I got mixed up on the days my appointment was, and showed up the day before but they fit me in anyways. 10/10 above and beyond.

I have gone to Haley for several piercings including; my eyebrow piercings, bridge, 2nd tongue piercing as well as some jewelry changes. Haley is an absolute angel, she is always so thorough in explaining the process and does a fantastic job! Ill post some photos of my piercings. 😍

Ryan Wald does an amazing job! Ive now gotten two tattoos from him, and he is the easiest guy in the world to talk too. He came up with an awesome tattoo idea that I couldnt resist! Ive also been pierced there twice and each times, I felt very comfortable.

I called in to make an appointment for a small tattoo. The girl on the phone told me there was a guest artist taking walk ins and she could call me when he was ready. She said there was 3 people ahead of me. 4 hours later (an hour before closing) I called them wondering why I hadn’t been called yet. They told me his appointments went longer than expected and he already left for the day! I understand things happen and if there wasn’t enough time that’s fine. But I was never called and notified with this so I sat around all afternoon waiting for them to call me. they had no intention of calling me back. When I called she said I could be put on the waiting list for tomorrow but I declined telling her I didn’t want to wait all day for them not to call me and I’d rather have a set appointment. She informed me they are booked out to April. My tattoo is literally going to be 2 inches long.. I’ll be going somewhere else where the customers time is respected and my business is valued

I got a daith piercing and conch piercing and both have healed beautifully, the placement is perfect, the piercer was swift, I felt almost no pain. 10/10 will get pierced here again!

I used to run a piercing business team in San Francisco in 1991but had taken out my jewelry long ago. I have recently decided to get my favorite piercings redone and the staff here has been great. The two piercers on staff have both done work on me that they should be proud of.They are professional, considerate, and provide superior consultation on placement, size and functionality of the work they do.I have now had 3 rather sensitive piercings done here and have had the finest experience of my many years in the business from their piercing Artisans.Willy is fantastic, and despite my experience, I happily placed my complete trust in his decisions for placement and sizing. He is sure of hand and his work is has not produced the generally expected temporary swelling that is indicative of piercings post healing process.The only Con I have:The store could use a larger selection of specialized jewelry, sizing , capture beads and stretching accessories.

Carter helped me out today with piercing my conch and my rook in my left ear. He was so knowledgeable and very comforting as I was extremely nervous. He talked me through the process of piercing my ear and process of aftercare. I could tell he was experienced, because I was in very little pain and normally I’m kind of a baby with pain. 😂 He represents this business so well and I will be coming back for any replacing of jewelry and other possible piercings. I couldn’t be happier with my experience here, and I’ll be recommending him and this business for as long as I can!! 😁

Got a septum piercing, wanted it for years but was afraid. The piercer was the best! Made me very comfortable and I was not scared at all. It is now 4 months later, no issues at all and I love my piercing! Just got new jewellery for it ( from the same place) and couldnt be happier. TY Addictions!

Went in dec 21 as a walk in and had a vertical lip piercing done by Carter with willie supervising lol. I love it. Almost no pain and so quick. Absolutely no swelling after 5 days (barely any for those 5 days and I do mean barely any) . Extremely friendly weirdos here. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS!!!!!

Willie (Im pretty sure thats his name) did my seconds and my septum, he also replaced one of the balls for my septum piercing.He has been nothing but kind and patient and professional. If you go to addictions for a piercing, go to him. He is unbelievably understanding and will work with you no matter how nervous you may be or where you want to put it.I havent gone to anyone else since Ive gone to him.If I could give him 10 stars, I would.

Good, clean location. Fun art and good atmosphere. People are nice and willing to take the time to explain whats going on and to make sure you are getting what you asked for. Must be 16 and if not an adult, then must bring a parent, they did ask for a birth certificate to verify. Daughter and wife have gotten piercings here and everything seems to be going well.

Went in to get a third piercing and within a few days it fell out in my sleep, it was very small so I almost lost it-but I brought it back in and they re-pierced it. Not too long after it fell out again and they said it was defective, and they were still going to make me pay for another one even though they admitted the piercing was defective on their part. Gave up and went somewhere else after this that had much better service and quality.

Ive gotten a number of piercings here, and plan on getting more in the future--as well as some ink. My visits to Addictions are always pleasant; the staff is helpful and highly professional. Furthermore, the place features numerous pieces of art by the resident tattoo artists--its quite easy to lose track of time by staring at whats on display. As a whole, the interior is aesthetically alluring whilst also being comfortable--and, most importantly, clean.Theres also a Golden Axe arcade cabinet, which is sweet.I recommend this place to anyone considering a tattoo or a piercing, naturally, but those who appreciate art will also find much to marvel at.

I decided to go here because of the reviews and to be honest, customer service there was pleasant. However, I got two piercings and bought both jewelry from them (studs). One of my piercings (6months old) keeps growing a bump. I take good care of it and I even had my doctor prescribe antibiotics to me and the bump isn’t going away. I’ve recently just figured out that it’s b/c the stud is tarnishing. The second piercing (cartilage) has long since closed: somehow the stopper on the stud fell off and so did the earring (I saw the earring on the ground but I didn’t think it was mine). I didn’t notice this until later in the day when I saw blood on my ear through a mirror. Unfortunately I was on a trip and couldn’t go get them to put a different jewelry so it closed 5days after. I’m quite disappointed with the service that I got here.

I called on Halloween and they got me in that day. They were honest with me about getting and industand told me I couldnt because of the shape of my ear. I ended up getting 2 flat piercings. They look amazing and it only hurt a little.

The saying you get what you pay for does not apply here. I got a tattoo that could have easily cost me $900, for $550. I mean this tattoo is worth of the spotlight, the amazing amount of detail fit into the tattoo is crazy. The staff is truly proficient at their art and will get you in and out with the tattoo of your dreams in the blink of your eye. Easy on the eyes , easy in the wallet, Ect. Ect. So glad I went here.

Currently getting tattooed. This is the oldest tattoo shop with over 20 continuous years of operation. Many great artists here. Also 2 great piercers to handle of those needs as well. Love this place!

I had such a great experience working with Willie! His presence was calming and upbeat. He made the experience quick but yet comfortable!

It was a good experience, wish I had done some more research before though. My tattoo looked fantastic when I got it done, but now it looks splotchy and discolored. Have to go in and get recolored. You get what you pay for, and I paid $60. Look around before making your final decision!!!

I was told it would cost around 250 and take 2 hours. My artist only did the outline instead of the whole tattoo and charged me 300. And they also accused me of not putting down my 100 dollar deposit when I did while setting up the appointment.

Ryan actually just tattooed me a couple days ago. I had a memorial piece done for a baby my husband and I lost back in Janauary and it is...other than my son that we are blessed to have baby feet on my chest, one of THE MOST beautiful pieces i have!! When I look at it I get this feeling of peace. Like its weird, looking at this tattoo gives me a little peace of mind knowing that our baby is ok. Thanx ryan for everything. Jeremy and I wouldnt have had anyone else do it☺
