Went to this place again because they were the ones who originally did my piercings and tattoos. However I walked in to get jewelry. Not greeted so I waited patiently to watch three people to walk in and be greeted. So I will officially be finding a new tattoo place. Such a shame. 🤡

This studio steals art, flash sheets and anything else from reputable artists anywhere in the world. Triston in particular has posted on facebook where it is extremely obvious that none of the flash sheets match each other, and has literally left in watermarks of artists hes stolen from. Dont spend your money here! They dont care for you! Spend it with an artist who actually draws their own art and is worth the money they charge!

Maybe stop stealing other artists work and selling it as your own.If you’re that useless at creating your own designs then take up another profession.Also hiding comments is weak(highlighted in red are the artists these people have stolen from)

Went in, as a walk-in, an Fia took my idea and added her own creativity and knocked it out of the park! Couldn’t be more pleased!!!

Theyre art thieves - they steal the work of dozens of other tattooists and artists and claim it as their own. Avoid getting their flash work! Look up the original artist, otherwise you risk getting subpar work that doesnt look like the pictures provided! Its scummy to begin with, but also dishonest advertising!

I’ve worked with Tommy and Annie, they are awesome artists! Made the drive 2 hours to get work done… WORTH IT! Clean facility, nice folks!

I’ve had 3 artists work on my human canvas. They all came from Fat Mermaid and now Cold Desert WM is Blessed to have them. Thanks to Erica Dean (former owner of Fat Mermaid that was forced to close due to Covid-19), I was introduced to and worked on by each of the artists.Hermit is Freaking Amazing and has done 1 remarkable coverup and is in the process of doing a 2nd coverup now. He’s a very likable person and extremely talented!BEXX is another Amazing Artist with a light hand and excellent skill set! She is very kind, likable and thoughtful! She did my ❤️’s names and my NOTW ink work.

The owner, Robin, was very nice and helpful with getting me a same day session. My artist was Charlie. This was the cleanest tattoo shop Ive seen, and I am more than thrilled with my tattoo. It is perfect. I got an amazing price! It also was my first time going alone and I felt comfortable and welcome the entire time. Thanks so much!Ps- dont forget to tip your artist ♥️

100% recommend, from the second I walked in,was greeted by several of the artists and the manager, all cool. SANTOS did my new ink,and what an amazing job he did.If youre wanting a new tatt,I highly SUGGEST going to see these folks

I first went to the shop on Hwy 80 in west Monroe, but they were booked. I really wanted my tattoo on that day bc it was 1 month since my brother committed suicide and I wanted the tattoo in memory of him. The young lady at the front desk called their shop in Monroe and Caleb had an opening. I went over and he was so great. He did the exact tattoo I wanted...its perfect! I would totally recommend either shop to anyone. They do have a policy of $100 minimum, but its worth it and they have to get paid for their time...the same as anybody else. Besides if I want a tattoo I would rather pay somebody to do excellent work and they deliver. Caleb was awesome!

Got the prettiest neo traditional tattoo from reid, this shop is really cool ! the workers there are so funny & helpful & they also this cool thing where they have tattoos in a gumball machine and you get a random tattoo of whatever u pulled for $50

I took my daughter there to get her ear cartilage pierced. Hallie was very friendly and professional. She explained everything in detail and was very patient and understanding. Highly recommended!

Everyone was so welcoming. Hallie was AMAZING! She made me feel so comfortable and did my piercing beautifully! Vibes were 10/10. Service was 10/10! :)

The absolute worst experience with a tattoo shop!!! I paid for a drawing and Jessie Olsen refuses to give it to me or the money I spent on it. He keeps putting the tattoos off. When I asked him for my money back he sent only half of it back 2 weeks after he kept pushing the date around then asked me what I was going to do about it. You cant have customer service like that in a business setting.

Mediocre at best, and way over priced. Based on what I paid for the 20 minutes of work (including prep and clean up, the actual tattooing was maybe 6 minutes), the hourly rate must be about $450 plus tip. Obviously there is a shop minimum, but this was pretty ridiculous. Bait and switch pricing on an addition that I wanted, way outside of the range I was originally told - nothing had changed between quotes.Would have gone somewhere else once I came in and saw how the experience was going to go if it didn’t need it to be done on that day.Two stars because it seemed to be sufficiently clean.

Let me first say I was terrified beyond anything you can imagine😫 Ive always wanted a nose piercing but never had the balls to do so I finally got my courage up and went in Marcus⭐⭐⭐ was awesome at explaining things to me, calming me down I had such a wonderful experience⭐🙏 with him that the next day I brought my mom back to have hers done thank you guys so much especially Marcus ❤wonderful experience👍

Very professional service for piercing my little ones ears. Very hygienic and my daughters ears didnt swell at all compared to Claires and their inaccurate job that they did prior to coming here. Paying a bit more to have it done right.

I am visiting from out of state and wanted to get MY FIRST tattoo when I was with my brother. I was a walk in and VERY nervous. The facility was great and everyone involved in my experience was friendly and knowledgable. I had been waiting 5 years to get a quote from my grandmother tattooed on my foot. It was worth the wait. ERICA is amazing!!!!!! She answered all if my questions, (some silly, some legit) put my mind at ease, made it a great experience AND did an amazing job!!!!!!!!! I can not express how pleased I was with it all. THANK YOU ERICA and I will be waiting until next time I visit West Monroe to get another tat!

I have been in and out of Cold Desert multiple times with friends to get tattoos, as well as for myself. The environment is unlike most tattoo shops I have been in before in a very positive way. The owners are wonderful people and the people working in the shop are always nice. The artist that did my tattoo did exactly what I asked. He did it in a timely fashion and the tattoo itself turned out just like what I had in mind. The building is clean, and if you watch the artists closely, they always clean their stations before beginning a tattoo. If asked where to go in the West Monroe/Monroe area, I would definitely recommend Cold Desert to everyone!

Mr Hermitt did an excellent job. Kept his word on the leaving the day open for me and my wife. Did both of ours back to back (roughly 7 hours). Had a great attitude the entire time. We will be using him from now on!

I went in to get some piercings at Cold Desert Tattoo in West Monroe, LA. The young lady doing the piercings was either very inexperienced or just didn’t care. My ear became so infected that I couldn’t touch it. I went back a few days later to have them remove the piercing, to which they charged another $50 for THEIR mistake. I had to go to the doctor which cost $80, meds cost another $85. So for the total mistake of using this place to get a couple of piercings, I lost around $300. Unless you are getting just your lobes done, I would use someone else. Even then, I personally would use someone else. This was probably the worst experience I’ve had in a while when it comes to customer service!!

I always go to tiff for my piercings because she’s got a very calming voice and always walks me through it . as well as marking the area before she pierces to lmk if i like it or not . it’s always a quick process , in and out , and my piercings are always even . the only time i’ve got an infection was with my first piercing because i was anxious and was touching it so that was on me , but this place is very sterile and good quality.

Brian is by far my favorite piercer of all time! Hes very knowledgeable & all around awesome!! He did a double nostril piercing on me today & I love it!!

My daughter and I went in to get tattoos for her birthday, Santos did our tattoos. He was unable to sketch mine in a way that I was confident in his work. I finally had to just go with a picture so he could make a stencil. My daughters were stencils to. They all turned out uneven & inconsistent .When I called to see if he could do a touch up I was told they didnt know when he worked & didnt have his phone #. I would post pictures but I am unable.

It took a while but they were very detailed in their sterilization of the equipment and explaining the process of the piercing and also the care it was a good experience

Ms. Spade is awesome at what she does piercings. So awesome in fact I brought my little sister in to see her for her nose piercing she loooves it! I will be coming back to see her for next piercing for sure!

Gave a $40.00 deposit for a cover-up so artwork could get started. Gave contact info, phone number, e-mail nothing. Checked back the next week, still not started. Entering week four and still nothing. Forget this place. Typical Monroe/West Monroe experience. Save up your money and go out of state.

Artist told us to be there at 2..waited 45 minutes for the artist to get to the shop.. never did show.. ended up leaving and going elsewhere

So I’m underage to have my cartilage pierced without parental consent, but I wanted to know which ear piercings hurt the least.

I wouldnt recommend getting a piercing here. I had to visit another tattoo shop in my area to get my piercing removed due to poor placement.
